your usual Miami over-the-top Swarovski-filled, paint-the-town-red kinda wedding. So I planned most of the details and styling far in advance, while scouting for wedding planners who would understand my vision. Christy is the top wedding planner in Miami and I had been following her work on Instagram. Finally, three months before my family elopement, Christy and I met as wedding vendors. She was so warm and approachable, it was like talking to that one best friend you always wish you had when planning your wedding. So I knew from the very first moment we met (under the Mango tree!) that she will be a fantastic day-of coordinator and execute my vision flawlessly. Prior to the elopement, she and her team made sure all our vendors were notified of the day-of timeline and prep in a timely manner. We also met with her twice, and I loved that she incorporated our personal touches and preference for an austere, trimmed down itinerary saving only the classic, essential traditions. She also opened us up to traditions from other weddings such as the "first look" and the "receiving line", which we loved, because we got extra face time with each other and all our guests. On the day of our wedding, she styled everything perfectly. She maximized the potential of the venue, used every single prop that was in line with the vintage look-and-feel of our wedding. She also made sure we as a couple were relaxed and happy as can be. It was everything I had imagined my wedding would be. Tasteful, classy, intimate, relaxed w/ all my curated calligraphed vignettes perfectly placed all around the venue. Our family elopement literally felt like we were transported out of Miami with our loved ones, in the most marvelous venue you can ever find. My love for details was perfectly complemented by her big picture approach on event styling. My favorite is when I asked if we could skip the 'aisle' and traditional seating style for the ceremony, and her eyes lit up as she had the best idea ever! She styled a semi-circle all white seating arrangement, and strategically placed a vintage Persian rug in the middle. My sisters loved it so much they kept saying it was so magical seeing us. The semi circle also added to the intimate feel of the ceremony and guests loved it! Guests were still raving about how perfect, classy and relaxed my wedding was. All thanks to Christy who made sure everything was on time and executed flawlessly, from the welcome champagne to cutting of the cake. What's also admirable is when we had a blooper - our getaway car (a Fiat pop) had a flat tire, Christy and the vendors were all cheering us on and convinced us that it would still be worth the sunset pictures. So my husband and I took her advice and we couldn't be happier! Only Christy has that magic to inspire good vibes and see the bright side of things. Thankfully, Spike, the venue owner, went above and beyond his call of duty and inflated the tires for us! I would highly recommend Christy V & Co for the bride who thinks differently, thinks of the overall experience while balancing the little details. Our vendors also loved that her team were very detail oriented and responsive. I literally plan on writing a blog post raving about how awesome she is, because reviews are not enough! Well done!

ing turned out to be EXACTLY what we envisioned based on our style, our Pinterest board to even the smallest details and it’s all because of The amazing lady Christy and her team. I remembered the time when we were looking for a wedding planner and when we talked to Christy over the phone we automatically connected with her right away because she is so full of life and has a positive energy about her. Ron and I knew Christy genuinely wanted to take care of us she made us feel so important and we love that . She works with a lot of amazing vendors and I loved how she would find the right vendors based on our budget. Communicating with Christy was AMAZING she made it so easy. We would have several face time calls with her, she would even join the face time Calls when we were finding a florist, she responds to emails quickly and I loved how we can also text her and by the way she uses LOL! She’s so cool and personal! The day of the wedding was stressful and crazy for us but once Ron and I stepped into our reception and saw all the hard work that Christy and our vendors created and did for us we completely forgot about the craziness and was able to focus on us and we are seriously grateful for Christy for making such a positive impact in our lives and on our special day . Overall, I recommend you working with Christy and her team she is not your average wedding planner she is definitely a hidden gem, keen to details and just has so much love and passion in what she does and you can definitely see it.
