Christina is incredible. I knew she had the most creative eye and unbelievable talent, but working with her I also realized how just.. cool she is!! Even when we had to completely overhaul the wedding plan, Christina worked with us to come up with a customized plan for what we needed. She made things feel so organized and relaxed my whole wedding day, and found the most unique and gorgeous spots to take pictures! Everyone in the bridal party separately commented how awesome she was throughout the wedding day. And she knew EVERYONE BY NAME! Exceptional.

Christina photographed our wedding and did our engagement photos also. Photos meant a lot to me for our special day, because I know I will cherish them forever. Christina’s photos perfectly captures the happiness and love on our wedding day. They are the most beautiful and natural photos and I look back at them and relive my entire wedding day. Christina as a professional is top notch. Prompt, responsive, and really listens. She also has a calming presence that was really helpful on my wedding day. I reached out to Christina about a year before we got married - we were on the fence about having a videographer but wanted to capture video of my now husband's 96 year old grandma. Given her name by our photographer, I reached out. Christina and I met at a coffee shop close by and once we started chatting I knew that Christina was perfect for us on our big day (plus: she loves dogs). We were so grateful for her kindness and patience during our big day. She was so professional and attentive to detail. We got many compliments regarding her! As for our finished product - we LOVE the video and we are SO thankful that she was part of our big day. She made sure to get some extra shots of grandma too :)

I found Christina through a friend who had used her for her wedding. I knew right away that when I eventually got married I would definitely be hiring Christina as my wedding photographer. Christina is so easy to work with and her photos are incredible. She not only captured great images of us but also our guests as well. We still have trouble picking our favorites. Oh my goodness....If we could give Christina 100 stars, we would. She was AMAZING!!! We debated about doing a highlight video and WOW were we ever glad that we did. There are no words for Christina and her art. She isn’t just a photographer, she is truly an artist. We were able to describe our vision and not only did she understand it but she enhanced it and made it truly spectacular. She loves our venue, the Heinz History Center, and knew all of those best places to go. We loved Christina! Our wedding ceremony was in the Hall of Sculpture at the Carnegie Museums with our reception in the Music Hall Foyer. Having an experienced wedding photographer that has already shot your venue is a must! You make so many decisions about your wedding and you often feel like you are sort of just guessing and so it was refreshing to have a professional early in our wedding plan. My husband and I are clowny and Christina was able to handle our humor while keeping us on task. Speaking of which, during the day of our wedding, she excelled at being everywhere, but not being intrusive. She expertly managed the groomsmen; not a small feat! Now to her work product; fantastic! She captured plenty of the required / staged pictures, but also the spirit of the day and the personalities of our guests. Of all the things that you are going to have for the rest of your life, your wedding pictures are one of them and I am so glad we entrusted Christina with that and she did not let us down. Christina was absolutely amazing. Leading up to the wedding day, she was quick to respond to emails and open to any ideas I had. As a bride, I had some specific ideas about where I wanted photos taken and Christina was completely open to and excited about whatever I came up with. At the last minute I asked her to also come photograph our rehearsal dinner and I'm so glad she did! Since the photos have come out, I have had so many friends and family members reach out to me to tell me how beautiful the pictures are. I knew they would be beautiful from seeing her work but I was blown away. Probably the best part was that Christina and Pamela are fun! On your wedding day you spend a good amount of time with your photographer and we felt like we were spending time with friends that we had known forever. I 100% recommend Christina!

Christina is amazing! Do not hesitate to book with her. Our wedding was at St. Paul Cathedral and the Carnegie Music Hall Music Foyer in Pittsburgh, PA. We found Christina listed on someone's wedding website as the photographer for their wedding and we loved her work. We met with Christina back in January 2015 for our July 2016 wedding. Immediately after meeting her we knew we wanted to book with her. We had our engagement shoot in June 2015 and we loved those pictures and the experience. Christina had great ideas on different locations and helped us pick the best ones. When it came to the wedding day she was punctual and stayed until the last moment! At one point we were walking to our after party at a local bar and I was shocked to see Christina was still taking pictures! It was awesome. The other photographer working with her was also punctual and fabulous. We are now working on creating an album, which is also a great experience. Christina had me over to her home to review the album! Such a kind talented person. She had the wedding pictures ready in less than 3 weeks after the wedding and had ones on her blog almost immediately which we loved looking at on our honeymoon. She is also very accommodating when it comes to printing pictures, she offers a letter giving you permission to have the pictures printed. I ran into a snag with not having permission for a very strict photo women at Walmart, I emailed Christina and she sent me the permission almost immediately! Do not hesitate to book with Christina for your wedding!

If you choose Christina as your wedding/engagement photographer, it will be one of the best decisions you make during the whole wedding process. She is absolutely fantastic and has an uncanny ability to capture emotion in her photographs. Our families are so thrilled with our wedding and engagement pictures, they simply could not be better. We worked with Christina for both our engagement and wedding photos and we could not have been happier with the process or the final outcome - our wonderful photos. Christina was the first and last photographer with whom we met during our wedding planning and we have recommended her several times since. She was extremely easy to work with - very laid back, which complemented our personalities very well. Our families also loved working with her. We said from the beginning we did not want very many formal shots but rather wanted pictures that helped us remember how much fun the day was - and that's exactly what we got. Christina and her assistant joined the bridal party in between the ceremony and the reception and got some great shots of us relaxing, goofing off and even playing some beer pong (much to our mothers' dismay when they saw the final pictures- haha!). She got some really awesome candids during the reception, as well. Many people have said they rarely look at their wedding photos - that's not true for us. We have our album in our family room so anyone visiting can see them and we frequently pull them up on our computer and look through them to remember the day. We look forward to recommending Christina to our friends and family and to working with her again!

Christina was wonderful - we loved having her as our photographer. Photography for our wedding was something we knew we wanted done right, so we needed a real pro. We got to know Christina better and her style of photography through an engagement session, which was also helpful in getting us more comfortable with taking so many photos in public. Leading up to our wedding day, she was always on top of letting us know what we should think about and plan out in a detailed timeline. We also knew we would be having a second photographer, which was beneficial in getting shots of both me/my bridesmaids and my husband/groomsmen before the wedding AND different angles during the ceremony/reception. I felt like we could just relax on our wedding day and enjoy it - and relaxing is not something that comes easily to me. It is now about a month after our wedding and Christina has already given us all of our photos to look over digitally, download and do with them whatever we want to do. There's so many beautiful photos, we couldn't be happier and the hardest part is trying to figure out which ones we want to put in our album. There's just too many! We are so glad we went with Christina - we can promise you, you won't be disappointed!

Christina was a phenomenal photographer and was able to not only capture our wedding perfectly, but also our relationship. We LOVED working with her - she was easy going and really made us feel relaxed the first time we met her before our engagement session. We were able to get our wedding pictures done before the ceremony, which was absolutely the best idea and not one I would have thought of without Christina bringing it up as a possibility. Amazing!!! Choosing Christina as my photographer was one of thee best decisions I made when planning my wedding! Pictures were my number one concern / priority. I would recommend Christina to every bride! She was recommended to me by our venue coordinator. After looking at her website, loving her style, and contacting her - we met in person so I could ask a zillion questions (being that after actually marrying my husband my pictures were most important to me.) Christina met my fiancé and I at a coffee shop and went over all the specifics (and my questions) and was so down to earth and easy to be around. I knew right away I wanted her to be our photographer. She asked us questions and I felt like it was important to her to get to know us a little bit. I can be picky (gasp) and I loved our pictures. My pictures are exactly what I wanted. Actually they are better. She was able to tell us to move this way or that way to get a great shot- but would also allow us our sweet sentimental moments. In one of the reviews I read before I met her- it said that it was so nice that she wasn't intrusive and at times you didn't know she was there. That was important to my fiancé. He didn't want photographers with big cameras interrupting the flow of the day. She was perfect! The review was totally accurate. During the ceremony I didn't even know she was there. :) The morning of the wedding she came to my hotel while I was getting ready and jumped right in and started taking pictures. We did a first look with just my fiancé and I and Christina and her assistant. It was a great moment. We had a big crazy bridal party and she definitely helped with the flow of the day and keeping us on track with time etc. We thought it would be cool to get a picture of our big group under the goal post in front of our venue and Christina laid in the street - literally in the gutter - to get the picture! What a great shot!Christina and her assistant are friendly, professional and easy to be around. My pictures are stunning. Everyone has just raved about them and Christina. I would chose her again in a heartbeat!

Christina was very friendly and professional as a photographer. She got great photos and really allowed us to just be ourselves during the entire day. Christina Montemurro is an absolutely WONDERFUL photographer! She was amazing to work with from start to finish! In addition to being extremely knowledgeable about photography, she is also a great resource for information about the wedding industry in Pittsburgh. We asked her for recommendations on florists, djs, and videographers. Well, we ended up choosing every single one of her recommendations. We truly had the dream team of vendors all thanks to Christina! Christina really takes the time to get to know you as an individual AND as a couple! This is then portrayed in the amazing photos that she takes! She is always available to give her input, but she also takes any ideas that you as a couple want to throw out there. We had engagement photos done with Christina in June. My fiance REALLY wanted a picture at sunset, but the sky wasn't cooperating for the most part. We were on our way back to our meeting spot and Christina noticed that the sun was coming through and lighting up the sky for a completely beautiful sunset. Instead of calling it quits and going home, she asked if we could change the plans a bit, head to Schenley Park, and get that sunset photo that my fiance really wanted! This is just a small example of Christina's work ethic - She goes ABOVE AND BEYOND all of the time! Her work is GORGEOUS! We chose to have a second photographer for the day of the wedding and Alyssa, her assistant, is also wonderful! They are both so talented while also being so nice and fun to be around! My family doesn't LOVE to have their photos taken, but warmed up and were completely comfortable with Christina and Alyssa capturing the day on film! Everyone absolutely LOVES the photos that were taken that day! My husband and I have no idea how to narrow down the selection of pictures that we want to order! I 100% recommend Christina Montemurro - the photos will completely WOW you!

Christina captured the images my husband and I wanted the most - the ones that documented our wedding day. She also did a great job of making sure we got the formal portraits my mom wanted too. She and her second shooter(s) were very professional and were hardly noticeable. A lot of my guests didn't even realize that we had photographers there the whole time. Christina is a total professional. She took absolutely beautiful photos of our wedding. It was a gloomy fall Pittsburgh day - she made it look like we were in the middle of summer! I would recommend her to anyone.

Christina was our wedding photographer (along with her second shooter and a helper). In my opinion, wedding photography is one of the most important things you'll spend your money on. When the big day is over, it's the pictures you have to show for it -- and Christina is an excellent choice. From our first meeting, she was always very professional and prompt in her responses. She is easily accessible for questions. She is very responsible and will be in touch with you for details about your wedding day -- this is very helpful, since the last few weeks beforehand can get very busy -- but she is there to keep following up with you so that details about your requests aren't missed! During the actual wedding day, she is working hard, from start to finish. We gave her a list of specific photos we wanted (formal) and she had a game plan ahead of time. She'll do whatever it takes to get the best shot, whether it's standing on a ladder or getting low to the ground. She's not afraid to put herself in the middle of the action -- without getting in the way -- to get the perfect shot. The photos themselves are of extremely high quality. There is a mix of artistic shots and formal photos. She has experience throughout the whole Pittsburgh area, and has been to many venues. This allows her to offer suggestions on where to get the best shots! Note, because she has been photographing weddings in the Pittsburgh area for several years, she is familiar with many of the vendors, which can be helpful on the wedding day. It was very reassuring when we told our venue who our photographer was, and they replied, "Great choice -- she does a wonderful job!" After the wedding, she put up a preview of our pictures on her blog, which was a great way for us to see some of our pictures within the week of the wedding. We were able to share these with family and friends -- many who commented that they were the most professional, beautiful wedding photographs they've ever seen. I would strongly recommend a second shooter, if your budget allows for one. The second shooter can get other angles for pictures, as well as help with lighting and organization throughout the day. Well worth the investment. Plus, her second shooter Alisa was very professional and kind! She was able to catch the groom's photos while they were getting ready, all while Christina was with the brides' side of things. With regards to price, Christina's prices are about average for the Pittsburgh area. She is very fair and reasonable in her pricing. We bought the package that includes rights to all the photos -- I would definitely recommend that. She puts them in a secure, online gallery where you can download them as soon as they're available. Very convenient. Lastly, when picking out our photo album, she is very modern in her approach. She had an iPad with her to quickly show us options from the album vendors (specifically for album cover layouts). She had many in-person examples of albums as well! Without a doubt, hiring Christina as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. If you are thinking about hiring her, just do it. You won't regret it, and you'll have beautiful pictures to show!!

Christina was absolutely wonderful and easy to work with. My husband and I bonded with her during our engagement session so much that she went on to do family photos for both of my sisters. It poured on my wedding day but Christina made the rain look magical. Christina is the official Penland/Yoffee photographer....she just doesn't know it yet :)

My wife and I used Christina's services both for the engagement photos, and during our wedding ceremony and reception. When we initially met her, she was easy going and very flexible in regards to our planning. She went out of her way during our engagement session to stay late for us to make sure we got all the photos that we wanted. The wedding itself and the reception that followed both went smoothly. We are very happy with the quality of photos that were taken, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. If you want a photographer that is easy going and takes excellent photos, you can't go wrong with choosing Christina.

We can't say enough good things about Christina. She was fantastic to work with - We currently live in Virginia, so we had to do most of our discussions and details over the phone, but I knew that she had it all under control. We did an engagement session with her as well and were very happy with the photos that she took. For the wedding, the online tools that she has were great - it was so easy to communicate with her and list family members for photos so that it was organized on our wedding day. On our actual wedding day, Christina showed up to the hotel early with her assistant Nicki. They both were so great and organized with our "first look" photos, bridal party and family photos. Everything was seamless! They both captured our day beautifully and were discrete during the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. She put up a "teaser" blog of a few photos before we even left for our honeymoon and she had posted and sent out all of our proofs less than a month after the wedding! Overall, Christina is fantastic and is a sure bet for your wedding photographer!!!!

I found Christina through a friend on Facebook who had used her for her wedding. I was sold as soon as I saw her work. My mom and I met with her and decided on the spot that we wanted to go with her. She customized a package for us since we had an unusually long day (ceremony was at 11am). Our engagement pictures turned out beautifully, and our wedding pictures exceeded expectations (which were quite high because of the engagement session). She was very responsive and a breeze to work with.

Christina was great to work with! She was very organized and definitely knew what she was doing. During our engagement session she was good at putting us at ease-we’re fairly awkward picture takers :) During the wedding she and her second shooter were very unobtrusive but they still captured all of the shots that I had wanted and more. We got our disc with the photos really quickly-she even had some teasers up on her website before we left for our Honeymoon. Overall, I was really pleased with the quality of her shots and thought that her packages were really reasonably priced.

Christina was our photographer for both our engagement photos and our wedding, and she did an absolutely phenomenal job. She was great to work with, and never invasive. I didn't even notice she was there for most of the reception, but she caught some amazing pictures! She has an excellent attention to detail and a great eye for capturing pictures that represent peoples' personalities. On a professional level, Christina was very prompt and businesslike, and answered all of the questions that we had(even ones that were probably stupid!). She was careful to respect our wishes, but also had some excellent suggestions that never crossed our minds. In terms of pricing, I thought that her packages were reasonable, especially for the quality. We chose the $2300 package, including two photographers for 8 hours, as well as all of the rights to the photographs.
