sion the last time I had worked with him. He is personable, loves (and is great at) what he does and shows a genuine interest in your needs/wants for your wedding day. He has by far been my favorite vendor to work with, he makes sure to respond to all when we have e-mail correspondence so I wasn't constantly forwarding e-mails on to my finance like I had to do for other vendors. He was always prompt at responding to e-mails and was more than willing to work with us on any requests we had. We first met with Chris for our engagement shoot and had so much fun working with him at the park he had suggested. Given Covid-19, he was respectful about keeping distance/wearing a mask where necessary and we even had some fun with some mask shots. Chris certainly has an eye for the little details and would make sure I swiped away any hairs in my face or adjusted a necklace prior to taking photos, he even would help us with where to place our hands or how best to sit for a certain photo. The turnaround time for our engagement pictures was crazy fast and we were absolutely blown away by the beauty of our pictures. As the wedding day approached, Chris made sure to set up a call to plan out our day and ensure any picture requests that we might have were written down. We had a live document leading up to the wedding day of any pictures we may want along with a list of all formal shots needed. On the day of the wedding, Chris and his partner for the day, Jim, showed up early and got to work taking pictures and staging photos. He kept us on track and on time the entire day and came prepared with a list of all formal shots we had requested. They were also quick to pivot at any last-minute requests we had. Chris also made sure to get an amazing night shot right before they headed out for the night. Following the wedding Chris kept us updated with timing of photos and what to expect. Even with the wedding, he blew us away with how quickly he provided us the wedding photos and each and every one was absolutely stunning. For this particular event we did not choose to purchase a photo book as it wasn’t in our budget; however, for the last event I did have Chris complete a photo album and the process was super smooth – Chris would draft the initial copy of the book and then I would be able to add comments/notes about possible changes I would like to see. There would be a couple iterations of this process and the end result was absolutely beautiful. If it’s in your budget, I’d highly recommend having Chris creating a photo album for you as well. I can’t say enough good things about Chris – I would continue to hire him again and again if I could. If you’re looking for someone who is going to produce amazing memories of this wonderful time in your life and make sure you have a fun time while doing it, I would definitely recommend you hire Christopher Belli Photography.

The day of, he was wonderful to work with, and my husband and I felt so relaxed and at ease taking photos with Chris (even though we now live in a different state and were not able to take engagement photos first). We never felt posed or fake, and our genuine happiness definitely shows up in the photos -- which are great! Chris was prepared yet also quick to come up with spur-of-the-moment ideas. We couldn't have been happier and definitely recommend him. One more thing I have to mention that might seem small to some people but was major to us: Chris was the only one of our vendors who consistently used "reply all" in sending and responding to e-mails, addressing them and sending them to both my fiancé and me every time. This made a huge difference both in ease of planning (my now-husband had to forward a lot of e-mails to me from other professionals who repeatedly dropped me out of the thread even though we were both equally planning the wedding) and in terms of simple respect of my husband and me as equals and as a team (both in marriage and in planning the wedding). I realize that the other vendors were not consciously trying to slight me, so this is not a knock against them, but I very much appreciated that Chris never once did this! Especially since the photographer winds up being the first person to actually refer to you as husband and wife outside of the ceremony, it's so nice for it to be someone who takes care to be respectful.

He was quick on his feet and got some awesome candid shots too. He gave us plenty of information to help us choose which package we wanted and he was flexible about scheduling and package choices. I especially appreciated that I was able to switch out some of the pictures in the parents' wedding album so it was a little different from the bride and groom's wedding album. All in all, we had a wonderful time working with Chris and were so thankful that we chose him to capture the precious memories of my daughter and son-in-law's wedding day.

Any hesitations or concerns that we had, he ensured us that all would be okay and walked me through the possibilities to ensure that I would be happy on my wedding day. (We definitely were!!) Due to our circumstances, we did our engagement photo’s only weeks ahead of our actual wedding date, and he turned them around and got them to us before we even requested! They were just amazing. As you see in his galleries, he has an eye for artistic photography but his personality is just as wonderful. On the day of our wedding, he worked with our large wedding party, the 7 children we had in our party (all under 6!). Chris had a wonderful team member, Jim, that worked with him and he was loved by all of our wedding party as well. I assumed we would have to wait months for our photos, and we got them within a few weeks! We were shocked (although a perk of a off season wedding  ). I think the most challenging part of a wedding is to go with the flow, as things can change. Chris was fantastic because of that!!! He helped us create a timeline- in which we based our whole day off of basically. He also ensured us that all is good with if we for some reason had to astray from it. is 50 degrees with 24 hours of rain and strong winds. Did I mention it was a completely outdoor wedding? Our wedding was a true testament to our vendors. We quickly got to see who was worth the money we were spending on their services. If anyone didn't bring their 'A-game' then our wedding might not have actually happened that day. Between our shuttle getting stuck in the mud, and delaying the ceremony, to the ground under the tent turning into a mud mosh pit, we put ALL of our faith in everyone to make it happen. The one vendor that stands out to me and my husband (and our families), was Christopher Belli Photography. They stayed late, due to the delay of the wedding and all the hiccups, without charging an extra cent, and even waited around longer (40 minutes after they were supposed to be gone) just to ask if there were any other pictures we wanted to get. Our venue was an old summer camp, and we were planning to do our ceremony, and ALL of our bridal party and formal pictures outside by the lake front. Due to mother nature, rearing her ugly face, we were unable to do any of that, but somehow our pictures turned out better than i anticipated when I thought the weather would be a typical day in June... you know, sunny. I was astonished at what Chris and Jennifer did with the little they had to work with. We have such a variety of beautifully, amazing and unique pictures, and I couldn't be more grateful that I decided to hire them!!! They are worth every single penny (and the prices are VERY reasonable in comparison to other photographers in the area - trust me, i did more research than I ever did for any school project... ever. Maybe even more than all the projects combined, too! I'm saving the best for last... Just before the sun, that never came out, was supposed to go down, by some heaven sent miracle, the clouds parted, and exposed one of the most - if not, the most - GORGEOUS sunsets I've ever seen, and i grew up in Michigan, so beautiful sunsets are a regular occurrence for me. Chris and Jennifer JUMPED at the opportunity to get those pictures. They somehow found us in the crowd of people and snapped some of the most amazing wedding photos i've ever seen. Honest to God, I'm not being biased. It was still windy as ever, and cold as could be, but that didn't stop Chris from laying in a puddle of water at the end of the doc in order to get certain angles of my husband and i gazing into the sunset. Now if that doesn't put your nerves to rest, i'm not sure what will. This is one vendor you will never have to worry about. He was beyond responsive (and immediately, at that), and he reached out to us when he needed info. We didn't have a wedding planner, and he even created a timeline for the entire day, which we then used for everyone and all vendors. He also, took the time to write down all of our extended family members names and make sure he knew who was who. Two words of advice for future brides and grooms: HIRE HIM! Thank you, Chris!!! I owe our wedding day success to you!

He was even kneeling and laying down in the snow to get the best photos of us. Despite the frozen toes, we had a blast! The wedding planning process was very organized. Chris created a detailed timeline for our wedding day. It included all of the special photos we wanted and the names of each member of our bridal party and immediate family. Our bridal party was quite large, but Chris made sure he knew everyone's names! On the day of our wedding, Chris and Marek (his second photographer) made everything go smoothly. They were both professional, polite, patient, and caring. I may be biased, but our wedding photos are amazing. I have been told by friends, family, and coworkers that my husband and I "look like models" or "could be in a professional magazine". Chris and Marek captured every moment and emotion from our wedding day. It was like experiencing my wedding day all over again while viewing the pictures. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the experience and photography from Chris. I highly recommend him!

phone call to plan my wedding. In fact I changed my wedding day just for him; he had to be my photographer. My engagement and wedding pictures are the most beautiful pictures I own. I cannot begin to say how professional Chris is with everyone; he remembered my key family members names' from my sister's wedding and he took the time to remember my husband's family members names' as well. He was always an email or phone call way, always responding with in 24 to 48 hours (you have to give him a break on the weekends). He even took the time on the day before my wedding to call to make sure I was alright and to reassure me that I was going to have a wonderful day and everything was going to be perfect. And he was right! Chris took beautiful shots of the entire wedding and honestly if there was anything I couldn't remember he magically has a picture of everything. Chris was by far the best person to work with on my wedding day. Of all the vendors we hired for the wedding, the hall, church, DJ, and cake, Chris was the most polite, professional, and caring. From the time I was engaged in December of 2013 till my wedding in August of 2015 I felt like I was his only client. Of the quality of the pictures is perfect. Every picture looks great and tells a story. My coworkers saw my engagement pictures and told me my photographer made us look alive and he did. Chris has different partners that he uses to help with wedding and his partner on my wedding was just as great as Chris and was easy to work with. Together they gave me every picture I wanted on my wedding day. Of the cost of Chris's services I feel they are worth every penny he is asking for. Some brides think they can go cheap on the photography but I disagree. Chris asked for more than my husband thought was within the budget but we agreed to, but after meeting Chris he said we couldn’t have anyone else. We decided to cut the budget in other places to make up the difference. Remember when looking for a photographer this is the person you are trusting to capture your special day because you will not remember all of it but you will have a picture of it if Chris is your photographer. Chris will be there to help you every step of the way with ordering photos and creating a photo album that is unique to you and your tastes. And the album will last you a lifetime, it turns out beautiful and unique to each couple. My advice is to make sure you call Chris right away because he will book quickly and if you want him you need to get a hold of him quickly.

Since we live out-of-state, Chris was very accommodating in scheduling both the taking of the engagement photos and the review; he was also very patient, as it took us forever to approve our wedding album (through no fault of his; we had a really hard time making decisions because there were just so many great photos). Both our engagement and wedding photos were fantastic. If I could frame every single one of them, I would. He captured the entire wedding day perfectly, and flipping through them is like reliving it all over again. (Side note: One of the reasons we chose Chris was because our wedding had lots of candlelight and was at night, and we knew from his sample shots that he did very well with that scenario. He absolutely proved us right. Those are some of the most interesting and unique shots.) I had the privilege of working with Chris again at my friend's wedding in July 2014. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

The whole story of our day is documented now with high quality photographs. I feel like I'm reliving that day every time I look at our photos. r our engagement photos, we hoped for a cool mid-October, Fall outdoor session and ended up with a freezing cold day, I was so glad that Chris suggested that we go into our cars periodically to warm up, he was extremely patient with us! This was the first time we ever had professional photos taken but Chris made us feel completely at ease and comfortable and it turned out to be a lot of fun! We were so happy with the photos, we had him create our unique save-the-dates using a few of them. On our wedding day he was a calming presence, which is something that any bride will greatly appreciate! He was very helpful and organized and really listened to what we wanted. Somewhat last minute we decided to hire a videographer with an assistant. They had never before met Chris and his assistant, yet they worked together like they had been doing so for many years. Chris had all of our wedding photos available for us to view in a timely manner, as soon as we returned from our honeymoon. The photos were amazing, we are incredibly happy with them! His work is exceptional. He created a beautiful album for us which we were able to personalize exactly how we wanted and we absolutely love it and will cherish it for years to come. Like we were told it would, the wedding day really did fly by. In a short time the food was eaten, the cake was devoured, the dress was worn and the flowers were wilting. The money we spent on it all was gone. But our photos froze the most important day of our lives forever in time. Growing up with in an artistic household, with a Dad who fancied himself an amateur photographer, I know how to look for the small details in a photo that make it really great. If you can't immediately afford the canvas print you wanted from your engagement session or wedding... I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a canvas of my favorite engagement photo for Christmas last year, and can tell you that the quality is incredible. line of photos. Photography was the most important aspect vendor wise in my wedding- I actually planned my wedding date based on his availability after seeing his portfolio. I chose him based on his artistic abilities and the consistency in his work. His second shooter was chosen carefully and incredibly professional and detailed in everything he shot- the editing on both were very consistent- something I don't see often in photographers using second shooters. They didn't leave anything unphotographed. I had over 25 web pages of photos, a huge range of shots. If you give him enough time between ceremony/reception you won't be disappointed in the photos. He comes highly recommended and its no surprise he's one of the top photographers on The Knot.

While we had sent him a timeline ahead of the day, he was great in his ability to adapt and roll with any changes or minor complications that happened on the day itself. His attitude, perspective, and ideas all mixed perfectly with what we had envisioned for our day. Neither my husband nor I are exactly models, in looks or particularly in comfort level in front of the camera, but Chris made us feel at ease, undoubtedly helped by the fact that we could all got along and were able to make each other laugh. We have just started to get our previews back, and we, and our families, are amazed at the photographs. We knew we loved his work, both from other weddings we had seen and our own engagement photographs, but these have gone above and beyond what we were expecting. To close this review out, I want to share just one specific anecdote: My husband had seen a particular wedding party photo and REALLY wanted to do it. Chris and his second shooter finished a wedding early the night before ours, and took the time to scout out a perfect location to get the ideal perspective for the images. The results were unbelievable, and I cannot thank Chris enough for his hard work and wonderfulness across the board, and particularly in getting this one series of photographs absolutely perfect.

Not having met him myself before the wedding day, however, what I didn't know was that his personality -- his sparkle, warmth, enthusiasm, friendliness, and ease in engaging with people -- would be such a delightful addition to the day. In reflecting on why his contribution seemed so significant, I realized how very present he was and how he became an integral part of the unfolding of the events of the day and evening. I think this came not just from his personality, but from the fact that he has so much experience with how wedding days flow, which was reassuring since this was our first, and that the role that he took was not only photographing the wedding, but facilitating the fun and pleasure of it.

sure we were 100% prepared for the day of the wedding. We planned on having most of the pictures taken outside, and he had a detailed backup plan in case of bad weather. He made sure all of the details were taken care of and helped us create a timeline so the day went flawlessly and we made sure to get all the pictures we wanted. He brought his partner, Jeff, who was also incredibly nice and professional. They made a great team and worked tirelessly the day of the wedding. It's very evident that Chris has a passion for what he does and an incredible eye for detail. We received a cd with all the pictures on it soon after the wedding, and could not be happier with the way they turned out!

He could recall in detail stories of each couple he was showing us photos of, telling us about the significance of the bride's something borrowed or how the couple met. The wedding albums he creates are really beautiful. Chris is highly organized which was helpful during the planning process as well as the day of the event. We were able to get a wide variety of shots in just a few locations. An added bonus was we really just had so much fun with Chris and his assistant Aaron the day of the wedding! They captured so many great shots we are having a hard time picking out which ones to include in our wedding album. I highly recommend Chris!

We moved out of state 3 months before we got engaged and we planned our entire wedding from 1,000 miles away. We did not even meet Chris in person until the day of our wedding! His portfolio speaks for itself -- he is an amazing photographer -- and when we saw his photos online, we knew that was exactly what we wanted. After speaking to him on the phone the first time, I knew that we had to hire hiim. Chris was great through all of our communications leading up to the wedding. He was available with prompt responses any time I had a question and was professional and organized. Even though we couldn't meet in person and had to communicate by telephone and email, I always felt that our wedding photography was in great hands. The ease of communicating with Chris and his professional but laid back and kind demeanor made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day. I don't know about you guys, but I think occasionally wedding photographers can come across as a little pushy or in your face, but not Chris!! He has a way of making you feel at ease, which is really helpful on one of the most important and nerve-wrecking days of your life! Neither my husband nor I are particularly comfortable having our picture taken, but Chris managed to make us feel at ease and comfortable with the entire process. My family and guests even remarked about how wonderful he was! Not to mention, our wedding photos are even better than we dreamed they would be!!
