irst, Christina seemed very accommodating, but I’ve not been pleased with her handling of the situation. I paid for a wedding package, including 8 hours of shooting. It also included an engagement session (never offered and nothing happened with it), and some prints. Because of Helene, plans changed and Christina agreed to split the session in half - 4 hours to shoot the ceremony and 4 hours later at the campsite once it is re-opened past the hurricane. I can’t speak to the four hours she may or may not shoot with me again. But on the day of the ceremony, she arrived late and shot for a little over 2 hours before leaving. She said she would have edits for me in two weeks, which I thought was ambitious. When it had been more than two weeks, I extended grace because I thought 2 weeks was too ambitious. Around a month or so in, I received half the photos and she said she would upload more over the week. It has been over a month since then and I have not heard a word from her, despite reaching out to her several times. The quality of the photos is poor. Many aren’t in focus. In a few, heads are cut off. She took most ceremony pictures from an angle where people are “stacked on top” of each other, such that no faces are discernible. I think she is better at posed photos rather than spontaneous/candid photos, but at this point I have received 0 photos from the poses part of the shoot. My wedding was November 10, so we are into 2.5+ months later. She has had poor communication. I have messaged her several times with no reply. This was a once in a lifetime event and I regret hiring Christina. If I do not get the remainder of my gallery, I will be forced to take legal action.
