d broken promises and behavior that was completely unacceptable. Before we signed the contract, he was extremely reassuring, doing Zoom and FaceTime calls and promising a full team for both bride and groom, professional movie-quality cameras, a drone, edited and unedited photos and videos, and live streaming for our family in India. None of that was delivered as promised. We had a three-day Indian wedding, and from the first day he immediately limited his time to barely an hour, forcing us to rush guests just to capture a few photos. The second day he again restricted his time, making us rush while getting ready and coordinating temple events around him. The “crew” he promised was only him and his teenage son, who gave no direction, showed little initiative, and often stood around unless told what to do. I rarely saw him actively filming, and as the bride I found myself worrying about whether anything was being captured instead of focusing on my rituals. At one ceremony, he placed his camera in the middle of the room between the bride and groom’s sides so neither was properly centered, sat beside it with his legs crossed, and in the footage his boot visibly blocks part of the ceremony while he barely moved; guests complained about his behavior, and even the priest said he smelled like weed at the temple and appeared to have smoked before guests arrived. During a night function with performances, he filmed from behind our heads, only began live streaming after being reminded, recorded about an hour of a four-to-five-hour event, then left without informing anyone and stopped responding to calls and texts. In a panic, we stepped away from our own function and spent over $8,000 to emergency book another photographer and videographer to ensure our wedding ceremony would be properly documented. On the wedding day, he showed up again with only his son, appeared upset about the new team, stood off to the side and barely worked, left before my bridal entrance, and failed to record a single moment of our actual marriage ceremony. He promised delivery in three months, yet over a year passed with excuses and little communication. At one point he sent someone else’s wedding files and claimed they were ours, then asked us to mail him a flash drive costing $200, and later falsely claimed he had sent our files to my father, who was not the client and had never provided contact information. The address listed on his website turned out to be a hotel that had no knowledge of him, and only after the manager threatened police involvement did he finally send links. What we received were disorganized, mostly unedited folders with random photos, poorly edited videos, and nothing from the actual ceremony. After paying nearly $10,000, we were left heartbroken, financially drained, and robbed of irreplaceable memories, and I would never recommend him to any couple.
