Christopher Bohn Music

Christopher played classical guitar for my wedding ceremony in November 2013. I got married in a very pretty, rustic setting and my ceremony was outdoors. He played as my guests arrived and for all the traditional ceremony portions. Being a classical singer myself, it was very important to me to have only classical music. He took all my requests and played with a high level of musicianship. Chris is hard to reach during the planning process, but do not let that fool you. He comes prepared and knocks it out of the park. I researched other classical guitarists in the area, and they were very high maintenance. Chris is NOT high maintenance and is the perfect choice if you are having an intimate wedding. He fit perfectly with everything!

So many people commented on him as a musician during the ceremony. They loved him and he was perfect.

Christopher was the perfect fit for our outdoor garden ceremony. His voice is smooth and soulful and really set the tone for our ceremony. Christopher was very professional from his communication, to attire and wedding day performance. I booked Christopher through gigmasters after hearing his rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". This had always been a song that I wanted in my wedding. Using gigmasters was extremely easy and a great way to make payments to the musician. I was a little leery booking a musician I had never heard or worked with, but then a friend of mine who is a professional banjo player had told me that he had heard of Christopher and that he would be perfect. My mind was starting to be put at ease. Christopher and I communicated mostly though email and then about a week or two before the wedding we chatted by phone. After our conversation, I was completely confident that this was the right decision. I briefly saw Christopher before and after the ceremony. He arrived on time, even a little early, and worked effortlessly with the staff at the venue. He was also able to supply us with a boom mic for the ceremony and controlled the volume levels so that we could be heard by all of our guests at our outdoor ceremony. I hope to use Christopher in the future and recommend him to anyone who is interested in having an acoustic guitar player and singer for any event.

Christopher was a pleasure to work with. The planning was very easy and I never had to worry about the ceremony music. On our wedding day, the music was beautiful. We received many compliments from our guests about the wonderful music.

Both my wife and I, and everyone at the wedding were so impressed with Christopher. We could not have selected a better musician. We were pretty picky about what we wanted him to play for the ceremony, but Christopher did such an amazing job with every single song he played. My husband and I got married in August 2011 at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in Annapolis and we decided that we wanted a guitarist to perform for our outdoor ceremony and cocktail reception. I searched online and found MANY many choices, so I started contacting the musicians to get a feel for their style. Out of the gate, Chris was by far the most responsive and professional. Working with him was the easiest part of my wedding planning. I highly recommend Chris for the following reasons: -professional -flexible -showed up well before the wedding to set up -learned ANY song that we asked -reasonable -great communication/responsive -DROVE from PENNSYLVANIA to Maryland for our wedding (see above "flexible") -guests LOVED his performance and we received nothing but positive comments (even the staff at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club commented that he was extremely professional, low-maintenance and one of the best musicians they'd had onsite) Chris is the most laid-back and low-maintenance musician you're going to find. He'll put you at ease and he'll help you with the ceremony timeline/music (which I had no clue about!). I highly recommend Chris for wedding ceremonies/cocktail receptions, company functions, pretty much any function that requires a great voice and talented guitarist. Christopher Bohn was an AMAZING addition to our rustic outdoor farm wedding. He provided the music for the ceremony and cocktail hour. He not only is a truly talented guitarist and musician, but he was a pleasure to work with. He had a huge song list available and we loved most of the choices.
