Chives Catering

We have used Ken/Chive Catering twice now and he does not disappoint. Everyone is raving about his food from our February event (24 ppl), and today everyone (46 ppl) is raving about his food from last nights event. Ken has been wonderful to work with. He is very responsive and strives to impress. His staff is amazing and was very attentive during our sit-down family style dinner and is super detailed oriented while setting up to make sure everything was perfect. Ken's food is beyond delicious as well as beautifully presented. One our executives came up to me today and asked me to use him for all our corporate events! DONE! Top reviews were for his lobster rolls (I was told we HAD to have those at last nights event), crab cakes and his beef tenderloin (another must have). I can see why everyone told me to make sure they were on the menu. My favorite app was this skewer with shrimp and a snow pea (I think it was a snow pea...so simple yet beautifully displayed and so good) and these little vegetable spring rolls. YUM! Ken was recommended to us by our CEO last year after attending a party Ken catered and told me to keep him in my back pocket. When we had our post holiday dinner in February with the executive team, I knew exactly who to call and I'm so glad we did. Then last week when planning a very last minute event, we were so excited Ken was available. I recommend Ken at Chives Catering with the highest regard. He will not disappoint. I'm attaching some photos of some of the menu items while the chefs were cooking and preparing at our venue. I'm disappointed I did not try the mozzarella. I'm a cheese junkie.

The best caterer ever - Ken Jurgensen of Chives Innovative Catering in St. Petersburg, Florida. They catered our rehearsal dinner at home (Whole Roasted Suckling Pig and Florida Shrimp Boil) and the wedding at the Civitan Beach House. The appetizers at the wedding were top notch, nothing cheap. Multi-course dinner with fish and meat course, desserts, late night snacks - out of this world good quality and taste! Super reasonable cost-wise. Ken's staff is the best: very attentive to the guests and nurturing to the hosts. Ken went out of his way to accommodate our wishes and tastes, had great insight into the wedding industry and gave valuable and cost-saving advice and pitched in where we were lacking. We are truly thankful that we could book him! He made our daughter's wedding wonderful. Get him while you can!

Our wedding planner recommended Chives, and said there was no point in looking elsewhere. They were so right! Our 200+ guests all raved about the food at our wedding. Ken set up little taco, skewers, paella, pasta, dessert (I highly recommend the cupcakes!!!), and beverage stations across the property, and made sure there was plenty for everyone. He even wrapped up all the leftovers and left them in the fridge for us, which the hungover wedding party much appreciated. His staff was extremely professional -- one of them even smooth-talked our way out of a noise complaint the police were responding to, without me ever knowing about it. He and his team went above and beyond. I would highly recommend Chives for any event you may be planning. Thank you Ken for helping make our wedding extra magical.

Chives Catering did a wonderful job for our beach house wedding. Ken and his staff were great to work with. The staff were very personable, professional and ready with a smile. There were details that we discussed throughout the wedding process and Ken took care of all those details the day of. Ken had recommendations for us during the planning process and was very helpful with his suggestions. He created an amazing menu that catered to the needs of both us and our guests. The food display and quality was spectacular. One kind server had appetizers plated for us after our photos so we could enjoy them together before going out to see our guests. The servers were always working hard and kind to guests. I would choose them again in a heartbeat.
