I thought they did a good job with my sisters wedding so I booked them for mine. I did my trial and I loved the girl who did the makeup and booked them. Fast forward to my wedding ...
day, they text me the day of to confirm the location and then tell me that the girl who did my trial will not be doing our hair and makeup. The makeup lady was very nice but not at all what I wanted as she had a VERY different style than the lady that did my trial. The lady who did my hair was not very professional and was very rough with everyone and blamed us for the reason why she was not going to make the 3pm deadline (yes, we were 20 min late to get started but she was supposed to do 9 girls hair and makeup and we only had them do 8 on the day of, which may be the fault of the company for not booking 3 stylists).
I think the pictures still turned out great but when I see my hair and makeup I just get worked up over the stress that it caused.
Chroma did a great job with getting me and my bridal party ready for my reception. Our stylists Christy (hair) and Ashley (makeup) absolutely killed it. Everyone's hair and makeup ...
stayed put even after dancing and sweating like crazy. They were so understanding and patient with people arriving a little later to our AirBnB than planned, and I cannot say enough about how much I loved working with our individual stylists. Ashley also went above and beyond and helped with lash and lipstick application on some of my friends who didn't get makeup services, and I cannot thank her enough.
The reason I'm taking off a star is that I think communication with Michael as far as scheduling could have gone a bit better. He emailed me the day before the event asking if I could provide selfies and inspiration pictures for everyone getting services. As any bride knows, the day before your event is spent running around doing last minute errands, and trying to text and wrangle responses from 6 people was not appreciated. I believe this could have been asked in the weeks leading up to our event when I had more bandwidth to deal with it (i.e. when I was finalizing services and paying). We were also trying to hammer down a schedule for everyone and we never got it totally resolved before the day. Michael was flexible and great to talk to leading up to the event, so I hate to knock a star, but it was an unnecessary stress that I hope was just a one-off and they improve their organization going forward.
Chroma did hair and makeup for myself as well as my 8 bridesmaids, mothers, and flower girl. Everyone looked beautiful and we got so many compliments! The timeline for the wedding ...
day went smoothly, especially for so many people, and we even finished a little early. I was very satisfied with how everything turned out with Chroma!
I wouldn't have my wedding day any other way. Chroma did a great job!
I had such a great time on my wedding day! Shayla and Tiffany are so sweet and talented!
The Artists did an excellent job with day of glam for me and my bridesmaids. Everyone loved their hair and makeup . I would definitely recommend chroma!
Shayla was amazing and so sweet. I showed her multiple pictures with something different in each picture I wanted and she made it come to life and she was fast!
Shayla did my hair and she did an amazing job looking at a few random pictures I had and making them into a reality! Tiffany did my make up and killed it!! I normally hate make up ...

ervices. Monica did my hair for my wedding and LaCora did my makeup. I loved both of them so much! They're amazing at what they do but also so nice to be around on your wedding day. We also had help from Mikaela and Tiffany D, who were also so wonderful! They stuck around until after my ceremony to touch me up and make sure I was looking great until we went into the reception. All of our hair and makeup lasted the whole night, even after sweating from dancing! Wonderful work! Would highly recommend to anyone!
