Chris Curry Wedding Photography

Leaving a negative review is never easy, but I feel it's important to warn other couples about our experience. We hired Chris Curry for photography and videography services after meeting him at the Bridal Extravaganza in fall 2023. Our wedding took place on May 2, 2024. While we were pleased with the photos, which were beautiful and delivered promptly two weeks after the wedding, we've had significant issues with the video services. We learned that our wedding video has been ready for almost four weeks, but the videographer has not been paid by Chris, even though we have paid Chris in full for both services. Despite numerous attempts by both the videographer and myself to reach Chris for an update, we have received no response. Additionally, we discovered from the videographer that another couple, whose wedding was the day after ours, is experiencing the same issue. It's extremely frustrating and disappointing to be left in the dark during such an important time. I hope Chris can provide us with an estimated date for receiving our wedding video and improve his communication moving forward. However, based on our experience, I must caution other couples that Chris has not been reliable in his communication or follow-through.

He is the absolute best. So I found him at a convention and liked his work with interracial couples (myself being in one). Lighting was very important to me, to be able to capture the best of both of us. He did our engagement photos, our wedding day, and our bridal photo session. He does not charge for the time and he also travels to various locations. Trust his process, trust in his directions, because he makes non-photogenic people look amazing! I look at the pictures in amazement and a bit of disbelief because he has a great eye for angles and getting the money shot. My husband and I love working with him, there’s a bit of spontaneity along with a great sense of camaraderie. You will not be disappointed!

Chris was amazing! He did an outstanding job on my daughters wedding. He was so easy to work with and so talented. He is also very fast at getting photos to you. We got ours within 3 days from wedding. I highly recommend him and will continue to refer him to anybody who ask if I know a great photographer.

I KNEW after meeting Crystal at a wedding expo and then looking at Chris's photos on his website that he was THE photographer I wanted to capture our destination wedding in Cabo. Chris has a great vibe, he is super creative and fun and I knew he would be like family. I am so grateful I asked him and he said yes! Our photos are incredible!! He booked his own flight and hotel and photographed our whole weekend wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend Chris for your destination or local wedding - he is THE guy!

Chris shot our wedding ceremony at the Houston Arboretum and our wedding reception at The Continental Club this Spring. All of the photos turned out so beautifully! Chris was able to really capture all the smiles, laughs, and emotions of our big day and I felt like a princess! We loved Chris's artistic eye and ability to capture such cool shots! He even got on stage and sang us a song with the band!!! It was wonderful having Chris capture such an important day for us and giving us these memories to keep for a lifetime. We LOVED our engagement session with Chris! He took us on a mini adventure around Houston and took the most beautiful shots! He was so much fun and had us laughing and smiling the whole time while helping us know where to stand and how to pose. The photos were gorgeous and we have received so many compliments on them! I love to go back through the album and look at each shot. I couldn't possibly pick a favorite! This was such a great experience and really made the days leading up our big day feel so perfect! Hiring Chris was one of the best decisions we made. We hired him for our engagement session, wedding day, mounted print and photo book for our wedding. Our engagement session was more like a life experience, through New York, where we spent the day and then night in different locations doing unique shots - just pure fun with world class photos! For the wedding, Chris and his team took so many great shots, from choreographed pictures to just being present to capture all the events of the night. It really was unlimited hours and they were so attentive. On the basics, Chris is easy to work with, delivered photos on a timely basis (days) and even gave us some sneak pictures to show our friends. Can't say enough good things, the whole experience was a real pleasure and we have lasting stunning memories captured.

Chris is an amazing photographer . He is so willing, to work with you and what you want. I would highly recommend him for any event. He was so understanding and spectacular at our engagement photos. He was spectacular with our poses and the positions to get the right photo. Absolutely spectacular and open to any request or option you have. And don’t get me started on the actual wedding/ceremony.. he absolutely knew when to take a photo and which situation we wanted to be memorialized.. absolutely amazing photographer that I would recommend to anyone !!

We hired Chris Curry a year before the wedding based on his fantastic photos and solid reputation. He is the preferred wedding photographer at our venue Mansion by the Sea and came with the highest recommendation from previous brides & grooms. Our photos turned out beautiful (most important) but I also want to mention that Chris is extremely easy to work with and was very engaging throughout the wedding day.

We had such an amazing experience with Chris and his team. From our engagement photos in Las Vegas to our wedding in Texas, Chris was there to capture all the most beautiful moments! We had assumed we would get a handful of great photos to really show-off, not the case! We are having such a hard time choosing which photos to use for which prints because we have so many! One of the main comments my wife mentioned was that Chris was a photographer that made her feel very comfortable, something she very much appreciated and, I think, can be seen in our pictures. Chris has become our go-to photographer for upcoming shoots and our first recommendation to anyone looking for an amazing photographer for their event!

First let me start off by saying that i don''t normally write reviews. Secondly, if you're looking for photographer you have to book with Chris and Crystal! I met Chris at a wedding expo with Crystal so this review is regarding both of them-when I mention Chris I am also referring to Crystal, she's the videographer. I was bombarded by vendors at the expo, but Chris immediately stood out. He came and greeted me and really took time to speak to me at the expo. While talking, we discussed that my fiancee and I lived apart- I live in Texas and my fiancee lives in New York. Chris immediately lit up and wanted to do our engagement photos in New York City (we found out we were going to be there around the same time). They actually flew out there earlier to meet us because they were meeting a couple approximately 5 days after us. At the expo we arranged for a meeting later that week. Prior to our meeting i caught COVID. I was so upset I couldn't make the meeting, but they were both so understanding. My husband was away on training and they both met with us via Facetime and answered all of our questions. During our meeting he presented us with his packages, showed us his work, and we quickly booked him (and i had done my research)! His portfolio speaks for itself. They were so accommodating on every aspect including working with our budget. They worked an amazing package and an even more amazing payment plan. I couldn't have asked for more since my fiancee and I are paying for our entire wedding on our own. I sent a deposit and he sent me a contract immediately. I was so excited I went to work and told a friend of mine about my vendors that I had booked so far. She literally screamed for me when she found out it was Chris and Crystal. Coincidentally, had booked them for her wedding a year prior during COVID!! She said that he was the BEST photographer and that I was not going to be disappointed! So far I haven't! Upon booking with him , Chris followed up with me in regards to booking new york and finalizing the details of the engagement photo shoot. He sent a detailed itinerary with times and locations. He assisted us with booking hotels and pricing, he did it all. He checked in every step of the way and he was very punctual the day of. He never charged us for any expenses in New York except admission to any areas we wanted to go to for photos. I highly recommend the Vanderbuilt building!!! They even met us for dinner and Chris took us to the BEST restaurant. We have already started planning my bridal shoot for next year! Chris has already sent me options with AMAZING scenery. My wedding in May 2023. If you are going to book anyone you MUST book Chris. He isn't complete without Crystal, her videography skills are OUT OF THIS WORLD. I can't stop raving about this dynamic duo. Book, book, book. More reviews to come as our big day gets closer!

I want to start by saying this review is long overdue. However, I feel I need to get our experience with Chris Curry Photography off my chest to be able to move on. Chris was the first vendor we hired for our wedding which ended up being a learning experience for us. Our venue offered a list of vendors they commonly work with and Chris was highly recommended for photography. Because of that, we jumped at the opportunity to hire him without doing a lot of our own research. Our first mistake was paying him a deposit without getting a contract first. Fast forward to March 2020 when covid hits and we have to make the decision to postpone our May 2020 wedding. We go through the process of having to contact all our vendors and the only person we couldn’t get a hold of, was Chris. After several failed attempts, we decided to contact the manager at our venue to see if they have heard from him. We were told we weren’t the only couple trying to get a hold of him, so they will see what they can do. He finally gets back to us shortly after we had contacted the venue about the situation and we got everything worked out for our new wedding date a year out, May 2021. With all our other vendors we had to have updated contracts so we asked Chris to also send us an updated contract (even though we never got one in the first place). He said he would send one but again we never received one after several attempts of contacting him. Giving me the fear that we have paid him but he may not even show up to our wedding. Thankfully, in the end, he did show up. As for the wedding day, I couldn’t help but feel like he was annoyed to be there. I especially felt it during the family photo part after the ceremony. Prior to our wedding day, I had offered to send him a list of family members names grouped together to make sure we got the groupings we wanted and to make the process easier since I have divorced parents. He said it wasn’t necessary and I reminded myself that he does this all the time so I should trust him. He was getting impatient with my grandparents, which rubbed me the wrong way as well. We received our photos and although there were some good ones, what I wasn’t happy with is in several photos there were editing issues that were missed. Blurs over peoples faces or random eyeballs floating in background above peoples heads. We of course reach out to Chris to see if those photos could be fixed, but once again have to keep following up with him. After 3 attempts throughout July/ Aug 2021, he responds saying he has been buried with work and some family matters he’s wrapping up that week and once those are over he will put his full attention to the photos and see what can be done. Understandable, so I give him some time but never hear from him. I contact him again 3 times throughout Nov/Dec 2021 and nothing. I decided to give one last attempt and contacted him twice in April 2022, which is almost a year from when our wedding took place and still nothing to this day. Also, not that this is the biggest deal out of all of this, but he also spelled my name wrong in the downloadable link to our photos. Again, not a big deal but just shows his attention to detail. Basically this long winded review is to say I would not recommend Chris Curry to any future couples looking for wedding photography. I know working with brides is probably not always the best experience for vendors but it doesn’t help when there is a lack of communication from the vendor himself.

Chris has been such a blessing for our whole wedding process! We initially hired him for our small intimate wedding in Dec 2020 , but 3 days before the event, we had to cancel due to the groom testing positive for covid! He was extremely understanding and agreed to reschedule with us. Despite our 2nd wedding attempt being 4X larger, he was just as accommodating as the first time around. Chris had no problem traveling to meet with us to discuss shot pics, and even sneak peek at our choreographed 1st dance to plan ahead for the money shots! As the bride, his reassuring words of advice gave me peace of mind that our special day was going to be great! We're so glad we found him, and hope to book him again for other events down the road!

Quit looking at other photographers - you've found THE ONE! Chris is that guy that you just feel comfortable with right away. He is the definition of professional. His photography is incredible. His services are top of the line. Even when our wedding venue fell through and we felt defeated - Chris pulled through! From our first phone conversation to the day we met with him, it was a breeze. He keeps momentum going and captures all the best moments of your perfect day! I couldn't imagine having anyone else for our special day. Thank you, Chris, for going above and beyond! p.s. Chris is an amazing person to work with and I had the best experience using him for my engagements. He is very professional and has a real creative flare, which was exactly what I was looking for. Chris Curry Wedding Photography is amazing! My husband and I did a vow renewal at the Mansion by the Sea in Aransas Pass, Texas on 06/12/2019 and they did an INCREDIBLE job! Our pictures were absolutely incredible! The special "moments" were pictured beautifully and attention to detail were beyond perfect. Yall....this guy is AMAZING!! He was there from the start of the day until we left the venue. He was super patient with us, even when we got behind schedule. He captured moments that I didn't even know happened until I saw the pictures. I didn't drop one tear at my wedding, but when I saw the pictures I cried. They were so beautiful and better than I could have possibly imagined. He is truly an awesome photographer!!

Chris was our photographer for our wedding and engagement photos about a year and a half ago. He was truly amazing! My husband and I are not “natural” when it comes to pictures but he knew exactly how to direct the photos during the engagement and how to make us feel comfortable. Unfortunately, we had to change our venue 2 weeks before the wedding due to hurricane damage to our original venue. However, he was very understanding and without being asked he took a day out of his own time to visit and become familiar with the new venue. The day of the wedding he was there from the moment we were getting ready to the very end of the wedding. During the entire wedding he was “invisible.” He was never blocking the view and never calling attention to himself and he still was able to take amazing pictures throughout the entire wedding! Another great thing is that he provides you with ALL the pictures he took throughout the wedding and makes it easier on one to share them with others. If you are looking for a photographer, I highly recommend Chris! He will go out of his way for your special day and will capture memories that will last a lifetime.

Mr. Curry goes above and beyond to deliver beautiful wedding portraits! From the first meeting, he was very professional. He met with us to show us what he could offer and to allow us to view previous work. His background in photojournalism offers so much to telling the love story on the wedding day. He even showed up at rehearsal to scout out the venue as to the best positioning for beautiful photos. I cannot say enough thank yous to Mr. Curry for capturing my daughter's wedding day perfectly! True quality and professional work!

When you are planning your wedding one of the first thoughts that come to you is. “who is going to be our photographer on our big day” I’ll tell you what, thinking that your cousin Susie or your uncle John has a Nikon and a passion for taking pictures should not be your first consideration. In today’s world it’s pretty common to get what you pay for in theory. Don’t skip out cheap on your photographer! We have all seen those pictures of our friends wedding who had their cousin Susie taking pictures. DONT BE THAT COUPLE! These are pictures you want to have to reflect on the rest of your life and even pass down to your next generation. When we found Chris and discussed our wedding plans in person it was obvious he has a passion for photography and for promising a memorible wedding album of wonderful photo’s. Chris’s photo albums were very impressive and his experience at Mansion by the Sea was confidence we had the right photographer. Chris makes you feel at ease on your big day, imagine having your own personal photographer all day. His humble and respectful attitude makes you feel like family, he can take any moment and capture it as if you where reliving that moment in his photo’s. You won’t just get a album of pictures you will get a album of moments that are real and not a fake “ok, smile for the camera moment”. Chris is the best and he over exceeded our expectations by providing a 900 picture album online to share with everyone. Not a single picture was bad or not worth keeping. His professional work shows in his photography. If it was in our budget we seriously would have taken him with us on our honeymoon. He is fun to be around and a great guy. Chris is absolutely AMAZING! From our engagement photos to our wedding photos we were not disappointed! When we did our engagement photos it was on the beach and extremely windy and misqituos were terrible Chris’s legs were covered in misitqutos but he was so dedicated it never fazed him he made sure he got every good shot possible before the sun went down and wow the photos came out amazing I had everyone texting me asking who did our photos! Then when it came down to our wedding.. again it was cold wet and windy and all I could think about was how horrible the photos were going to look because the wind was so bad I thought about it the whole time we were taking photos.. my hair was in my face I was frustrated and upset. Shortly after Chris sent the photos and the second I opened them I was blown away! Out of alllll the photos not one looked like it was cold wet or windy it’s was incredible! I still can’t stop looking at them. Photos are literally the only thing you have left after the wedding to look back on and when I look at the photos I relive that night every single time! He captured EVERYTHING that night and for that I am so greatful because it was the best night of our lives! Oh I also can’t forget about how many people freaked out that Chris got in the freezing water in waiters to take pictures of the ceremony.. that’s dedication!

Very professional, very pleasant to work with! Chris met with us before the wedding to see what we want and help us with the schedule for the day. He had gone look at the venue before the wedding, and also was there at rehearsal. The photos turned out amazing, I was so pleased with his work that I had used him again for my maternity shoot and family photos!

He also had great ideas and suggestions to help us out when we weren't sure what we wanted or what the options were. Are used Chris Curry wedding photography for a family photo shoot. Chris was amazing! He took my family to multiple locations and was able to capture beautiful photographs of me and my children. Is there a way to give a million stars? Chris is the most amazing photographer ever. He shot not only my wedding, but he did my engagements and my bridal shoot (super duper FUN by the way, we did my bridals in !!!) I could not love this guy more...My hubby and I were comfortable with him from the moment we met him and had we the best time in front of the camera! Being photographed by Chris had us glowing for days! And the pictures...let me tell you that they are of the greatest quality and the best images we have ever had taken of us. HIRE HIM! Chris was absolutely the best and we could not have asked for anyone better! Living in the UK I’m very familiar with all the places in Europe. I decided to go with Chris because I loved his style, but I didn’t think he knew Paris because he’s an American boy. Well, he had our whole session mapped out because he did a test run before he met with his. It turns out he knew Paris even better than I did! We started at the base of the Eiffel Tower and then we moved across where he made pictures of us near the fountain. He even asked everyone there having lunch if they wouldn’t mind moving for a minute so he could get a photo of us running up a hill with the Eiffel Tower in the background. I love this picture so much and get loads of compliments on it. I have never seen another picture like it. After that he took us on the metro and we hit beautiful spots all over the city. We visited the Louve, some spots in Mantmartre and the rooftop of the Sacre Coeur. This trip was so worth it and I’m so glad I did it. You should definitely hire Chris. He will amaze you with what he sees and you won’t be able to imagine having anyone else at your wedding.

If you are looking for a photographer, your search is over! Chris was our wedding photographer and we couldn’t have been happier. At one point in our planning, we considered having a destination wedding and Chris was more than happy to travel with us! We didn’t have a list of must-have shots on the wedding day, but Chris was full of ideas and took awesome candids along with a few posed ones. Chris is creative and daring, which are two traits that we appreciated. A great photographer captures moments that you didn’t even know you wanted, which is exactly what Chris does! He also got our digital proofs to us quickly! In our experience, the wedding speeds by, so photos are imperative to help you keep those beautiful memories. If you hire Chris, you will not be disappointed!

Let me begin by saying that Chris really listens to his clients (my best friend also had him photograph her wedding). He gave us exactly what we were looking for in our photos and our overall experience. I am all about living in the moment while spending time with my friends and family. Chris was beyond respectful of this. After the ceremony, he did his thing taking our portraits, family, bridal party, etc. and then we were on to the party! This was just as I had requested and of great significance to me. Chris was present throughout the entire day, taking photos, offering guidance when needed. In the end, the photos turned out to be breath taking. I always say our wedding photos could grace the cover of a magazine. They’re literally my favorite photos to look back at. I can relive the happiness of that day through the amazing images taken by Chris. I am forever thankful that I went with Chris Curry for my wedding and engagement photos! Chris is the best photographer EVER! My husband and I fell in love with his work and when we met him we both realized we found the right person to capture our wedding. I’ve contacted Chris via email, text and phone with questions about our wedding day, trying to make sure we get all the shots I wanted. I felt so bad of constantly changing things around (mishaps, etc) but he was so understanding and patient with me by simply letting me know that it’s okay and lightening up the mood. Chris has continuously shown outstanding professionalism and on the day of my wedding, even though I was running a late he made it work to where we got all the family shots we wanted as well as absolutely gorgeous portraits of us! My husband and I are blown away with all of the wedding photos and we love our engagements we did earlier this year. I must also mention Chris' assistant (she was all smiles and very kind) came prepared with blankets to warm us up in between shoots because it was so cold that day. Everything from the first interactions to the actual day of the wedding (and receiving the photos in a timely manner) are very much appreciated. Thank yous to the moon and back!!!

Chris has given me the greatest gist I have ever been given. I loved everything about the photos. His skills and meticulous attention to detail made for exquisitely phenomenal images, not to mention the experience was so incredible, I truly felt like a star (I am a shy, soft spoken person, so this was huge for me!). After our bridal session I was literally glowing for days. Then he sent me the pictures. I have never felt so beautiful in all of my life. I have truly had a life changing experience, and have learned to view myself in such a wonderful way. How can I say thank you for that? We were so honored to have Chris shoot our wedding. Chris arrived early to look over our venue at Twisted Ranch. He came prepared and made us feel at ease. I saw his portfolio and I was thinking, how on earth is he going to make photos of us like he has on his website. But my worries faded away as he started working. While we were getting ready I didn't even notice him, but seeing the results were absolutely breathtaking. The ceremony was very cramped and hard to get around in but Chris managed and gave us multiple angles. My family is a bit difficult to coral but Chris took charge with no problem at all. Afterwards he gave us so many options for portraits and we explored the ranch and came up with some beautiful pictures. I could go on, but trust me, you will be so happy with the results. Our wedding was in May 2018. We had our wedding at Mansion by the Sea. Chris showed up at about 11 when the bridal party arrived and stay throughout the entire night. He didn’t bother us in the bridal suite but came in a few different times to get photos. We were so happy with our photos and are printing them all off and putting them in our home. Chris was very reasonable in price & he was better than we could’ve imagined. My favorite part was when he was carrying around scissors so I could cut my dress when it was tearing from people stepping on it. He’d just keep handing me the scissors when he noticed it was bothering me!! My only regret is not hiring a videographer as well!

We hired Chris from our wedding planner at Mansion by the Sea, she had only great, amazing things to say about him and past weddings he did were beautiful we hired him right away! We were so glad we did because we were completely in love with our wedding photos! He took amazing shots and really captured every beautiful moment we had! So great to work with and made sure each photo taken was perfect! He is an amazing photographer!

I'm so glad I found Chris at the Bridal Extravaganza! Chris has a different style than most wedding photographers and that's one of the many reasons we chose him; we didn't want the same posed photos every couple has already taken. He had great ideas for our engagement photos and our wedding photos turned out AMAZING. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer!

Chris was awesome! He travelled to Scotland with us to photograph our wedding and spent 3 days on the road with us scouting photo locations and shooting. He is such a great sport, he does whatever it takes to get the shot, including swimming in freezing cold underground rivers holding his camera and lights above his head!! You could not go wrong choosing him as your photographer! He then photographed our reception 7 months later and again, went out of his way to ensure he scouted the best spots for photos and was very thorough and professional. Hire him! You will be glad you did!

Chris did both our engagement and wedding photos, all of which were beautiful and unique! We really enjoyed working with him and feel that he was able to capture the best moments of our wedding. We have several blown up versions hanging in our house, absolutely stunning work!! Thanks again for all of you help Chris, we will treasure these photos forever!

Chris did our engagement photos, bridal shoots, and wedding. I loved his work because he seemed like an actual artist, and not just doing the kitschy type of photographic that is currently "in" in the wedding world. He has a unique style and eye that I appreciated. His photos did not disappoint, and I was overall very pleased with what I received. I feel like I got a great deal, honestly. Some tips for working with him though, he does not give very good direction with head position, mouth position, etc. so if you are prone to unphotogenic faces, be sure to check the came roll to see while you shoot. He will let you. I'm not saying he doesn't direct how you position yourself as a whole, because he does, but I am very good at making very sour faces and sticking out my chin in weird ways. I wish in my engagement photos I had checked the roll sooner. Also, be clear about what you want. I'm not the best communicator, and there were some photos I wanted that just didn't get taken - like pics of favors, a memory wall, or specific family members. Most of that was my mom not telling my family members to stay and us just getting caught up and not communicating that. Anyway, on the whole I am very please with how it turned out. We have hundreds of beautiful photos - too many great ones to know what to do with - and if I could go back I would choose him again and would definitely recommend him to my friends for future use. If I could change anything, it would just have been to be more organized and more clear on what I wanted when - which you should do with whatever photographer you use.

Chris Curry was our photographer at our wedding 5 weeks ago and we could not be more happy that we chose him to capture the memories from our special day. Throughout the entire process, Chris went above and beyond what I even expected from a wedding photographer and repeatedly demonstrated his investment in capturing our "story" as a couple. Chris, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did for us - we love the photos you took and have received so many compliments on them from the family and friends we have shared them with. To anyone considering Chris as their wedding photographer, I'd like to share the following anecdotes with you. This is an incredibly long review because there were so many instances where Chris demonstrated his passion for his work and for making his clients happy: Planning: - During our initial meeting, he arranged for us to meet at our reception venue so he could get a 'feel' of the environment and hear all about our day - The ceremony/mass and reception were at different locations, and Chris took time on a Friday to meet me at the chapel where the ceremony would take place so he could scope out different spots for pictures.(Note: This was done early on - about 6 months before the wedding was even set to take place) - Chris was incredibly receptive to what we wanted captured and we ended up with shots of all the special moments throughout the day Engagement Photos: - We wanted to do a downtown shoot, as well as take some photos at a restaurant that had special meaning to us as a couple. Chris not only has good knowledge of downtown Houston, but he also contacted the restaurant and got special permission for us to take photos there during the engagement session. - On the day of the session, Chris was really prepared and had the itinerary down, took care of parking and all the logistics, which allowed us to just have fun. Bridal Photos: - For my bridal session, I wanted to take advantage of bluebonnet season here in Texas. This year was not a great year for bluebonnet bloomings/sightings, but as soon as I relayed this to Chris, he was committed to making it happen it for me. While I spent most of the early part of the day getting my hair and makeup done for the portraits, Chris drove out to the hill country way ahead of me and my mom so that he could scope out the best spots for the flowers. Wedding Day: - On the night before the wedding, Chris came to our rehearsal at the chapel to familiarize himself again with the setup and also understand any rules about where he could/could not stand to take pictures during the mass. He also got to meet some of our guests at the rehearsal dinner, which was great as it made everyone more comfortable the next day. - On the day of the wedding, Chris was there pretty much from the moment I started getting ready until the very last song at the reception. He captured everything from the details, to the getting ready, to the ride over to the chapel from the hotel, to formal portraits, to fun pictures - he even stole us away for a few minutes during the reception and captured some really beautiful pictures outside once darkness had fallen. Chris will go above and beyond for his clients - Chris, if you are reading this, we cannot thank you enough, for everything you did for us during the entire year leading up to our wedding and we would love to have another chance to work with you!

Chris Curry is an amazing photographer! We are so happy we chose him to photograph our engagements and wedding photos! They all came out absolutely perfect. He captured every moment at our wedding and now looking back at the beautiful album he made we are able to relive that day any time we want to. Chris Curry is a great, professional, and talented wedding photographer who really went above and beyond what we expected on our wedding day! First off, he was punctual (even though we were a few minutes late) and had a clear idea of what needed to be done and when. He was unintrusive during the actual wedding ceremony; I didn't notice him taking pictures at all. Afterwards, we went to Galveston where he suggested that we take pictures on the steps of the San Luis and by the beach. Even though the sun was punishing and we were all sweating buckets, it doesn't show in the pictures and the location was perfect. He stayed until the end of the night, even scouting out the hotel where the reception was and found that they had a rooftop bar where we ended up taking pictures in the fading daylight. All in all, he's patient, thorough, flexible, and knows the Houston area like the back of his hand: everything you'd want from your photographer on a day when you already have so many other things to think about and manage! We got our pictures back promptly and our friends and family love them. Would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

Chris did an absolute amazing job for my engagement pictures! from the hours he put in, all the different locations, outfit changes and not to mention in the scorching heat he was very professional, very hard working and did an awesome job. We received our pictures not even a week later. The pictures are truly amazing and we are having a hard time picking out "the one" that we will display at our wedding because they are all just amazing. I've know Chris since High School. I was there when he decided that he wanted to be a world renowned photojournalist. He left and traveled the world and has been in Time Magazine, New York Times and so many other respected publications. So, when I was ready to get married Chris was my first choice. he had just moved back to Houston and had started his own wedding photography company. I was not disappointed at all. Chris suggested doing our engagement session at a carnival at night using the the lights on all of the rides to streak past us. It was such a fun session. We also made some photos at the water wall at The Galleria. We had so many pictures to choose from that we had an entire gallery at our reception. One week before the wedding he met with my husband to go over photo ideas at Hotel Sorella so that on our wedding day we would have an itinerary that would give us lots of photos and get us to the reception on time. We got so many fun photos with the bridal party and then with just us. When we arrived at the reception Chris had a whole team there to capture every moment. Not only did we have great photos of our family, but Chris made sure to capture all of our friends. Two weeks after the wedding Chris met up with us a my mother and father's house and we relived all of the photos in a slide show on our big screen. They all loved Chris. He could not have done a better job. We're so pleased and I'm so happy for Chris that I had to write this review. You don't need to be his high school friend for him to a wonderful job at your wedding. I've seen amazing pictures he's made in just a short time here back in Houston. Our house is full of his work now. I can't imagine having gone with anyone else.

My mother and I met Chris at the bridal show downtown. His albums were gorgeous and the photos in them were even more amazing. During our engagements Chris absolutely delivered. They came out even better than we were expecting. At the wedding Chris was nothing short of amazing. Incredibly organized and had a plan for everything. Our guests, family and other vendors really enjoyed working with him. We received the photos less than two weeks later. And wow! We had over 1,000 photos. He captured my Dad and I the way I never thought possible. I am so lucky to have found Chris. I don't think anyone else would have even come close to capturing our wedding and engagements the way he did. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding. He was our favorite vendor, by far.

My husband and I liked Chris from the time we met him at a bridal show and I am so glad we chose to work with him. I cannot stress enough how personalized he makes his pictures and how seriously he takes his work. He really captures the essence of the bride and groom during engagements, the bride during bridal portraits and the entire wedding day. His turnaround is super fast and the pictures are just beautiful! He and his team are also a super calming and friendly force on the stressful wedding day - Chris is the absolute best!

All I have to say about Chris is that he is AMAZING!!! He is actually my favorite vendor from them all at my wedding! I can't even tell you how happy I am with my photos, it has been hard to chose the best ones to give to my family, there are so many and all of them are beautiful!
