I am Chrys Coles, founder of Chrys Coles Makeup, a bridal beauty service company based out of Tinton Falls, NJ providing a high end luxury bridal experience for brides that love makeup and are serious about their wedding glam. Chrys Coles Makeup travels mostly around NJ, some areas in NY and PA but is also available for other destination weddings including international. We have a team of professional artists trained to accommodate big bridal parties. Airbrush makeup and hairstyling available. We understand the bride's needs during her entire process, from the engagement, to the moment she walks down the aisle. We understand that you have your own style and we will work with you to find the perfect look to suit your style and overall vibe of the wedding. We have done hundreds of weddings, but this is your first, so we will treat you with the care and attention you deserve, as you are not just a number for us. We will listen to you to better understand your vision and use our expertise to find the makeup look and formula that is right and better for you. We truly believe that makeup is NOT one size fits all and to ensure this we carry a huge variety of palettes, foundations of many different finishes and colors to match the lightest to the darkest skin. We also have mastered many makeup looks fro the most natural , soft glam and full glam. We will make your experience personal . Our goal is not only to make you look beautiful, we want you to FEEL beautiful. Fake lashes are included with every makeup application, and we carry the most natural, individual to full luxuries mink lashes at no extra cost. A little about me: Born and raised in Brasil, moved to USA in early 2000's, have always been passionate about art and my favorite one is makeup, where every face is a new canvas. I love brides and all the things bridal and being able to be a part of a bride's "best day of their lives" is also very special to me. I speak three languages, Portuguese, English and Spanish making communication easier. I have learned makeup from the best makeup artists from New Jersey , if not from USA. I am extremely detailed and picky about my application (perfectionist here), that's why I choose to specialize in bridal makeup over working in a salon where everything is rushed. I'm obsessed with luxury products and my clients get the best of the best. My style is timeless, whether you want natural glam or full glam makeup, I master any style to achieve that flawless, airbrushed makeup look. specific appt! She truly cares about her work and it shows. I felt beautiful on my wedding day, and like I was in good hands. She gave me the exact look I was going for. She stayed for my first look and right before I walked down the aisle, going as far as to fix my hair, fix my train, and carry my flowers at some points!! Like I said above and beyond, she was so attentive even my photographer and videographer commented on how thoughtful she was! Chrys made sure I looked good for every picture, checking on my make up between each shots. I felt like I had a sister there taking care of me, and not just my make up artist. We live several hours apart, but I will make the trip to her for all my future event makeup! Chrys is a perfect make up artist to have by your side for your big day, she puts so much effort and care into her clients. You can trust her to take care of you. with. It was only my second time getting professional makeup done in my life, and I had no idea what I wanted to do. I let Chrys do her work with just one inspo photo from her Instagram page and she knocked it out of the park. I did not modify her work once because it was perfect to me the very first time. The makeup looked and felt smooth with no cakeyness and lasted the entire night. She also did Hollywood waves on my hair. I did not get extensions though it is recommended for that hairstyle. I do not regret that decision because I thought it looked incredible. She did a great job getting that same wave effect without the extensions. Even during a windy/damp April day of taking photos outside, my hair never once moved.

I got married on a hot summer day and both the ceremony and reception were outdoors. huge obstacle already in itself to overcome, even more so with the other vendors, venues and uncertainty. However, during my makeup trial I felt as though I was not treated like a person, not individualized and was not heard. I bet the bullet and let the deposit go, and went on a search to find a new make up artist. I contacted someone who referred me to someone else who then referred me to Chrys. She said that my wedding date opened up and I was in luck. I explain my story to her and she was so attentive and felt terrible about what happened. Especially with all of the Covid brides who had already lost a lot of morale and excitement about something that should be so exciting and happy. The words that stuck with me the most were “even if you do not choose me to be your makeup artist, I will find you someone so that you could be happy on your wedding day.” Her kindness, attentiveness, and obvious talent for the things that brought me to her. I went on my trial with her and she was nothing but amazing to me. She had a beautiful at home studio and had such a wide array of luxury make up. She focused on what I needed and how I felt. I told her about lashes and she gave me the most comfortable kind. I was so happy when I was done with my trial, I didn’t hesitate to tell her that she was obviously going to be my choice for the day of my wedding. On the day of my wedding, she was absolutely amazing. I felt like she was the calming force throughout all of the chaos. She gave me attention, soothe my nerves, and even got me a beautiful Mac lipgloss. When we were discussing the contract, she suggested that I would get a touchup for three hours. Well, I can’t suggest this enough! She was so right! I don’t know what I would have done if she would’ve left me on my own! She even help me adjust my hair etc. because it was a very humid day and it was going to rain at 6 PM. Mind you, it was in August. I never got so many compliments in my life about my make up and I was so happy to let her know how happy I was with her work and her personality. I will highly recommend Chrys To anyone that wants to feel like a bride, to any bride that wants to feel heard and important, and not just a check. I feel as though we made an incredible bond just over my wedding day because she was unbelievably attentive to all of my needs. Not to mention, she is the sweetest person I know. Every time I wear the lipgloss I consistently think about my wedding day and how beautiful I looked. Thank you, Chrys, for your beautiful work and your amazing sense of calm on my wedding day.
