keptical with Indian makeup because some artists either make me look lighter or darker than my skin tone but omg I just had to tell Chrys my concerns and she created amazing Indian bridal makeup that was elegant, flawless, and felt like me. My makeup lasted perfectly through all the ceremonies, emotions, and hours of celebrations, and looked stunning in photos. She was calm, professional, and made me feel so comfortable on such an important day. She was there bright and early (before the sun was even up lol)! I received endless compliments and felt confident and beautiful. I highly recommend her and especially to Indian brides who don’t want that cakey over the top makeup and want something unique! I absolutely did not need to worry. Chrys took the time to understand my vision, review my inspiration photos, and thoughtfully talk through what would work best for my skin tone and face shape. Her attention to detail is unmatched—she even hand-placed individual lashes instead of using a strip because she felt it complemented my eye shape better. She listened and did such a thorough consultation before our trial and the trial was PERFECT, but when she came on my wedding day she said I kept looking at the pictures and I can make your eyes look bigger with changing your wing a little (I’m a wing girlie) and I didn’t think it could get better but it did!!! She truly studied my look and made me feel so cared about!! We ran EARLY even with 15 girls getting ready and every single one of them looked just as good!! I had always envisioned. They seamlessly handled numerous types of hair and makeup styles for all 12 people with ease and were an absolute pleasure to interact with. They were so easy to interact with and the perfect personalities to calm any pre-ceremony nerves! They were prompt, efficient, professional, skilled, and warm hearted! This is by far the best experience I have had in working with a hair and makeup artist. Not only are they extremely skilled, they also are good at checking in throughout to make sure things are how you envisioned. I had canceled my previous contract with another makeup artist about 4 months before my wedding, that’s when I found Chrys and immediately knew I was in great hands, during my trial she was so sweet, even allowing me to try out two different eye looks! Fast forward to my wedding day and I still had not decided on which I wanted, since I loved both! Before I could even say what I was thinking , Chrys immediately suggested that we do a little more glam than my trial, all while also naming the changes I too was thinking about doing to make my bridal look complete. I trusted Chrys 1000% to achieve the look of my dreams and she not only did that, but exceeded anything I could even imagine! I did not once look in the mirror during my makeup , knowing Chrys knew exactly what I was going for. My husband told me that was the best he has ever seen my makeup look, and how beautiful it was! Aside from being beautiful, it lasted the entire night into the morning. I had Chrys stay a few extra hours for touchups , and I believe she only had to touch up my lipstick from taking photos and kissing! She also held my flowers, tidied up my hair from the blowing wind, and held down my veil! She is a true angel and I could not have made a better decision for my wedding makeup! My entire bridal party also looked amazing, not a single unhappy bridesmaid, we received compliments the entire night. Chrys was more than my hair and make up artist that day. She was my fairy glam mother! She stayed with me all day for touch ups (which my now husband really enjoyed receiving too)....

She would run over in-between a photo and fix a strand of hair, blotting some sweat, the little things that made my wedding photos truly perfect. There is nothing worse than looking back and wondering why did no one fix that piece! When she wasn't perfecting my look, she was an absolute angel and was helping me walk around with my extra long train and giving me pep talks. When we arrived at the church it all hit me, that the big day was here and I was about to walk down the aisle, she knew exactly what to do and calmed me down while holding a fan to my face for my make up to stay put from tears. She is truly the kindest and most genuine person. I was so lucky to have her with me during that moment! Now... for why you're reading this review, the hair and make up skill. 5 stars!!! Chrys is beyond talented! I loved her work in Instagram and reached out. The truth is, you never know what you're booking in the wedding planning phase. I saw she had an amazing portfolio and was reliable. I can say booking with Chrys was the best wedding planning decision I made! NO NOTES! I'm whole heartedly in love with my look and how it all came out in photos. She took the direction and feedback from the trial and perfected it on my wedding day, I was blown away! They were finished ahead of schedule and absolutely rocked every single head of hair and face of make up. Chrys is so meticulous and careful when it comes to cleanliness, that she completely put me at ease (which admittedly is not easy haha). She is so kind, so fun, listens to what you want but also encourages you to try new things (never pushing!!!). Let me give you my example, during my first trial I was dead set on having very minimal makeup bc Ive never liked how my makeup looks after having it done (always worried about looking cake-y), wanted all my hair back off my face bc I worry about sweating and no extensions because I’m a low maintence girl usually. During my makeup trial she taught me so much about application and different types of products, and made my skin look so natural yet soft glammed and elevated - exactly what I was looking for in my insp pictures, without feeling like I had so so much on my face. For my hair, she gave me exactly what I wanted and by the end of the trial appointment, we had tried a few different things and I realized how matronly I looked with the hair I thought I wanted and how much extensions were needed! She guided me through buying some affordable ones, and brought me in for another trial, recommending some new tweaks to the hair to nail the look!!!! I knew the day was gonna go smoothly after that. Day of my wedding was so joyful but also stressful, overwhelming and emotional - and Chrys was the positive calming light I needed that morning! She arrived with her team early and got ALL 10 of us ready by 11:30 do we could take pictures, get ready and enjoy each other before my 2pm ceremony. I feel like I not only walked away with the most amazing makeup and hair experience for my special day, but more knowledge about glam and most importantly a friend ☺️ cannot recommend her enough 💗

I am very picky with makeup and typically don't enjoy getting it professionally done, but I could not have asked for a more flawless result. I had Chrys stay all day for touch ups, but did not realize that meant she would follow me to each and every location for my first look photos for crying touchups, repinning my dupatta for me, and also was right next to me until I walked down the aisle! After my ceremony was over, she enhanced my makeup for the reception with a smokier eye and darker lips. Everything was STUNNING and lasted the entire night! Chrys made me feel so comfortable the morning of my wedding and was so bubbly and fun to be around! She also did the makeup of my family members who were so impressed. I cried when I saw my mom because she never wears makeup and Chrys made hers look so natural and beautiful! Seriously 10/10 service, kindness, and talent! to end. They arrived when they said they would and didn't leave until we all felt like models. I wanted a very natural look, and as someone who's not super well-versed in makeup, Chrys was able to guide me to the exact look I was going for. I was sold on booking her after my trial: she tried multiple hairstyles on me, took photos from all angles, gave me her honest opinions and respected and executed on all of my feedback. I also had a BLAST chatting with her! On the day of my wedding she stayed by my side the whole time, carrying my veil, fixing my lipstick, taking photos, hyping me up; I can't imagine the day going as well as it did without her. Chrys is amazing and I am so happy I got to work with her! If by the grace of God she has your date available, just hire her-you will not regret it!!
