Working with Chris Jorda and Erin was such a great experience! They were so professional and calm, and made the wedding day photography such an easy and seamless time for us. They easily adapted to a new environment and venue, and took the most beautiful photos. they made it fun and easy for us throughout the night and we are so happy to have amazing photo memories of our special day!

This past October, we had Chris shoot our wedding at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club. We knew right away that we wanted him to be our photographer, since his company shot my sister’s wedding last year at the Ryland Inn. From the start, Chris was so accommodating in helping up choose the right package. The one we went with included an engagement shoot, which we decided to do in NYC (where we live). The day we picked ended up being a HORRIBLE snowstorm. Chris was so flexible, though, changing his plans to come in the following day once the weather cleared up. We went all around the city, from the High Line to Central Park to Lincoln Center. It was such a fun day... Chris helped guide us to get the best shots! Leading up to the wedding, Chris made sure to check in & understand what we wanted. And he gave us exactly that! He captured everything we had on our ‘wish list’ from family shots, to bubbles outside the church and even the late-night sparklers. I can’t wait to get our final photos – if they’re anything like the teasers/blog post, I know they’re going to be AMAZING! It really was such a pleasure working with Chris. His team is so professional & fun! I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer!

We had Chris and Erin shoot our wedding in June 2019 and they were completely awesome. My husband and I are not big picture people so were definitely nervous about having the camera around us all day but Chris made us feel so comfortable. We had an engagement shoot with him which helped us get to know his style a little more and found that it fit great with ours. The pictures are absolutely beautiful and we received ours a little after a month from our wedding day which we were thrilled with. We also got a few previews in the immediate days following our wedding and a blog post between so we never felt like we were waiting to see new pictures. Chris and Erin were very easy going. We did a first look and had all our pictures taken before the ceremony which was exactly what we hoped for. After our ceremony, we had a few group shots with our friends but Chris and Erin really blended into our crowd which was awesome. Overall, they were great and I would highly recommend them!

I can't say enough about how amazing Chris Jorda Photography is! Not only are they wildly talented at their art, they are simply great people. They made the whole experience seamless and stress free from beginning to end. Chris Jorda Photography was the first and only photographer that we met with and we knew immediately that we wanted to work with them. Erin and Phil couldn't have been better! The number one thing we were worried about was being overwhelmed on the day of with too many photos, but Erin and Phil made us feel very comfortable and it was so easy to work with them. We met with Chris a little over a year out from our wedding and he was the first and only photographer we met with! After spending time talking to Chris we pretty much knew instantly that we wanted him photographing our wedding. He is such a warm presence and so chill that even our bridesmaids and groomsmen are raving about him! Everything leading up to our wedding day was so easy to plan. We got our first taste of Chris’ relaxed style when we did an engagement shoot with him. Right then we knew we made the right choice with Chris. Chris was the first vendor we met with (even before venues) because just seeing his work online I knew I wanted his team. They give you the comfort of a small shop but the work of amazing photographers. Our lead photographer was Erin Dwyer and I honestly can't say enough good things about her. I felt like I had such a good connection with her, she made me feel like she was just another friend at our wedding. We only saw our teasers so far and shot after shot was amazing. The team really understands how important your big day is and they make sure to capture every moment. I would recommend them to everyone!! I hope to get to work with them again in the future.

The bride gets migraines from flashing lights, so we worked hard to find a photographer who could minimize camera flashes for our wedding. In advance of the wedding, Chris Jorda and Erin Dwyer (our lead photographer) warned us that depending on lighting at the venue, they would likely still need to use some flashes but would try to bounce light off walls and the ceiling rather than flashing directly in our faces. On our wedding day, Erin and her assistant Phil went above and beyond for us: they worked with us to take formal photos outside or under skylights, and they worked with the venue to adjust light levels so that they didn't use a single camera flash the whole time. They also made the formal photos, especially the family photos during the cocktail hour, so quick and painless that our guests commented and were pleasantly surprised. Erin and Phil were also very sweet in person, helping us to make sure we got all the photos we hadn't thought of but definitely did want. They were unobtrusive during the wedding and seemed to have a sixth sense for what people around them were doing that would make for good pictures. They sent us a few 'teaser' pictures a couple days after the wedding, which are lovely--we are looking forward to seeing the rest! We would wholeheartedly recommend Erin Dwyer and Chris Jorda Photography!

My husband and I interviewed and looked through approximately a dozen photographers. Nobody made us as comfortable as CJP did! Chris was kind and relatable off the bat. He didn't have specifics or ideas he wanted to sell you. He let us take our time in the decision making process, and didn't rush us by telling us that he's booking up fast - even though we knew her was!! We really like all of his photographers' styles, but we particularly leaned toward Erin's because it was classic mixed with candid, which gave off a beautiful and intimate feel. Now that we have a handmade wooden box of approximately 800 proofs, we couldn't be happier! I would definitely recommend CJP for your big day. You won't regret it! And if you need a videographer as well, he referred a wonderful one to us.

Chris and Erin made the perfect photography team for our wedding day! It was very important to my husband & me to have two photographers, as we were getting ready in separate locations and wanted to document both. Chris helped us to work out all of the logistics from wedding day prep through the reception, and we couldn't be happier with the results. There were so many details of the day that slipped by in a blur, and the fact that Chris documented all of them for us without us even having to ask was incredible. The proof box is an amazing touch, and something that few other photographers I know of provide. We loved getting the box in the mail and reliving every detail of our wedding day!

Chris and his team photographed my wedding in August and they are the best! They are professional, knowledgeable, creative, and friendly. Most importantly, the pictures came out beautifully! Chris gave us great advice on how to plan out the day – from the first look photos, to the large family shots, to the late night evening shots under the moon. They were so polite to all the guests asking them for photos, and never intruded on the wedding festivities. We had an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, and all the photos were amazing. Chris Jorda and his team are so talented and the friendliest photography team to work with! He made my husband and I feel comfortable and not cheesy at all, which is exactly what we were hoping for. Phil and Robert shot our wedding and were so professional and accommodating! We got married almost a month ago and was able to get a preview of one of our wedding shots within 24 hours! Chris was the 94th photographer that I looked at, and he was completely worth the search! I have a terrible fake smile and wanted a photographer who could capture the genuine emotions in the moment, and get the shot from the right location. He nailed it! The best part about working with Chris and Erin was that you barely noticed they were there! We also did a couples shoot as the sun was going down on the beach and the photos came out amazing! We received our photos very quickly after the wedding and the post-processing of the images was excellent. Highly recommended!

I got married in October 2012, and Chris Jorda was the first and only photographer that we saw. We were impressed by his creative approach to wedding photography and his laid back personality. On the day of the wedding, he texted me that he would see me soon (helped to ease my anxiety!) and he even drove my parents to the church when my limo's didn't show up. His photos from our wedding day were amazing, and we barely saw him throughout the night! We hired an additional shooter for half the day and he was also amazing to work with. Chris even sent us a few photos 2 days after the wedding, which my husband and I got to see while we were on the plane heading to our honeymoon! I would recommend Chris Jorda to anyone and everyone. I found Chris Jorda online while searching for a photographer for my wedding. His work impressed me immediately and after meeting with him I knew we should hire him. He's a true artist and I knew we could trust him with capturing every moment impeccably. Chris and his assistant Erin were such a pleasure to have with us throughout the day. We were able to have the day take us where it would and they were right there without it feeling forced or overly posed. Our guests commented on how wonderful Chris and Erin were, as well. Just had Chris shoot my wedding about a week ago and could not be more thrilled with him. Not only was he professional, timely, reliable - (even emailed the morning of the wedding to say he would see us later!).... He's also a really nice guy and was fun to work with. He added a great presence to the day and I didn't feel like he was making me pose too much or even in the way - despite capturing me getting ready, first look, etc. And as someone who isn't alway photogenic and freezes up when getting her picture taken - the experience was natural and comfortable. As if that wasn't good enough - the preview pictures are out of this world. We can't wait to see the rest of them. Chris captured the spirit of us as a couple and the spirit of the day perfectly. And he even got the preview pics up online for us in LESS THAN 24 HOURS so that we could see them before our flight took off for our honeymoon. Definitely cannot recommend him more!

We used Chris for our engagement photos and wedding pictures. He was a breeze and a pleasure to work with. If you value wedding pictures the way we do, we'd encouraging making the investment in his services. He also is GREAT on the day-of...totally blends in but steps in with assertion when he needs to. I remember freaking out asking anyone and everyone - "WHERE IS THE TIMELINE!!????" He put his hands on my shoulders and said. "Don't worry. I'M YOUR TIMELINE." Overall, he's fab. Book him!

My wedding was in July of 2012, literally on one of the hottest days of the year and Chris and his team were unbelievablely fantastic. From the moment you meet Chris its as if you've known him forever. He is so down to earth and so so great at what he does. When we first initally met with him, I mentioned I was very into candidate photos and he truly took the best wedding and engagement photos my husband and I could have asked for. During the wedding and reception I cannot tell you how many people truly didnt even notice photos were being taken, which is a true sign of a great photographer. Chris and his team truly made our wedding day better and were such a pleasure to have around. Photos came out absolutely wonderful and I would hands down recommend Chris Jorda Photography to ANYONE!! They were so good, that I plan on using Chris down the line. Amazing amazing work!!

Chris was recommended to my husband and I by friends that had used him about a year earlier. After meeting with Chris and seeing his work, we booked him about a year and a half a head of our weddding (his work is that good!) We really can't say enough about Chris and his team. It was a real pleasure to have him around on our wedding day. He is not obtrusive at all and you would never even know he was there except for the amazing pictures that you get back after your wedding! Aside from incredible photography, Chris and whole his team were a pleasure to work with! I can be a little "blinky and awkward" in pictures and my husband down right hates having his picture taken. We were both very comfortable and relaxed with Chris and it definitely came across in the pictures. My husband actually said "oh, the pictures are done already?" Long story short - AMAZING pictures and and overall enjoyable experience. YOU WILL NOT FIND BETTER THAN CHRIS AND HIS TEAM!

We don't take writing critical reviews lightly; however, given that we selected our wedding photographer based in part on internet reviews, we felt it was important to share our experience with Chris Jorda Photography with other couples. In short, we believe Chris Jorda to be a capable photographer and we are happy with the photos we received. However, we believe his customer service and professionalism to be sub-par, and at times we were furious with our experience with him. We cannot recommend him to any couple looking for a photographer. If you do choose to have Chris Jorda Photography for your wedding, we have two pieces of advice based on our experience: 1. Be persistent when you contact him by e-mail or phone, ESPECIALLY after you've paid him in full. Up until he received his full payment, Chris Jorda was very responsive to our e-mails. However, once Chris Jorda received his full payment, we noticed that his responsiveness to calls and e-mails dropped significantly; in multiple cases he never responded at all, and other times it required multiple e-mails for him to respond. 2. Discuss possible additional charges during your meetings with him, especially if you won't be living near Millburn after your wedding. He demanded that we pay to have our wedding album delivered the day he planned to send it out, sixteen months after our wedding and after having shipped our proofs and CD free of charge. He never mentioned additional charges when we met with him to discuss the design of the album; in fact, he boasted about his special deal with FedEx. To summarize, we believe that there are many other photographers who can take pictures as well as Chris Jorda, but will provide excellent customer service before and after they get paid.

Chris and his team were such a delight to work with. Chris is so accommodating and not once did we have to ask for a photo. He was always one step ahead of us. He's super creative - our photos are very unique and truly capture the emotions of the day and all the personalities around us. We couldn't be happier with the way things turned out!

My husband and I met Chris 3 years ago when he worked my brother's wedding in Central NJ. Once the final proofs came out from their wedding I knew immediately I wanted Chris' studio to shoot my wedding (I was no where near engaged at the time!) Although my now husband and I took a little under 2 years to plan our big day, Chris and David worked with us every step of the way and were always in communication with us making sure we were comfortable. Our package included an engagement photo session and David made it so fun for us! My husband hates taking pictures to begin with and upon leaving the shoot he was actually excited for him to work with us on the day of our wedding. We recently received our final proofs from the wedding and I cannot wait to show them to our friends and family. The day was such a whirlwind for us and Chris' studio managed to capture every little important moment. I am big fan of candid, black and white shots and they nailed it! Their photojournalistic style real shows in the final proofs. If you are looking for a unique style and twist to wedding photography with all the traditional ingredients, hire Chris’ studio!

I used to be a high-end wedding planner in NYC but when it came time to get married myself, I didn't have the budget to support some of the expensive fancy photographers I had worked with in the past. The photos were the most important thing to me at my wedding. A friend of a friend recommended Chris Jorda's studio. He was the only photographer I met with because I was simply so impressed. With my professional background, I was definitely demanding and not easy to please, but they delivered on every account. I wanted the photos to be fun, touching and, most importantly, tell a story in a journalistic, classic fashion. We met with Chris and he just "got" what we wanted instantly. He was already booked, but Dave, a photographer that worked with his studio was excellent! Dave came into NYC to do our engagement shoot and was just so relaxing, so much fun and helped us get used to what it would be like to be the subjects of the photos. When the wedding day came, I requested an additional shooter last minute and Chris agreed it was a excellent add and looped in YET ANOTHER fantastic photographer - we called him Fast Phil. He was everywhere! Even my father commented that he loved how the photographers were "right where you wanted them to be when something fun was happening on the dance floor." I knew the photos were going to be awesome - but when I saw them - I really couldn't believe my eyes. Everyone looked incredible. The met my standards and took it all to another level. Dave paid attention and shot all the right people capturing just enough of everyone. He got so many amazing ones of my husband and I dancing and having fun which I loved. What could be better than that!! He captured all the moments in a way where they are "living" - not still and stale, if you know what i mean. Of course, he also got amazing posed photos. I got all 900 photos in less than 2 months and a really sentimental 2 minute long slide show that I could share that will forever bring this day to life for us. My husband and I could not get enough of Chris and Dave. They listened, they cared, they calmed me down - they could not have been better. The pictures speak for themselves. When I got engaged last year, one of the first things my fiance and I decided on was to use Chris as our photographer. He shot several of our friends weddings over the years so we've seen him in action and loved his style. He's great to work with, flexible and accomodating, very laid back but definitely professional. During the ceremony and reception - we didn't even know he was there, he is not invasive at all but still manages to capture every moment and get beautiful shots. I would recommend Chris and his crew without hesitation to any future brides and grooms! They are fantastic and worth every penny.

My parents found Chris through friends in town and were instantly inpressed and booked him on the spot. My husband and I first met him at our engagement session in NYC .... he was so easy going and made us feel very comfortable right off the bat. When the wedding day came around I couldn't have asked for better team!! Chris and his assistants were so lovely and made everything run smoothly. Chris himself tucked me into our getaway car at the end of the night after ensuring I got every shot I had requested and more! He even stayed at our rehearsal dinner long past the time he was supposed to ... I think he was having a good time. His work is beautiful and his presence is both calming and fun. I trust his work implicitly and highly recommend him to any bride.

We had Chris and David at our wedding and couldn't have been happier with the results. Our pictures are beautiful and we are still getting compliments from guests about how creative, easygoing and unobtrusive Chris and David were on the day of the wedding. They really made everyone feel at ease, especially me. They managed to capture so many details we would never have seen! We are looking forward to working on our album with Chris!
