Chris Karol Marriage Officiant was started in 2019 and has officiated over 700 weddings throughout Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia VA, and many other states.Each ceremony has been different and Chris has loved all of them. The best part of his job is getting to know couples and being welcomed into their families, even if for just a day. He looks forward to building that close connection with all his clients.

Chris was a fantastic officiant! He talked to us, gave us sample scripts and ideas, and ran everything perfectly at the wedding! He also went above and beyond with helping make some of the reception stuff happen properly afterwards, using all the knowledge he had. Would absolutely recommend!
Chris recently officiated our October 26, 2024 wedding and we can't recommend him enough to future couples! His communication was fantastic from the moment we booked with him. He was so supportive and encouraging on our wedding day - he genuinely cares for all of his couples! He was willing to read a script that we pieced to together and adjust it to fit his personality and make it fun for everyone. 100% use Chris if you are searching for an officiant! :)

Well deserved a 5-star rating. Chris was our officiant on our special day and he did an excellent job! Not only he was on time but actually, he came a little early to get to know us and get to know the venue. When he read our vows he made some funny and appropriate jokes which kept all of us smiling. It is easy to work with him.
Chris is a lovely gentleman and fun to work with. Highly recommended.
Chris Karol truly made our event the best possible experience for everyone. He expressed his genuine care to meet several times to help plan our ceremony catered to our wishes, even us scripting the ceremony and our vows. Location wasn't an issue, he drove a few hours to our venue on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Chris ensured we had the best ceremony possible. From the beginning when we found Chris on thumbtack, he was responsive, and even gave us ideas for our ceremony script. The best part was hearing the surprise quote he prepared for us and we loved how he kept the audience laughing. Chris listened to and assisted with all of our requests and even worked with our vendors to ensure our ceremony was seamless. I was able to surprise my wife with horses & a carriage after our ceremony and Chris worked with the vendor and coordinators to ensure the carriage was at the end of the aisle right on time. We have absolutely no complaints about the services provided and would definitely recommend Chris to anyone we know getting married in the future.

Chris was truly beyond everything we could’ve asked for and more. The wedding was short notice (like a week advance) but that didn’t matter to Chris. He was willing and ready to help from the beginning. Have beautiful recommendations for venues and prepared everything with the marriage certificate the very same day. He showed up early and had pre written vows ready to go. And fun special unique quote. The day truly would not have been as special as it was if it wasn’t for Chris. Could not thank him enough for all he did for my wife and I. 10/10 would recommend him to anyone who asked.
Chris was such a great, nice, and communicative officiant! Along with marrying my husband and I, he helped us find the perfect venue for our wedding. He helped us turn something small into something bigger and better than we ever imagined!
My husband and I were extremely pleased with the Wedding Ceremony that Chris performed for us. He was professional and kind and wrote our vows for us using a little twist of his own. Absolutely the BEST. Chris not only did an amazing job during the service, but he was also super flexible when a tropical storm was slated to hit our outdoor wedding. Chris also had a plan for the quirky/weird requests we had for the ceremony. Ask about the shotski!! Chis made our wedding day just that much more special. 5 stars, highly recommended.
Me and my now husband went a very untraditional way because well... He's incarcerated... The original officiant cancelled last minute and I scrambled to find someone who could step in. I found the PERFECT guy! Mr Karol made me feel as if my situation wasn't a situation at all! He sent me vow ideas , communication was very strong , he kept in contact daily till our big day! He was there before I was, had all paperwork ready for me , he was friendly , chatty, professional and made you feel like you've known him forever! The ceremony went smoothly, he cracked appropriate jokes, we laughed and had a great time! He made us both comfortable and made our not so happy situation into a beautiful day! I highly recommend Mr. Karol !

My husband and I got married on 10/1/2022. We found Chris Karol online and from the first conversation knew he was the perfect fit. He made the perfect script for our ceremony and had all of our family and friends laughing. We had a small ceremony, but it just felt so much more intimate with the way Chris wrote the ceremony. I could never wish to have a better officiant.

Chris was so easy to work with! My husband and I chose to elope by ourselves with no guests. He still treated our ceremony in a way that made us feel thought of and put the same amount of care in his role as he would a large wedding with an audience. We laughed and cried and were so happy with the end results. Chris really paid attention to every detail. He was great to communicate with and extremely punctual. I didn't know at the time when we hired him what a big impact he would make. Thank you, Chris!

As a guest at one of the weddings that Chris officiated I can say that I was absolutely blown away by the effort and attention to detail that was put into the ceremony. Chris really took the time to get to know the couple and personalize the ceremony to make the moment perfectly tailored to them. He even went so far as to help pick out a venue that was exactly what the couple had been looking for. It is obvious from his fun personality and sociable nature that for Chris this is not just a job but the chance to really help make a specialized and unique moment for each couple that will stay with them for ever.

Chris was so amazing!! He made our vow renewal so incredibly perfect! He did the ceremony adding in lil quotes that my hubby and I always say to each other, so personalized!! He mingled with our guest, and became part of a family! He kept in touch with us in the weeks leading up to the renewal which made us feel even more comfortable.. And made a great day into a magnificent day! Highly recommend for couples wanting to add personal touches to their special day! I’d rate him with 10 ⭐️ if I could!! We love Chris!!
As a guest and photographer at a wedding Chris officiated, I can share that Chris goes above and beyond to make the wedding special. He will personalize the experience to make the day even more special. For the wedding I went to, he even helped pick out through venue. He is very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor.
Chris was amazing! With only relatively short notice he drove to the Outer Banks from Virginia to perform a vow renewal on the beach. He did a wonderful job and we were happy to have him be such a special part of our ceremony and join in a celebratory dinner afterward. We would highly recommend Chris as he was extra kind and friendly.
