When we left our engagement shoot, which was the first time we met Christophe in person, my wife and I decided that we wanted him to photograph every important moment in our lives from now on. We will never have to look for another photographer. I wish I could rate 11/10, because Christophe has earned it.

articular, we thought he excelled in 3 areas: 1) creating natural moments through technical skill and artistic vision, 2) providing his thoughts on what looks good versus just taking orders, and 3) working with us both professionally and engaging us on a personal level, which made us much more at ease and really get to know him better. For the natural moments element, we loved all the pictures he provided. If you look through his website or any albums provided, you can easily tell they are well framed and technically well-produced, but also they really bring out the subjects in a natural environment. This is something we looked for in particular for our wedding photographer, and in both the engagement session and wedding day pictures, we thought that showed itself in spades. In addition, we also appreciated how Christophe balanced incorporating our wants and interests, of course, with his own style and experience. He did an excellent job of meshing both sets of ideas together into one cohesive, thoughtful set of pictures and telling a wonderful, lasting story through the pictures themselves. Truly strong kudos to Christophe here. Lastly, we very much enjoyed working with Christophe. Beyond just the output of the engagement and wedding shoots, we loved working with Christophe. From the first Facetime chat with Christophe through our last pictures with him during our wedding, we both really enjoyed working with him and getting to know him (and his son, who he brought to our wedding and also took some awesome pictures!). At the end of the day, you want to make sure you trust and know your photographer and we thought Christophe did an amazing job of facilitating that with us. Overall, we would thought Christophe was excellent on all dimensions and highly recommend him to others seeking wedding photography – and other occasions!

Christophe showed us he more than just a vendor, he's professional, has great humor, and is very personable. From the moment we started that process, all the way up to us receiving our photos he showed us how we expect every vendor should perform. When we received our photos, I thought Christophe camera had more than the power of capturing photos; the camera brought the photos to life. He was even able to capture over 250 guest in one single shot, ask yourself how that is possible... Christophe captured moments, I honestly believe no other photographer could've possibly captured. What's even better, Christophe was so discreet during every moment no one realized he was there. UNLESS he stopped us for a photo which was very rare, if it wasn't apart the timeline. Speaking of the timeline, Christophe did a phenomenal job of sticking not only to his timeline (upon arriving at the hotel with his assistant) but also sticking to our wedding venue timeline which all lined up perfectly. So thankful to have had Christophe Genty as our photographer.

and manner of a friend. He not only captured the warmth and beauty of the day, but his vision for use of the surrounding scenery enhanced these memorable photographs. The photography package included an engagement shoot, during which he spent many hours with the couple to get to know them, driving to several different beautiful spots in Napa to create a range of backdrops and moods. On the wedding day he came to two different sites ahead of the event; one to photograph the groom’s getting-ready activities and then to the bride’s cottage for the same. We especially appreciated how seamlessly and collegially he worked side-by-side with the videographer (a separate vendor) in relatively small spaces. Christophe was able to put everyone at ease even as we were all posing for photos. He captured so many beautiful scenes with the bride and groom, taking advantage of the gorgeous scenery at our outdoor vineyard and garden venue. He was flexible and responsive to our requests to capture the guests at all the tables, and for all the combinations of family and friends we desired. In short, he was absolutely lovely to work with. His final product is amazing. The photos are beautifully edited, each one we will treasure for a lifetime. We took pictures before, during and after the wedding and absolutely love all of them, especially the after pictures, where Christophe had us do pictures in different scenic parts of the venue (which he had scoped out beforehand). We loved being able to work with Christophe during our engagement session and get an understanding of how to pose and how we worked together. When we saw how amazing our engagement pictures were, we were so excited for our wedding pictures and knew we selected the right photographer! The day of the wedding, Christophe, his assistant, and the second photographer arrived early and listened and understood what we envisioned. There was not one pictured missed throughout the day. They followed the schedule and made sure every picture we wanted was captured. During our church ceremony, Christophe and team took pictures from different angles, but stayed back and let us enjoy the moment. We had expressed we wanted the reception to be photographed but also wanted to enjoy the time with our guests and not be pulled away for pictures of us. Christophe worked out a schedule to get the pictures of us done during the cocktail hour, and during the reception, he took pictures of us and our guests. At times we forgot Christophe was there, but once again he captured every moment and moments we even missed. Our pictures were edited promptly and we can’t express how happy we are. It was so hard to narrow it down to 100 pictures for our album, as all the pictures were album quality. I can’t say enough about Christophe and recommend him to anyone that needs a wedding photographer!

the extra mile to ensure he captures every special moment of the big day (because he knows us brides and grooms will be overwhelmed with emotions and he wants us to have all those beautiful pictures to look back). For example, he visited the venue before we even had to ask to observe the location and made notes the direction of the sun so he could recommend where we should stand to avoid squinting in pictures. He was not shy about 'arranging' us (and our guests) in the nicest way so we could have the best photos. When we worked with him, we felt like we were the only couples he was working with. He was attentive, detailed-oriented, and was always one step ahead of us. For a type-person like me, it was a huge relief working with someone who stayed on top of everything. In addition, Christophe was fun to work with so it was really enjoyable and stress-free during our engagement session as well as on our wedding day, knowing that we were in good hands.

u could tell he had such a positive energy about him! I loved his passion and approach to photography. And after our engagement shoot, we also realized that he is extremely fun! And when you're planning an event that can be stressful, it's important to surround yourself with someone who can make you laugh. Our engagement photos turned out beautiful. Fast forward to a week before our wedding,. I had just told my future husband that I was not only excited to see our guests, but I couldn't wait to see our vendors - especially Christophe! I was extremely relaxed because I had hit the jackpot with my dream team. Christophe was extremely detailed and organized when planning for our photography timeline and there was nothing left to do but wait. The Sunday before our big day, the Napa fires hit. I absolutely did not think that any of our vendors would stick with us, especially with their families and communities so impacted. Imagine my surprise to hear that Christophe was still committed to taking our photos - it was never a question. We were literally in awe at his selflessness. At the last minute, Christophe had to adjust to multiple iterations of "getting ready" venues, and a brand new ceremony and reception spot. Our initial venues were in Yountville, all within walking distance to each other, and all venues that Christophe was already familiar with. Our new venues required a lot of different logistics, were far away from each other, and new to Christophe. To be able to take SUCH beautiful photos of our wedding - with so many last minute changes and unfamiliar areas - is a true testament to his skill, passion for beautiful photos, and loyalty and support for his clients. There are many photographers out there who take beautiful photos. I believe Christophe takes SPECTACULAR photos and this talent and his passion differentiate him. But in my opinion, the true "difference" is who he is as a person - his character. People like him are so rare and we are so grateful that he was part of our special day.

t off – he was incredible. Originally, we had gone with a different photographer who ended up needing to cancel a month prior to our wedding, which made us scramble to find a new photographer. Being out of town, this added a lot of extra pressure for us. When we saw Christophe’s portfolio, we knew we wanted to go with him rather than any of the other photographers our previous photographer had recommended. He facilitated many skype calls with us, to get up to speed on our vision, and provided us with a detailed and practical timeline that included all of our photography wishes. Once we met him in person, he was personable, friendly, funny and made everyone feel really comfortable in front of the camera. He’d show us a few photos throughout the day, and just the little preview screen on his camera made us SO excited to see the final results. He was able to control crowds, the wedding guests and guide my husband and I nicely through the day, and was so prepared for everything (this even included hairspray!). Upon returning to our hometown for our larger reception less than a week later, we received 11 photos that we were able to share at our reception. We’ve now received all the photos, and they are so incredible. Absolutely everyone that I have seen since sharing the photos on social media, has said they are the best wedding photos they’ve ever seen. What ended up starting as quite a stressful, timely issue, ended up being the biggest blessing in disguise. Christophe is amazing.

He allowed us to choose several different locations, we had different outfits + a dog, and we took way more time than he had allotted for. Regardless of all of this, Christophe took his time to capture some of the most beautiful photographs of us. He made sure that when there was an "audience" around us that he would ask them to disperse because he wanted us in our natural setting. He took pictures that we loved. In fact, I made so many canvas prints, I have no where to put them up in our home! On our wedding day, Christophe came with two other photographers. With an Indian family with such high needs, it is imperative to have a photographer who can get the work done and the pictures taken that you have discussed before hand. Christophe did just that. He took every family picture we requested plus so many more. We have so many candid pictures as well and just looking through them allow us to relive the best day of our lives. We knew that photography was something we would cherish for the rest of our lives, that is exactly why we chose Christophe. We had 32 people for a full weekend wedding in Half Moon Bay and he was able to come out two different days for numerous photos. He got some amazing photos at my bridal luncheon, my husbands golf outting, as well as at our rehearsal dinner. The wedding day photos turned out amamzing, and everyone in our family loved him. After months of emails and Skype calls, we flew into San Francisco for the photo shoot. He and his assistant were really great. He even brought an orange umbrella as a prop. The photos shoot was such fun, and we took A LOT of photos. We went to 5 different locations in SF. Once in a while Christophe would show us the photos he took, just to be sure he was on the right track. We really appreciated that he was thinking about what we wanted. He didn't rush the shoot, and the pace was good. We received the photos several weeks later, after flying home. The photos were amazing! Still in awe of how well they turned out. The combination of drama, landscape and uniqueness is exactly what we wanted. We're going to canvas print some of them cos we love them so much. We have no regrets from this entire experience. Christophe was organized and quick to get all the portrait shots we needed on the wedding day so that we could enjoy cocktail hour and social time with friends. There are no sneaky hidden fees - within 6 weeks, we had hundreds of touched up electronic photo files from our wedding day that are ours to keep!

He reached out to several photographers but Christophe was clearly the best. They worked closely together over several weeks to pick the exact spot, considering time of day, lighting and surroundings. Not only are they absolutely stunning (and make us look amazing!), he knew the scenery and what shots would be great and even suggested to my fiance that I wear my hair up so that it wouldn’t block my face, And he offered me touch up powder -- knowing that I would be crying and want to clean up before we took more photos! Christophe may charge a premium for his work, but think about it: A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event. Do you really want to take the risk and have just mediocre pictures that will become the lasting images that you show your kids and grandkids? Trust me, if you have to cut costs somewhere in your wedding, cut it somewhere else. The service of Christophe and his small team was incredible. We immediately felt at ease with him and Lisa, his office manager. They were always communicative, always responsive and ALWAYS friendly. Christophe has this bubbly personality that will really bring the best out of you and your spouse. It is obvious how passionate he is about his work and how he lives for capturing "the moment". During our wedding, we never even noticed the photographers. They were incognito yet getting all the shots at all the angles. Christophe was also very receptive to ideas we had as well. As for the quality of the pictures, one word: WOW. The colors, the framing(background/foreground) of the images (VERY IMPORTANT), the editing (if needed), the crispness of the images, the artistic touch, and of course, the moment....all coming together in every picture. On the wedding day he was great at making sure we got all the different shots we wanted. After working with him i knew I wouldn't have to worry on our special day. Christophe not only created stunning photographs, but he was a joy to work with. Planning a wedding abroad was initially daunting, but we had plenty of email contact with Christopher and Lisa (the studio manager) for a number of months prior to the day. They frequently checked in with us to ask if we had any suggestions or ideas, and were very receptive to our thoughts. All of our requests (style of photographs, locations for shooting, etc.) were accommodated and our questions were always answered quickly. The day before our wedding, Christophe invited us to his studio to show us samples of his previous work, to get know us a little better and to discuss further ideas. On the day, Christophe made the experience enjoyable and fun. He gave us clear, gentle direction and put us at ease. We received the photos in a timely fashion and were delighted with them. Christophe's creativity and enthusiasm resulted in fantastic photographs. The style of photography included both candid and posed shots which was exactly what we wanted. The happy mood of the day was captured perfectly and we have had many, many compliments on how beautiful, natural and romantic the photographs are. . He and his assistant were so lovely and conscienscious throughout the entire event; they captured little and big moments with pure artistry and the photographs turned out beautifully. My husband and I both were so impressed by their ability to work with wedding party, family, vendors, and other guests in order to get the work done. We were happy to have them as part of the event and they felt more like jovial friends than our photographers. I couldn't recommend his services more highly. Plus he has a French accent and everybody loved that!
