They were so polite to all the guests asking them for photos, and never intruded on the wedding festivities. We had an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, and all the photos were amazing. I can’t say enough good things about Chris, Erin and the entire team. The memories they gave us through our wedding pictures will last a lifetime, and I can’t thank them enough for being a part of my big day!

a photographer, a friend had suggested Chris Jorda to us. After looking at his pictures and having one brief conversation with him I asked him to send over the contract. My husband and I wanted to make sure we didn't end up with 800 pictures of us and the bridal party; we have a fine appreciation of candid photos and wanted to make sure everyone at our wedding was involved. After booking Chris and leading up to the big day, Chris was always available to answer any questions that I had and to meet with him. He was also so accommodating and professional. We were both very comfortable and relaxed with Chris and it definitely came across in the pictures. My husband actually said "oh, the pictures are done already?" short, we believe Chris Jorda to be a capable photographer and we are happy with the photos we received. However, we believe his customer service and professionalism to be sub-par, and at times we were furious with our experience with him. We cannot recommend him to any couple looking for a photographer. If you do choose to have Chris Jorda Photography for your wedding, we have two pieces of advice based on our experience: 1. Be persistent when you contact him by e-mail or phone, ESPECIALLY after you've paid him in full. Up until he received his full payment, Chris Jorda was very responsive to our e-mails. However, once Chris Jorda received his full payment, we noticed that his responsiveness to calls and e-mails dropped significantly; in multiple cases he never responded at all, and other times it required multiple e-mails for him to respond. 2. Discuss possible additional charges during your meetings with him, especially if you won't be living near Millburn after your wedding. He demanded that we pay to have our wedding album delivered the day he planned to send it out, sixteen months after our wedding and after having shipped our proofs and CD free of charge. He never mentioned additional charges when we met with him to discuss the design of the album; in fact, he boasted about his special deal with FedEx. To summarize, we believe that there are many other photographers who can take pictures as well as Chris Jorda, but will provide excellent customer service before and after they get paid.

) Although my now husband and I took a little under 2 years to plan our big day, Chris and David worked with us every step of the way and were always in communication with us making sure we were comfortable. Our package included an engagement photo session and David made it so fun for us! My husband hates taking pictures to begin with and upon leaving the shoot he was actually excited for him to work with us on the day of our wedding. We recently received our final proofs from the wedding and I cannot wait to show them to our friends and family. The day was such a whirlwind for us and Chris' studio managed to capture every little important moment. I am big fan of candid, black and white shots and they nailed it! Their photojournalistic style real shows in the final proofs. If you are looking for a unique style and twist to wedding photography with all the traditional ingredients, hire Chris’ studio!

me at my wedding. A friend of a friend recommended Chris Jorda's studio. He was the only photographer I met with because I was simply so impressed. With my professional background, I was definitely demanding and not easy to please, but they delivered on every account. I wanted the photos to be fun, touching and, most importantly, tell a story in a journalistic, classic fashion. We met with Chris and he just "got" what we wanted instantly. He was already booked, but Dave, a photographer that worked with his studio was excellent! Dave came into NYC to do our engagement shoot and was just so relaxing, so much fun and helped us get used to what it would be like to be the subjects of the photos. When the wedding day came, I requested an additional shooter last minute and Chris agreed it was a excellent add and looped in YET ANOTHER fantastic photographer - we called him Fast Phil. He was everywhere! Even my father commented that he loved how the photographers were "right where you wanted them to be when something fun was happening on the dance floor." I knew the photos were going to be awesome - but when I saw them - I really couldn't believe my eyes. Everyone looked incredible. The met my standards and took it all to another level. Dave paid attention and shot all the right people capturing just enough of everyone. He got so many amazing ones of my husband and I dancing and having fun which I loved. What could be better than that!! He captured all the moments in a way where they are "living" - not still and stale, if you know what i mean. Of course, he also got amazing posed photos. I got all 900 photos in less than 2 months and a really sentimental 2 minute long slide show that I could share that will forever bring this day to life for us. My husband and I could not get enough of Chris and Dave. They listened, they cared, they calmed me down - they could not have been better. The pictures speak for themselves. I felt as if my husband and I and our families and friends could just enjoy our wedding day and never had a moment interrupted due to the photography. Chris still served as our point-person and always answered emails/texts/questions promptly and politely. True to their word, a few weeks after our wedding, a photo slideshow set to music was ready on their website (password protected) so we could get a preview of the photos and share it with our family and friends. The slideshow turned out so amazing, that even 8 months after our wedding, I am still watching the slideshow weekly, amazed at the beautiful pictures David took. In fact, we still have not chosen any of our wedding album pictures because it will be hard to narrow down all of the beautiful proofs into an an album. I would recommend Chris Jorda (and any of his photographers) to any couple looking for a great photographer who will capture the special memories of your wedding day in such a beautiful way. I had a blast getting to know Chris and David and have them shoot our wedding!

This might not seem like the biggest deal, but in the craziness of a wedding day, it's awesome to have someone with a chill attitude and great sense of humor to keep everyone happy and smiling when they need to be. --He makes the whole process really easy and pleasant, which is a blessing. --He's got a great eye and a really creative streak, where he makes great photos happen. I knew I wanted a lot of photojournalistic shots, where he just captures the moment, but I was surprised how much I loved the shots he set up. They're some of my favorites. Honestly, I could go on .... we were amazingly happy with our beautiful photos, and just tremendously enjoyed the whole experience of working with him.
