We had an exceptional experience working with Chris x Jess as our wedding photographers. From the initial communication to the final delivery of photos, they were very personable and responsive. They were great about helping us feel comfortable in front of the camera and telling us how to pose/move etc. They definitely tailored our experience to our personal styles and preferences. They perfectly captured our vibe as a couple. We especially appreciated the variety of different photo styles (black and white, grainy, flash etc.) in our final gallery as well as clear communication about when to expect to get our final gallery after the wedding. Chris x Jess are absolutely incredible, we loved everything about our experience with them! First, the photo & video quality is amazing. We received the most beautiful, vivid photos capturing the happiest day of our lives, and our highlight video is so fun to look back at and relive some sweet, sweet memories. We could not imagine more beautiful reminders of our wedding day and we are as pleased as can be with every beautiful photo that was taken. Chris & Jess are hands down the coolest people youll ever hire. When searching for someone to capture our rustic ranch wedding, we wanted someone that capture all in between moments, little moments between loved ones and the special moments you dont even realize are special. Chris & Jess are amazing! From the start their communication was great and they were able to help us get all the family photos we wanted- which was challenging with three sets of parents and large families, while still being able to spend time with our guests. Chris and Jess truly helped make the wedding day go so smoothly! My husband and I don't like taking a lot of photos but they were able to make us feel extremely comfortable not only during our engagement photos but throughout our wedding day as well. They were so efficient throughout the day as well, making sure that we got the pictures that we wanted but also had enough time to enjoy our event with our guests. While we haven't gotten our wedding photos yet, if they are anything like our engagement photos I know we won't be disappointed! Their attention to detail, laidback vibes, and warm demeanor sold us from the beginning. From the engagement photos, countdown check-ins, and true VIP service on our wedding day, its been a dream. True story: I accidentally stepped in a pile of fire ants during my first look and they stopped everything to help me, calm me, and run to get me medicine at CVS right after. I mean, they are the best people. No lie, we got married last night and we wanted to immediately write this. We are so overjoyed to have had Chris X Jess on our special day. HIGHLY recommend <3

We (and so many of our guests!) have not stopped raving about Chris and Jess. The quality of their photos speaks for itself, but it’s so much more than that: they were super easy to get in touch with and chat with leading up to the event, and also easily and expertly navigated all the chaos of wedding day, bringing good vibes everywhere they went. From patiently talking through last-minute questions to jumping in to help with random things like pinning boutonnieres to kicking back and having a beer with us to ease the nerves before the ceremony, we seriously could not have had a more supportive and cool duo by our sides. Wowow! We hired chrisxjessphoto for our engagement shoot, wedding day and wedding reception photos. I am BLOWN AWAY by the result of our engagement photos and cannot wait to see how they capture our special day. Chris was our photographer and even though it was 103 degrees out and we were nervous, he made us feel much more comfortable by the end. Chris even accommodated a last minute change when our makeup artist cancelled on us. Highly recommend them!

Chris is the man! When I saw the photos from Chris x Jess, I was immediately attracted to their style. Once a conversation began, I knew they’d be a perfect fit. We decided on one photographer and Chris was our guy. The day we took Our engagement photos happen to be the coldest day of the winter but he made it so fun and so comfortable and got incredible pictures. We have not yet received the wedding photos but I could not wait to yell from the rooftops how amazing Chris is. He was definitely in his happy place capturing our memories and his overall involvement in the wedding I know that the photos will be nothing short of spectacular. He is so chill and professional it’s so easy to be comfortable around him.

We cannot stress enough how AMAZING Chris and Jess are! My (now) husband and I are not big picture-takers and have never gotten professional photos done before, so we were a bit nervous before our engagement shoot, but Chris did so much to ensure we were both comfortable and acting like ourselves during both that shoot and our wedding. We loved how Chris & Jess' photos looked so natural and candid, and had more of a rich feel to them, and that's EXACTLY what we got for our wedding. You can tell they love photography because they really played with the location and the lighting, which resulted in truly unique and breathtaking photos. We have gotten sooooooo many compliments on them! My mom even said they are the most beautiful wedding photos she has ever seen! We also got the chance to do some creative flash photos outside of our venue at night which turned out looking so cool -- they are some of our favorites out of our whole gallery. They were also really helpful in the planning process by putting together a photo timeline for the day, so we knew exactly where everyone should be at what times. So, anyways, I will never stop shouting from the rooftops about how amazing Chris and Jess are. If you like their style, BOOK THEM! You will not regret it!!

Chris, Jess and their second shooter, Sadie, absolutely EXCEEDED all our expectations for our wedding day. They were everywhere and no where all at the same time, seamlessly fitting in to our day (without sticking out like sore thumbs) and capturing it perfectly. It's hard to put into words just how fantastic Chris and Jess are. From the first time we spoke, we immediately knew they were the ones we needed for our wedding. From their very honest and open personalities to their stunning artistic point of view, they are all around the perfect photographers. Having pictures taken of you can be such an awkward situation, especially for couples who have never taken them together. Chris and Jess emailed us with all the information we needed to prepare for our engagement photo session. What to wear, including colors/patterns that worked best for the session, what times of day were most beautiful, and how to relax and have a good time for the session. My husband and I were so nervous about our engagement photos, but we were quickly put at ease by Chris. He was so patient and so personable that we quickly felt like we were with a friend. Seeing the pictures made us even more excited to see what they would do for the wedding! The engagement photos were so beautiful we had a hard time picking favorites and ended up having a dozen printed for us to hang. Both Chris and Jess were so easy to reach and answered all our questions, they also stayed in touch to make sure they knew everything they needed to about the wedding day. The day of the wedding finally came, and they showed up just as excited as we were! They brought so much life and joy to the day, that everyone was thrilled to be a part of the photos/video. They flowed so easily between myself, my husband, and the setup of the ceremony/reception space. They gave perfect direction to our bridal group/families that made the planned photos go quickly. They made sure everyone was enjoying the photoshoot; it did not feel like a chore. After all of the planned photos were taken and the reception started, they followed everyone around taking amazing action shots! They were with everyone dancing, the people playing games, our cake cutting, bouquet toss. Everywhere you went you saw at least one camera! The entire party was so impressed with Chris and Jess, they really felt like part of the family. They weren't just photographers, they added so much energy to the wedding. Our wedding photos came in, and not a day has passed that I haven't stopped to look at these amazing photos. Jess and Chris really put their entire soul into these photos, it just makes every single picture sing. Their eye for color, light, scenery makes every photo they take so special. Our family loved seeing the actions shots of themselves and have already talked about the photos they cant wait to get printed. We love Jess and Chris and we can't wait for future sessions with them. Because of the way they captured our wedding makes it easy to relive every day. We are beyond thankful they were with us on our special day and we know they will be with us for all our future milestones.

As not only a COVID bride but also a professional event planner who has worked with numerous photographers over the years in my career, choosing Chris and Jess to photograph our special day was hands down the best decision we made. Having worked with likely hundreds of vendors through work events, I am incredibly particular about what I look for. Not only were Chris and Jess immediately responsive, intuitive, and the absolute easiest to work with from the get-go, they went above and beyond throughout the entire process to ensure that everything was a huge success. Oh, and did I mention every single photo they captured is TO DIE FOR? Here is just a small list of MANY more things that they did to make us fall in love with them: - We struggled finding a small, unique space for a private ceremony the day before our larger reception - Chris recommended The Lumen Room - the perfect spot. He sent photos, details, and connected me with the space and it couldn't have been easier. We used the space and it was exactly what we envisioned. - They made suggestions of vendors throughout the whole process - all of which were incredibly helpful and lovely to work with. - They were flexible, made incredibly helpful planning recommendations, and were always down to text, call, facetime etc. for the months leading up to the wedding, providing advice and tips on everything from 'most photography friendly confetti colors' to 'the best time to schedule photos to take advantage of phenomenal natural light.' (These two are literal MVPs and know their stuff). They also guide you through the process with beautiful and natural art direction that can make even the most photo-awkward (me and my husband) or photo-shy couples look like they should be on the cover of vogue. And finally, I have to mention how they basically saved my wedding. Our wedding took place the weekend after the Texas winter storm - electricity had been out, water pipes had burst, and we received a call from our reception venue (72 hours prior to the big day) that due to burst pipes and a collapsed ceiling, we could no longer hold our reception in the venue. I called Chris, he made a few calls, connected us with some VIP venue staff, and within less than FOUR HOURS we had a new venue locked in and ready to go. Here's what I can tell you in summary: 1. Hire Chris and Jess immediately - I promise it will be the best thing you do. 2. They are more than just photographers - they stick with you and support you through every step of the process. They are your friends and your biggest fans and they genuinely want your day and your photos to be incredible and everything that you hoped for. 2. They are immensely talented and their approach is incredibly unique, seemingly effortless, and so natural while being flawlessly distinctive to their style. The end result for you is gorgeous photos that will serve as amazing memories that you will cherish forever (and likely two incredible people to call your new friends.) We can't stop looking at our photos to be honest. :)

Chris and Jess were life savers without a doubt. In May of 2020, they not only supported our event, but also went out of their way to make it extra special. Not to mention, our pictures and video turned out INCREDIBLE. We could not have asked for better support through the chaotic time of COVID; they were with us every step of the way.

Chris and Jess are the absolute DREAM TEAM. We had awesome vendors across the board for our September wedding, but Chris and Jess were certainly our #1 favorite. They captured both our engagement session and wedding so beautifully. Chris is so creative and has a way of putting everyone at ease in front of the camera. I cannot, seriously, say enough about how incredible Chris and Jess were for us over the past 8 months. Everything from the communication, engagement photos, boudoir photos and, of course, the wedding was absolutely fantastic. They are very, very easy to not only be around but to "work with" and everyone, seriously, EVERYONE at the wedding loved them. We have a picture of Chris and Jess taking photos of the kids that were at the wedding and one with Chris actually carrying the youngest child in his arms while taking photos of the ceremony, which I wish I could add to this review. Absolutely incredible. And they both worked hard to get the best pictures they could while actively making sure that everyone was comfortable and having the best time. We cannot imagine being more in awe and thrilled with how everything turned out. They even got in the Bobcat cage with the bride to take photos. Chris and Jess, we loved you guys so much. Chris is an absolutely fantastic photographer. From the very beginning, he makes you feel so comfortable. He captured my husband and I’s love so beautifully and genuinely. He doesn’t take cliche, stiff pictures—he instead makes you and your partner feel so comfortable in your own skin in front of the camera. Chris and his wife Jess we’re hands down our favorite vendor of our entire wedding. My husband and I were nervous before our first shoot (the engagement shoot) because neither of us feel very comfortable in front of a camera. That quickly changed when Chris made us laugh hysterically about the classic scene from the Office when Kevin spills his famous chili all over the floor. Not only did this laugh give us a great photo, but it set the stage for a great relationship with our photographers. They provide a great balance of direction and freedom so that the photographs are stunning, but also feel natural while shooting them. If I could give them 10/5 stars I would! Can’t recommend this dream team enough.

I was immediately drawn to Chris’s laid back, yet approachable vibe and decided to take a chance to see if he was available for our October 5th wedding. I was thrilled to find out that he was and a quick phone call sealed the deal. Chris and Jess have been an absolute dream to work with throughout the entire wedding process. They also handled our engagement shoot (which we LOVED) and we greatly appreciated how easily we could just be ourselves in front of the camera. Chris’s awesome personality really lets you loosen up to capture those raw, candid moments. I also love how Chris checked in with us periodically throughout the whole wedding planning process. He felt way less like a vendor and much more like a friend. Chris’s wife, Jess handled our videography and it made us tear up watching it. It was beautiful. We can truly say we have gained some amazingly talented friends and we’re so happy we found them!

I can't compliment Chris enough! He is an INCREDIBLY talented photographer. Not only that, he is such a great person and down to earth. Christian is absolutely amazing!! We got our wedding photos back (within 3 weeks) and they turned out better than we could have ever imagined! I loved Christian's work from the moment I found him. So much so, that I saved his website until my husband proposed. The day I said yes, I reached out to Christian to book him. If you want an amazing photographer that connects with you and your fiancé, is amazing with directing families and avoiding family tension, and will capture every beautiful moment at your wedding, book Christian!! He was flexible with our timeline but also helped keep us on track to make sure he got the shots we wanted. His use of color in the shots and in editing is incredible- so many photographers use washed out color, but I needed vibrant colors for our multicultural wedding. He eased our stress which made for the most amazing shots. The only thing I would have changed is that I decided not to do our engagement shots with Christian- which is a damn shame, we would have gotten such amazing engagements with him instead. The packages are affordable for the amazing quality he offers, and he is worth every penny!!! Such an amazing experience, and you get the rights to your photos so no watermarks, and his gallery website prints photos for a very affordable price. Hire the best artist in the wedding photography world and support his small business too!

Christian has a true talent for capturing real emotion and making photos look stunning!! He's very professional when called for, but also knows how to have a good time and help clients feel at ease. When I was trying to figure out timeline info, he was very helpful and answered all of our questions. On the wedding day, I was so grateful at how reassuring and understanding he was when I was running behind schedule and a complete nervous wreck. (Not to mention when he stepped in to help things run smoothly when the "event coordinators" were not coordinating). Christian is really good to work with. Our experience with Christian has been really good. He made those awkward photo shoots into something fun and memorable. Our first meeting was very business like. He went over the contract and went over what is expected of US and what we should expect from him. This allowed us to not have any miscommunications and the photo shoots went smoothly. Photo shoot was really fun. Usually during photo shoot the photographer guides the couple with different poses and it's usually awkward. However, Christian made us comfortable and made it really fun. The awkwardness turned into genuineness and memorable. Christian goes above and beyond for his clients. He is personable and really quick with responses. He reminded us about upcoming photo shoots, instead of us reaching out to him. Our wedding day photos came out really well. We love every picture that he has provided us. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a photographer. Thanks Christian!

Christian was very personal and helpful throughout the engagement/wedding process. He went above and beyond to help me and my family out with such small and big details. He was VERY flexible to my schedule and budget and I cannot get over how amazing the pictures turned out. I'm not just tickling you're ears when I say this, but for the quality that you get with his photos, you cannot find a better price. I wanted a photographer that had quality and style and could not find anything without breaking the bank but truthfully I lucked out having such a great photographer. He was organized, helpful covered all the details/questions that I had and even the second photographer he brought I had full trust in and she did amazing. I would HIGHLY recommend him to any bride. P.S. he is fun and seemed like he loved to travel.

Christian is the most amazing photographer. Seriously. I am so happy with our pictures, he was an absolute dream to work with. He was so helpful and super calm which really made us so comfortable. He is worth every single penny.

Incredible human being with a wonderful vision! He was my photographer for the engagements, bridals and wedding. We road tripped 3 hours for both my engagements and bridals to some amazing landscapes/surroundings! He captured the pure love between my husband and I! Very unique in his style!
