I can't say enough about how awesome Chris is. Not only did he capture beautiful images of our wedding, but he helped out in so many ways that we didn't expect. Our wedding felt like organized chaos at times, but Chris was fantastic at helping shepherd our herd through the timing of our photo opportunities and keeping a good flow to the day. He is calm, organized and thoughtful to his clients desires. He's also just an awesome guy to have around! Oh and did I mention his photographs are stunning? If you're wanting authentic, un-choreographed photos that tell the story of your wedding day, then Chris will not disappoint!

We can’t say enough good things about Chris. He was amazing from our first phone call to our wedding day. Not only is he professional and takes fantastic photos, but he is funny and knows how to set people at ease so they are comfortable and can take a nice photo. I still laugh at his instruction for my husband to smell my ear. It’s a nice trick to catch a great photo. He worked with our two dogs for our engagement shoot and was open to new ideas we might have for the type of album we wanted. He also was kind enough to help with pinning corsages on the mothers when we couldn't figure it out and Was a wealth of information on other wedding questions. His pictures are beautiful and really catch the emotion in them. We highly recommend him. Thank you so much Chris!

Chris was supposed to shoot our winter wedding where we snowboarded down in our wedding attire. Unfortunately it rained like crazy the day of, and the mountain was closed. Chris not only agreed to do all of the crazy things we thought up, he was also extremely flexible when things didn't go exactly as planned. While I was getting ready, the men ended up scrambling last minute the day of to set up and clean an area in a small barn used for a ski school, and have a semi-traditional ceremony. Chris was instrumental in helping with this, he helped set up an aisle that was in the right lighting, helped tell everyone when to stand up, and even helped bustle my dress when I didn't have anyone who knew how. He really went above and beyond to make our day look effortless and elegant. The photographs as well came out so astoundingly beautiful, we can't even believe it. He also worked very hard to get them to us quickly, about a two weeks after our wedding. Everyone is complimenting us on how beautiful our photos look. We could not be happier with having chosen Chris to photograph us on our wedding day!

Chris Bennett is the greatest man and photographer that has ever lived. My husband and I were so happy with him that we loved him as much if not more than most of the people in attendance at our June 2018 wedding in Salem, Massachusetts. Chris came recommended by friends of ours whose wedding he shot in May 2016. While reviewing the work on his website, I noticed that he had also shot another friend's wedding, and reached out to her to get her thoughts. She raved about Chris and encouraged me to meet with him. My husband and I met with Chris in July 2017 and booked him shortly thereafter. We just as impressed with his demeanor as we were with his immense talent and professionalism. Chris was immediately responsive to any email or message we sent him during the planning process and even took a two hour train down to Boston to meet with us a few weeks before the wedding because we could not make it up to Portland. Meeting with Chris before the wedding and developing a timeline for the day may have been the single most comforting thing during an intensely frantic time of planning coming together. Chris arrived on time on our wedding day and was (as expected) an incredible combination of organized, efficient, cool, and relaxed. He happily bounced back and forth from the bridesmaids to the groomsmen before the first look depending on our levels of readiness. The vast majority of our photos were done with 45 minutes to spare before the ceremony, which allowed for some lovely downtime for all of us. Immediately after the ceremony, Chris took my husband and I a short distance away to an area he had previously scoped out and took some of our favorite shots within a half hour. We were back in time for our cocktail hour, the entirety of which we were able to enjoy because of Chris' organization. Chris had all of our photos ready within one week, which we loved going through while we were on our honeymoon. Our photographs are breathtaking and that has nothing to do with us and everything to do with Chris Bennett. Guests, strangers, family, and friends who have seen them (as Chris makes the link available to share on social media) have raved about them, remarking on the beautiful composition of each and the obvious skill of the photographer. My husband and I were lucky enough to make a lot of good decisions in the planning of our wedding, and choosing Chris as our photographer may have been the best one.

Chris is an incredibly talented photographer who will bring an artist's eye to your wedding photos. I knew I didn't want the typical posed photos you often see, and Chris really specializes in capturing those beautiful, natural, candid moments that occur throughout your wedding day. He also is a very skilled outdoor photographer and the images he captured of our venue and wedding location on Peaks Island in Maine were some of my favorites. They are truly works of art. He is also an absolute pleasure to work with, highly professional, responsive, and will go above and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly. I especially appreciated that he was willing to meet with us beforehand to talk through logistics in person and understand what we wanted from our pictures. I can't recommend him highly enough!

I could not have been happier that I chose Chris as my photographer. Not only is he an incredibly talented photographer, he has a very relaxed demeanor and knew exactly when to tell us where we needed to be and when to quietly hang in the background letting us enjoy the moment. I was amazed when I got my photos back at how many unique shots he was able to capture of moments I hadn't even noticed at the time! I loved that his focus was on photographing the excitement and emotions of the day, rather than a series of cheesy posed photos. I feel like I can relive how I was feeling that day through my photos. John and I worked with Chris for both our engagement photos and for our wedding photos. We have gotten SO many compliments on out engagement photos. First of all, we described what kind of vibe we wanted and he suggested a great spot for us to have them taken. It fit us perfectly and we got amazing photos by the beach and in the woods. When we were finished with the one spot he brought us to a flower field and by a bridge and we are obsessed with those photos as well!! We were very nervous because we had never gotten professional photos taken before but he made us feel super comfortable. We also had our dog with us who was a very young puppy at the time and he was not distracted at all by our puppy crying and we got some great photos with our pup also! We just got our wedding photos and we are even more obsessed with them. He has such a great eye and the editing of the photos are great. He got awesome shots of the decor, great candids and was great at directing for the formal shots. We had to coordinate a huge family shot and it came out great also! Would definitely recommend Chris- so easy to work with and great results. You can tell he has a passion for what he does!

Chris Bennett is the most talented photographer! I will forever recommend him to every bride, you are so lucky if you are able to snag him for your wedding or any event that's near to your heart! Like most couples, the person capturing the biggest day of your life was the most important piece to our wedding day! We researched photographers and finally decided to book Chris for our September wedding. It was by far the best decision of our lives! Chris has a very unique way of capturing love, emotion and excitement. He met with us a couple weeks before the wedding and was so prepared with questions and suggestions, that it took so much stress off my shoulders. He listened to our thoughts and gave useful advice on how to make a very busy wedding day go smoothly. Without his advice, I'm not sure our wedding would have gone as perfectly as it did. The day of the wedding there was a 10k near our venue, my wedding brain forgot to tell him. I didn't even have to stress, Chris sent me a text with his exact ETA. (He wasn't even late!) His professionalism is top notch and so appreciated! As most brides find their wedding day to be stressful, mine was so relaxing! The second Chris got to the bridal suite, he jumped right into photos, showed me a few and from that moment on I knew everything was going to be perfect! We knew that when the wedding was over, the photos would be the only legacy. We made photography a priority and we're so glad we did! Chris took amazing photos of our wedding. They were natural and captured the beautiful surroundings, and he doesn't rely on Photoshop to get the images perfect- he relies on her skills, training, and experience as a professional photographer. Chris was organized, prompt and so easy to work with. He made us feel so comfortable in a situation that can sometimes be awkward and uncomfortable. There are not enough words to describe what a talented photographer Chris Bennett is. He recently photographed our wedding, and my wife and I and are absolutely thrilled with his work. We had liked his style going in; however, he blew us out of the water. On the day of the wedding, he was the perfect presence. In the photos, he captured details of the day that we hadn't even noticed, from the aspects of wedding planning to the more romantic and emotional aspects of the day. The photo files that Chris sent us are more than we could have hoped for--they captured every moment of the wedding day so beautifully. There were no staged weird pictures or cheesy direction. Nothing ever felt contrived. He made us feel totally comfortable and at ease and relaxed, and it shows in the photographs. Chris was awesome to work with. He is very communicative, friendly (he truly feels like a friend during the process!), and very professional. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, your search starts and ends with Chris. Chris has a very unique vision. His creativity brought our day back to life and we were able to revisit powerful emotions and moments that felt as though they slipped by too quickly through his work. People still comment that they wish they had hired someone more like him when they see the finished product of what he did for us. Chris is such an amazing photographer! We are so happy we used him, his attention to detail and stealing shots that you didnt even know were being taken was wonderful! Loved, loved, loved working with Chris. His attentiveness to detail truly showcased itself throughout my wedding photographs. Personally, I am not fond of your "traditional" wedding photos. Chris' work is far from that. He poses a new, fresh perspective on those "traditional" pictures. Chris was so good, he was there that morning to take pictures of me and my family and friends getting ready before the wedding. Then he left to go to the church and take pictures of the groom and his party while they waited at the church. He got some great shots of the ceremony. He asked for what we wanted of shots of the wedding party. We did a few shots at the church and then more at the reception site. He took pictures but didn't move or but out any family members that wanted to take a picture. He took unique photos that I didn't even think of doing. When we got back from our honeymoon the CD of pictures both edited and low res was waiting for us.
