She’s extremely talented and knowledgeable, a true artist. As an ADHD girlie, I had a hard time making decisions about the lip color and she was so patient, literally on the day gave me a color that was in her personal collection (cleaned and sanitized of course) because it felt like the right color we were looking for. If you’ve found Christina, stop the search- you’ve found the best of the best.

I was thrilled to see she offered "Grooming" services as my partner wanted his makeup done as well for photo-readiness, and it disrupted the conventional cishet wedding frustration that only THE BRIDE should look her best. She also totally understood my less-conventional hair desires and recommended a brilliant hair artist (Lucy LaRiot) who totally nailed the look - my glam team was completely badass thanks to Christina's inherent coolness and her totally on the nose tips. We both had a fantastic trial and looked great for our engagement photos, and the day-of was well organized under Christina's excellent timing (and her second artist's - covering over a dozen folks on a tight turnaround.) I of course loved my look (which barely budged - to the extent that I kept it on the next day with the most minor touch up like the gremlin I am, sorry pores!) but I was most amazed by the magnificent range she accomplished, from soft mom looks and beautiful polish on my lovely guy to a wild 60s glam for my very specific friend who brought a dozen reference photos. I admire Christina as an artist, person and professional and am so glad to have had this occasion to bring her into my world.

She arrived to the venue early, had every product and tool that we could possibly need, and was skilled in the various makeup styles the wedding party requested. She was even able to perfectly cover the sunburn I'd gotten on my chest during the previous day! I requested Christina stay until after the ceremony to fix my makeup because I knew I was going to sob. She stayed, constantly helped primp me and give touchups up until the moment I went out, then fixed my makeup and even helped bustle my dress afterwards (and her initial makeup application was so good -- it hadn't even budged despite my crying during vows)! It's a bummer I've found my forever person, because if I had another wedding she is the very first vendor I would rehire!

I felt genuinely beautiful while also completely recognizable as myself, the perfect balance of natural and elevated for the occasion of the day. And despite the humidity and hours of dancing, I literally didn’t have to touch up my makeup once. Perhaps the most meaningful part: Christina embraced my mom and aunt (both of whom were nervous about professional makeup) with so much patience and kindness. She answered all their questions, heard their hesitations, and talked them through every step of the process. They looked absolutely stunning and I could tell how good they felt. And my husband loved his grooming services, too! Christina’s grounding presence amidst the chaos of getting ready was such a breath of fresh air and I’m so grateful to have gotten to know her! For the day off, Christina did full makeup for myself (bride), 3 bridesmaids, 1 bridesman and the mother of the bride and made sure we each got exactly what we were looking for with each of our looks. vated. It's REALLY hard to find people who do this well. Christina is the gold standard. She is extremely professional but is also kind and warm and made both of us feel calm and beautiful on our wedding day. She managed to cover a massive pimple I had while still allowing my freckles to be visible. To me it seemed like magic. My sisters, who love makeup and wear it regularly were done up in slightly more "glam" looks, which also looked amazing. Christina even came to our house for a second trial when my wife decided she wanted something slightly different from her first trial. She listened perfectly to what each person wanted and fully delivered. I was worried about sweating off the makeup on our 90 degree wedding day plus humidity but Christina again worked magic to keep everything in place until I was removing the makeup at 4 AM. lieve how lucky I am that I landed Christina for the big day. First i'll start with the trial. Christina came to my home to do my trial, and I of course was nervous about someone else doing my own makeup as I had only had it done a few times, but pretty much as soon as Christina arrived I was at ease. She was so lovely and kind, had an impeccably clean and neat makeup kit, and after 5 minutes of her being in my home I felt like she was just one of my friends. She took her time with the trial, letting me look in the mirror at each stage to let her know what I liked and didn’t, and what I thought could be tweaked. Christina took one look at my fairly vague Inspo photos and hit the nail on the head. She created an environment that made me feel comfortable telling her what I wanted to tweak, which was honestly very little. My nervous feelings going into the trial were turned into such excitement from the amazing work Christina did. Throughout the planning process, Christina was so kind, responsive, and flexible to our ever-changing timeline and list of people who wanted to use her services. Flash forward to the wedding day - Christina came on time (she actually was early but told us to just let her know when we were ready for her to come up) locked and loaded with an again PRISTINE kit, with containers of brushes labeled with each persons name who was getting their makeup done. Our party getting makeup done by Christina ranged in age, skin types, everyday makeup wearing levels, and idea of what they wanted, but let me tell you - every single person came away with a palpable confidence and radiance, all looking like DROP. DEAD. KNOCKOUTS!!!! I attribute so much of this to how comfortable everyone was with Christina, and how well she listened to each person’s wants and needs. Christina even ended up sewing up our officiants dress when it broke right before our ceremony. Talk about a team player. As for my bridal makeup, it was somehow even BETTER than the trial!! I was so nervous that I wouldn't feel confident or beautiful on my wedding day, but after getting my makeup done by Christina, I felt more confident than I ever have, and the best part was that the makeup was somehow WEIGHTLESS. One of my biggest concerns was my makeup staying on as I am a big crier (cryer?), and Christina assured me and everyone else that all of our makeup would stay put. She wasn’t lying! My makeup and everyone else stayed on through tears, rain, humidity, and sweat. The only word to describe it is MAGIC. She even did a very light touch up for my now husband, and he couldn’t stop remarking about how great his skin looked. I could go on and on singing Christina’s praises, but the TLDR of this review is that you will not find a makeup artist as skilled, dependable, kind, and overall amazing as Christina. I will be recommending her and hiring her for any future events until the end of time!

e moment I first booked her, it was clear that her goal is to make you feel like your most amazing self. She was incredibly organized and asked lots of questions ahead of the trial. The trial itself was great--she showed me a few different looks and seemed to genuinely want to get my feedback to make sure we landed on the right look. When, a week before the wedding, my BFF asked if she could have her makeup done too, Christina was so flexible and had no problem adding her in last-minute. She was also super organized. Like Mary Poppins, everything I could possibly need, she somehow had in her makeup bag. I was dehydrated, she had an electrolyte drink for me. I was super tired and stressed, she had a skin-boosting mask for me. I was worried about sweating it all off in the summer heat, and she left me with a jam-packed (but also very cute looking) touch-up kit that featured everything I'd need to look good once she left me to take photos and head to the ceremony. Needless to say, my makeup looked flawless and lasted all. night. long. I went for something a bit glam (silver smokey eye) that photographed soooo well. But most importantly, Christina was just a really nice, kind, friendly person; she put me at ease at what could otherwise be a stressful moment. I can't recommend Christina enough!

There were bumps in the schedule but I had no idea because she handled it with grace, diffused any potential stress and kept us on time. She also made sure I liked my makeup in several different types of lighting and both inside and outside at the venue. All the way up until the moment she left my venue she was making sure I was happy with my look and was always willing to change something if I wanted. Similar to many brides, I wanted that "glam but natural / still feel like myself look" and Christina absolutely knocked it out of the park. I felt so glamorous and elegant but still felt like myself. It was also such a joy to have her and her second artist Corey in the house with my girls and I - they were so easy going, fun, respectful, and thoughtful. All of my bridesmaids told me the next day how much they loved them both. Christina is the absolute best and working with her was an amazing experience. She is a kind, thoughtful, beautiful person inside and out and truly cares about everyone she works with. Book her now!! She and her assistants did everyone’s makeup flawlessly and you couldn’t even tell that different people did everyone’s look. They were efficient, on time, friendly, and great people to talk to. I couldn’t describe what color eye shadow I wanted like not a color but that there’s something there (so specific I know) but she knew exactly what I meant and worked together with me to make it exactly how I wanted. She’s so encouraging and a calming presence to have on a hectic day. I even had her do my makeup for my bridal shower because I loved her so much. We had her for the whole wedding day and she touched up me and all the girls whenever we felt we needed it. 10/10 would recommend.

Planning a wedding is stressful enough, so having a detailed FAQ sheet for brides was genius. I wish all vendors did this!! This answered almost of all of my questions, so by the time we had our call we were able to just focus on getting to know each other and my style/vision for my wedding makeup. For my trial, Christina was awesome and made sure I was 100% happy with the look. I wasn’t entirely sure how to articulate what I was looking for, but she was very patient and we eventually landed on something that felt like an elevated version of myself. She also asked me other questions about my skin type, and my photographer’s editing style, to make sure my makeup would look great in photos. Fast forward to the wedding day, and I was beyond thrilled with how my makeup turned out. Christina perfectly executed my vision, and I actually cried when I saw myself in the mirror--I felt beautiful, special, but still like myself. There were many more tears to follow throughout the wedding day (plus some sweating...it was August after all!) and my makeup did not budge. So, if you are looking for a makeup artist who is kind, thoughtful, patient, and who will help you feel like the best version of yourself, look no further! Christina even took into account that I would be wearing my glasses and made sure the eye makeup and glasses worked together. The makeup lasted all night, looked great in photos, and she gave me some full-size products for touch ups! to write this review so everyone else can be as lucky as I to have her as a makeup artist! I am still not over how I looked on my wedding day, I felt the most beautiful EVER. From the start of my wedding planning, in our initial phone consultation, Christina proved to be a great listener. She listened to my concerns about makeup/looks, what I liked and disliked, etc. She was also very knowledgeable and forthcoming about the connections that makeup has with other aspects of the wedding. For example, early on I said I want a natural and light look, but she suggested that I speak with my photographer about the photographs and editing process. Luckily I did, because the photographs for my photographer are edited much lighter so if I went with something super light, I would have looked like I had no makeup on. Her advice made me think of things about makeup that I would have never considered and I am grateful she was able to help me in this manner because it made the photographs better, in my opinion. Another example is in the trial, she did the look and I loved it but then 1 week before the wedding (woops!) I was feeling I wanted it a bit more glam. She was quick to respond and said no problem and then the day of, she totally delivered! She is so customer service oriented and was respectful of each person's preferences, likes and dislikes, etc. My mom was so picky about her makeup look the morning of the wedding and while I was "stressed" that mom was being so tough, Christina made my mom feel super comfortable, justified in her feelings and frankly, like a queen!

uldn't find a bridal style that resonated with mine. I have never worn much makeup and all of my encounters with makeup artists have been terrible — until I met Christina. She made me feel so supported, and patiently worked with me to figure out a look that made me feel comfortable. She didn't push any products or guilt me into looking a certain way, which has happened with other artists. In addition to being extremely professional and COVID conscious, she is also such a warm and genuine person to be around. On the wedding day, she showed up early, worked her magic, and I truly felt more beautiful and confident than I could have imagined — but also exactly like MYSELF, which was huge to me. I cannot thank her enough for rolling with all the punches of our pandemic wedding changes, and for being a huge part of making me finally feel like a bride on the day of.
