ster's wedding and seeing the final product, I of course, needed to have him for my wedding! At our initial meeting, Chris began the meeting wanting to get to know my husband (Mikey) and I more. We had dinner, discussed our hobbies and talked for a couple hours. That was one thing I appreciated about Chris, he truly wants to develop a relationship with his clients and to get to know us better. As we got to discuss our wedding, Chris asked us what our vision is for our photos, and he asked us to describe in three words what we want our photos to look like. My husband and I looked at each other and said when we display our photos, we want people to say, "That is dope!" My husband and I wanted three things for our engagement shoot: to display the city we live in and love, Chicago; to display one of my husband's favorite hobbies, skateboarding; and to display mine and my husband's favorite season and hobby, snowboarding in the winter. Chris was very helpful in preparing us for our engagement photo shoot. He recommended places that we could shoot at and even outfit recommendations. Chris directed the engagement shoots so smoothly and professionally. He made my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera. For our winter engagement session, we went out to Park City, UT. Chris snowboarded on a mountain with a 50+ pound bag of his camera equipment to capture amazing photos of us, that shows his dedication and hard work as a photographer. Now preparing for our wedding, we met with Chris a few weeks before our wedding to discuss the details and timeline for the big day. Chris made note of any special shots that we wanted. This was so helpful so that we were all on the same page for the wedding day. And finally, the big day arrived. Chris and his second photographer arrived on time ready to work. Chris facilitated the day, not overbearing, but in a way that made everything run smoothly. He got to know our bridal party, laughing and enjoying the day with us. He captured the day beautifully in his photos- beginning at bridal prep, to capturing the details of the day, the ceremony, our formal pictures at Navy Pier, and reception time aboard the Spirit of Chicago cruise ship.. what he captured was AMAZING. Chris was very easy to communicate with. If I e-mailed or texted him, I received a response right away. Overall, we've had so much fun with Chris. We would recommend him to all our family friends and go to him for any future events.
