uld have asked for to capture our special day. She brought incredible energy, warmth, expertise, and instruction to the wedding from beginning to end. She was literally the MVP of the wedding not only in terms of photography, but keeping the timeline on track, bustling my dress when no one else could (in record time), and making sure we all felt relaxed and comfortable. Her second photographer (and videographer) Jade was also incredible. They both were so much fun to be around, which is such an important quality for someone who is going to be by your side for literally the entire day. Their ideas for photo spots and positioning were incredible and they also helped me to pull off a sneaky prank during the first look with my husband. Christie is the type of photographer that you become friends with and ask to photograph every important life event you will have. We live in DC but will absolutely be driving back to the Philly area for any and all photography needs. Cannot recommend her enough!!!!!!

tie was unavailable for our wedding date, but she set us up with Skye and Harley from her team. Christie handled all of the administrative requirements in a timely manner with such enthusiasm for her job. Some days, I think she was more excited for my wedding than I was. As for Skye and Harley, I can't say enough good things about them. On our wedding day, they felt like family. I was automatically at ease with them. My husband even listened to them (which is astonishing). They kept the vibe upbeat and fun, and we all had a fantastic time with them. They captured our wedding in an unforgettable way. They are the best photographers and people. Highly recommend hiring Christie Heimbach photography and letting them do their thing. There is less stress on you and you will get AMAZING pictures. I will absolutely be using them to capture any other special moments. They're my go-to photographers.

st of time. Neither me nor my husband were super comfortable in front of a camera until we were in front of Christie and Jade’s cameras. Christie and her team make you feel comfortable in your skin and they truly capture YOU in photograph. Looking back at our wedding and engagement photos, I can feel the emotions through the photos all over again. She felt like a guest and a friend at our wedding and did not make getting pictures taken feel like a “to do”. She traveled to 3 different areas in Philadelphia with us to capture all of the important parts of our love story for our engagement photos. Christie instantly makes you feel like you’ve known her for a lifetime. She has been incredible at communication and always responds promptly, and I could go on for hours about how much fun we had with her at our engagement shoot last week. Christie knew exactly what to say to us to get us to open up and feel comfortable in front of the camera, where the best lighting in the park was, and how to give us direction about poses (which was much needed since I never know what to do with my hands in photos). She was so clearly amazing at her job that random people stopped her in the park to request her information. She also knew exactly how to work with and shoot dogs, and it was so important to us to have our dog with us for some of our photos. I truly cannot recommend Christie enough!

the freezing cold ocean with us at the end of the night. Me and my now husband, felt extremely comfortable and relaxed through the entire process. I would recommend Christie and her team to anyone getting married and looking for photos in the NJ/PA/MD area. Everyone says how extraordinary our pictures turned out. We were also one of the first couples to have Jade record and create our video. Although we haven’t received the final product yet, Jade’s shots caught an authentic view of our relationship and day. We have no doubts of the amazing video we will cherish forever!

excitement. She took the time beforehand asking me questions about my husband and I to get to know our personalities, the dynamics of the family and what type of photos we wanted. On the day of the wedding, she showed up exactly when she said she would and she didn’t waste a single second. She immediately started taking pictures. I only had her for two hours but so many photos were taken!! She incorporated every photo that we wanted and she also posed us for a bunch as well. She’s very sweet and creative and made the picture taking process so easy and fun! We got the photos back extremely fast and the editing on them was GORGEOUS! The quality was so clear. I would honestly hire her for every event. 10/10 recommend :)

When I initially reached out and learned she split her time between Lancaster and New Jersey, it felt like a match made in heaven for my husband and me (Philly residents planning a Lancaster-area wedding). Her excitement at the prospect of being our photographer was palpable in a way that actually felt genuine, and we were so relieved that she was available for our date. After booking her for our wedding (and leveraging her great local vendor recs), she gladly met us at our favorite nature preserve near Philly and made our complimentary engagement shoot a fun and relaxed experience, returning woodsy photos that felt true to us: two lowkey, reserved-but-goofy-once-you-get-to-know-us people who had never been professionally photographed.  Her laid-back yet professional energy continued through the months leading up to our wedding. As someone who's very detail oriented, I really appreciated her attention in helping us create the best schedule to accommodate our large wedding party and make sure we got all the kinds of photos we most wanted while being the most present with our loved ones. Of all the vendors we'd taken the leap of faith to book, I felt the most totally confident in her abilities and knew that she would have our back through it all. When our wedding day ended up being graced with the luck of hurricane-level wind and rains, she helped me stay calm and positive and stick to the plan as well as possible, expertly switching gears where needed to make it all happen and keep the day on schedule. As promised, she showed up ready for anything in her umbrella hat, and she got so many absolutely gorgeous photos of us in the rain underneath (and throwing to the side) our clear umbrellas. When it cleared up later in the day, we got more of the outdoor scenes we were hoping for and some great reception + sparkler shots, too. She truly captured all the emotion and love we felt on that day, from the dad/daughter and bride/groom first looks to the "I dos" and cake cutting to the first dances -- all the tears and the smiles and everything in between.  One of the most iconic shots and a favorite of ours required her to run across the wet, muddy property while we stood on a bridge -- her dedication and artistic vision are simply unparalleled. (She was also great at coraling and guiding our family members and aforementioned large wedding party for group photos in the midst of the inclement weather!) Her turnaround time was impressive for both the sneak peak and the full gallery (800+ photos!), even as she was busy getting married herself. My maid of honor commented that even she has no idea when or how we managed to take all of the glorious photos we did, to which I say: Christie's husband may be the official magician, but I firmly believe she is one, too! From the excited initial correspondence over a year out from our September 2023 wedding to the very thoughtful wrap-up email she sent a few weeks ago, the amount of time and energy she dedicates to each client paired with all of the above puts her in a league of her own. Absolutely 1000% recommend booking her far in advance to be sure you are in the greatest of hands for capturing your special moments!

o talk to right from the beginning. She answered any questions my husband and I had and really talked us through the process of our wedding day. Of course your wedding day can be stressful and overwhelming, but she took all those feelings away. She made taking pictures so fun and comfortable and the hours of photos truly flew by! I felt like I had known Christie for years by the end of the day. The night of our wedding she even gave us a sneak peek of 60 photos!! We were so excited to look at them and it made receiving the rest of the photos that much more exciting. She is truly an incredible photographer and an incredible person!!

ced, I’d say she would easily be considered one of the best (if not THE best) investments we made for the wedding. Our wedding party and guests have even made similar comments. I will recommend her to anyone ever looking for photographer needs for the rest of my life. I actually hope she’s into newborn photoshoots, because I’ll be reaching out for our next photography need 😂 Christie was easy to feel comfortable with getting personal from the first phone conversation, which allowed her to have the best idea of what I was looking for and how to work with us best. She also recommended our videographer and we were very happy with his work as well (Zach Sowers). They even worked together to get the most beautiful floating veil shot I’ve ever seen - if it doesn’t win awards, I may have to start a protest- it’s that good. The end results are more than we could have wished for and I had very high expectations from the start regarding photography. I’ve already ordered >30 metal prints for around our house because these photos deserved to be looked at for a long long time! Thank you for capturing our day so exquisitely, we are forever grateful! w I'd hire her, and honestly wanted to be friends with her. Warmth and joy just emanate from her, and that warmth and joy extended to our wedding day. To start, she was a joy to work with, and very communicative. She was the only photographer I talked to who specifically mentioned back-up plans in case something should happen to her (Covid, car accident, etc.) on our wedding day, and who mentioned how our photos are backed up and securely stored. Her thoroughness and professionalism really made an impression, and I asked her to photograph our wedding that very day. I ended up spending more on photography than I had initially budgeted for, but I can honestly say it was 1000% worth it, and I now have a better understanding of how much good photography actually costs. There is a difference, and as far as photography goes, I actually thing Christie's pricing is very reasonable for the incredibly high quality of her work. I was pretty nervous about being photographed so much, because I don't think of myself as being photogenic. I am a curvy girl, and almost all wedding photographer portfolio's have only very thing women, so it was hard for me to imagine looking as beautiful as they did. I literally cried when Christie sent the photos, because my first thought was "Oh my gosh, I look beautiful." The photos are more beautiful than I could have even imagined. More than that, Christie (and her second photographer Ally), captured the joy and silliness of the day. When I looked at the photos, all the feelings of the wedding day came back in the most beautiful way. We had to move our wedding up due to my mom's serious illness, a fact Christie knew - she took so many beautiful photos of my mom, with me, with our family, and I treasure them immensely. Christie and Ally really added to our wedding day because of how fun and engaging they were. They played games while taking photos, keeping everyone genuinely laughing and having a great time.
