Christine's Alterations

Christine worked absolute wonders on my wedding dress! There is colorful appliqué over the entire dress and Christine was able to alter the waist and bust by several sizes without removing the appliqué. Her stitching is beautiful and precise, you cannot tell that the dress was substantially altered. Christine also hemmed the dress perfectly and maintained the beautiful edging on the bottom of the dress. Several guests at my wedding asked whether I had the dress created for me because it fit so well. I recommend Christine to all brides, especially those with less than traditional dresses! Christine was an absolute joy to work with and her prices are extremely reasonable!

I got my wedding dress altered by Christine and I’m so happy that I did! Christine was great to work with: she shortened my straps, added bra cups, shortened the dress, and added a bustle. She was responsive and upfront in what the cost would be throughout the process. I felt like she really listened to what my day-of needs would be and didn’t try to pressure me to make alterations that I wasn’t happy with. As an example I’m an avid folk dancer and knew that I would need the flexibility to be able to dance without worrying about my dress ripping or being uncomfortable. When she did the bustle, she made sure to make two loops for each button to go through, in case one of them ripped. That extra security really helped me to be confident on the dance floor. The whole wedding day, everyone was commenting on how well the dress fit me. I was so happy with the job she did on my wedding dress, I ended up taking an old bridesmaid dress to her to make it more wearable for events (moved the straps and shortened it). I recently wore the old bridesmaid dress to another wedding and got so many compliments on it. I would recommend Christine to anyone who is looking to get alterations done!

Christine altered 2 bridesmaid dresses and my wedding dress and all 3 were perfectly altered. She is reasonable and honest in her pricing. She ensured every dress fit perfectly and was comfortable for sitting and dancing in!

Christine with Christine's Alterations will put all your alteration fears to rest. I bought a dress at a sample sale that was at least 2 sizes too big and super baggy. I had nightmares about it being altered wrong or still being super huge for my wedding. Shopping for a place to get alterations is hard and letting someone cut up you dress is even harder. But Christine is super knowledgeable and experienced and helped lessen all my alteration fears. She walked me through all her plans at the first meeting, and assured me that she would meet with me as many times as needed to get it right. In the end, my dress fit like a glove (not like the baggy sack I initially bought). So many compliments. As a bonus: Christine's prices are super reasonable! I shopped around initially and this was the best deal I could find that had the best reviews.

Trust Christine with your wedding dress! She truly cares about every bride and makes sure every small detail on the dress is perfect. She did a phenomenal job on my dress, even with having to work with my zipper and lots of beading on the top of the dress.

Christine is a miracle worker, hands down. My dress came in way too large, and she was able to take it in what had to have been almost three sizes while still maintaining the shape and integrity of the dress. The dress had an intricate lace overlay, and Christine was careful to realign the lace after taking it in so that the design looked the same as when I had purchased it. She worked with me over multiple appointments to make sure everything was just right, and on my wedding day it fit absolutely perfectly. On top of all this, Christine's prices are incredibly reasonable and she is transparent with her pricing. Highly, highly recommend!

She told me exactly what she was going to do to my dress, asked my opinion about everything, made sure I was comfortable with every little change and worked ahead of the timeline she originally gave me! Christine was amazing to work with. She had to do so much to my dress due it being too big and too long. She hemmed almost every part of my lace dress. It turned out perfect and looked like it was made just for me in the end. She made sure to ask me before doing anything to the dress. Christine made me feel at ease and super affordable when compared to other alteration companies. I know brides that paid double elsewhere and need half the work compared to my dress. She does a lot of dresses throughout the year and I was lucky enough to get on her schedule. Highly recommend!

I discovered Christine through rave reviews on her Facebook page and called her to set up an appointment. My dress was somewhat complicated with its alterations because of a detailed lace overlay. Christine was able to take it in multiple sizes and adjust it to fit me like a glove. Additionally, she was able to hem the complicated scalloped edge of my dress in a unique way with her expert artistic eye. Her fee was reasonable and worth every penny, and the alteration appointments felt like a family member was resizing my dress, despite having never met her. I couldn't recommend her enough as someone to trust with one of the most important aspects of your wedding day.

Christine did an excellent job on the bustle and sleeves of my wedding dress! Great quality and pricing! I was lucky to get my wedding dress early (March) so I was able to get in for an appointment before her busy season. Definitely give her a call, but be aware that she has a LOT of people coming to her, so get in as early as you can!

Christine did such a wonderful job! She altered my wedding dress, 3 bridesmaid dress and 1 flower girl dress. She spent the time with us figuring out what we wanted and talking through the changes she would be making. She really helped us understand what needed to be done. Also, one of my bridesmaids was from way out of town and wasn't able to come until a month before the wedding for her 1st fitting and then then week of the wedding for final. Christine did a fantastic job with my dress. She was honest and did not try to sell me alterations that I did not need. She was knowledgeable about wedding dresses, and presented us with multiple options along with their pros and cons. She was patient and detail-oriented. Pricing was straightforward--we agreed on a flat fee beforehand, which would not change even if I had to come back for a second or third fitting (I only needed one). I would definitely recommend Christine.

Christine is the best! I thought my wedding dress fit pretty well, but after she was done it didn't move (strapless). She took the time to go through different bustle options, and then even more time at the next appointment to practice bustling my dress with my sister. It definitely made it easier on the wedding day for her to already know where to find the crochet loops. Christine also altered my sister's maid-of-honor dress perfectly. We were both so happy! Would highly recommend Christine for any wedding dress (or other dress) alterations!
