Chocolate Carousel

We worked with CC through our venue WOTW@ Frogbridge and were so happy about this collaboration! We ordered a tasting box at home and highly recommend doing this to pick your favorite cake flavor, filling, and frosting. We did the devil's food with cannoli cream and buttercream frosting and everyone loved it, even vanilla cake lovers. The cake was not at all dry, the filling was creamy and full of choc chips, and the cake looked BEAUTIFUL. 10/10 recommend this bakery.

Working with Chocolate Carousel for our wedding cake was so stress free and wonderful. We used Falco’s catering for our wedding and Chocolate Carousel was included in our package. We shared our inspiration with them with what we wanted and it came out absolutely perfect! To pick our flavors, we were able to sample from a variety of cakes, fillings, and icing to make sure we picked the perfect combo for us (we went with funfetti cake, vanilla custard filling, and white chocolate icing). Also, highly recommend going into the bakery for a few sweet treats leading up to your wedding. We picked up our wedding cake tasting box on a cake slice Saturday where we sat for a while at the bakery chatting with the owner and enjoyed some AMAZING cake.

The cake came with our contract at Clark’s. They were pretty easy to work with. You ordered a cake testing kit and did a cake testing at home. Then you set up a zoom consultation and talk with a staff member on how you want your cake designed. No complaints here!

Our wedding venue includes a 4 tier wedding cake in their wedding package. However, my husband and I always wanted to do a donut tower! After our consultation with Chocolate Carousel and tasting their cake and donuts, we knew we wanted to do our donut tower. Chocolate Carousel made this possible and our cake designer Elizabeth was super accommodating. They made 140 donuts that matched our wedding colors and did a small round cake on top for our cake cutting. The donuts and almond cake were DELICIOUS! We also had sheet cakes made for our guests so everyone could enjoy their cake AND donuts! They also give you a free 1 year anniversary wedding cake which we are so excited to receive.

We loved our wedding cake!! Not only was it gorgeous, but it was absolutely delicious! We chose the vanilla cake with the raspberry chambord filling and vanilla buttercream icing.

Rating: 10/10 Our cake was included in the package with our venue so we were using Chocolate Carousel regardless. They have an option where you can order the flavors you want to try and they pack up a box for you to take home. My husband and I really liked this option. The flavors that are included for free with the venue were so good that we didn’t even bother paying for the upgrade. We did devils food chocolate with raspberry chambord buttercream and almond with lemon buttercream. A few people even asked where we got the cake because they liked it so much. They also did a great job with the design. We were very happy with the aesthetic and flavor of our cake.

Delicious and beautiful! We worked with Chocolate Carousel through our venue, Tim McLoones, and it was perfect! The tasting box was great and our wedding cake was a hit! Not only was the decoration gorgeous but the cake was delicious. We had our main cake and a small gluten free cake for me. They were both yellow cake, with buttercream icing, and lemon filling and fresh blueberries between layers. It was amazing!! Both cakes were delicious. Thank you so much.

Our cake was an absolute masterpiece! We loved the whole process with Chocolate Carousel. From designing the cake, to tasting the flavors, everything was so easy and enjoyable. The cake was so delicious and it photographed so well. We are so happy with how it turned out!

The most delicious wedding cake we’ve ever had!! So soft and delicious and literally just so good. Everyone loved the cake and it was BEAUTIFUL! It was fun and easy to design the cake with their team! We also got a yummy tasting box to try out multiple flavor combinations which made a fun date night! We’re so happy with how it turned out, and I’m not sure if this is because it was included with our venue, but we get a freshly made topper for our anniversary instead of needing to eat year-old frozen cake!! So cool!

We loved our experience with Chocolate Carousel! We were given a cake with them through our venue (McLoone's Pier House), and the whole process was so seamless. They were very communicative when we had slight changes to our design and provided guidance when we wanted to add flowers to our cake. Not to mention, it was incredibly delicious!

OH MY GOD. Our wedding cake was SO good... holy cow. We had so much fun with the tasting box and the combos we tested. We went with a white cake with lemon buttercream filling with buttercream frosting. It was light and fluffy and not the gross gritty kind of icing but perfectly sweet. Our wedding day ended up being a pretty hot day and it was nice to have a cake that was light and refreshing. When I picked up my tasting box, I also could not help myself and bought a few of the many goodies they have on site. That place is dangerous! But it also shows the range these very talented folks have. My hats off to them!

Our wedding cake from Chocolate Carousel was AMAZING! First, the tasting process with the take home box was such a treat. We had a great time sampling and deciding what flavor we wanted. The design consultation was so helpful. Seeing our design come to life on the wedding day was incredible, not to mention it tasted FANTASTIC. We've been to a lot of weddings and have been underwhelmed, but our wedding cake from Chocolate Carousel was moist and delicious! I wouldn't change a thing about it!! We would highly recommend Chocolate Carousel.

While our cake was included with our wedding package with our venue, we were so happy that they did our cake. Nicole and the whole CC team did a really great job creating our cake! Our wedding theme was a bit unconventional however, CC was able to accommodate our needs. We went with Almond cake with Raspberry Cheesecake filling. The design we went for was a 3 tiered round cake where one tier was a marble fondant look and the other tiers was smooth buttercream with gold trims. We also had 2 peekaboo fondant figures (i.e. figure of Deadpool and our dog) added to the cake. It was so delicious and got compliments from our guests. Highly recommend!

We ordered our cake from Chocolate Carousel because they are our caterer's preferred baker. They did NOT disappoint! Sometimes wedding cakes can be dry or tasteless and theirs was the complete opposite. In addition to being visually stunning, the cake itself was moist and flavorful. Working with Chocolate Carousel was very easy. The process of choosing a cake is simplified by their take-home DIY cake-tasting kit. The actual wedding cake tasted just like their samples. Everyone loved the cake so much that I ordered cupcakes for a party we hosted shortly after our wedding!

Our venue works with CC so we didn’t have a choice, however, THIS CAKE WAS AMAZING! Everyone afterward asked where we got it. It was beautiful and I cannot wait for them to recreate the top tier for us on our 1 year. I typically don’t even like cake- I had at least 2 pieces on the night of our wedding!

Our venue works with Chocolate Carousel for our wedding cake, and we couldn't be happier!! Everyone at the bakery was very helpful on the phone and answered any questions in a timely manner. The whole process went smoothly, from booking your design and cake tasting appointments, and even picking up the tasting kit. My sister was kind enough to go to the bakery to pick up our tasting kit since I was stuck at work, and she said the place is amazing inside and everything smelled delicious!! My now husband and I had a blast tasting all of the flavors we wanted to try for our wedding cake. We ended up going with an almond flavored cake with raspberry filling and white buttercream. O-M-G, everything we tasted was AMAZING!!! But the almond cake really stood out, along with the raspberry filling. You can't go wrong with any flavors you choose! Our guests at our wedding raved about the cake flavor so we were very happy with our choices :) Our venue even gave us the top tier to take home after the wedding which was so nice!! We ate it ALL within a few days!! (Even after a few days, it was still that good!!) I'm a big sweets lover, and can be critical so I can without a doubt say that Chocolate Carousel's cakes are the best!! They're so moist and fresh, and the best flavors I've had in a long time. The design of the wedding cake was exactly what we asked for, it was so beautiful!! Thank yoo so much for helping making our wedding day extra special!!

We worked with Chocolate Carousel for our wedding at Tim McLoone's. The entire process was so easy - from tastings, to meeting with the designer, to having the cake at our venue on our wedding day. The cake was so beautiful and even better than what we expected, and it was just as DELICIOUS to match.

Chocolate Carousel was one of our favorite vendors to work with. Lisa was amazing, and not only helped bring our cake vision to life but offered advice on a ton of other aspects of our big day that were seriously so helpful. The cake tasting and design process were so easy (and fun!) and everyone raved about how delicious the cake was. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed!

Cake wasn’t high on our list of priorities, but it came with our package with our venue, so we went for a simple cake. When we picked up our tasting box three months before the wedding, we were told that the seasonal flavors of cake and filling that we ordered were not available because it wasn’t the season for that flavor - even though it would’ve been during our wedding. We were disappointed that this wasn’t communicated when we submitted the form and weren’t offered a replacement flavor. We enjoyed the tasting experience regardless. I highly suggest picking up a bottle of champagne and having a picnic with your cake choices in Allaire State Park! On the day of, the cake was far more delicious than expected! We got a ton of compliments.

10/10 on the funfetti wedding cake! We loved every bite of our cake and so did our guests.

Most delicious and beautiful desserts!!!!! Chocolate Carousel designed not only a stunning wedding cake for us, but also created small two-tiered cakes on every table as our centerpieces. It was truly a wow moment! We had 5 different flavors because we just couldn't decide between all of the delicious options. They also created custom cookie favors for our rehearsal dinner, and made mini brownies and cannoli to go with our other passed dessert at the wedding. At our rehearsal dinner, Chocolate Carousel made the most amazing groom's cake we've ever seen. It was designed to look like the stanley cup with a beer being poured into it. Just amazing!!! We will be using Chocolate Carousel for all of our desserts ever!

Wedding cake of our dreams!! Looked exactly how we wanted it to and tasted even better! So many cake and filling options to choose from and was so delicious!! I have gotten bakery food from them before so I was not expecting to be disappointed and I was sure not disappointed! Design process and cake tasting was fun and easy!

It was a beautiful cake and easy to work with. Their to-go tasting kits were packaged well and still fun to taste. Their designers can do a lot, but if you want something that's not in their lookbook, be prepared to bring specific ideas to the design meeting.

No one could compare to Chocolate Carousel! It was the easiest experience working with them, from their personal planning meeting with an expert to understand our vision, to tasting different selections. You can't go wrong with any of the flavors they offer (ours were Pink Bubbly cake with Blueberry Filling). They captured exactly what we were looking for with design and gave great advice during the design meeting. I look forward to having the cake again a year from now when they give us our anniversary cake! I will be going to chocolate carousel for any of my bakery needs for my next event.

OMG this place is so good! We had our wedding at the River Queen venue and the package came with a voucher for Chocolate Carousel. We didn't know how yummy this place is beforehand, but we fell in love with their flavor combinations during our tasting. Best recommendation- good enough to have even if your venue doesn't come with a voucher for it...good enough to pay full price! LOL I also highly recommend springing for the 'peek-a-boo' if you have a furry kid at home, the puggle they made out of modeling chocolate was super cute :). We'll definitely be using them for any big baking needs in the future.

We absolutely loved our chocolate wedding cake! Chocolate Carousel made the planning and tasting process so much fun and designed our cake to match a picture we had found online! They even worked with us to add vegan cupcakes for some of our guests. You wont regret choosing this awesome vendor!

Originally, when we chose Clark’s the included wedding cake was from a different bakery, however, I had heard such wonderful things about Chocolate Carousel and was happy for the switch. We met with the designer via phone and did our cake tasting at home with our families. We chose an almond cake with vanilla mousse and buttercream frosting. The design process was seamless and our cake exceeded my expectations.

Our cake was included with our venue but I would have chosen Chocolate Carousel no matter what. We had a zoom meeting to discuss the cake design and then chose a tasting box to pick up. All of the flavor choices were delicious and it was hard to choose! So we decided to make all three tiers different flavors. When I saw our cake on our wedding day I almost cried because it was so beautiful!

Our cake was beautiful and, more importantly, delicious. We chose a chocolate cake with chocolate icing, so I was so grateful when I saw that Chocolate Carousel was able to make it look like a wedding cake even though it wasn’t white. The whole team was so easy to work with and I thoroughly enjoyed our cake. We will be ordering all important cakes from Chocolate Carousel moving forward.

Chocolate Carousel was available through my venue. While we couldn’t have an in-person appointment to create our cake, we worked via Zoom to create our cake and then received a sample box to create the flavors for our cake! It was a unique experience, and they were very available with making the phone calls and meetings and creating a vision of our cake we described. I was slightly disappointed that they couldn’t completely accommodate a nut-free cake without chance of cross contamination, and I did have to get a second cake for my brother and cousin who have severe allergies, but overall, the cake we had was beautiful, i appreciated the honesty, and everyone else enjoyed it!

CC worked closely with my mother for our wedding cake. My mom is an expert with baking so I knew she would do a great job with it. The cake CC was absolutely AMAZING!!! My mom surprised us with our three dogs on the back of the cake and let me tell you....THEY LOOKED IDENTICAL TO OUR THREE DOGS!!!! It looked awesome! Best surprise!!! Everyone is still raving about how delicious and beautiful our cake looked! Thank you SO much CC!!!!

Not going to lie, we were a bit hesitant to find out that we had to switch bakeries for our wedding as it was postponed three times and contracts changed with our venue. We already had a cake tasting and picked our dream wedding cake, or so we thought. We were lucky (and pleasantly pleased) to have a second cake tasting with Chocolate Carousel. We were able to pick the flavors we wanted to try (and we may or may not have bought a few cupcakes to try some more flavors when we picked up our cake testing kit) to enjoy in the comfort of our home. We then realized that red velvet cake and cannoli filling was actually our dream wedding cake! Our cake looked better than imagined, and we received many compliments on the look and taste of the cake! Wedding cakes can sometimes be forgettable, but we had quite a few guests saying, "wow, this wedding cake is ACTUALLY good!" Everyone we talked to at the bakery was super sweet and we would definitely use Chocolate Carousel in the future and recommend them to family and friends needing a great bakery!

Chocolate Carousel was SUPER helpful and incredibly easy to work with. They have a huge online portfolio which is incredibly helpful to make decision and get some inspiration. The Chocolate Carousel was apart of our venue wedding package. Due to COVID we had our cake tasting at home. Chocolate Carousel nicely prepared all of our cake choices along with tasting cards, and met with us through zoom so we could discuss the vision for our cake. It was such an easy process during such a challenging year. The cake was absolutely beautiful! And it was SO DELICIOUS! My dad said to use after, "I never like the wedding cakes, and yours was so good I was looking for a second slice!" Highly recommend!
