planning process. We did the engagement shoot with them and couldn’t be happier with the results. Their emphasis on gorgeous lighting and natural, candid “real” photos drew us to them, and they exceeded our expectations. The photos turned out as I was hoping they would – beautiful, elegant posed photos and moving, candid photos that captured the fun and emotion of the event with our family and friends. Beyond their photography skills, they are an excellent asset while planning the wedding. In building our photography timeline, Olivia & Chris helped me frame my full day timeline and were invaluable for questions that I had throughout. was a bit stressful since there are so many and they all seem fine, but we were so lucky to have found Chris and Olivia because they understood exactly what we were looking for! After exchanging a few emails and getting a really good feeling about them, we met Olivia to chat about what we were thinking of and we left that meeting convinced we could trust them with the entire thing and not worry about anything! We were interested in more candid than posed shots (although we knew we probably had to do some posed shots because our families wanted to), and they delivered! Their photos were gorgeous, light, airy, elegant, fun. Both Olivia and Chris were complete professionals throughout the day, and so friendly and patient when getting all the family shots done. We had multiple people comment on how great they were, including some who are quite hard to impress. My husband’s parents loved them so much at one point during the evening they asked for a selfie, which they graciously and happily obliged! We highly recommend Olivia and Chris. They are fantastic and you won't be disappointed!

We truly loved working with Olivia and Chris for our wedding photography. Olivia came to Monterey because I was juggling work and wedding prep and was short on time; that’s quite a hike since they’re from San Jose. Our face to face meeting was great. She’s personable, fun, relaxed, yet professional and so on top of her game. I was impressed. We had our engagement photo session in Carmel, and they both made us feel so comfortable and at ease that day. And the photos which we used both for 'save the date' and at the venue turned out better than we could’ve hoped for. On the day of our wedding, they arrived at the venue before they were supposed to and all through the day did a great job taking not just all the photos we wanted but also much more than that. And although they were there for every single moment of the day, they weren’t intrusive or in people’s faces. We trusted them 110% with the whole process, and I’m glad we did so. When we received the pictures, a few weeks later, both my husband and I, and my parents who got to see them right away, were all so happy. They look amazing! Now I know why everyone is excited to work with them!

Her warm, welcoming attitude made us feel instantly comfortable. At the beginning of the engagement photo session, we felt awkward in front of the camera (as most couples probably do) but almost instantly, they both made us smile and forget there was even a camera there. And we had a blast. At the wedding, they coordinated seamlessly with our planner to make it through all of our planned photos, without feeling rushed and the photos came out perfectly. The formal shots were elegant, and the candid shots during the cocktail and reception perfectly captured the fun, loving atmosphere. Olivia & Chris are such a happy, energetic and positive couple they have the ability to make you feel relaxed and cheerful in any situation. There is no question in our minds that we made the right decision in selecting them and we would recommend them over and over again to anyone looking for amazing photographers for their wedding day.

If you have any reservations about booking them, you shouldn’t. On the contrary. You should move fast and contact them before they become unavailable since they don’t take on a hundred weddings a year like I’ve seen other studios do. That’s another thing we appreciated about them. They both made us feel like we mattered, and they cared, and we weren’t just one of their “n” clients. Olivia responded to my wife's initial message within a couple of hours and they started chatting back and forth on email. And that communication continued throughout, all the way after the wedding whether via email, text, phone, they always answered all our questions, kept us updated. We did our engagement session with Chris in April in SF and spent quite a few hours with him. Olivia was not supposed to be there, but she still came because she wanted to meet us, and we were really happy she did. And although we’re not that used with having our photos takes (not at all, actually), they made us feel so comfortable from the start and so relaxed. We ended up having lots of fun, despite a windy, chilly day. On our wedding day, they were both amazing. Calm, relaxed, even in the face of unpredictable events, they made everyone smile —naturally and not forced— and they blended in so naturally, it seemed like they’ve known the entire wedding party in forever. When Chris told us the photos were ready (I think it was less than a month after the wedding), and we looked at them we were in awe! Gorgeous. We’re so happy (and we’re patting ourselves on the back) for choosing Chris and Olivia. Thank you for capturing our day so flawlessly!
