An accomplished photographer and visual storyteller, Christian captures weddings in a primarily photojournalistic style. Chris has been shooting weddings for over a decade and is familiar with many of the wedding venues in Central New York and Vermont, including Syracuse, Albany, Burlington, Middlebury and beyond. is for eight hours - he was with us to capture our groomsmen and bridesmaids getting ready, both sides of our families before the ceremony, important moments throughout our ceremony and reception, organized group photos during our cocktail hour, and just the two of us during sunset. He smoothly coordinated photos throughout that entire time and between three different locations. We went from The Essex to The Ponds, and he knew both of those locations familiarly, so was able to guide us to the best spots. Chris is professional, laid back, flexible, and accommodating. We greatly appreciate his patience capturing all of our family photos (there were a lot!), some last-minute additions, and making sure we made it out in time for our couple photos during sunset hour. He was extremely helpful leading up to the big day to recommend where and how to plan our photos, which made the wedding day so much easier. We didn’t hire a videographer, and don’t regret that decision given the gallery we received from Chris. Thanks to his hard work and tasteful artistry, we will be able to look back fondly on our wedding day through his photos.

the results of his work. We were married at the Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm, and Chris had worked at the venue enough to be familiar with it. He knows exactly how to provide a little direction to ensure great photos, while keeping things comfortable and natural.
People aren’t kidding when they say the day flies by in a blur. There were times during the day that I don’t even recall seeing Chris. But he was there every moment, placing himself perfectly to capture great shots without interrupting the natural flow and interactions of people. My wife and I were looking at our album remarking, “I don’t even remember him standing there for that!”.
Nearly every aspect of a wedding is over in the blink of an eye. But the photographs are the biggest thing you take away from it, as fond reminders of the memories you made. I’d say that outside of the venue, picking a photographer is the most important decision you will make. From our first phone conversation with Chris, to his speedy delivery of our album, it was easy to see that we made the right decision by working with him.

me. We got along with him really well - he has a great sense of humor and really got what we were going for, and he was very professional, responsive to email, and unobtrusive throughout the day. He was also happy to hike through the woods to get the perfect shot for us!
The turnaround was excellent - a sneak peak photo by text within a few days, a Facebook album of about 30 images after a week, and the full set just under 3 weeks after the wedding. We also did an engagement shoot with him the previous March in the woods in 14 degree (F) weather, and he somehow managed to keep us both alive and smiling the entire time, with some amazing photos as a result!
