Christian Arevalo Photography

I was introduced to the Arevalo team via my wedding planner, and my makeup artist also commented how she liked the Arevalo team. We paid for a package that included an engagement session, but they were so kind to switch the engagement shoot to shooting our traditional Korean wedding ceremony instead. I typically get very shy about taking photos, but Christian and Genesis and their team were amazing at capturing so many moments without us feeling awkward. They were so laid-back yet professional and understood our goal in terms of capturing candids and more natural moments for our wedding photos. The results from the Korean and white wedding were amazing - many people have commented on how the photos are like artwork! They were good at scouting areas for us to shoot (we had to change a few shots due to the humidity / weather outside), and coordinated with my wedding planner and videographer to make sure we got all the shots we requested. In fact, altogether they were so organized and efficient that we were able to complete all of our photos ahead of schedule (including a long list of portraits with the family and all of their variations) and so had time to get a few more extra shots. We got our photos 3 months after our wedding, but they provided us with some teasers to share with others before the rest of the photos were done. In fact, when we were asked to provide a photo for a NYT article, the team were kind enough to edit and send across a few more photos despite their busy schedule. If you are looking for a photographer who is good at capturing candids that don't seem forced / posed and who will be very engaging with the client, Christian Arevalo, Genesis, and the rest of the team should be at the top of your lists!
