I can not recommend enough !!! Super nice and laid back. Not only did Chris get my sneak peeks back to me the very next day but they are to die for there’s not one photo I did not like.

Chris shot our wedding in February of this year! He did amazing!!! He edited some the day after the wedding and gave us a preview about a week later !!! He is easy to work with and the shots he took were priceless!!! I would definitely recommend him as a wedding photographer because he is professional, organized and made me feel really calm the day of! He was perfect for my husband and I! I can’t wait to see the rest of the photos!!! Chris is amazing!!! So pleased!

Chris is a true artist - prompt, professional, and fairly priced. He has an eye for the uncommon photo - creativity through the roof! We were lucky enough to be a part of one of Chris’ first weddings years back, in Wilmington. While his instinct, creativity, and professionalism were apparent then, Chris has only become more refined, precise, and direct. We are blown away with our sample set of photos and absolutely loved our full gallery of photos. We highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for an incredibly detailed and creative photographer, and are happy to provide a letter of recommendation to any venue looking to add Chris to their preferred vendor list.

Overall, we had a disappointing and frustrating experience with Chris Zachary after he photographed our March 2017 wedding. We were referred to Chris from a friend and were impressed with his portfolio, after a great intro meeting we knew he was the right photographer for us! We had little correspondence with Chris after signing our contract but after we reached out to him in early March he worked with our coordinator to finalize the schedule and sent over an extensive timeline and shot list, an organized bride's dream! Chris showed before scheduled on our wedding day, was easy to work with, and seemed to always be in the right spot for the perfect shot - we couldn't wait to see our images! As a typical antsy newlywed I couldn't wait for a sneak peek and expected to be sent a shot or 2 in the days following our wedding. In mid April, after not hearing from Chris since the wedding day, I paged through our contract to find a promised delivery timeline and was unable to find any information so I reached out to Chris (shame on us for not asking and outlining this in our contract prior to signing). He apologized for the delay and sent us a sneak peek album the following week, we were pleased with the images, although they were not edited (closed eyes, heads in the foreground, cars in outdoor shots, etc.), and Chris assured us the images would be fully edited as discussed during our intro meeting. We couldn't wait to see the finished product! After the sneak peek I reached out to follow up with Chris on the finals a couple of times with no response, finally in early June I sent another message. Chris responded with another apology and we received our final images the first week in June. Our physical USB drive didn't arrive until several weeks later. We were thrilled to finally have our wedding photos and spent a few days looking through the pictures, it was then the disappointment returned. Although we provided a detailed shot list, I was crushed to find that I did not have a photo with my (divorced) parents, something that never dawned on us during the whirlwind of our wedding day. We also realized many of the photos were not edited as expected and we reached out to Chris to have a few of our favorites corrected but we didn't bother with many others. Something of less importance that was still a source of frustration - while anticipating the delivery of and awaiting our images Chris posted beautiful shots from many weddings the weeks following ours, it seemed unfair while we waited for our own. Chris did provide us with a wedding album at no cost to help make up for trouble which we were appreciative of. Chris takes beautiful photos, I will never dispute that but his lack of communication, responsiveness, and attention to details have left us with a disappointing outcome.

Chris is so easy to work with. He blends in seamlessly, yet manages to take the most amazing shots. He has a very calm and easy going personality, helping to make your whole time together feel effortless and un-staged.
