Chris and Amanda were absolutely amazing to work with. They are very responsive with all questions, concerns, etc. Chris helped us plan out our day of timeline and it was SUPER helpful! Amanda did our engagement photos and they came out so beautiful, I cannot wait to see all of our wedding photos and videos. A couple days after the wedding we received our first sneak peek and it's gorgeous! They eased our nerves and made us laugh the whole time! 10/10 recommend!

We are so thankful we came across Chris and Amanda photography. They were very responsive and fair with pricing, especially after looking at many other photographers. We loved how they offered photo and video combined packages and also loved how it is a local family business. Anytime we had any questions or concerns we could reach out and they would get right back to us. They were helpful and gave great advice, they even suggested certain photos that we may want that I wasn't even thinking about at the time. When it came to our wedding, some of the pictures we looked at I would have never even realized they were there. They never seemed to be in your face and were not overbearing. We struggled a few obstacles as our photo booth lady canceled on us a few hours before our wedding. Chris and Amanda pulled through to find us someone last minute. We cannot thank them enough! They were in touch with our entire Wedding crew, so everybody was on the same page and it was less stress for us. We just received our pictures and I've never smiled and laughed so hard. The pictures were absolutely incredible. Out of 800+ pictures there was not one that we did not like. Chris and Amanda and their son, went above and beyond and we couldn't be happier with the photos. Chris and Amanda both answered every email, call, and text I send them leading up to our big day making both my new husband and I feel completely at ease on the day of. Their professionalism is matched by their strong sense of comfort and laid back mentality, which allows them to set the tone of both expert and comfort in the room - which is something desperately strived for on one’s wedding day. My husband and I aren’t the most comfortable in front of a camera but Chris and Amanda had one request on that day - to “bring it all” to the camera, a task that is not normally easy for us came with a natural ease on our wedding day as you feel like the person cheering you on from behind the camera was a lifelong friend you have known for years, rather than hours. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Chris & Amanda were everything we could have asked for and more for our wedding day! From start to finish, including our engagement session, we could not be happier with them! Chris and Amanda photographed my wedding in April 2023 and WOW was it an absolute joy to work with them! They were very easy to communicate with ahead of the wedding, absolutely understood our vision for the pictures and video from the get-go, were so personable and helpful day of to make us both feel comfortable and not stressed, and the photos came back very quickly. And those photos? I'm OBSESSED! I told them there must be some kind of magic in their camera lenses because my husband and I look like models in the shots. I cannot recommend them enough, any couple or company will feel lucky to have them as their photographer/videographer for their event.

Being a couple who had to deal with the terrible pandemic issues which forced us to postpone our wedding for two years, we waited until the last minute (2.5 months) before our date to book a photographer / videographer. Aside from the venue itself, it was the biggest decision we made by far of all the wedding expenses. After contacting a few, I immediately had 'that great feeling' after speaking with Chris, and it only grew from there! He (and Amanda) are the most patient, understanding, easy-going and well-equipped in dealing with wedding couples we've ever experienced!! Again being so afraid of committing after years of dealing with rescheduling our date, Chris did NOT pressure us whatsoever, answered ALL of our questions/ concerns and ultimately proved it to us on our special day. They put us as ease, knew exactly how to deal with all situations and stayed with us as long as we asked them to! It is too true all couples' wedding day passes by literally in the blink of an eye, then all you have is your photos/videos to remember them by. One of the best memories we have is when our families were gathering outside just before the reception started to take family photos. My husband is one of 10 siblings (along with all significant others and children). It was chaos at best! Amanda, who up until that point, seemed quiet and a bit shy, sprung into action - she got EVERYONE'S attention by announcing (without a mic or megaphone) and organizing who should come stand in the line, then without skipping a beat, continued on to clearly explain who should stay in, who needs to 'get out' (hahaha), capturing every combination (and we never gave them any list of who we wanted photos of)! Afterwards, they admitted that was a first for them ;) It has been less than a month since our wedding, so we haven't received the final product yet, however, they did send us some teasers, which confirmed we certainly made a fantastic choice for us with Chris and Amanda. Having both photo and video with the same vendor seemed like a much better choice, as they obviously know each other well and work perfectly together to create the greatest memories!

Chris and Amanda were AMAZING!! They helped make my wedding day magical! Between their eye for a good shot to being able to manage our crazy groomsmen, we loved working with them. We are already obsessed with our teaser picture and can't wait to see them all!

Chris and Amanda did an amazing job on our wedding day. Our photos turned out beautifully! They made sure to get every shot that we asked them to get and were even able to get a drone photo with all 200 people who attended our wedding. Chris & Amanda we’re absolutely amazing!! Chris and Amanda spoke to us several times before our wedding. Any questions we had, chris took the time to speak to us! He suggested a “first look” and I am so happy we listened. We were able to enjoy our entire wedding day!! From the second they arrived I felt at ease!! They were so nice. They didn’t rush us and took time to get every picture we wanted. They were so accommodating, they knew exactly where to take every picture, they moved from room to room in order to get pictures of me with my bridesmaids and my husband with his guys. If I needed more time, they went to him and vice versa. They knew exactly what they were doing the entire day - everything went so smooth and on time. They stayed until we needed them to. They captured every important part of our day and we couldn’t be happier!! We haven’t seen all our pictures but from the ones we saw, we love!!! We worked with Chris and Amanda for both our engagement photos and wedding photo/video. They were both AMAZING. The wedding video came out perfect and the photos were incredible as well. Apart from the results of the photo/video the way they work together was smooth and efficient. They were timely and helped give us ideas and weren't afraid to give their professional opinion when we needed it. They are honest, hard working and the entire bridal party loved working with them. I'd love to work with them again.

Chris and Amanda are on another level of greatness. They worked with us prior to our wedding (which was supposed to happen in 2020). They made themselves available for a very small COVID wedding, and were very flexible when we needed to move our wedding date...3 TIMES. On actual wedding day, they were so knowledgeable from all their experience at weddings that they helped with so much more than just photography and videography. My wife and I didn't have an exact vision of things we wanted but Chris and Amanda were able to guide us to get shots we didn't even know we wanted, but definitely needed. Chris and Amanda from Memories RI captured the most amazing pictures and videos that my husband and I will cherish for a lifetime. Not only were they the best photographers/videographers, they were amazing people who I loved having by our side all day/night. We had a large wedding party to say the least. and they kept us on schedule and had a great organizational structure throughout the entire day. Their charismatic energy and ideas were just want my husband needed, and we highly recommend them to anyone who is shopping around.

Chris and Amanda were amazing! They were definitely one of our favorite vendors to work with. We first did an engagement shoot with Chris, and we loved how easy going and flexible he was. The day of our wedding, we had so much fun with Chris and Amanda, and really appreciated the fact that they knew exactly what they were doing (since we didn't!) They even helped us with our outfits :) They made the whole process super fun, unique, and suited to us. They even got some pictures of my mother smiling (which is quite a feat). Our photos, highlight, and video are all beautiful and came back in half the time we expected - a friend of mine even commented on how quickly we got everything back. Extra bonus, unexpected feature: drones of our venue!

Choosing Chris and Amanda as our wedding photographers was by far the best choice we could have made. From the first phone conversation and initial coffee meeting, Chris made us feel incredibly comfortable and at ease. He listened to the style of photography we were interested in and helped to cultivate a day of plan. Due to inclement weather, we didn't get to take our engagement photos until a few days before the wedding which actually was awesome because we got a chance to work with Chris and Amanda and feel comfortable with them. Getting married in December, we were working against sunlight. Being super organized, I devised a day of itinerary. They listened to me and on the day of, took complete control. We stuck to the timeline and even ended up finishing before we thought. With Chris, Amanda and Katie's help the day was seamless. Not to mention, Amanda took control of the guys and Chris and Katie took control with us girls. All the while laughing and joking with us. After the church we took family photos and then jumped on the trolley to take bridal party photos. It was 30 degrees out and between all three, I was kept warm with their mittens, sweaters and bear hugs in between shots. The service was over the top from playing DJ on the trolley to helping with boutonnière's, shoe changes and grabbing drinks. The next day we received nothing but compliments and praise for the level of service and fun they brought to our wedding day. If you are looking for quality, service, value and a good time on your wedding day, look no further, these guys are the obvious choice! I would give more stars if I could! Thank you for helping to make our day so magical and giving us a lifetime of memories.

Throughout the planning process, it can be so difficult to choose your vendors, as you have no idea what the outcome will be until the wedding day arrives. I read review after review until my husband and I finally chose Chris & Amanda. Over and over, people referred to being comfortable on their wedding day and having fun with these two throughout the photo sessions. They could not have been more right! Chris and Amanda are so easy to work with and help make the day go so smoothly. I really thought that their fun energy guiding us through our day would be their stand out feature. However, after receiving our photos and our wedding day highlight video, it is clear that these two have it all. We could not be more pleased with the moments they captured and the way they were able to summarize our day in the most magical cinematic way. I don’t even know where to begin. Chris, Amanda, and Jean could not have been any better of a fit for our wedding. It felt like we had close, old friends with us documenting our every move. You can tell they really enjoy what they do. We loved how excited Jean got about each photo she took (my husband now thinks he is a male model) and she did a great job capturing the big and small moments. Amanda was great organizing our absolutely insane family for photos and even made sure I ate something and got me a plate of food which I really appreciated. We had such a great time with Chris and Amanda as our photographers and video team! We always talk about how they were more than just photographers to us. They kept our nerves calm throughout the day and even volunteered their pockets for emergency snacks and lipstick :) These might seem like little things, but they meant the world to us. I was so nervous when planning my wedding and any time I called or texted Chris to ask a question I always felt like I was in such good hands. Chris and Amanda photographed my cousin’s wedding in 2014, and after seeing how their photos came out, we knew we had to have C&A for our wedding. We wanted the photos to look glamorous and not like your average Facebook photo, and that is what exactly what C&A provides. From the couple of teaser photos I have seen so far, I am extremely pleased with how they look! So on talent alone, I would wholeheartedly recommend Chris and Amanda. Better yet, they are really cool people to work with! They really went the extra mile for us – literally driving 2+ hours from Rhode Island to Cape Cod for our wedding during Tropical Storm Jose. On the walk from our bridal suite to the mansion to take photos, Chris held my dress and shielded me from the rain to keep me from getting wet! Later, at my insistence that we get a few outside shots despite the high winds and rain, Chris was really accommodating in making sure we were satisfied with the pictures we were getting. In one memorable moment, I wanted to get a shot of my husband and I outside on the terrace. It was so windy that my veil ended up flying off my head! Chris grabbed it before it flew off the balcony and put it back in perfectly. The Photo Booth was fabulous as well; everyone said they had a great time with it, and the book we got with all of the pictures is hilarious. I can’t wait to see how the real photos come out!

Best photo/video team ever! They made my wedding day so awesome, best vendors we hired, hands down!

Chris and Amanda were fantastic to work with and the pictures are incredible, they really captured the day and as a bride who planned her wedding from 1800 miles away it was so nice to know that we were in such great hands. Chris kept me calm the morning of as the wedding nerves started to creep in and assured me that everything was going to be wonderful, he kept us on schedule and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. They were just a huge part of making our already wonderful day, even more special.

What can I say about Chris and Amanda that hasn’t already been said. They are truly amazing at what they do and we were so fortunate to have them as photographers for our wedding day. Chris helps with the planning process as much as you’d like, providing a detailed day of timeline to work with and makes sure we stay on schedule. He is fun and funny and our bridal party and family absolutely love him. Amanda is sweet, and she is detail oriented. They help with posing and so many other parts of the day. If a piece of hair was out of place, you could count on Chris to have a bobby pin. We loved the photos that came from our day and we truly consider Chris and Amanda to be like family after working with them.

We got married at Aldrich mansion on 10/29 and they were our photographer and videographer. We really wanted to like them from all the positive reviews, but many people were not impressed with the pictures. One photographer sat in our bridal suit on her phone and we all felt like we had to push them to take pictures of us instead of them taking the lead. Many of the pictures came out awkward and the lighting was way off. We ended up using a lot of pictures from our friends' cellphone for our photobook. It was very unfortunate since our wedding was something memorable for us and we wanted to remember it through pictures.

Chris & Amanda were amazing! We had a fantastic time on our wedding day 8/18/17. I have only seen a few pictures so far, but I already felt compelled to write a review because they were so wonderful. They spent extra time prior to the wedding re-scheduling our engagement photos multiple times due to rain, they were so helpful in giving us ideas about timelines and handling the "what ifs," and they make you feel so comfortable. Ironically my husband & I went to high school with both of them. We didn't even realize this before speaking with them, but once we did, that only made us want to hire them even more. I love supporting locally, especially when it comes to great customer service, as this is hard to come by sometimes. I can't say enough about their flexibility and ability to work around the rain on our wedding day. They are fun, professional and both have a passion for photography! Being from Long Island and having a "mini destination wedding" in Newport, Rhode Island we did tons of research for all of our vendors. I looked all over for photographers and videographers and completely relied on reviews and samples. When I first spoke to Chris, I immediately felt comfortable and knew he would be great to work with. Our wedding was May 19th and I have realized that is a complete understatement. There are not enough words to express how grateful we are. Chris and Amanda were the most amazing photographers I have ever worked with. The talent and enthusiasm they have is beyond words. Chris and Amanda were absolutely wonderful to work with. I truly cannot imagine a better team to have had for our big day. We initially spoke to Chris on the phone as we were planning our wedding from 7 hours away, he was so flexible in timing with our busy work schedules. Chris was so comfortable to speak with. He asked us questions about our day, ourselves and what was important to us for our wedding and photography. I mentioned that I was worried about our groomsmen and the photos as some of them could be quite camera shy, Chris’s response was “We slay groomsmen like dragons!” And that completely sold me on the team. The packages were extremely reasonably priced and you absolutely get what you pay for (and more!) with this amazing team. Chris mapped out our day of timeline for us, they both arrived promptly and on time and kept us laughing and at ease the entire day. We had originally decided that we didn’t want to take engagement photos. While visiting my family in Rhode Island, I quickly changed my mind and asked Chris if he could accommodate. Chris was so flexible and took absolutely WONDERFUL engagement photos. The best part of the day was how hard we were laughing because of Chris’s upbeat and awesome spirit! Both Chris, Amanda and their assistant were extremely friendly, easy to work with, comfortable to be around and their work is unbeatable. Chris is high energy while being respectful of the current mood. Amanda was flexible and made everyone feel so comfortable. They were knowledgeable about the area and gave suggestions about great spots for photos. Our entire wedding party commented on how wonderful they were and so did many of our guests!! Amanda, Chris and their assistant had as cracking up the whole day and helped us have an absolute blast. Additionally, the team went above and beyond with helping to coordinate some things during the actual day. It was incredibly hot in our room and I was so uncomfortable. Chris ran to the venue office and the temperature adjusted. He also went around and opened windows to help cool it down. All three members of the team were so much more than our photographers and videographers! They made us feel so special, calmed our nerves and I know took incredibly high quality photos. I’m so grateful to have had this wonderful team of people part of our wedding! We can’t wait to cover our house in their photos and to hopefully keep in touch in the future 

So happy with our decision to use Chris and Amanda for our wedding photos. They made the whole day less stressful and were really fun and up to taking gany creative shots we wanted..Chris was with my bridal party and I before the ceremony, and ended up not only taking pictures, but fixing the girls dresses and keeping everyone calm. And Amanda is so sweet and so creative! Both work great together. They also made all the formals quick and painless. They did our engagement photos as well, which turned out great. I can't wait to see all the beautiful photos from our wedding day!

Your wedding day is ultimately one of the most important days of your life and we all know the expense we incur by having a wedding. Every couple has the conversation about what they are willing to spend extra money on and what they are not. Take it from us...Your pictures are PRICELESS. You will relive your wedding day over and over with great pictures. And when it comes to great pictures, trust Chris and Amanda. On your wedding day, at least one thing is bound to throw off your schedule and if you are anything like me (the bride), you are neurotic about sticking to a schedule. My hair and make-up got an hour and a half behind the morning of my wedding (causing pure panic). Chris kept me calm, consistently reassuring me he would get the family and wedding party pictures done and they would be beautiful. He moved quickly but just as thoroughly. I'm sure he was feeling the stress as well, but never showed it. He and Amanda were able to make up the time we lost that morning and give us wonderful shots. Chris is full of charisma and we appreciated his excellent work as much as the comic relief he provided in the early morning hours when things can be stressful. Amanda is a visionary with an incredibly keen eye. They took advantage of lighting opportunities and unique scenery, even going as far as to set up advanced lighting (which took some time) for snapping unique photos by a mock Fenway Park sign outside of our venue. After talking with many of our friends who already got married, there were mixed feelings on the subject of wedding videos. They are very expensive and when you are already paying for so much, why pay the extra money for a video? We ultimately decided we wanted a video. The night we finally watched our video, we turned to each other after it was done and said, “That was the best money we ever spent.” It was incredible. We used Chris and Amanda for our wedding and they were fantastic! They were so helpful as we planned out the logistics of the day, and on the day of the wedding they were instrumental in keeping everything on track and making sure everything ran smoothly and we stayed on schedule. They went above and beyond the role of photographers, making sure I stayed calm and even helping me with some dress mishaps!! Their packages were also very reasonably priced compared with other photographers we looked into, and they were with us nearly the entire day of the wedding. Within two minutes of meeting Chris and Amanda, we knew they would be a perfect fit for us. We used them for photography, videography and photo booth. They were an absolute blast to work with for our engagement photos - not to mention the pictures were incredible. On the day of the wedding, Chris and Amanda were perfect. They took an assistant who was amazing as well. They came early and got great footage for the video. They were fun, professional and creative. We got a few sneak peeks of pictures they were taking during cocktail hour. I literally cannot wait to see everything when they are done. Their work is incredible, original and refreshingly fun. Chris and Amanda were great to work with from the engagement shoot to the actual wedding day. We decided to take a lot of photos with the bridal party at one of the Newport mansions prior to the ceremony and they were so flexible when it came to all of the planning and coordinating. Chris has a ton of energy and Amanda has some really awesome ideas. These two use some really cool lighting to make the photos really pop and look spectacular. Our goal was to really see our family and friends during the cocktail hour and Chris made it happen because he was so quick to hammer out all the formal family shots. Chris and Amanda brought an assistant along with them and together all three did our videography as well which was really convenient. In the end they put together a short trailer which really is fun to watch and relive the day. We were a pretty relaxed couple leading up to the wedding day and I'd say these two were the perfect fit for us. They were really professional but a lot of fun and made it so easy for us to feel comfortable.

Chris & Amanda were great to work with! They are easy going, fun, and accommodating to the requests of the bridal party. They use 2 photographers throughout the event to capture different angles, which was especially great during the ceremony at the church. We got a lot of beautiful photos from our wedding day! They also have a phenomenal photo booth, which unlike most of the photo booths I researched in the Boston area, is a large open space that can fit more than a dozen people at one time. The photo booth comes stocked with props and takes a filmstrip of 4 photos - one copy for guests to keep and one copy for them to put in a book for the bride a groom. There was a steady line at the photo booth the entire night! Guests loved it!

We loved working with Chris and Amanda. When we met Chris for our engagement photos, we knew we had chosen the right photographer for our wedding. Chris and Amanda have great personalities and are so easy to work with. We got all the pictures we wanted to get done throughout the day and everything went so smoothly. We also did videography with them as well and we are so excited to see the finished products!

Chris and Amanda are absolutely amazing! They are so much fun to work with and the pictures are incredible. They made me (and my groom, bridal party, and family) feel at ease in front of the camera. Chris and Amanda are awesome! We had a great experience working with them during both engagement session and the wedding. They were very easy and fun to work with. They were always very responsive throughout the entire process. Chris and Amanda listened to what we had to say, i.e. what we would like and what we would hate. And they definitely took great notes because we love every picture! My husband is not the best person to work with when it comes to pictures. He hates taking photos. But Chris and Amanda made the both days fun and comfortable. They are very talented. We gave them the general locations and they utilized them perfectly. The spots they picked within these general locations were perfect! Not to mention the price was very reasonable. We definitely recommend Chris and Amanda to other brides!

We came across Chris & Amanda through an online review. From the get go Chris & Amanda were easy to work with. My initial email inquiries were returned within the hour and conversation was like talking to an old friend! They were very accommodating and we met Chris at a local coffee shop shortly after our initial email. Before our meeting was even over we know we wanted to have Chris & Amanda photograph our wedding. Their portfolio was stunning and spoke for itself, they are a truly talented pair. I must have gone back to their website daily to look at the gorgeous photographs and creative cinematography projects!! Having been in contact with Chris & Amanda throughout the process, I never once had to follow up or reach out to Chris with questions because they had already done so. Wedding day arrived and Chris & Amanda only added to the fun! They know how to exactly help make the day flow while keeping your personal "couple" style woven throughout the day. We were able to fit in some traditional wedding photos with family and bridal party as well as some photos specific to us and our venue to make it more personal. You can see in their portfolio how their creativity shines through and you don't often see the same photo twice, if at all. They add energy, professionalism, humor, creativity, style and an overall fun atmosphere to your special day. We had many compliments from our bridal party mentioning how easy Chris & Amanda were to work with, which we couldn't agree more. There were immediate requests for their contact info from others. There promptness in responding was lightening speed and always answered any question(big or small) fully and accurately. From our first meeting, I knew MemoriesRI was the right choice for us. Chris and Amanda have amazing personalities and a joy to be around, clever and innovative photography ideas and suggestions and just overall the BEST Photographers ever! They made us feel super comfortable and were totaly accomidating to any reccomendations or requests we had for the photos. I dont think we had a single guest at our wedding who didn'd have rave reviews for Chris and Amanda as well, and even a few who even asked us for their contact information because they were so impressed. Because of Chris and Amanda we have the most amazing photographs to remind us of our special day. Chris and Amanda are visionaries!! They did our video and photo for our wedding, along with 2 other people. They did not charge any extra for additional people, all were professionally dressed and there to have fun with us!! There were not stiff shots, nothing corny, just real high fashion, fun photos and videos. Our entire wedding party was partying with them, we got great photos, Chris and Amanda both had kick-butt ideas for photos and really make us look like rock/movie stars in the photos. They had a 2 minute teaser video for us w/in a week of the wedding, and the photos are ready 4 weeks after the wedding. They are true professionals, but they make sure you look your best and have the best/most fun time taking the pictures. Quick, efficient, spectacular!

Chris Beck and his wife Amanda are so professional and talented. I am so happy with our photos, they are beyond amazing. Everyone looks stunning and my mob described it best, "I just looked through these and relived the night." Chris and Amanda are funny, quirky, puts you at ease and makes the whole process fun and comfortable. We were so nervous about our engagement shoot and we ended up having a blast because of Chris. Kept good contact from first meeting to day of, was reassuring, and reliable. At the wedding the team was unobtrusive, but the pictures look like they were right there next to us! Check out his videography skills - they are amazing as well - will be calling Chris for a boudoir session for my anniversary next year!
