ike we had known Christie forever the moment we all met for our engagement photo shoot. She is truly one of the most kind and funny people I have ever met and her photography skills are incredible. We sought a candid style for the engagement shoot and Christie just went above and beyond, hyping us up the entire time, making us feel extremely comfortable during our first professional photos together, and we left the shoot laughing and feeling so happy knowing we found not only a talented photographer who cares about her work but also knowing she was going to be an important part of our wedding day! Fast forward to the wedding, Christie and her assistant came in and got down to business - they were on top of the wedding day timeline and made sure everything ran seamlessly with hair and makeup timing so that I wasn’t stressed out. I also want to highlight Christie’s and her team’s utmost professionalism when they were unfortunately subject to some rude comments a guest had made when the guest was getting in the way of photos during our ceremony, despite my personal request for phones away during the ceremony. Despite this, they were both extremely respectful and again went above and beyond capturing beautiful photos during ceremony. When we received the wedding photos from Christie, we spent soooo much time smiling, laughing, and crying remembering the moments she thoughtfully captured. I cannot recommend Christie enough and will be pursuing her photography services for future life events. She’s funny as hell and you will not regret it. Thank you Christie! :) 

ng. My husband and I have never gotten professional photos taken before. We were a little nervous and could not stop laughing about the situation. Christie not only had the best energy, but she fed into ours. The engagement shoot and the wedding was so much fun because of Christie. Our number one requirement for all of our vendors was a genuine connection between us. When we met Christie, she couldn’t have been any greater. What we were looking for Christie had. Not only is she an amazing, talented photographer but a wonderful person. Yes, we hired Christie for a job, but we do not look at her as just a photographer. She is forever apart of our wedding experience and we look forward to working with Christie again in the future!

We wanted someone who would not only capture our day beautifully but also make us feel safe, seen, and celebrated, and she exceeded that in every way. One thing that I will never forget was her dedication to our day/night. Our cake cutting ran late, and even though she had already fulfilled her contracted time, she stayed without hesitation because she wanted to make sure we had those perfect shots. Going into this experience, we were a little nervous about having just one photographer for two brides as there are so many moments, and angles to capture. But Christie handled it flawlessly. She knew exactly where to be at every moment, running, repositioning, even jumping into a bush at one point. It was honestly impressive to watch. I had a very specific vision for our photos being old Hollywood, romantic, timeless and just wow… she absolutely nailed it. Every photo feels like a dream and perfectly reflects the vibe we were going for. We could not recommend her enough.

She will be in your corner from start to finish!  Christie is so professional, so personable, and her talent is second to none. She takes the extra time to make sure that each photo is perfect and so YOU! She just immediately got our vibe and captured our love flawlessly.  It’s safe to say that Christie and I became besties throughout the wedding journey and I can’t wait to hang out with her! 10/10 - no notes. 

uman and as a professional. Like many folks planning their own wedding, I was wildly overwhelmed. Christie came as a recommendation from a friend, and she made a critical part of my wedding day perhaps the easiest. After inquiring, I heard back promptly and had a chat with Christie that felt like talking to an old friend. By the time we were planning our (included!!!) engagement shoot, I was so excited to meet her, and by the time my wedding day rolled around, I felt that I had invited an extra friend. I mean this woman was on her hands and knees at one point using a whitening wipe thing to get mud out of my hem. That's not her job, but she sees YOU as her job, and she makes you feel that way. This is important because the intimacy and warmth Christie puts out and evokes from her clients seeps into the photos she captures. Beyond her sheer talent, she also has the key ingredients that anyone planning a wedding wants to see in a vendor: she is prompt, responsible, kind, organized, high integrity, hilarious, caring, and wildly talented. In a process that can feel overwhelming, take the no brainer when it presents itself. Book Christie.

She is so personable and fun; Dan was comfortable with her and was able to genuinely smile and enjoy himself both on our wedding day and during the engagement session! Our whole bridal party loved her--we still get comments about how she stepped into the fountain to get the perfect shot! Not to mention that the pictures we got were INCREDIBLE.

uld have asked for to capture our special day. She brought incredible energy, warmth, expertise, and instruction to the wedding from beginning to end. She was literally the MVP of the wedding not only in terms of photography, but keeping the timeline on track, bustling my dress when no one else could (in record time), and making sure we all felt relaxed and comfortable. Her second photographer (and videographer) Jade was also incredible. They both were so much fun to be around, which is such an important quality for someone who is going to be by your side for literally the entire day. Their ideas for photo spots and positioning were incredible and they also helped me to pull off a sneaky prank during the first look with my husband. Christie is the type of photographer that you become friends with and ask to photograph every important life event you will have. We live in DC but will absolutely be driving back to the Philly area for any and all photography needs. Cannot recommend her enough!!!!!!

tie was unavailable for our wedding date, but she set us up with Skye and Harley from her team. Christie handled all of the administrative requirements in a timely manner with such enthusiasm for her job. Some days, I think she was more excited for my wedding than I was. As for Skye and Harley, I can't say enough good things about them. On our wedding day, they felt like family. I was automatically at ease with them. My husband even listened to them (which is astonishing). They kept the vibe upbeat and fun, and we all had a fantastic time with them. They captured our wedding in an unforgettable way. They are the best photographers and people. Highly recommend hiring Christie Heimbach photography and letting them do their thing. There is less stress on you and you will get AMAZING pictures. I will absolutely be using them to capture any other special moments. They're my go-to photographers.

st of time. Neither me nor my husband were super comfortable in front of a camera until we were in front of Christie and Jade’s cameras. Christie and her team make you feel comfortable in your skin and they truly capture YOU in photograph. Looking back at our wedding and engagement photos, I can feel the emotions through the photos all over again. She felt like a guest and a friend at our wedding and did not make getting pictures taken feel like a “to do”. She traveled to 3 different areas in Philadelphia with us to capture all of the important parts of our love story for our engagement photos. Her candid photography style was exactly what we were looking for and more. We couldn’t recommend Christie and her team more! ❤️

Christie instantly makes you feel like you’ve known her for a lifetime. She has been incredible at communication and always responds promptly, and I could go on for hours about how much fun we had with her at our engagement shoot last week. Christie knew exactly what to say to us to get us to open up and feel comfortable in front of the camera, where the best lighting in the park was, and how to give us direction about poses (which was much needed since I never know what to do with my hands in photos). She was so clearly amazing at her job that random people stopped her in the park to request her information. She also knew exactly how to work with and shoot dogs, and it was so important to us to have our dog with us for some of our photos. I truly cannot recommend Christie enough!

The quality of Christie’s work is gorgeous - she has an amazing editing style that really brought out the best in our photos. For our rainy engagement shoot, Skye went the extra mile, trekking into mud and rain to capture candid shots of us laughing together. She made us feel at ease in front of the camera, guiding us into flattering poses while still keeping things lighthearted. We are obsessed with how our photos turned out - Skye perfectly captured the joy of our big day. They gave us stunning images we'll treasure forever. Since then, multiple members of our wedding party have gone on to book their weddings with her, as the experience and the product speak for themselves. We did our engagement, wedding, and most recently maternity photos with Christie and her team, as we fully trust memorializing our most important moments with her. the freezing cold ocean with us at the end of the night. Me and my now husband, felt extremely comfortable and relaxed through the entire process. I would recommend Christie and her team to anyone getting married and looking for photos in the NJ/PA/MD area. Everyone says how extraordinary our pictures turned out. We were also one of the first couples to have Jade record and create our video. Although we haven’t received the final product yet, Jade’s shots caught an authentic view of our relationship and day. We have no doubts of the amazing video we will cherish forever!

excitement. She took the time beforehand asking me questions about my husband and I to get to know our personalities, the dynamics of the family and what type of photos we wanted. On the day of the wedding, she showed up exactly when she said she would and she didn’t waste a single second. She immediately started taking pictures. I only had her for two hours but so many photos were taken!! She incorporated every photo that we wanted and she also posed us for a bunch as well. She’s very sweet and creative and made the picture taking process so easy and fun! We got the photos back extremely fast and the editing on them was GORGEOUS! The quality was so clear. I would honestly hire her for every event. 10/10 recommend :)

When I initially reached out and learned she split her time between Lancaster and New Jersey, it felt like a match made in heaven for my husband and me (Philly residents planning a Lancaster-area wedding). Her excitement at the prospect of being our photographer was palpable in a way that actually felt genuine, and we were so relieved that she was available for our date. After booking her for our wedding (and leveraging her great local vendor recs), she gladly met us at our favorite nature preserve near Philly and made our complimentary engagement shoot a fun and relaxed experience, returning woodsy photos that felt true to us: two lowkey, reserved-but-goofy-once-you-get-to-know-us people who had never been professionally photographed.  Her laid-back yet professional energy continued through the months leading up to our wedding. As someone who's very detail oriented, I really appreciated her attention in helping us create the best schedule to accommodate our large wedding party and make sure we got all the kinds of photos we most wanted while being the most present with our loved ones. Of all the vendors we'd taken the leap of faith to book, I felt the most totally confident in her abilities and knew that she would have our back through it all. When our wedding day ended up being graced with the luck of hurricane-level wind and rains, she helped me stay calm and positive and stick to the plan as well as possible, expertly switching gears where needed to make it all happen and keep the day on schedule. As promised, she showed up ready for anything in her umbrella hat, and she got so many absolutely gorgeous photos of us in the rain underneath (and throwing to the side) our clear umbrellas. When it cleared up later in the day, we got more of the outdoor scenes we were hoping for and some great reception + sparkler shots, too. She truly captured all the emotion and love we felt on that day, from the dad/daughter and bride/groom first looks to the "I dos" and cake cutting to the first dances -- all the tears and the smiles and everything in between.  One of the most iconic shots and a favorite of ours required her to run across the wet, muddy property while we stood on a bridge -- her dedication and artistic vision are simply unparalleled. (She was also great at coraling and guiding our family members and aforementioned large wedding party for group photos in the midst of the inclement weather!) Her turnaround time was impressive for both the sneak peak and the full gallery (800+ photos!), even as she was busy getting married herself. My maid of honor commented that even she has no idea when or how we managed to take all of the glorious photos we did, to which I say: Christie's husband may be the official magician, but I firmly believe she is one, too! From the excited initial correspondence over a year out from our September 2023 wedding to the very thoughtful wrap-up email she sent a few weeks ago, the amount of time and energy she dedicates to each client paired with all of the above puts her in a league of her own. Absolutely 1000% recommend booking her far in advance to be sure you are in the greatest of hands for capturing your special moments!
