Book this incredible human and photographer for your special day!! We booked Chris for our engagement and wedding photos back in 2019 for our anticipated 2020 wedding. Chris met up with us for coffee and allowed us the opportunity to get to know him and his style. We were instantly impressed and booked him immediately. Chris has a special gift of making you feel so comfortable throughout the entire experience. He kept us laughing which allowed him to capture our true selves in all of our pictures. Chris especially shined through when our original wedding day plans were shifted by COVID. He maintained incredible communication throughout the entire process and worked with us to reschedule our Wedding day 2.0 with him in 2021. We received so many compliments from family and friends about Chris. He felt like one of the guests which I think allowed him to capture authentic memories from our day to last a lifetime. Our experience with Chris was phenomenal right from the start. Initial communication with him was easy, and his responses were prompt. There were never any hidden surprises with Chris, which put my mind at ease as a self-identified type “A” personality. It became evident very quickly that Chris is a gifted creative. Witnessing Chris work his camera magic is captivating. Our in-person interactions began when my husband (fiancé at the time) and I went for our engagement shoot. Chris talked us through our location options and made suggestions about outfits. He then made us comfortable around the camera, guided us to pose in more photogenic ways, and got to know us as a couple. He’s a person who loves love! Chris is also open to moments of inspiration, seeing unique photo opportunities when we did not. On a whim, my husband and I decided to bring our canoe on the off chance we could capture some photos on the river. Chris was more enthusiastic about the prospect than we were. Nobody tipped the boat, and we now have some of my favourite photos of us. Our wedding was a blur, but Chris wove himself seamlessly into the fabric of our day. We did have a grand vision of the photos we wanted that day and were relieved to follow Chris’s lead. He dutifully captured the obligatory formal photos but his best photos, or at least my favourite photos, were the candid ones he took of the laughter, tears and countless expressions of love and happiness that happened on our wedding way. His energy was unparalleled as he was there with us first thing in the morning and was busting some moves on the dance floor late into the evening, all while clicking away. Not only is Chris an amazing photographer with an artistic eye for detail, but his happiness and eternal optimism helped turn me, a somewhat cynical person who felt lukewarm about a big wedding production, into a keen bride who truly enjoyed her wedding experience. His joie de vie is contagious, and his talent is undeniable. I would highly recommend Chris for any photography occasion and encourage everyone else to do the same. I would love to use his services again in the future.

We highly recommend Chris. He was so personable from our first meeting to the big day. He listened to our requests but also gave us helpful direction for our photos. On our wedding day, it turned out to be a lot colder than anticipated and we had to change our location plans as well. Despite all that, Chris brought great energy that helped us get gorgeous photos. Wow! That was our first impression of the photos Chris captured of our wedding day. I never knew moments frozen in time could look so alive now. We could really feel and experience those moments as if they were happening all over again. Chris's personality is full of joy, excitement and passion whether during the initial meeting or the big day itself. We hired Chris for our wedding, we had a package that included an engagement shoot but we had already done one and he was so willing to work with us to find something that would fit in replacement. The photos we received back were more than anything we could have ever imagined. He is truly amazing. The amount of people asking me for his information for their future weddings is insane, everyone loved him! His energy is completely unmatched and he is very willing to do whatever photo you feel is right for you. In the midst of a pandemic he was a bright spot for our wedding!

Chris was incredible! He did my wedding and my sister's wedding, and we are so impressed with him! He sends you a link to all of the photos so that you can download, print and share however many you want. Advice to brides-to-be - my husband and I had a fairly tight budget. This is a once in a lifetime day, but only certain elements will last past the day. The wedding gown, cake, food, etc. will not last, but the things that will last are the rings, the photos/videos, and the marriage. Don't try to go as cheap as possible on the photos. We found Chris Knorr Photography on the Knot and instantly saw that his photos stood out among the sea of other photographers. He captures genuine emotion and sincerity with lighting and artistry. When we got back our engagement pictures from him we were blown away by how beautiful they were and were impressed at how he always seemed to catch a flattering angle :). The day of our wedding we had detailed plans for how we wanted the pictures to go, nature, however did not. Chris's up beat and excited attitude kept everyone happy and glad to be in the moment. He made the best of an interesting weather situation and took phenomenal photos in spite of less than ideal circumstances. We got our pictures back today and were so pleased at how well he commemorated our wedding. It wasn't through overdone poses but through genuine excitement and natural shots in the moment. I was referred to Chris Knorr by a mutual friend who also used him for their wedding. We had him do our engagements and wedding photos. We have a 4 year old son and Chis was so wonderful with him!! He cares about what your photos look like and adjusts light and his lens' perfectly. His personality is also awesome! He is so excited about pictures and making sure that he captures everything you want. He is very smooth and organized with getting pictures done in a timely manner. He was very easy to communicate with via email or over the phone. His pricing was also very reasonable to other photographers that we had looked at. Kate Knorr and her husband are fantastic people to work with for your special day. They spent the entire day shooting great candids and were very organized in getting all the formal shots we requested. I would pick them again any day.

Kate and Chris did a great job at our wedding, and we have more beautiful pictures than we know what to do with! I would recommend giving a list of pictures you want to make sure they got, and they captured a lot of other moments too. They weren't in our faces much either, which is what I wanted.
