Beautiful venue with three levels for use. Main doors and back door make for easy access for loading and unloading decor. Refrigerators behind the bar on site and a freezer for ice...
. In-house speaker system made ceremony and cocktail hour music easy for our DJ. This quaint venue incorporates the heritage of Stoughton with an updated vibe. Great for all kinds of events!

I loved having my wedding at Chorus Public House! It is a stunning venue and provides a lot of space with a full basement and mezzanine. Communication with Christi at the venue w...
as prompt and clear; she answered all questions and clearly wanted to provide a good experience. We were offered multiple floor plan ideas and given a list of suggested but not required vendors to use as well as a simple and affordable connection for bartenders. Pricing was fair and we had access to the venue starting the day before the wedding which was excellent as it allowed us to have our rehearsal dinner actually in the space.
We opted to have our ceremony on the mezzanine and the reception on the main floor; this allowed us to have the entire basement for the wedding party (lovely getting ready suite down there) and storage of our things and boxes.
The venue itself is already beautiful and did not require too much too make it look perfect for our wedding. I would highly recommend having your wedding at Chorus Public House!

We got married at Chorus on 8/16/25, and every single aspect was perfect.
Christi was amazing during our booking and planning process, very quick to respond and always had straig...
htforward answers to our questions. Having excellent communication with a constant person via your venue is so important, and not always a given as one might assume. To have the same person and level of communication throughout 1.5 years was such a blessing and we value that aspect of this venue very much!
The venue itself is STUNNING. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful everything was, and most of the decor is already there at the venue. Having 3 levels was more helpful and smooth than we thought it would be! We had our ceremony on the main floor and got married in front of the staircase to the mezzanine, immediately followed by cocktail hour which took place on the mezzanine while our caterer and Day Of Coordinator Britzi staged the main level
for dinner. We didn’t use the basement level for anything guest related, but it was a great place for our bridal party and family to keep all of their things and retreat to for a break in the midst of mass socializing. It rained on our wedding day, but there was a break in the rain in perfect timing for us to be able to enter our ceremony procession from outside. There is a staircase from the basement to outside to be able to get in place without your guests seeing you. There is also a staircase from the basement to the main level behind where guests are seated for the ceremony in the event of rain, the venue really is equipped for any and all situations.
For Saturday weddings, you have access to the entire venue at 9am Friday, so we were able to get everything in and set up prior to family and bridal party arriving for our rehearsal, which we were able to have on site! Again, not every venue makes it available to you for your rehearsal, and not every venue lets you have access to it as early as you need. This was a MASSIVE part in things going as smoothly as they did.
Our day of coordinator Britzi was fabulous. I was a little nervous because you don’t meet her until the day, but she proved there was absolutely no need to worry! The team at Chorus is very well managed and prepared prior to all events, she anticipated every need and handled things I didn’t even think to worry about! We truly did not need to be concerned with the flow of anything, Britzi and our caterer handled it all.
We hired their bartenders but brought all of our own alcohol, and the lead bartender Jennifer was in contact with us in the few weeks leading up to the wedding to get details on what we’d be serving and to give us details on what they’d have available for us and where we should put things. I recommend going with their bartenders as they are familiar with the space and flow of things!
All in all, we wouldn’t trade this venue for another in any circumstance. It was everything we dreamed of, from decor, elegance and vibe, to professionalism, coordination and flow.

Beautiful venue with an expansive dance floor! Open bar made easy since we could supply the bar ourselves from Costco! Chorus Public House has the ability to create the dance floor...
experience on the main level and then we had games and photo booth up on the mezzanine level! Made for a really fun wedding!

Chorus Public House is the PERFECT wedding venue for anyone in the area. I don't say that lightly. The venue is gorgeous and you don't need to overdo it on decor, it really shines ...
on it's own. Walking down the staircase for the ceremony was so powerful and our guests loved it! It's a fair price given the Madison area venues AND you can set up a full day ahead of time. They include a day-of coordinator (we had Drew) who was unbelievably helpful and available. It was easy to be packed up and out by 1am.
The only cons are, the venue does not have an elevator due to age, but that is only an issue if you have guests who can't do stairs. We kept all of our celebrations on the main level. They also don't have water fountains on site, but because you can bring your own alcohol, we just brought our own water too and caterers helped with water.
Overall, would 100% recommend this venue and would get married here all over again.

The Chorus Public House is a beautiful venue for an elegant, vintage-inspired wedding. The wood floors and ceilings are already a great background with minimal decorating. We had a...
wedding of approximately 150 people, with a ceremony on the mezzanine, cocktail hour in the basement, and dinner/dancing on the main floor. Note that the mezzanine is best suited for under 150 but is great for having natural light and using the grand staircase. Christi from the Chorus House was professional, friendly, and fast to respond to questions via email. She also provided some helpful suggestions, such as using the same chairs for ceremony and dinner, and bringing in some “muscle” to help with moving those chairs.
While I was happy with the final product of my wedding day, I think that Chorus House still has a few things to figure out as a venue. For example, we chose to upgrade to the “Diamond Package,” which included chairs/tables/linens in addition to use of the venue. Linens didn’t include napkins, which was a surprise cost. Christi did cover half the napkins as a gesture of good faith, which was appreciated. A few other costs we incurred that were not included in the package included upgrading the chairs from white to fruitwood (which looked much better in the venue), choosing colored tablecloths instead of white, and adding a booster seat. When touring the venue, we were told there was an option to hire bartenders for an hourly rate, which was then no longer available when the time came to set up the service. We ended up hiring a separate bartending service to avoid the hassle of having to buy and bring in our own alcohol/servers.
An assistant is also available the day of your wedding for a few hours to help coordinate setup, which is nice if you don’t have a wedding planner. You could pay to have her there a few extra hours as well. One more positive note is that renting this venue gives you all of Saturday and then Sunday morning so you don’t have to clean up the night of the wedding.

Chorus Public House is a hidden gem in Stoughton and was the perfect location for our wedding reception. It has really unique vibes, and we got so many compliments on how awesome ...
the venue was. The bar was one of our favorite features of the place in addition to the beautiful staircase that was perfect for speeches and a grand entrance. Majority of our communication was with Christi, and she was highly responsive through the entire wedding planning process which is so important. You bring in all of your vendors which gave us the freedom to make our wedding exactly what we wanted it to be. A shout out to Kadie the day of the wedding for being awesome and helping make everything run smoothly. We couldn't be happier with how our big day went and hope to see more weddings at the Chorus Public House!
