I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kerri and Christies of Genesee. We were coming in from out of town and Kerri made everything so easy. Kerri, her husband, and the day of coordinator were an absolute pleasure to work with. The place was absolutely beautiful and everything was perfect. Not only were my husband and I thrilled but all of our guests were very complimentary. I cannot think of another place that I would have rather gotten married.

Our wedding couldn’t have been more perfect! We were coming from out of town and had our wedding there without visiting first and it was even more beautiful than it was in the photos. Keri was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. I’d highly recommend this venue to anyone who is considering it.

Christies is amazing! I planned my wedding while moving from TX to CO and Kerri made everything so stress free. The venue is beautiful and has amazing sites for dramatic photos all around it. The venue provides everything outside of photography, officiant, cake, and florals. I brought some personal touches but for the most part the venue provided most decor to make the space feel romantic and beautiful. I went with the lemon chicken, veggie medley, and garlic mashed potatoes for the menu. The food was outstanding, the crowd favorite was definitely those delicious mashed potatoes. Thank you to wonderful staff that made our fairytale so perfect!

Christies of Genesee is the most amazing venue!! We would highly recommend couples looking for a beautiful venue and amazing staff to look at Christies. Their staff are all phenomenal and were so incredibly helpful throughout the entire wedding process. They include just about everything (i.e. food, décor, day-of coordinator), which was wonderful. We planned our wedding out-of-state and their all-inclusive service is the main reason we booked them. After planning and holding our wedding with them, we could not speak more highly of the staff! Kerri and Frank were so helpful and there to answer any question we had and get us all set up for the day, and Claudia did a phenomenal job as our day-of coordinator. We truly did not worry about a thing on our wedding day. The venue is absolutely stunning and we had the best time at our wedding!!

We had an out of state wedding and this place was perfect! They took away a lot of the stress of planning. Kerri was so helpful answering all of my questions and coordinating everything on the day of the wedding. It was gorgeous and you'd never know we had a wedding on a budget.

We cannot say enough about Christie's and its incredible staff! Their motto is a stress free wedding and THEY'RE NOT KIDDING! Kerri & Frank are such gracious, knowledgeable owners and their staff seemed every bit as excited about our event as we did. They made sure I (the bride) walked into the day feeling excited and taken care of. Our guests loved the rustic, Colorado vibe of the venue, the excellent food and again the incredible service. Also, it's affordable. If you want a stress free wedding where you feel truly taken care of, book this venue!

Christies of Genesee provided us with a fabulous venue and great staff. We met with one of the owners, personally, at least twice throughout the planning process and loved the options they gave us. We didn't have to worry about table linens or hiring a dj, and all setup/takedown was completed by the crew. Additionally, other couples have the option of hiring their own dj and providing their own centerpieces and linens. Thank you Kerri for your kindness, warmth, and professionalism.

Frank and Kerri made my day beautiful. They have been super helpful with answering questions, and made my day run smooth. My day of coordinator Kim was AMAZING!! She helped with everything and made everything run perfectly. The only thing I would change is being able to grab seconds. When you’re a bride and it’s the day of you will be starving, and they closed the doors before we could go back up and get a little more. This venue is beautiful and their customer service is wonderful. Thanks guys!

Christies of Genesee Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for making our daughter's wedding on August 8th everything she and her husband and we hoped it would be! From the moment we started working with Kerri and Frank almost 18 months before the wedding, through the months of uncertainty due to the Pandemic and to the last moment of the wedding reception, Christies made the process enjoyable and seamless. Christie's staff was a pleasure to work with on the event day. They were warm and welcoming and willing to help wherever they could. Special thanks to Kim, our event manager and Elaine our Bartender. Working with Kerri & Frank, owners, was like working with family that you like! They never got tired of answering our questions, and we had many! They were flexible and they were just as excited about our daughter's wedding as we were! They made the wedding planning so easy and stress-free! Other than a minister, flowers and the cake, Christie's offers everything needed for the perfect wedding and reception--from the beautiful outdoor garden, the elegant rustic mountain interior, the peaceful views with fabulous photo opportunities, the delicious food and great music and sound system! Our only regret is that with the wedding done we won't see Kerri & Frank as often! Thank you for being a part of helping us create our daughter's dream wedding and giving us memories to last a lifetime!

Beautiful place!

Everything turned out amazing. They were very accommodating when it came to our food allergies. The day of coordinator they provide was great and we didn’t have to worry about anything. Our special day couldn’t have turned out more perfect.

my wedding was just last night and I felt the need to post this ASAP. everything was perfect. Keri and Frank do such a good job with keeping everything together. The coordinator, Patty was so accommodating. Always checking in, made sure we were on time. I got to leave everything up to her and she made it perfect. We had the Italian food and it was so yummy! all of the people there made sure me and my husband ate our food. It was a beautiful night. Thank you so much for making my day so special and perfect.

It was a fantastic venue! The food was amazing (best mac-n-cheese I've had in my life), and the staff were so kind and helpful. The only somewhat negative thing I will say is, we had our ceremony indoors and had about 100 guests, and there was barely room for everyone. We had been told previously that there was room for 130 guests, but had a difficult time fitting 100. Overall, though, an overwhelmingly positive experience. The facilities were beautiful, and perfect for the feel of our wedding.

We are so thankful for Christies of Genesee, Kerri, Frank and their whole staff. The venue is absolute magic! The decor inside made it so easy to bring in our personal touches and all the lights outside were so stunning. We ordered the western grille and substituted pulled pork instead of pork chops and it was so delicious everyone loved it!! The staff made our lives so easy, walking me in through the back door to prevent my groom and guests from seeing me, lined up and kept our bridal party together, and kept the day running exactly to schedule. They are flexible to work with you and make your visions come to life. They were great with communication throughout the night when it came to our bar tab, ending time and the timeline; also from the day we booked the venue they were so organized and it was so easy to communicate. We planned our wedding from 3000 miles away and Kerri and Frank made it so easy and completely perfect!!

The owners were amazing to work with, and our wedding was beautiful. The all inclusive venue took so much stress away from planning a wedding and we were able to focus on each other, our friends, and our family. The place was affordable and top-notch. Highly recommend!!

Christie’s of Genesee was the most beautifully easy going process we had in regards to our wedding! You would think the venue would be a difficult process for a bride. I had to give short notice and they pushed through to make this the most special and easy going evening! The owners are by far some of the kindest people we have met and made things cost efficient. It’s all inclusive and for a mountain wedding they truly make it so it doesn’t break the bank! Very responsive as well which is important! The lighting was most important to me and it is so spot on gorgeous!! Will be amazing photos, once I recieve those back I just know it! You can choose to have it indoor or outdoor the day of your wedding. This was a huge stress relief because we wanted outdoor but it rained (good luck eh!), they switched to indoor in no time. The indoor venue was just as gorgeous thankfully so not a worry! Also check out their suggested vendor list, we used everything they had listed on there and it was perfect!! We got married here in October 2017 and it was PERFECT!! The staff was so helpful and made the wedding as stress free as possible. Not only is the venue gorgeous, but the price is right! Keri and Frank are the best, you wont regret choosing them!

The service at Christies of Genesee is incredible! Frank is absolutely delightful! As a photographer, working with the venue is very important, they were very accommodating for my client and overall a joy to work with! This place is beautiful, affordable with excellent service! A gem in the mountains! Absolutely recommended!

My husband and I got married at Christies of Genesee in June 2017 and could not be happier with everything!! It's an absolutely beautiful venue, Frank and Kerri (the owners) are fabulous, the food is delicious, the drink prices are completely reasonable, and the staff on the day was top-notch! They really are all inclusive... we added some decor for personal touch and brought our own flowers - but they did everything else from the linens, ceremony set up, music... anything we needed! The venue has a very elegant, rustic vibe already, so we didn't need to add much! Our guests could not telling us how perfect the venue was and how smoothly everything flowed - all thanks to the staff! The ceremony was beautiful out in their garden, and we even had hummingbirds flying around us, which was really neat! One thing we really appreciated was the transparency with the price - there were zero hidden costs and we knew exactly what we could/could not include to stay within our budget. I would recommend this venue to anyone (if you have under 150 people)! We had just over 100 guests and it was perfect - but fewer or more would have worked great too!! Five stars and beyond!!

Loved the venue! Great staff, beautiful scenery, good food! My only complaint is that they do two weddings a day so time was cut short and rushed. Didn't have enough time for an actual reception. Hardly any time for dancing because we had to be out of the venue. Only had 4.5 hours time total.

We had our wedding at Christies Of Genesee mid-May 2014. It was a perfect venue for us. The staff were wonderful and caring and made sure all of our needs were met. We loved that that the location is conveniently located; just west of the Denver metro area, while also offering a mountain foothills setting.The garden patio is very pretty and during our ceremony there were hummingbirds flying around the flowers. After dark the patio is also lit up with custom lighting. It was really nice to be able to have our ceremony and reception in the same location. The dining room is cozy and feels like a family owned restaurant. The wood dance floor is large enough to accommodate, and we really liked that the dance floor looks outside onto the patio through floor to ceiling glass windows. We selected the Italian meal, which was delicious. Ice cream is also included which is a great addition to the cake-especially for kids! The all inclusive ceremony, reception and meal are ideal and eliminate the stress of finding a separate caterer. Overall, we were highly satisfied with Christies Of Genesee for our wedding!

The location is great, the day-of staff are great, the food is great... But if you're looking for somewhere that will be open to your personal touch and give you time and attention prior to the wedding day, go somewhere else! Our vendors were given 30 minutes to set-up before guests started arriving, and it was a fight to get into the venue outside of their 2 hours of "open house" each weekend. The on-site event planner prior to the day of invalidated every one if my ideas including wanting a color scheme other than their dark green and dark red, having an outside DJ rather than just hoping the flow of dancing continued based on a pre-set playlist, how I wanted my escort cards displayed (she actually didn't even know what escort cards were), and on and on and on. The day of was absolutely great, and it can't say enough about the day-of staff, but the weeks leading up to the wedding could not have been any more stressful based on the lack of flexibility for personalizing MY wedding.

We went and looked at Christies of Genesee when we were looking for a wedding venue. They had a nice view in the back but everything inside was very outdated (the carpet, the curtains, the wallpaper). These things matter a lot when you are trying to get good wedding pictures. You have to get linens from an outside vendor if you want to cover up the green table covers they use. For the money, we wanted to find a place that had updated in the last 10 years.

I had my wedding at Christies in September and it turned out perfect!! I was trying to find something in my budget that was still beautiful and Christies is the place. They were so professional and had everything so organized and under control. The only things I wasn't too happy about was the brides room was very tiny and the their was no grooms room, and we had to tip the bar at the end of the night (17% of the total bar bill from everyone) and they would not except tips from anyone at the bar. Other then that it was amazing and and such a good deal.

This venue was a perfect fit for our needs; affordable and just the right size. The staff is a bit difficult to work with as they are somewhat set in their ways. I still got my way so just stand your ground. However, if you want so traditional things (announcing the wedding party, place cards, etc.) designate someone in your group to handle this! The staff is nice but not very enthusiastic. Be sure to write out instructions; it will save you a lot of time on explanations during the wedding! The food was fantastic and the picture setting was great! I definitely recommend the location for affordability and smaller weddings (60-80 people).

Christies was so helpful the day of my wedding, they kept everything on schedule, food was wonderful and the views for the ceremony and the set up were beautiful.

We had such a beautiful wedding, and such a wonderful time. Christie's made sure there was nothing to worry about. They take care of everything. Absolutly wonderful, and very affordable.

The staff was great. The place was beautiful.

The actual day of our wedding was awesome, the staff member who ran our wedding did an excellent job and made me feel very heard and taken care of. The owner of Christies did not make me feel this, she came across as a little condescending and we were a little nervous because she didn't always agree with what we wanted and only seemed to placate us rather than gladly do what we wanted. Also there is a corner in the venue filled with family photos and award memorabilia which I found tacky and odd. The food was great, the outside ceremony was beautiful and the staff who ran the wedding were great as well. Overall glad we made the choice to get married there.

Christie's is probably best for someone on a very tight budget, or maybe even a second marriage. They seemed to have rules or policies that don't real fit for a "dream wedding". The garden was amazing, especially at night. Not too impressed with the people, with the exception of the chef. Food was amazing, but not cheap. The place itself was cute and good for a small garden type wedding.

We had our wedding Ceremony and Reception here. While it was a beautiful site and delicious food, the staff was very unhelpful. They are very set in their ways of how they run their weddings and are very unhelpful if you want something different. Also the "DJ" that is included is just the event manager multi-tasking and pressing play on a CD that cooresponds to a request list from your guests. We were VERy disappointed with the music and helpfulness of the staff. We paid too much money for the service we received.

As I told many of the people involved in planning my wedding, no matter how planned and organized I was for the big day, without the very competent others who were involved, it would not have been such a beautiful and perfect day! The staff at Christies is to thank for this as well. Their very professional and efficient staff took care of everything on the day of--even those extras I provided myself to make the day exactly how I wanted it. I provided the favors, they put them on the tables. I provided my own centerpieces to match my flowers (though they had centerpieces available for use for free), and they made sure to swap out theirs with mine. When I arrived at the venue before the ceremony, everything was all ready to go, and I didn't have to do a thing besides go over the music with the DJ (who is also included in the price!) All-inclusive wedding venue is definitely the way to go. My husband and I shopped for a while at many Denver area all-inclusive wedding venues, and we just kept coming back to Christies! The price, location, and staff had us hooked. We are very grateful for their help before, during, and after the wedding! If you're looking for a gorgeous mountain (indoor or outdoor) wedding site that is all inclusive, Christies is the way to go!

The staff was beyond awesome, very knowledgeable and kind. the food was great, guests still rave about it. The scenery was the best. We got a steal of a deal.;The decorations could be updated and the location can be a little confusing to find. Dates for our location fill up FAST, book ahead.

Everything was included and provided a relaxed and beautiful environment for the wedding party and guests.

The staff was wonderful, so polite, and professional and dressed well. The venue provided me with my own wedding coordinator, dj, and catering. I was able to meet with the chief before the wedding to plan out the meal and taste the food. The food on my wedding day was so delicious and plentiful. The place settings were classy and allowed enough sitting room for each person at each table, no one felt crowded in. The chairs were comfortable. The sound system was fabulous. There were separate control volumes for each area of the venue, this way the music was not too loud and not too soft. The wedding coordinator was very efficient and graceful in leading the wedding into the reception. They always asked permission before anything was done and prepared me on the next event that was to take place. Finally the layout of the venue allowed for easy mingling and was wheelchair friendly.;What I did not like was the time frame. I was only allowed to arrive 45 min early to set up decorations and get ready. The brides dressing room was really small and I could barley fit my mom, mother in law, photographer, hairstylist and makeup artist in there. I also did not like the drinks at the bar. They did not allow any shots, nor did they have any mixed drinks. They only have one color of table linins, dark green, which did not match my wedding colors. Also the microphone could not reach the head table, so my maid of honor and grooms men had to get up and walk to were the microphone was.

The staff and event managers are extremely helpful and work very hard to make your special day go as smooth as possible!;They won't let you throw anything such as bird seed confetti or rice when you're leaving (because of the mess they would have to clean). We just used bubbles.

The amazing view and the cost it was a great place to hold everything and I could even do my ceremony outdoors!;They will start taking everything down towards the end of the reception time I said it was fine that they did but some people might not like that.

the food was awesome great portion size and knowledgeable chef. The staff was great they helped with everything from the music set up and tear down cleaning bartender cake service they also have an announcer to announce the garter and bouquet toss the toasts the cake cutting the first dance etc. That makes it so easy to just sit back and let them take over.;WAY to picky about the decorative items on the tables. You can't use colored candles of any kind colored flower petals only white or cream and no rehearsal is allowed. It makes for a chaotic ceremony because no one knows where to go or where to stand. They didn't set up the unity candle table in the right spot either. They also don't let you take any food home they toss left overs.
