n all the decisions we made in planning, the one I feel most confident in is hiring Chloe as photographer. Not only were the pictures fantastic, she was great to have around for the ceremony and reception. She made us feel warm and I never got "smile fatigue." She did such great work.

reat five months prior to my big day, I knew she would be the perfect photographer for my upcoming wine country wedding! Chloe’s positive, professional, and ingenious approach to creating the perfect client experience is unmatched to anyone else I’ve worked with (and I would know because I’m an event planner), and it truly came to life during our wedding process. From the beginning, she took away the typical worry couples face during the wedding planning, and the plague of indecisions and paralysis by analysis for what we wanted in our photos. She asked all the right detailed questions, the dynamics of our wedding party, families on both sides, our colors, locations, the shot-list for the entire day, and offered a plethora of options we could add, including a personalized blog post, second shooter, videographer, photobooth and more! She was on top of everything, was always available to communicate when new questions or changes arose, or if we needed to clarify anything. Additionally, her outgoing, confident and free-spirited nature really made our wedding party feel comfortable in front of the camera, and she consistently remained focused and dedicated to the job throughout the entire day! We had a photobooth at the wedding, and when I realized some of the instax film I brought was the wrong size for her camera, she immediately worked her magic in a few phone calls to get a new camera brought to the wedding booth in the hills of Calistoga all within an hour before the wedding – amazing! The photos for our wedding could not have turned out any better, and she created an enchanting re-enactment of our nuptials and day in a beautifully crafted blog post a month after the wedding. She honestly captured everything we wanted from our wedding, and then some. I could not recommend Chloe Jackman more for any photo shoot quite frankly, let alone a wedding!

the day came. She shot our wedding at The General's Daughter in Sonoma, May 2018. She did a beautiful job capturing all of the small details of our ceremony, our reception, and all of the personal touches we did for our custom wedding bands and ways we honored our late family members. She also was able to capture so many tender moments between my husband and I, our friends, and our families. Chloe is great at managing/corralling wedding parties, crazy large families, finding the perfect spot to capture special moments + portraits for weddings. Her energy and positive spirit makes the whole day so much fun!

ected all the family (sober and drunk) and was able to coordinate pictures perfectly throughout the day. Every guest had a photo, both spontaneous and intended. She had a great sense of humor, added to the fun, was like a guest and friend more than a photographer. Just perfect. But the biggest surprise was with the photos. When we saw the first one it looked like we fell out of a catalogue. My wife, or course, always looks perfect. But I even looked good, which is nearly impossible to do. Since then my family and the rest of the wedding is talking to us and planning to order many more photographs. She was worth every penny and the pictures are just amazing. Just perfect.

She even has a secret weapon to keep the bridal party nice, calm, and relaxed, and it was a life saver! hough we knew having a photographer was important for our wedding memories we were still a bit nervous about it all. Chloe made us feel right as ease from the engagement shoot (as a side-note I always thought that these were a waste of money but it is a great way to meet the photographer, get rid of any jitters and making sure they know how to photograph you well!). My husband loved her and hammed it up for the cameras. Chloe remembered all the small details of things we liked (including hamburgers, ice cream, birding (husband), reading (me), hiking in Tilden and our adventurous travels) and incorporated them into our engagement shoot in Tilden. As for the wedding, she went above and beyond! First, the top button of my form-fitting wedding dress came off and she fixed it (using the emergency bridal kit that she gave me. Apparently my husband had something similar happen and they used the emergency groom kit that she gave him). Second, my parents are divorce (dad is remarried and mom is not) and not only did she check in with me on that and any other possible family stickiness she went up and spoke to my parents (they told me afterwards) separately to make sure they got the pictures they wanted and felt well-cared for and not left out! And last but not least-the photos! They are AMAZING. I was a bit concerned about photographers not being able to photograph people of all colors and shades...not an issue with Chloe. Me, my bridesmaids (who are my sisters), my friends, parents, etc have told me that they have NEVER looked that great in pictures-including their own wedding pictures. If you are reading this review trying to decide who to choose, look no further, Chloe Jackman is your photographer!

king vendors for the big day! My husband was originally a bit apprehensive about taking engagement photos, but quickly warmed up to Chloe’s vibrant personality and amazing sense of humor. We felt immediately comfortable with her which was important for catching some beautiful and authentic moments. Engagements are so fleeting and they tend to speed by, so I will always be grateful that we have these memories of that special time! We were both impressed by her familiarity with the best spots to shoot in San Francisco and her eye for capturing beautiful lighting, particularly with sunsets. We were so pleased with our engagement photos that it was a no brainer to make sure she was available for our wedding! She was so well versed in the industry that I learned a ton of ‘wedding hacks’ about planning and what to expect throughout the process. Talking with her in the months leading up helped me to ensure I was on track with my own planning checklist. I knew that every bit of advice she had was expertly seasoned by her experience shooting hundreds of clients and it definitely showed. I feel so fortunate that Chloe was willing to travel to San Diego from San Francisco to shoot our wedding. She walked through the layout during our rehearsal the day before and was even able to catch a few shots at our rehearsal dinner. The day of our wedding, she was there in the morning at 7 am to capture the morning yoga class I had scheduled on the beach. She was there during the ‘getting ready’ fun and laughter with all of my girls as we got dolled up at the salon. We were able to focus solely on being fully present and soaking in the joy of the day. My husband and I chose to not do “first look” because we wanted it to be a surprise when we saw each other for the first time at opposite ends of the aisle. Just thinking about it brings me to tears and I am so so soooo thankful that we have hundreds of beautiful, colorful, photographs to be able to remember the best parts of that wonderful day. She got all of the important shots that we asked for, plus some other awesome ones that I never could have thought up if I tried! All of our photos were edited to perfection, conveniently always available on a stylish teal USB in true Chloe fashion. We also have two lovely large metal murals of our two favorite shots hanging in our living room. They are the most complimented piece of artwork in our apartment! Our album is gorgeous, sleek, and pristine. Chloe always jokes that if your house is on fire, you should grab the wedding album first! While I hope that never happens to us, I truly think I would make a run for the album if it came down to it. ;) On a day like your wedding, you want to be able to fully trust the person who makes it so you can remember it vividly, forever. Not just for you, but for family, for friends, and for generations to come. Chloe will make it happen! She truly cares about her clients and made magic with us. I recommend her to everyone and anyone in need of a shining, awesome, brilliant, fun photographer for life!

abulous. Simultaneously enthusiastic and laid back, reassuring, super flexible and completely on top of her game. My wife asked if Chloe was a friend, since she seemed so at ease. Our engagement photos turned out amazing! So, when it came to wedding planning, we both knew that we wanted to work with Chloe again if at all possible. Luckily, she had our date available, so we booked her right away. She was delightful to work with every step of the way. We spoke by phone a few times and even met for lunch. She did everything in her power to connect with us, not only as a client, but as a couple. She wanted to make sure that she captured every special moment of our wedding day. The day of, she and her associate were everything we could have hoped for. They were both so excited to be there, professional enough to herd our families for formal pictures, rolled with whatever change of plans happened, adapted to some challenging scene and lighting situations, easily interfaced with the videographer, and most importantly captured so many of our favorite things about the wedding. We would both definitely recommend Chloe to anyone looking for a photographer for weddings, engagements, or just family sessions. We absolutely be calling Chloe in the future as we add to our family album.

ers who don't talk to each other in the same photos, for example, and she also made the pictures fun and enjoyable to take. she took a lot of traditional photos that you'd expect to see in an album, as well as some really fun and offbeat ones that i honestly like better than the traditional ones. :) our venue was well lit for atmosphere but not so well lit for picture taking, but Chloe scoped it out beforehand and brought all the equipment she needed to make sure the lighting in pictures would be appropriate. both she and her second shooter were entirely respectful and polite to all our guests, but they also playfully moved people around as needed and got even the most stoic of our friends and family to smile like they meant it. i can't recommend Chloe highly enough… she was a total pleasure to work with, and our photos will be a treasured possession forever!

She knew exactly what we wanted, even though we weren't the best at describing what that was. She managed to fill-in as our sort of "day of wedding coordinator" by running the show when everything got chaotic. Our large and somewhat unruly families certainly put her to the test, but she did wonderfully and everyone commented on how wonderful she was! She even set up a sort of "photobooth" for us free of charge! Our guests loved it! I can't imagine what we would've done without Chloe!
