g the cake tasting and design process and there were so many delicious cake flavors, fillings and frosting combinations to choose from - it really was a difficult decision. We shared our design inspiration with them and it turned out wonderful! Our wedding cake was not only beautiful but also so delicious and stayed moist even days after the wedding! We can't wait to get our anniversary cake from them next year!

simple and the flavors spoke for themselves. We loveddddd the raspberry mouse filling in our cake was so light and refreshing. We did a regular cake for our guest and a GF guest since my husband is celiac and it was amazing could not taste the difference with which cake was GF and which wasn’t. That is hard to do! Looking forward to our anniversary cake:)

We shared our inspiration with them with what we wanted and it came out absolutely perfect! To pick our flavors, we were able to sample from a variety of cakes, fillings, and icing to make sure we picked the perfect combo for us (we went with funfetti cake, vanilla custard filling, and white chocolate icing). Also, highly recommend going into the bakery for a few sweet treats leading up to your wedding. We picked up our wedding cake tasting box on a cake slice Saturday where we sat for a while at the bakery chatting with the owner and enjoyed some AMAZING cake.

el and tasting their cake and donuts, we knew we wanted to do our donut tower. Chocolate Carousel made this possible and our cake designer Elizabeth was super accommodating. They made 140 donuts that matched our wedding colors and did a small round cake on top for our cake cutting. The donuts and almond cake were DELICIOUS! We also had sheet cakes made for our guests so everyone could enjoy their cake AND donuts! They also give you a free 1 year anniversary wedding cake which we are so excited to receive.

The flavors that are included for free with the venue were so good that we didn’t even bother paying for the upgrade. We did devils food chocolate with raspberry chambord buttercream and almond with lemon buttercream. A few people even asked where we got the cake because they liked it so much. They also did a great job with the design. We were very happy with the aesthetic and flavor of our cake.

as the decoration gorgeous but the cake was delicious. We had our main cake and a small gluten free cake for me. They were both yellow cake, with buttercream icing, and lemon filling and fresh blueberries between layers. It was amazing!! Both cakes were delicious. Thank you so much.

buttercream frosting. It was light and fluffy and not the gross gritty kind of icing but perfectly sweet. Our wedding day ended up being a pretty hot day and it was nice to have a cake that was light and refreshing. When I picked up my tasting box, I also could not help myself and bought a few of the many goodies they have on site. That place is dangerous! But it also shows the range these very talented folks have. My hats off to them!

wanted. The design consultation was so helpful. Seeing our design come to life on the wedding day was incredible, not to mention it tasted FANTASTIC. We've been to a lot of weddings and have been underwhelmed, but our wedding cake from Chocolate Carousel was moist and delicious! I wouldn't change a thing about it!! We would highly recommend Chocolate Carousel.

Our wedding theme was a bit unconventional however, CC was able to accommodate our needs. We went with Almond cake with Raspberry Cheesecake filling. The design we went for was a 3 tiered round cake where one tier was a marble fondant look and the other tiers was smooth buttercream with gold trims. We also had 2 peekaboo fondant figures (i.e. figure of Deadpool and our dog) added to the cake. It was so delicious and got compliments from our guests. Highly recommend!

the complete opposite. In addition to being visually stunning, the cake itself was moist and flavorful. Working with Chocolate Carousel was very easy. The process of choosing a cake is simplified by their take-home DIY cake-tasting kit. The actual wedding cake tasted just like their samples. Everyone loved the cake so much that I ordered cupcakes for a party we hosted shortly after our wedding!

ly manner. The whole process went smoothly, from booking your design and cake tasting appointments, and even picking up the tasting kit. My sister was kind enough to go to the bakery to pick up our tasting kit since I was stuck at work, and she said the place is amazing inside and everything smelled delicious!! My now husband and I had a blast tasting all of the flavors we wanted to try for our wedding cake. We ended up going with an almond flavored cake with raspberry filling and white buttercream. O-M-G, everything we tasted was AMAZING!!! But the almond cake really stood out, along with the raspberry filling. You can't go wrong with any flavors you choose! Our guests at our wedding raved about the cake flavor so we were very happy with our choices :) Our venue even gave us the top tier to take home after the wedding which was so nice!! We ate it ALL within a few days!! (Even after a few days, it was still that good!!) I'm a big sweets lover, and can be critical so I can without a doubt say that Chocolate Carousel's cakes are the best!! They're so moist and fresh, and the best flavors I've had in a long time. The design of the wedding cake was exactly what we asked for, it was so beautiful!! Thank yoo so much for helping making our wedding day extra special!!

ding, we were told that the seasonal flavors of cake and filling that we ordered were not available because it wasn’t the season for that flavor - even though it would’ve been during our wedding. We were disappointed that this wasn’t communicated when we submitted the form and weren’t offered a replacement flavor. We enjoyed the tasting experience regardless. I highly suggest picking up a bottle of champagne and having a picnic with your cake choices in Allaire State Park! On the day of, the cake was far more delicious than expected! We got a ton of compliments.

pieces. It was truly a wow moment! We had 5 different flavors because we just couldn't decide between all of the delicious options. They also created custom cookie favors for our rehearsal dinner, and made mini brownies and cannoli to go with our other passed dessert at the wedding. At our rehearsal dinner, Chocolate Carousel made the most amazing groom's cake we've ever seen. It was designed to look like the stanley cup with a beer being poured into it. Just amazing!!! We will be using Chocolate Carousel for all of our desserts ever!

They captured exactly what we were looking for with design and gave great advice during the design meeting. I look forward to having the cake again a year from now when they give us our anniversary cake! I will be going to chocolate carousel for any of my bakery needs for my next event.

d, but we fell in love with their flavor combinations during our tasting. Best recommendation- good enough to have even if your venue doesn't come with a voucher for it...good enough to pay full price! LOL I also highly recommend springing for the 'peek-a-boo' if you have a furry kid at home, the puggle they made out of modeling chocolate was super cute :). We'll definitely be using them for any big baking needs in the future.
