The best photographers. Dedication to their profession, take their work to the next level all while making you laugh and at ease.
Christman Photography was by far one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding. During our initial zoom call meeting, we felt such great vibes from Preston and Laure...
tte and knew that after speaking to them that they were the perfect fit for us. Not only is their photography breathtaking, but they also have tons of knowledge when it comes to weddings such as timelines, first looks, and other details. In our package, we also received an engagement photo session a few months before our wedding. This was such an awesome part of the package since we were able to meet Preston and get to know him before the big day. He made us feel so comfortable and it was a fun and enjoyable experience. Fast forward to our big day, and everything went perfectly. We definitely attribute a huge part of that to Christman Photography. They were almost like mini coordinators for the day and we felt so at ease. They captured all of our special moments and helped the day run smoothly. We finally received our custom wedding album the other day from them and it is everything we could have wanted. Overall Christman Photography is professional, talented, fun, creative, flexible, and reliable. If you are looking for an awesome wedding photographer we would 100% recommend!!
Where to begin…the winter of 2020. I got engaged and out of nowhere I was throwing our names around to win an engagement session giveaway with any photographer. Then one morning my...
mother-in-law sent me a Facebook engagement session giveaway with Christman Photography. I read the recommendations and all I had to do was tell my husband and I’s story. So that is what I did and within the next couple of days we had a zoom meeting with Preston Christman. We got to know each other and everything Christman photography had to offer, and we were one in many people who put our names in for this giveaway, so we thought there was no chance we were winning. But we watched the live feed of Preston and his wife Laurette announcing the winners of the giveaway and we were selected. We were so excited to being able to work with such a fun person from the first encounter we had with Preston.
We ended up having our engagement session on October 2021 at Lockridge Park. I wanted a fall themed engagement session, so I trusted Preston with giving me a couple options to pick from and I was stunned with how these pictures turned out. Anyways on first official in person encounter, Preston and Laurette were warm and welcoming people. Throughout the engagement session we had many laughs with our dog Max, leaves being thrown, Preston getting his butt wet for the perfect picture, and even Preston helping Bryce by holding his hand and teaching him how to hip bump and swing. We had such a blast and once we got a preview of our pictures, I knew right away that I wanted to book them for our wedding. So, I made sure to secure my spot with them for September 2, 2023.
Next, wedding planning! We had a one-on-one phone call with Preston and Laurette to discuss the time frame of our wedding to make sure we captured everything we wanted to for our special day. We were able to plan everything the way we both pictured it and the photos at the end did not disappoint and it was planned and captured above our expectations. Before, during and after the ceremony the pictures that were captured seem magical and don’t seem real, they are breathtaking. We had so much fun dancing the night away and even had our special last dance together captured forever in picture.
Next on our wedding adventure with Christman Photography was planning our wedding album. We thankfully had a couple weeks to look through the pictures and know what we wanted in our album. So, we took our trip to Preston and Laurette’s studio where they had our album pre-made through the computer and took us on our journey through it via slide show with our first dance song in the background which made me a bit teary eyed reliving the moments shown on the screen. Afterwards we were able to customize the album how we wanted by removing and adding pictures along with the placement of pictures which makes it bittersweet that we can create our album how we want together with Preston and Laurette. We even got to customize everything from the cover to the color and all. We were blown away by how incredible it turned out. Overall, I am so happy we decided to use Christman Photography for our engagement and wedding journey and hope they will come along for the ride for many more sentimental moments we have throughout the years. So, if you are looking for a photographer, I highly recommend Christman Photography you can check them out on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or their website you will not be disappointed.
Our journey with Christman Photo started back in 2021 when we had our engagement session. From the start they were amazing to work with. Patient, creative, inquisitive and just fun...
to be around; they made our session so enjoyable. My now wife and I are easy going people and did not have much in the way of photo or location ideas for our engagement session. But from our survey answers Preston and Laurette were able to create an amazing session that gave us both romantic and fun photos to reflect our engagement on. On that day, we did not just solidify our choice in wedding photographers, but as some new friends as well. They were so easy to work and talk with, that it seemed as if we knew them from some time.
Jumping to our wedding in Nov 2022, we had the same amazing experience with Christman Photography. From the start of the day to the sparkler exit, Preston and Laurette were professional, timely, creative and most importantly, showed interest and drive for their work. We had some ideas for photos throughout the day, and Preston delivered, but we also had rain, which means a good portion of our ideas would not happen. Here is where you want to make sure you have a professional doing your photos; Preston and Laurette had creative ideas in mind, and all we needed to do was trust them. Let me tell you, the rain photo they captured is one of my wifes and my favorites!! We would not have been able to think of that photo at all, and are so glad that Christman Photography is so dedicated to their craft!
But their professionalism and creativity doesn't stop there; we opted to get an album from them as well. They curated a story in photo form. From the start of the day, right down to the exit; our wedding is now immortalized in a gorgeous album that we cannot stop showing off.
We absolutely loved our experience with Christman Photography and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a personal, professional, and unforgettable photo experience.
P.S. We are planning on partaking in a Christmas Mini session with them this Holiday season, and cannot wait to see and work with them again!
Hiring Christman Photography was the best choice I made throughout my entire wedding planning process, and it wasn't even close. Preston is so kind, genuine, and clearly loves what...
he does. Preston helped me feel so much more comfortable during our engagement photos & was great with our two goofy dogs. The photography was absolutely amazing, the customer service is completely unparalleled, and in every single one of those post-wedding conversations, my guests mentioned what a great time Preston was, how professional he was, and how it felt like he was part of the family. I would (and will) use Christman again in a heartbeat!
My hubby and I planned our elopement and found the perfect spot to get married - Columcille Megalith Park and we needed a photographer.
From the first email and first call we knew...
that Christman Photography was who we wanted to shoot our special day.
We loved working with them and they made our magical day even more magical.
A dream to work with and you’ll be even more happy to see the photos! Seriously as an artist myself I am not always impressed with photographers but these photos were honestly breath taking and beautiful.
If you plan on Eloping we highly recommend! Especially if you are self uniting! 🖤
When I started wedding planning I listened to the "Put A Ring On it" podcast quite a bit, which recommending a few things about wedding photographers: 1. Find someone whose photos ...
you like (check). 2. Find someone who you get along with personally, since you spend A LOT of time with them on your wedding day (check). 3. As with all your vendors, try to find someone who will take care of you on your big day, giving you less to worry about (check).
Preston and Laurette of Christman Photography checked all of those boxes and delivered an experience we will be able to remember for the rest of our lives. They were incredibly professional and responsive, but also willing to joke with us and have fun! As a team, they are creative and incredibly good at what they do. We were blown away by the 40 preview photos we received the very next day after our wedding: we can't wait for our entire portfolio and album! We cannot recommend them highly enough and will be going back to them for any other photography needs in the future!
Preston and Laurette are a DREAM to work with!! From the first time we met Preston, we knew he was the photographer we wanted to work with. Both Preston and Laurette are extremely ...
passionate, knowledgeable and FUN! They have a way of creating the most beautiful, organic moments that allow your photos to look natural and showcase you and your partner's personality and love. On top of all of that, for a type A bride like I was, they eased my mind so much with how thorough they were with the questionnaires, timelines, responsiveness, communicating with our venue/vendors, etc.
Our engagement photos and wedding gallery are better than we could've dreamed and our family and friends say they are THE BEST wedding photos they've ever seen. They truly captured everything.
We highly recommend Christman Photography to everyone!
Christman photography went above and beyond, not only on our wedding day, but with any other encounter we had with them.

r wedding. They made it fun and they also joined in on the fun, which made it even better! My family had nothing but good things to say about them!
The love for what they do really shows and it only made us happy to have them share our special day with us!
Preston and Laurette were the best ever!!
From our initial meeting back in January 2021 Preston made our experience so comfortable he truly got to know us as a couple and during ou...
r engagement session he was able to build off that rapport and make my fake smile hating husband (fiancé at the time) super comfortable he didn’t even have to fake his smiles! When we received those pictures, they exceeded our expectations! Our engagement session happened in April of 2021 and we didn’t get married until SEPTEMBER OF 2022! During that time Preston and Laurette kept in contact with us making sure we didn’t need any help finding other vendors or had any additional questions. Once we got closer to the wedding, Preston and Laurette made sure to reach out to ensure they had all the pictures we wanted to get done that day listed out they also aided in our decision to add extra time as well as adding Laurette as an extra shooter for our day! During our wedding day we were able to “relax” and have them run us around and keep us on time! They made sure we got ever picture we wanted/needed. They even gave us a surprise at the end of our day! Our picture preview was available that Monday and I couldn’t wait to get the rest of them! Once we received the rest of them it was time to start planning our album and let me just say the album they put together literally made me cry!! We of course were able to make any edits we wanted/needed.
I can’t recommend these two enough! Do your self a favor and book with them today!
Laurette and Preston are two of the most amazing people & photographers! I can’t even begin to describe the type of service we have received from them. When we knew we wanted to bo...
ok with them they set up a call right away to get to know us better. Once that happened we booked our engagement session, then picked the package we wanted. A couple of weeks prior to the wedding we got on another call and they laid out our day for us and what they were going to do and where they were going to be. They even came to the rehearsal so they could get to know the Deacon and Church better prior to the wedding. If that doesn’t scream service I don’t know what does! The pictures were posted as a sneak peek only 1-2 days after the wedding! They were amazing by the way. Breath taking! Exactly 4-5 weeks after the wedding we got a link to our whole album. They captured every moment possible. Moments that Pat and I will cherish for the rest of our lives. We added videography onto our package as well and let me tell you, it’s not your average wedding video. I literally cried watching it and it was just a sneak peak! I highly recommend Preston and Laurette (and their team)!!

y less stressful from beginning to end. Preston and Laurette kindness made it so easy for not just us but everyone around to feel comfortable and have fun. The photographs are a work of art and we could not be happier with how they came out!
We met Preston and Laurette when they did a Christmas mini session for our first family photos and ever since we hit that follow button on Instagram we were amazed by their talent....
Preston took both our engagement and wedding photos and made each session fun and memorable. He really values capturing real moments - and puts effort into some hilarious games/activities he asks you to do to encourage genuine laughter. It meant a lot to us that he loved including our fur baby in these memories.
Communication was so easy and they have a wonderful program to help customers stay on track with plans. We loved that we were able to meet a few times to discuss what our wedding day timeline would look like. This was extremely helpful, as we were doing everything ourselves and did not have a day of coordinator.
We cannot say enough about the amazing quality of our photos and our time spent with Preston. Our wedding guests were so happy that he asked if they wanted photos together and loved that "he got down on the ground to get that shot!". He surprised us with Poloroids of special moments on our wedding day before he left and that was the sweetest gesture. Preston & Laurette truly make you feel like you are engaging in a friendship. You would be a fool to pass on booking this team ❤️

The absolute best decision I made was booking Preston and Laurette as my wedding photographers. I feel so lucky to have found them on the Knot! Preston was wonderful to work with ...
every step of the way and helped to make my wedding planning less stressful! Our engagement session was fun and we got such beautiful photos!! Preston accommodated every ask we had, which included running all around Ricketts Glenn state park! I can’t thank them enough for the beautiful wedding and engagement photos and for the help planning our wedding day so it went as smoothly as possible! We even booked our videographer through them. Thank you for everything! You both don’t realize how wonderful you are and I appreciate you going the extra mile for us the whole time! Thank you, thank you!!!
Laurette and Preston are not only two of the best people, but two of the best photographers. Without them, our engagement shoot and wedding photos would not have been as amazing. S...
ince the start, their communication with my husband and I as clients was meticulous and thorough; there were hardly any additional questions we ever had. The Christmans have the ability to empathize with their couples, as they are one themselves. They do not hesitate to model how they want you to pose, and they add humor to make you feel more comfortable. This is easier to comprehend when it comes from a professional couple who also love each other and have endured the wedding experience themselves. To our surprise, they also took candids and portraits of many of our guests at our wedding, and it not only made our guests feel acknowledged by the photographers, it was also great to look at since we didn't interact with everyone at every minute. Needless to say, our guests also still talk about how great our photographers were, yet I cannot recall any photographers from other weddings I've attended (lol). These two are not the type of photographers that make you feel like you're in the way or obstructing their view. They will go to great lengths to get the shot, no matter the position they need to get into. At our engagement shoot, Preston was on crutches, and though he didn't need to, he still brought in an additional photographer to make sure the shots were perfect. Our guests and bridal parties still rave about how wonderful our photographers were because they were professional but still involved themselves into the fun of our wedding process and day; they let us be us, but they didn't make it solely about us- they understood how much everyone around us also meant. There are many candids of Laurette and Preston and the videographer in our wedding gallery, and they're hysterical. They would dance with the guests, laugh with us, help to fix my bustle when my bridesmaids weren't readily available, and even held a restless baby, so mom could be in the shot. Laurette and Preston are personable and joyous individuals who are adaptable and competent; they are truly dedicated to you as their clients and friends. My husband and I cannot recommend them enough to our friends, family, and now you (the internet world); we're so thankful to have met them and feel like we've made new friends for life!
Christman Photography was at the very top of my vendor list and they did NOT disappoint!! Their marvelous way of getting to know who we are to capture the best moments and memories...
was and incredible experience and every meeting with them sublime. Not only did we walk away with two weddings (Covid and post-Covid) and our engagement session perfectly documented, but also an incredible wedding album we will cherish for the rest of forever! If you're looking for personality and heart when capturing your perfect day, you have no where else to look but Christman Photography.
Absolutely stunning photos. They were fantastic throughout the whole process and on the day of it was as if we just had three more friends celebrating our big day.

ndset, and that was due in a huge way to our amazing photographers, Preston and Laurette of Christman Photography. Our wants, needs, and dreams of the moments we wanted captured were always at the forefront of their mind from the first consultation to the day we received our gallery. We can’t say enough great things about them. Our photos take our breath away every time we look at them. We are excited to be able to prove to our future children and family that there was in fact a day where we looked like models. Christman Photography are just out of this world talented, fun, and everything you want for your wedding day!
Preston and Laurette are a powerhouse. They get so in the groove when in their natural habitat of photography. From the beginning, Preston & Laurette showed professionalism, talent...
, and passion in photography and from then on, my husband and I knew we wanted them to photograph our wedding. The whole process was such a breeze as a bride. Preston and Laurette are extremely organized and this allowed for everything to work very smoothly from our meetings with each other, to the payments, and to the big day! They made sure we got everything we wanted and more. My husband and I are very simple people and we didn't want to take too much time getting our pictures taken and away from our guests. They completely understood what we wanted and didn't push for anything they didn't think we wouldn't want to do. All we cared about was having a blast with our guests and getting that captured and Preston and Laurette nailed it. You will not regret booking your wedding with them, I promise that.

te best shots possible! Like getting their camera wet from a Budweiser beer spray shot! ;) they’re both seriously amazing and so kind and caring and become friends and family instantly! It’s not business it’s personal first with them and that makes everything super comfortable and fun! We’ve said and will continue to say that choosing them as our photographers was our best investment and choice when it came to our wedding (other than picking each other of course) :)

We are reliving every aspect of our special day thanks to Christman Photography!
We would recommend them to anyone for any event.

After chatting with Preston the first time, I knew we had made the right decision to hire Christman Photography for our wedding. The process went very smooth and I never felt like ...
I was in the dark about anything. He is a great communicator and always kept me updated with a timeline of when to expect things. He made my husband and I feel very comfortable in front of the camera at our engagement photos which translated over to when he was shooting our wedding. Our wedding photos speak for themselves. I liked how he wanted to try different things based on the lighting or scenery but also got all of the specific photos we wanted. Throughout the process, Preston went from being a photographer to a friend. Preston has been amazing to work with and I would highly recommend him to capture your special day.
There's alot to say about booking a new wedding photographer in the middle of pandemic and not knowing whether your wedding will actually happen the way you planned it. It seemed ...
like everything in the wedding process had a Plan A, B, and C- including our photographer. Like so many things - we are so glad Plan A didn't work out.
First, my (now) husband and I are not the sort of people who are into getting our pictures taken. We sort of you know hate it, but Preston and Laurette put us at ease both by showing of amazing work and just by their easy going manner and creative drive. They did better than our Plan A.
Second, Preston's a man with a plan on how to shoot your wedding. He shared it with us (and Plan B and Plan C) and we then were able to refine it and all get on the same page as the world was changing and adapting. And then he actuallly followed through with the whole thing and did what we wanted.
Third, all photos were respectful and appropriate at our church ceremony. We heard only good things from folks who interacted with him during the whole day. See previous comment about easy going manner.
Here's the most important thing though...while shooting the wedding, this artist hurt his ankle. Like starting to swell and look purple. But he didn't let that stop him. He strapped ice to his swelling ankle and finished off the night snapping all sorts of pictures.
He's talented and skilled and amazing and he photographs through the pain.
Laurette and Preston are a great creative team. You will not be disappointed with their work. You will be at ease, even when you have to go to Plan B.
We are so grateful we chose Christman Photography! We were bombarded with so many recommendations from everywhere across the map, but when it came down to it, choosing someone clos...
e to home was the best choice we could have made. From the very first zoom interview, through our album design session after the wedding, not to mention everything in between, the process was excellent, and they are SO professional! Preston really was a key part in not only helping us capture the day, but also plan for it! They blended seamlessly into our wedding day, and were so fun to hang out with, it was hard to tell they were working, but did they ever! The proof is in the pictures, which are so fantastic and reflect the day - and us - so perfectly. Preston really is an artist; a phenom at making light work, even on our foggy engagement session day and the brilliant mid-afternoon sun at our reception. Laurette, his wife and fantastic partner, even took some priceless Polaroids to give us that night! The unexpected attention to detail in the service that Christman Photography provides really makes it so special. The literal memories, both captured in front of the lense and the friendship we made with the people behind it, are such a gift!

s year has not been easy for anyone, but Preston was so professional and understanding and willing to roll with any changes that came his way. He traveled to us for our engagement photos and even went in a waterfall for the perfect background! Because of pandemic restrictions and our new baby we weren't available for photos sometimes but he still managed to take so many fantastic photos of us and all of our family and friends and because he has an amazing personality everyone at our wedding loved him! He really helped our guests feel important and have a great time. Everyone commented how awesome our photographer was! Many of our friends and family used his photos of them to hang on their own walls! The wedding album he created for us will be cherished for many years to come. My husband and I highly recommend Preston Christman Photography.
