e overpriced for the package (photography services plus soft copies and hard copies) you're actually getting. I don't think that the quality of the image they produced can not be done by other photography company out there. In my experience, even if they deliver soft copies of around thousand images, only a couple hundreds would actually be edited. These edited images are called "photographer selected", which will be completely for them to decide on. For the price they charge, it should just be expected that they will edit all the images, rather than delivering majority of images in unedited version. By the way, they edited some photos of my husband quite badly, that the face looked deformed, and in some images he looked almost too different than his day to day appearance because of the editing. We even had to email with them back and forth, after getting the images, for them to re-edit it. For a photography company that charges a lot, I really expected better quality, and not an issue like this. Having done a number of couple's photo shoot and having worked with several international photographers that are engagement/wedding focused, I would rather recommend other photographers from overseas that I know to my friends who will get married, because I know they will get more value for their money from the other ones.

us generally look so odd and awkward. Not our wedding photos though - our wedding photos seriously look like they belong in Vogue. We hired Phil Anema to shoot our July wedding. I have to say, at first, I was intimidated because I assumed the photographers from Christian Oth would be rude or difficult but Phil is the nicest guy and everyone we worked with at the studio was incredibly kind and down to earth. After doing an engagement shoot with Phil, I actually started to feel like he was just our good friend who happened to be a successful photographer, which was super important for our comfort level in front of the camera. Since we've received our wedding photos, I just keep staring at them, stunned that they are actually pictures of us. I really can't believe what Phil was able to capture. Also, our second shooter, Erin, was also so impressively talented. I didn't know what to expect from the second shooter since we did not have a say in choosing her. But obviously Christian Oth only hires the best people and some of my favorite pictures from that day are Erin's shots. Yes, Christian Oth Studio is expensive but, in my opinion, worth every cent. Your wedding photos last a lifetime and should be proudly displayed. Very few photographers can capture what Christian Oth can capture. Their photographers plus their photo editors seriously make magic happen.

Plus the guys were so fun to be with... when they weren't practically invisible just doing their thing! Andrew also did our engagement shoot and my husband and I just adore him and really felt connected with him. They are totally worth the price, because you don't just get amazing photographers and pictures-- the entire team at Christian Oth are so great with customer service and they make you feel so special and important even long after the wedding is over. A lot of vendors don't really care about you until a few weeks before your wedding, and certainly not after, but the Christian Oth team is the total opposite. They are so responsive always. They are a well-oiled machine and every last detail of the process is so polished, but also really friendly at the same time. Really can't rave about them enough!!

her. I was nervous about the rain but the shots I've seen so far have been breathtaking (I can't wait to get the full album back). I love the fact that he avoids cheesy poses...everything about his style is gorgeous and organic. My makeup artist told me he has a phenomenal reputation in the field (my now-husband and I just gravitated to his work on Christian Oth's website). His team (asst and 2nd photographer) were also incredibly friendly and talented as well. I would HIGHLY recommend Shawn if he's anywhere near your budget. To us, photography was the most important vendor and I'm so glad our investment paid off.

the photos up! We worked with Glen Allsop and Philip Anema and were super happy with them and the final product. Glen and Philip were both so relaxed and insured we remained ourselves, so the shots that we got didn’t look forced but rather just natural and captured our exuberance and happiness over the day. The only critique I would have about their services is that we really didn’t get any great family portraits as we had hoped. I wish I had a been a bit more vocal about that, as there ended up only being one photo of my family from that day, and it’s definitely not a good photo of everyone. That being said, I feel as though had I said something at the time they would have worked to achieve our goals. All of the shots of my husband and myself are truly stunning. People gave us so many compliments saying they felt the pictures looked out of a fairy tale. I loved how Glen and Philip just blended into the background and captured some truly remarkable shots we will treasure for years to come. To us, they were definitely worth the money, but we’d just recommend to fully think through and communicate everything you hope to get from the day. They were truly a delight to work with and we just wish we could have an excuse to have them photograph another event in our lives.

, nothing exciting...very plain, run of the mill that I could've gotten with anyone with a camera. They supply you with a "photographers pics" of pictures that you don't get to choose also. I contacted them to complain that the lighting was bad and they just blamed sunlight, which is odd because in the pictures online, it doesn't seem to be an issue and it looks pretty bright. Just be sure to do your research before wasting money on these guys. I had a very impressive contact recommend the studio but buyer beware on the particular photographer you get as this is a day you cannot redo.

ter reviewing their work, we were impressed at the shots and decided to set up a meeting. We met with Meredith (sales manager) and one of the photographers (Glenn Allsop). The second photographer was still TBD. We really liked his work and his personality that we decided to go with the studio. Prior to the wedding day, Glenn Allsop and Carolyn Monastra (2nd shooter) were there to recon the grounds during the specified times to assess the scenery and lighting. That is great due diligence on their part. On the wedding day, both shooters were there on time to take pictures of us roaming the grounds and getting things set up before the 2 hour photo session began around the park. Both Glenn and Carolyn were all about catching the moments and there were only a few "poses" as we were told to act natural in the majority of our shots. Carolyn, being the 2nd shooter" was barely noticeable at times as she shot from various distances and angles to capture the different perspectives while Glenn was shooting. To tell you the truth, we barely noticed the two throughout the wedding as they blended in the crowd quite well and for an Aussie and American to blend in with majority Asians is quite a feat. We really loved working with Glenn and Carolyn and highly recommend them to people. We cannot say that they are cheap, but in life, you get what you pay for and for our wedding, we were not going to sacrifice on photography.
