We wanted to serve Hawaiian food to our family and friends for our wedding. We were ecstatic to see that Christie's Catering had what we wanted. Christie and Teanna was helpful and very communicative during our entire process especially during the covid pandemic. The food was excellent . The staff fast, friendly and courteous. They by far exceeded our expectations and would strongly recommend using them.

Christie's Catering is by far the best choice for your wedding (really any event's) catering. Teanna was a dream to work with, she was so accommodating and understanding . She, unlike many others, is willing to work with you and your situation. Navigating through the COVID waters Christie's Catering was right there by our side the whole time. We have been bragging to all our friends and family because of this experience. We highly recommend Christie's Catering to everyone for everything!

I’ll go ahead and save you sometime. Use Christie’s Catering. I spent month and months, getting quotes, talking to vendors and doing research to find the perfect caterer and here they are. They will take such good care of all of your needs throughout the whole process. It is clear to see that they truly care about how your big day goes and making sure they do everything they can to make it special. They certainly did for me!!

We couldn't have done it without Christie's Catering. Christie, her chefs and her staff are all is amazing at what they do. We both felt at ease with her help and support. Christie and her team were wonderful. We had four food stations set up with different genres of food. Everyone was blown away with the variety and quality of the food. I would absolutely recommend Christie's Catering to anyone for any event.

My wife and I had a Mad Hatters Tea Party theme for our wedding and were looking around for a caterer but were also on a budget. All we could find were traditional, blase menus and prices we couldn't afford. But when we met Christie, she made a menu perfect for our our Tea Party that all our guests loved! I recommend Christie's Catering to anyone looking for a Caterer for any event. Thank you Christie!

Christie is like no other caterer out there. It was like having your own grandmother cooking dinner for you (and everyone you know). She will build an amazing menu that will have you salivating. The appetizers during cocktail hour were so good that several people said they kept going back and barely had room for dinner! Her staff was great and super helpful all night. Christie will go above and beyond to make your event a success, and she’s not out to nickel-and-dime you for every little thing like some other caterers. Ask lots of questions and go over everything about the day, because Christie will have a solution for you or an idea that you hadn’t thought of.

Christie’s Catering was the BEST choice we could have made for our wedding catering! Not only is Christie a fun, firecracker – but the food they delivered was AMAZING! We had Steak, Chicken, salad, hors d’oeuvres, fruit, beverages provided – and I’m not joking people said this was the best wedding food they have ever had, and I would agree, it was DELISH! Not just for “wedding food,” but for any food standards -it was great! We got to go and sample at a tasting in her kitchen in Renton, she gave us endless options, and always great communication. Their prices area great AND their service included plates, cups, punch, and they also had licensed bartenders, so we didn’t have to find additional vendors for that. They showed up on time, did what they came to do, AND MORE. When my decorator flaked, their whole team jumped in on anything that needed to be done, and trust me they had no obligations to help with our décor. In addition, they packed up any extra food and we got to have it before our honeymoon. The food and service were beyond and I would 100% use them again to cater an event and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer. The BEST!

We used Christie's Catering for our January wedding and were so pleased with her services. Christie is a gem and was so accommodating from start to finish. I looked at almost 10 different caterers and regardless of my budget they still quoted me more than what I said I could afford. When I spoke with Christie, she worked with my budget and even worked with my menu to allow our cultural foods. I love that her services included what other catering companies were charging extra for. Her staff was so respectful and Christie was even there on my wedding day. It was such a breath of fresh air to know that she was so hands on and she genuinely cares for her customers. Planning for your wedding can be stressful especially for the bride, I am extremely thankful to Christie for all that she did to help ease my stress. Even with some of my last minute requests and phone calls, she was so sweet throughout the whole process. My guests loved the food and kept asking me about the menu even following the wedding. I would highly recommend Christie to anyone and everyone :)

Christie and her team were absolutely amazing! After attempting to go through a few other vendors we came to Christie. She was warm, understanding, and willing to work with not just our budget but find a way to make my desires for catering possible - which wasn't easy considering my extensive cheese requests. Our event was at Thornewood Castle on 9/18/16 and the staff was all very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to us and the guests. We had a lovely woman who came and checked in on us, brought us wine and snacks at all the perfect times, like when we were signing docs and everyone else was enjoying cocktail hour! I really can't say one negative thing about this team of truly amazing people! Also, notably my venue was not the most user friendly - no kitchen for the team to utilize for prep etc, therefore, no ovens either! These guys really did such a great job! Thank you!!!

Christie was phenomenal !!!!!! She was so kind and caring and hilarious at the same time !! Her food was so tasty everyone loved it !!!! And the cost was very reasonable !!! Her staff was so wonderful and helpful as well!! I would highly recommend christies catering to anyone !!!!

Our event was Sept 4, 2016 with 240 guests. Christie made a great first impression in our first phone call and exceeded expectations every step of the way. She is a really sweet lady with a great team of experienced staff. Our guests were very complimentary of the food, and most importantly the bride was very happy with the food at our event. Definitely book Christie ahead of time and attend one of her tastings.

We loved Christie! She was a great problem solver and worked with our budget. It was really hot (90+ degrees) on our wedding day, so she decided to do some of the meat cold and it turned out great! Everyone loved the food and we got so many compliments on the menu. There were some things we really wanted, and she was able to work with us while accounting for the heat. We realized we could have many dairy-based items (heat and dairy do not mix well) and she gave us a lot of suggestions to find something we liked. She was great to work with and was very flexible.

Let me start by saying our wedding was an amazing, beautiful day that we will never forget. All of our vendors were fantastic and did everything we paid them for EXCEPT for Christie's Catering. Our wedding day came and I was told that christie told her head chef our guest count was 160. That was not true our contract was for 200 people 12 years and over (christie stated kids under that were free plus we brought food for them to have heated up). After my husband and friend had to show the contract and what we paid for the staff had to run to the store to get more food. We also asked for two food lines because we had so many guest and wanted people to get through the lines faster... Which didn't happen because they didn't bring enough linens for the tables and did not have enough food to make it look good. I was asked what color napkins I wanted and told Christie red.. They didn't bring enough red napkins so had to use white for some tables. The last four tables to get food did not get salad because they ran out! We had emails when we got back from our honeymoon, I will attach one on this review if the review allows me. SO HUMILIATING! Dinner took longer than planned not only because we only had one line but also because the staff thought dinner was supposed to start at 7:15 when we had sent our day of schedule with dinner starting at 6:30pm. We had to cut out special games because of the delay. Christie apologized and agreed she said the wrong number of guest and gave us some money back. Then her and her head chef "Teanna" wrote us emails saying we ran out of food because we had "250-270" guest which is far from the truth. We had 242 seats in the venue (21 tables with 10 chairs, two tables with 9 chairs and a head table with 14 chairs). Our final head count was 223 total including kids. We had 10 babies under two, and 15 kids 3-12. So that leaves us with 198 guest over 12. Basically they are flipping their mess up (which Christie admitted she messed our number up with another wedding) and now saying that we had too many people over our 200 limit and that's why there was not enough food! Teanna sent us an email that was very rude after the wedding and we never emailed her in the first place, we didn't even know her email address. We emailed our concerns on the services provided directly to Christie. Teanna's email had these statements: "Like I said I have been with Christie for over 16 years and, never have I ever delt with this bullshit! If this is what you want to remember about your wedding..... at this point it's whatever! There nothing more that we can do!" She also said, "You had well over 250 guests! We DID NOT run out of food! The only thing we ran out of was Salad. That was after the 200 people had gone through.... I was down there when that happened. It might have been the last 30 people however at that point you were well over your original head count anyway! No one starved!" There is much more to the story, if you want anymore information please contact me. Bottom line I wouldn't recommend Christie's catering to anyone for their wedding day or any other event. The food was good but the experience was horrible. They are very unprofessional! We should have taken the reviews we read before choosing her services more seriously and hope you do the same.

I was struggling to find an affordable caterer for our local wedding and was thrilled when I first found Christie's website. I reached out to her via email after reviewing her menus and sent her what we were looking for as far as food, budget, and number of guests. I love that her services included so much of the necessities for the reception as it meant I would have fewer vendors to deal with! She was quick to respond with answers to all of my questions and she was able to provide everything at a price point my fiancé and I were comfortable with. Communication was great and she was incredibly understanding when we kept having to reschedule a tasting due to a family member passing. Getting to taster her food and meet her in person sealed the deal for my fiancé and I. She just felt like she could be anyone's grandmother and had story after story to entertain you with. And of course the food was delicious too! We were so excited. She stayed in touch as we continued our planning and was sweet enough to let us pick up our table linens early so we could have the tables prepped before the catering crew arrived. When the crew arrived on site I was pleasantly surprised to see her with the team members she told me would be working our wedding. It certainly made us feel special that she took the time to make sure things were set up properly and that everything was going smoothly. She was so sweet and gave both of us great big hugs and had us feeling very reassured. The staff was fantastic all night; the food was delicious, the buffet, dessert, and bar tables looked amazing and everyone loved what we served. My fiancé and I had been to a well-known seafood restaurant the night before and Christie's food put them to shame. If we ever have another event that requires catering, I know Christie will be the first one I'll be calling!

Christie and her team did a great job for me, and I got lots of compliments on how good the food was. Christie is such a sweet lady. I appreciated the to-go bag of left overs for the bride and groom, since our big day was so busy we didn’t even get a chance to try all of the food.

Bads: Christie catered for my wedding. Throughout the whole process there were a lot of miss communication, a lot of repeating emails, and a lot of you said, I said. My wife and I were not satisfied with the whole experience. I can list all the issues here, but instead I will end it by saying, “I will not use her for my future events.” Good: The food was decent. The service was ok, but some of my guess stated that the bartender was rude. They worked hard in setting things up, especially in the hot weather. We tipped all the waiters and bartender. We did not tip Christie.

Christy's food is delicious! She is not limited to a particular menu so she works with your tastes and the season. She truly cares about the bride and groom and even gives them a to-go bag of food. She also provides the leftovers. She is pleasant to work with and her food is delicious!!!

Food was okay, nothing amazing. Some people complained about the meat being cold. Reasonably priced.

Christie was on top of everything! She was so helpful and had great tips for food ideas. The presentation of food was fabulous and everything was delicious! We had over 250 people at our wedding and everyone was very satisfied! We would definately recommend Christie to anyone throwing a party!

Christies catering worked great for our wedding. She is such a sweet lady and really wants to make sure your wedding day is perfect. We had a lot of last minute changes and they were very accomidating. They were on time and set up perfectly. The food was great , some of it was a little cold and the chicken wasn't my favorite but the appetizers and everything else was awesome! There was a problem with not taking out there trash at the venue so be sure to let them know they need to throw their garbage bags out if your venue doesnt take care of it.

Christie was so great to work with. We weren't the easiest couple to work with. From the food allergy considerations, to the different color of tableclothes choice her attention to detail was incredible. She even share with us how to stretch our budget by providing something else for the kids. Her staff was friendly and a great help throughout the event. She even packs a little picnic for the bride and groom to take with them so they can actually sample what was served that day if they don't get a chance to eat much during the event. Oh and the food...well we are still hearing from people how great the food was at our event. Thank you Christie and your staff for making our event so easy on us and memorable for our guests.
