We had an incredible experience having our wedding at the Chrysler. Their spaces are stunning and worked really well for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. All of our guests loved everything about the museum. The staff was very easy to work with throughout and made the coordination process stress free. We also had a great experience with all of their suggested vendors. Highly recommend!
Great experience working with the Chrysler Museum. They run a tight ship, but it is worth it. We used their preferred vendors list, which was great because they were all 5/5. Jen and Gabby were great to work with. The venue speaks for itself and created the perfect place to have your special day.
Unfortunately we didn’t have our wedding here, due to COVID, but I wanted to leave a review because they were wonderful to work with. The Chrysler and Amber made it easy to book and plan our wedding. They gave us so many resources and were excellent at communicating with us when COVID hit.
The venue is beautiful inside and out and has something for everyone. Can't tell you how many compliments we received on the venue and the staff from our guests. Everyone at the Chrysler Museum during both rehearsal and the wedding day were great to work with - very kind and professional. Mary and Amber were WONDERFUL to work with and they were invaluable working with us and our vendors to ensure we could have a micro wedding (due to Covid restrictions). I would highly recommend the Chrysler Museum of Art!
This venue is absolutely incredible. The building and art added a whole level of class and entertainment throughout the wedding. Amber was wonderful to work with and extremely helpful. We had the best day ever and this location played a huge part in that.
The Chrysler Museum was the most beautiful wedding venue! The staff was amazing and helped accommodate everything I dreamed of for my wedding! It had the perfect mix of elegant and romance! There were so many spots inside and out of this venue to capture all our pictures! The night was perfect! I highly recommend this venue and team!
This museum is beautiful and amazing. From the artwork itself to having events, it has it all. The museum is very accommodating to any size party you will have and the staff are so helpful and nice. My wedding went absolutely perfect!! Highly recommend it!
This venue is absolutely gorgeous. We did our cocktail hour and wedding reception here and received so many compliments on how beautiful it was. Looking at all of our guests from the top of the stairs in Huber Court was magical. The staff was wonderful. I would absolutely love to do it all over again.
I attended my son and daughter in law's reception in October and everything was perfect. We enjoyed the entire day but the reception was the icing on the cake. Everyone had a wonderful time, enjoyed the food, the dancing; the evening was fantastic. Our friends and family were so happy to share this special day with our son and daughter in law; the venue definitely provided an extraordinary night for the Bride and Groom and all who attended. Thank you.
I attended my son and new daughter-in-law's wedding in October. The venue was stunning; everything was perfect, including all the staff, DJ and the catering. I shared pictures on Facebook and friends asked where the reception was, because it was so beautiful; I told them it was the Chrysler Museum. Friends that attended commented that it was the perfect place to have a wedding. The staff was friendly and accommodating from security to the event staff. Thank you for giving our family such a wonderful venue to create our family's most precious memories with our friends and family. Definitely recommend.
Best wedding venue ever. Lots of space to eat and dance, even with almost 200 people there. It was so nice and the food was great!
We recently attended a wedding reception at the museum and it was absolutely magical. It was beautifully set up, the staff was wonderful and everyone had a great time. It was so fabulous that I told my 18 yr old daughter we would need to keep it in mind for her wedding (MANY MANY years from now!) I cant say enough about how pretty it looked!
The Chrysler is a stunning venue for any event that you are hosting. My wife and I had our reception and cocktail hour here for our wedding. The space is very versatile and absolutely gorgeous. There are two gardens and many art galleries that your guests can check which makes the Chrysler a unique and unforgettable venue.
The only thing better than the building and space itself are the people that work there. Everyone, from security to event staff, works hard to ensure your vision is executed. I want to say thank you to all the staff that worked hard to make this space the perfect venue for our perfect day. I can't recommend the Chrysler enough.
We had my daughter's wedding reception at the Chrysler and it was amazing! Everything from the event staff, planning, day of issues, etc. were all performed in a accomodating and professional manner! Every step of the process was covered, in detail, and the recommended additions ended up making this event 'over the top'.
I heard from MANY of the guests, over 170+ that this was the best wedding reception that had ever been too! This reassured my wife and I that we had definitely made the right decision to have our ONLY daughter's wedding reception at the Chrysler.
I would recommend the Chrysler to ANYONE who wants to have a successful event whether it be for business or personal functions. I will be booking them again in the future as I can't be more happy with the service of the staff.
High class venue for a modest, well-worth the price budget!!! Awesome!!!!
What an amazing venue!!! We held my daughters wedding reception in Hubert Court just two weeks ago and it was absolutely PERFECT! Everyone is so pleasant and super easy to deal with! The space is beautiful and the perfect setting for just about any event. We also used the garden area for cocktail hour and it was awesome!! I would highly recommend the museum to anyone having an event!
I could not have pictured a more beautiful setting for my wedding than the The Chrysler Museum. I wanted a romantic, unique setting for our big day and the museum was absolutely perfect. Not only are the spaces gorgeous, but that staff is wonderful as well. Everyone at the museum is so kind and easy to work with. They really go above and beyond to ensure your day goes off without a hitch. Our guests were seriously blown away by the museum and we received SO many compliments. Thank you Mary, Danny, the security team, and everyone else who worked so hard to ensure we had the most magical day!
Chrysler Museum of Art is the most beautiful place any couple could dream of getting married. The place is so beautifully decorated on its own that it requires little to no decoration outside of what’s already provided. Mary C. and Amber L. are a joy to work with and are readily available for any and every question, payment and assistance. They were very helpful, even offering the museum’s resources as needed, in addition to what’s included. Beautiful experience inside and out. Guest’s spoke so highly of the beautiful venue and the experience was wonderful inside and out!
The Chrysler museum made our wedding, the setting was not only elegant and whimsical but the staff were amazing !
We enjoyed our experience here!
All my guests RAVED over our venue! The museum looked STUNNING the night of our wedding. Our cocktail hour was in Mary's Garden and was so perfect, but it was nice knowing we had a back-up option with the Ancient Worlds Gallery in case of rain. Huber Court could not have been more beautiful. All my guests said they felt like they were in Tuscany with the way the room was set up and with bistro lights hung throughout the space. If you are looking for a unique, romantic, and classy venue - look no further! The staff was also super helpful and quick to respond to my questions leading up to the wedding.
The Chrysler Museum was a wonderful venue for our classic summer wedding. Mary and Amber were top notch professionals that guided us through the entire process. Our guests were wowed by the museum and it’s beautiful architecture!
I knew from the first time I ever saw the Chrysler Museum of Art that it would be the location of my wedding. It is such a stunning venue that doesn't require much decor and has great places to get some amazing photos! I was so convinced that I didn't even go to tour any other venues and I was not disappointed! If you are looking for a classy and sophisticated wedding location that will impress even the pickiest of guests, look no further!
Not only was the venue itself amazing, but the staff was a joy to work with. Mary and Elise did an amazing job at explaining all of the particular information about the venue and ensuring everything went smoothly on the planning side, and Danny was an awesome event manager the night of the wedding who was very pleasant to work with and helpful the entire night. You can tell this staff loves what they do and truly cares about their brides.
Along with the wedding day, you get to use the facility for bridal portraits as well on a day that the museum is closed. That sealed the deal for me and my bridal portraits came out amazing due to the gorgeous back drop of the museum. They let you into some areas of the museum they typically don't the day of the wedding and really let you take advantage of the museum feel for your portraits.
Go tour this venue first and save yourself some time. You will fall in love instantly!
The Chrysler Museum was simply a live action fairytale. It was just beautiful. The staff was very helpful before the wedding. During the wedding they were…nice. Though I understand it, the security was a bit much; they didn’t seem to be very flexible. One example: it was hurricane conditions on the day of my wedding and my mother, who was already dressed, came in through the front door and was promptly asked to go around to the service entrance in the pouring rain where they were letting in the wedding party instead of escorting her through the museum. Rules are one thing but there has to be exceptions sometimes. Bottom line, beautiful place, guests love looking at the exhibits during cocktail hour but be prepared for the security.
This location was my first and ONLY choice for a wedding/reception. They were amazing. It was odd having security escort us around but I completely understand why. Plus they were very accommodating.
Be aware that their closing time is VERY strict. There is no lingering after your reception time is over.
HIGHLY recommend
We held our ceremony outside in the courtyard of the museum. Everything about it was absolutely beautiful. We held our ceremony at 6:30pm in June and the giant tree provided most of the courtyard with shade while allowing some bits of the setting sun to shine through the leaves. The aesthetic was perfect. After the ceremony guests were ushered into the galleries of the museum for cocktails while the wedding party was able to take some great pictures in the courtyard and by the water.
Huber court was wonderful for the reception. The marble and high ceilings were very grand and expensive looking, and the glass ceiling was really pretty.
The best thing about this venue is that when you book a certain day, the museum is yours and only yours for that whole day. A lot of other venues we looked at could hold as many as 3 or 4 weddings in one evening in different areas and rooms, so it was nice not to have to deal with other events going on around us. The museum does remain open to the public until 5pm, but vendors can begin arriving and setting up as early as 3pm. The wedding party can arrive as early as they want to start getting ready.
The only 2 things that might be a downfall are that, (1) because the museum is so big and grand, your flower costs will probably me higher because you will need more to fill the space so it doesn't look too minimalistic, and (2) there are no candles allowed in the museum. This is to protect the artwork from potential damage, but it does stink to not be able to have candles on the dinner tables.
Also, I highly recommend up-lighting for the reception to highlight the columns and add a bit of warmth and ambiance. The amber light color is beautiful and looks like candlelight.
Overall, amazing venue for both a wedding ceremony and reception.
While my fiance and I were searching for wedding venues that could provide an outdoor venue for our ceremony and indoor for our reception, we ran across the Chrysler Museum of Art. Their website displayed a beautiful garden and a grand ballroom, but when we actually visited the museum there was MUCH left to be desired in regards to the "garden" (more like patches of grass). However, the ballroom is immaculate and absolutely BEAUTIFUL, STUNNING, BREATHTAKING! If you don't mind have different venues for your ceremony and reception, the Chrysler Museum should most definitely be chosen for either!
I absolutely loved the Chrysler Museum of Art. They were wonderful in helping me achieve the wedding of my dreams. I highly recommend the venue.
I have known for a very long time that I wanted to get married at the Chrysler Museum. I am a lover of art history, specifically of the renaissance, baroque, and neoclassical art that dominates the inside and outside of the museum. I chose my venue before I was even officially engaged. So to look back at my experience at the museum, my expectations were high, and for the most part, those expectations were met. Mary Collins was my contact for the venue, and for the most part, she was very responsive and accommodating. The rental was expensive, but the contract included many items that other venues did not.
The two main issues that drove me to a less than perfect rating both originate from the idea of preferred vendors. First, as a bride, I was always looking for the best deal and best value. I had no choice over the catering company that I could use for the reception. The company came highly recommended when it came to their food, and this recommendation proved accurate, but as I expected, the customer service was very poor until I was finally paired with a specific coordinator that cared and was talented in her position.
The other issue I had was the treatment of some of my chosen vendors. It was made clear that the museum personnel treated vendors differently. This was made most clear during my bridal shoot. When looking online at previous bridal portraits, areas in the museum that were open to preferred vendors, were denied access by my photographer and myself. Moreover, during a few meetings, a lack of professionalism was highlighted by some comments appearing to have the purpose of bullying my vendors. I understand that the Chrysler is a well-respected art institution, but by no means should vendors be treated differently because of the price they pay to be listed on a preferred list.
I am so happy with my choice in the Chrysler, and I was happy with how everything turned out. These negative points were very small factors in the overall experience.
As the museum was very beautiful, there were a number of issues. The museum was undergoing construction, so the gardens and the usual glass rooms were not available for the wedding and cocktaill hour. This was very dissapointing to me, as I wanted an outdoor wedding followed by the reception in the wonderful Hubert court. During the cocktail hour, my bridal party and I had no other place to go, so we were in the same area as the cocktiail hour and our guest waiting to be announced back into the venue. The worst part is that the discount for this inconveinience is not alot. Another issue was that we booked with the chrysler a year in advance and we went through 3 different event planners provided by the Chrysler, which they all gave us different reasons that they could not make good on each others promises. Overall it was a nice place, but the night could have went much smoother. On this particular night we did not want to have to worry about anything, but it just didnt happen.
The Chrysler Museum was the perfect backdrop for our reception. Looking back at our pictures, I see that the night was just as lovely and romantic as I remember :)
I got so many compliments on from guests at my wedding about the museum.
Found this venue on a whim, and wouldn't have changed it for the world! I was on a budget when I did my wedding and the atmosphere more than made up for the lack of decorations. Take advantage of the atmosphere and your wedding will be gorgeous just as mine was :)
The Chrysler Museum was the perfect backdrop for our wedding. It was elegant and classic. The staircase and columns are so beautiful in all of the pictures. Everyone ooohhh-ed and awww-ed at the location. I was so pleased to have our ceremony and reception here. The cocktail hour was a big hit too- it was in the Tiffany Glass Gallery. And even though you aren't allowed to have red wine in the cocktail hour, none of the guests minded at all. Red wine is allowed in Huber Court. The staff was great and really helped me get a vision of how the evening would run during our walk-through.
It's expensive, but totally worth it. I wouldn't have changed a thing.
Mia and the staff at the museum were a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend.
the staff was wonderful to work with. Would highly recommend having a wedding at the Chrysler Museum.
