I may be a little biased, but here goes my review...
My journey with Christy started in 2019 when I found her company online. It was not for wedding bands, but for help designing ...
a ring for a stone I purchased that year. I have been strongly committed to sustainable, small businesses for my jewelry and clothing, and Christy fits the bill. What I love about Christy's ethos is that she tends to ask about your story: where did you get this stone, who were you with, what does this mean to you? It's interesting to start with your narrative, but I think her ultimate goal is to provide beautiful jewelry but one that reflects the person wearing it.
Fast forward a few years. My partner and I had a commitment ceremony and knew we were going to have rings for each other. Christy was the obvious choice. I was a little more directed than our first conversation (meaning I came to her with sketches and a plan), but she was incredibly mindful about certain things such as my petite hands and my lifestyle. We never wanted to rush Christy, but I believe deep down in my heart she pushed things up to make sure we had our rings on our special day.
I cannot recommend Christy enough. She has a beautiful hand, eye, and heart, which are all important when making your visions become a reality (or piece of jewelry to be worn).
Christy is an incredible talent and the sweetest, easiest person to work with. Decision making around ring design was made easier and she clearly “got” our vision right away when w...
e fumbled through explaining it. The final product turned out better than we imagined. I absolutely plan to have her make our wedding bands and more in the future.
Christy's work is amazing. Throughout the process of fabricating a ring together, she was open in discussing ring styles, educating me on considerations of fabricating a custom rin...
g and punctual with her responses and dates. Working with her was very simple as she is an excellent communicator and responded to any questions or concerns I had promptly. Her work with my wife's engagement ring was gorgeous, and she wont' stop showing our loved ones Christy's work. I highly recommend working with her.
Christy was extremely helpful and patient when working with me on turning a couple photos into something real that my fiancé really loved. Christy was very flexible and responsive...
in our back and forth over email. Even though I had many "let me get back to you" moments, Christy was able to navigate these and the entire project even around the holidays (her meeting notes and updates really kept me confident that the project would go smoothly as well)!
As for the ring itself, it is unique, beautiful, and amazing quality. It made it even more meaningful to get our ring from a local independent artist who values sustainability.
My fiancé and I would not have had such a special proposal experience without her help and I cannot recommend her enough.
as someone who went against the grain for all things considered "traditional wedding", i never would have thought that i would have opted for a custom band. i'm grateful to have wo...
rked with christy as she took my thoughts to heart and created a beautiful band.
she makes the process painless, and she has a talent for intuiting client preference. the navigation process was exactly what i needed: focused without excess, thoughtful without being overbearing.
she's a maker who puts her clients first, and is a wonderful human overall. should i want another custom piece made, i will be returning to christy as long as she's creating.
Working with Christy to design and create my engagement ring and my husband and I’s wedding bands was a wonderful experience. She uses high quality materials, is extremely professi...
onal, and consistently communicated with us to ensure that the rings were exactly what we wanted. She made this process go smoothly for us and all three rings turned out so beautiful. She was also very accommodating when we discussed that we had set a wedding date on short notice. I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out and I strongly recommend Christy for anyone looking for quality custom jewelry!
I absolutely loved working with Christy to design the perfect engagement ring and wedding bands for me and my wife. We had several phone calls in which she helped guide me through ...
the her process and solidify the designs based on our preferences. She was kind enough to give frequent updates and send over mock images and videos of the ring and stone pieces. Her work is simply beautiful and elegant. We are very happy with how the rings turned out, and I highly recommend Christy for anyone looking for quality custom jewelry!
Christy was professional from the start. She spent at least an hour on our initial consultation, with clear instructions on how the process worked. Everything she promised shipped ...
and arrived in a timely fashion. Her correspondence was professional and timely as well.
Her craftsmanship is unparalleled in my opinion. Her suggestions for how one of her specifically designed rings will look on ones finger goes a long way. I definitely got the feeling she just wasn't trying to sell you the most expensive piece, but what you will like and what works for each individual.
I don't plan on using her services again, since I've married the right one this time, but I will definitely refer my friends to her. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a QUALITY ring, stress free process and pleasurable individual to work with.
Thanks Christy!
Christy is wonderful - I strongly recommend working with her!
I never wore any jewelry at all before I was married and had several major apprehensions about the process of selecti...
ng a ring. I was not interested in recent masculine ring trends, exotic metals, etc. and I also shy away from traditional sales experiences and retailers.
I reached out to Christy because I was really impressed by her catalog and ethics and the entire experience was fantastic. She was very generous with her time, answering every question I could think of over a combination of Zoom and email. Her workflow for remote collaboration during COVID-19 was excellent and she took special care to ensure my ring would not get lost in the mail.
Overall I could not have asked for a better experience.
I discovered Christy through a local jewelry shop and asked her to create an engagement ring. We discussed the design (a rose-cut bezel set) and she perfectly understood what I wan...
ted, and executed it to perfection. Naturally, we also had her create my wife's wedding band (a ring perfectly-contoured around the rose-cut stone with 5 smaller stones), and my own white gold wedding band... I wish I could post a photo in this review, because we are so thrilled with these rings. They're simply gorgeous.
But Christy went a step beyond that, because after some time, I decided I needed my band sized-down, and she was more gracious than I expected—after sending it back to me, it still didn't feel right (perhaps the fault of the inconsistent sizing rings from a different jewelry store, but also my own naivete) and she was very understanding, so she then mailed me her own sizing rings and performed a second resizing for no additional cost. Wow.
So if you love Christy's style as much as we do, you have no reason to keep shopping. Her work is amazing and she'll make sure you are happy!
It has been wonderful to work with Christy for our engagement ring as well as wedding bands! Christy arranged with me an extensive phone conversation where she asked about my prefe...
rences, timeline and budget. Over the course of designing the ring, she kept me updated every step along the way, and went out of her way to source the most suitable stone, offering various options and painstakingly explain the various trade offs. The ring turns out to be gorgeous, so much so that we asked Christy to design both of our wedding bands, where my fiancee’s band will match her ring. I cannot recommend enough.
Christy designed and created our engagement rings. She was so wonderful and easy to work with, we couldn't be more happy with the end result! We're definitely planning on having he...

! The design looks great and the feel of the ring is perfect. I play the piano and was looking for a simple but unique ring that is light and delicate in wear. She was able to create the ring with the thinnest width without compromising the design.
We cannot say enough about Christy as a person and as an artist! My husband worked with Christy to design a custom (surprise) engagement ring for me which we both adore so very muc...
h. She has since made my wedding ring as well as some additional rings for special occasions. Each time we have an opportunity to work with Christy we are blown away by her creativity, her generosity and her great service!!
