Chris & Kristy were AMAZING! If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding that will capture every moment of your special day- look no further. We were so pleased with how all of our photos turned out and family members commented on how wonderful they were as well. Chris and Kristy were so easy to work with and helped assure us that despite the rain, our pictures would still turn out beautiful, which they did. Cannot thank them enough, would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

Chris and Kristy were fabulous!! On the day of our wedding, my husband and I felt awkward posing in the beginning and weren't sure what to do. Chris and Kristy told us excactly what to do and made it so much easier and comfortable for us. The pictures turned out AMAZING. We had a beautiful Fall day and the colors really popped. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for photographers.

Chris and Kristy were one of the best decisions we made! We are SO happy with how the pictures came out! They are both are SO talented, everything looks phenomenal! We had so much fun working with them, everything from our engagement session to the wedding day. Chris and Kristy were amazing photographers. I had the unique need of remotely planning my wedding from Hawaii- they were both very accommodating and personable about the long-distance communication and time difference. I also very much appreciated their realistic, honest approach. My husband and I were set on not doing a first look- this, however, created a very tight timeline. They were very honest about the possible limitations, and were champs about getting the shots we requested and working around said timeline. The photos themselves were beautiful. My husband and I were paging through then together on our laptop when the finished product was sent- I couldn’t stop crying, it was so accurate to the feel of the day. They did such a wonderful job capturing moments, not just portraits (although we loved those as well). Thank you for using your talents to capture the most joyful, memorable day of our lives, Chris and Kristy!! Mahalo!

Seriously, don't even bother looking for a better photographer! Chris and Kristy were absolutely fantastic photographers for both our engagement shoot and our wedding! They provided us with a wonderfully put together magazine they made with TONS of information and tips about all things wedding from how to plan your day to tips on looking your best in photos and what shots to get. It was so great to be able to reference it throughout our planning process and it kept up from having to bother them a million times. And bless their hearts, we got married in June and it was almost 100 degrees out and they were such troopers! They were eager to get the perfect shot no matter how long we were out in the heat. We really enjoyed working with them and would recommend them to anyone!

Chris and Kristy were wonderful. We planned our wedding from across the country and Chris and Kristy made the planning for our photographs super easy. We had some last minute changes at our venue and Chris and Kristy saved the day by thinking creatively about where to relocate our ceremony. Their photographs were gorgeous and they captured lovely shots of our entire family. We highly recommend Chris and Kristy!

Chris and Kristy were the most amazing photographers! They are highly recommended to any bride looking for high quality photos. They both made our day extraordinarily special. They captured every smile, laugh, tear and hug throughout our wedding. Despite having 18 people in our bridal party, our pictures went flawlessly. I cannot say as many great things about these photographers. They did both our engagement and wedding photos and we adored them. The pictures were stunning and sent to us in a timely manner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If you're looking for a laid-back-yet-super-detail-oriented-super-sweet pair of photographers - Chris and Kristy Photography is definitely the way to go! They took unbelievably amazing pictures and played such a huge role in contributing to the chill, super happy vibe that was our wedding day. We weren't super picky about anything we wanted for the day and they did an awesome job getting so many wonderful shots. They also have an amazing magazine they created to help you plan - and since I (the bride) didn't have a personal attendant it was really important for me to have everything laid out for the day and I most certainly wouldn't have done it as well without them! They are reasonably priced and produce such high quality work. ALSO we got our pictures back in less than 4 weeks - which is amazing because you get so antsy to get those back after your wedding day - I mean, can't you just relive your day everyday until the end of time?? Well, I guess the answer is yes if pick this amazing pair of photographers! They do provide you with a 90 day window to get your photos back to you, so I suppose not everyone can expect this, but it was a GREAT surprise for us!! The flash drive you get with your pics is amazing/adorable - which was yet another way they showed us how thoughtful they are and that they truly care about the work they are doing and the role they play in one of the biggest/most important days of a couple's life. You'll be so happy/satisfied/ecstatic (any other positive words you can associate with the way you can feel about your wedding pics) if you pick them - and you should!

Chris and Kristy were one of the BEST choices we made for our wedding! From start to finish they were completely amazing! They really made sure to get to know us and what we wanted before our wedding. They also looked at all of the places we were going to be before the wedding which was amazing of them! When our big day finally rolled around they made it so everything went smoothly. We were a little nervous about how the weather would be especially with a winter wedding, but they used the beautiful fog from that day and we could not be happier. We wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend Chris and Kristy Photography for your wedding day. First, the planning phase was easy and actually quite fun; they are very professional and organized. We planned from out of town, but they were flexible and met us when we could visit. On our wedding day, they were friendly and efficient ALL day (and it was a long day!). We got married on NYE in Minneapolis, so it was a LITTLE cold outside, but they made it work and took gorgeous photos outside in the snow. We had friends and family comment about how excellent Chris and Kristy were in that they seemed to be everywhere and nowhere at the same time (taking photos but not interrupting the moment). They captured not only beautiful portraits but also moments of laughter and our personality as a couple, as well as our friends and family. The final product--our wedding photos--we are absolutely THRILLED with them. Would it be too much to get them ALL printed? But seriously, we highly recommend Chris and Kristy and plan to recommend them to everyone we know, so do not wait or hesitate--book them!

We are so happy we chose Chris and Kristy for our wedding photography. All of the photos were beautiful! They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and took tons of awesome candid shots which is exactly what we were looking for. Chris and Kristy were very easy to work with, and great over email/Skype while I was planning my wedding out of state. They did a site visit beforehand, and it showed on the day of that they were prepared. Overall they were incredibly professional and friendly, and their pricing was very reasonable. Our photos were ready very quickly (a few weeks), and they captured everything I wanted about our day in the best light.

Chris and Kristy were amazing! We planned our Minneapolis wedding from Chicago, and they were so great with communication via Skype and email. I felt like we knew them already when we met them for the first time. My family and wedding party LOVED them on the day of the event -- and we obviously did too! Chris and Kristy were amazing! They were professional, yet very fun to work with. They had great ideas to get amazing shots that nobody would have thought of. Kristy and Chris are beyond incredible! From the moment we had our first meeting my husband and I knew we were in great hands. They immediately pin pointed our personalities which clearly came through in their photographs of us. Their technique of getting to know their clients is absolutely impeccable. We couldn't have asked for a better pair to do our engagement and wedding pictures. They are very organized and easy to work with. We couldn't have asked for better photographers than Chris and Kristy. I really enjoyed working with Chris and Kristy. They were relaxed and professional at all times. My bridesmaids were surprised by the quick coaching they gave us on how to hold our heads and bouquets, so that we looked the best in each photo. I absolutely cannot say enough great things about Chris and Kristy Photography (Journey Photography)!!! They shot our engagement photos and our wedding photos and I am so happy with the results! Where to begin! Chris and Kristy Photography was the BEST DECISION we made for the wedding. As fresh out of college grads…our entire wedding was SUPER budget conscious. However, there were two pieces to the wedding I knew would be timeless, my dress and the photos, so we knew we wanted to splurge a little in these areas. As we hunted around for photographers, Chris and Kristy Photography stood MILES above the rest of what we were seeing. If we chose them, we KNEW we wouldn’t have to worry about how the photos turned out…this was the most important piece of how we made our decision. You only get one try at your wedding photographers…and as anyone who has planned a wedding knows, the less stress and worry the better! Every shot on all their portfolio pieces won us over more and more until we decided YES! I want our wedding photos to be amazing and to not worry about it!! That was definitely true! Not only are they extremely professional, timely and FANTASTIC to work with, but they also go above and beyond with their helpfulness during planning, and willingness to try new poses and shot ideas we had. My husband and I were so happy with our photos…every shot was a “WOW…” They are also fantastic with children…we had two flower girls ages 5 and less than 2-years-old and they were able to engage them into the shoot and have fun with it. Their experience with kids photography is a HUGE PLUS for all wedding photography. We loved our time with them and would recommend them to anyone looking—even if they are out of your price range. YOU WON’T REGRET IT! :D

Chris and Kristy go above and beyond your expectations in a photographer. It was so refreshing to see their passion for capturing memories with photography. They had excellent communication through out the planning process and are both so kind. Our photos turned out to be breath taking and provide a wonderful reminder of our love and our wedding day. In all of our communications and meetings they brought a positive energy with a commitment to our happiness. Additionally, they brought a fresh and unique perspective that was catered to us as a couple.

My husband spent hours on the computer researching photographers for our wedding. We ended up booking with Journey and LOVED our time with them! We joked after our wedding that Chris and Kristy felt like good friends right from the start of the day. They had a meeting with us to make sure we got all of our questions answered and then sent us a handbook - complete with a layout for timing pictures. Brides they even send you a little present the week of the wedding! Such a sweet surprise. We were so surprised to receive our photos back three and a half weeks after our wedding. Chris and Kristy were amazing to work with and my husband and I would highly recommend them!

Trust me when I say this: You are lucky if you get to have Kristy and Chris be your engagement or wedding photographer. Or at least, I know my husband and I sure were. From the moment we met Kristy and Chris, we knew we made the right choice. They work incredibly well together and have a knack for capturing unique shots that you might not otherwise think of. Their photos are pure and beautiful with just the right amount of editing. We cannot have asked for a better team to capture our special day! Kristy and Chris were honestly one of the best parts of our wedding! We enjoyed having them there not only as our vendors but as our guests.They were so attentive to our needs and knew exactly what they were doing! They took so many amazing photos and captured all of the important moments! In preparation for the big day they answered all of my questions in depth (there must have been hundreds of emails and texts back and forth) and went through the itinerary step by step to ensure they would get everything right! They even went to all the locations ahead of time to figure out where the best photos could be captured and also so they would know the lay of the land and how to get there (so they wouldn't get lost). My husband and I will definitely be coming back in the future for newborn and family photos!

We used Journey Photography for our engagement photos and for our wedding in June and we couldn't be happier! With all the stresses of planning a wedding, my photography was the easiest by far because of Chris and Kristy. They took the time to come out to my house and see where we wanted to take pictures to make sure we would have the best results as far as lighting ect. In other words, they went above and beyond to make sure everything would go smoothly and produce amazing results. Now, as far as the actual day of the wedding they were the perfect mix of directing us and the bridal party without being bossy or rude, but yet were confident in their vision and direction which was comforting. They had fun ideas for places and poses to get the best pictures. My husband and I are not super creative so it was wonderful to have them there to guide us through the day. At one point when I was getting overwhelmed with running out of time Kristy made sure to come over and let me know everything was going fine and not to worry which was so sweet! In the end the pictures turned out absolutely stunning!!! We love them so much and feel so blessed to be able to relive our wedding day over and over through these incredible, emotion filled pictures. THANK YOU Chris and Kristy for everything.
