Chuck was so great!!! We first heard about Chuck from a few friends of my mom who used him for their kids weddings in the past. He is nice and easy to work with - really a great guy. Communication was easy through phone and emails. He was very helpful with providing song lists to get ideas for first dance, etc. and our dance floor was packed all night! We got many compliments from numerous guests that they had a great time dancing. Would definitely recommend!

Chuck was the DJ for both mine and my sister's weddings. He is great to work with and makes the experience easy. Chuck definitely knows how to read a room and keep the guests on their feet! He was also wonderful with cutting down the songs we wanted for the first dance and father/daughter dance to more reasonable lengths. Chuck also reviewed our playlists on Spotify prior to our wedding to get a good idea of what we like to listen to. His son, Jonathan, did a great job with playing the guitar for our ceremony. We had specific songs that we wanted and he was great about giving us multiple options of how he could play the songs. We also had his pianist, Martin, for our cocktail hour. It was wonderful to listen to the piano and start to bring up the energy level post ceremony and pre reception. I highly recommend having Chuck, Jonathan, and Martin at your event!

Chuck DJ’d our wedding reception at The Madison in Morristown, NJ. Even during the planning process, we were impressed by Chuck’s dedication to delivering the best experience possible, which extended all the way to his friendly, reassuring attitude during our many phone conversations. My wife and I had a lot of thoughts when it came to music, and Chuck was open to our ideas while also using his experience and expertise to refine the setlist. We were so grateful to work with someone so collaborative. As an added bonus, Chuck has worked many weddings at The Madison, so he was able to chime in with advice that wasn’t directly related to DJ’ing because he was so familiar with the space. We also got uplighting for the reception space through our package with Chuck, which added the perfect touch to the room’s ambience. Overall, we were so satisfied working with Chuck and were so glad to have him as part of our special day!

Chuck was so much fun to work with and to have at our wedding (October 2022). He is very professional, responsive, and accommodating. He has a great energy; I remember feeling uplifted and excited after going over plans with him on the phone in the midst of stressful wedding planning. He came through on his promise to have everyone dancing all night and made some excellent music selections to complement our requested songs. Everyone from our friends in their 20s to our grandparents raved about the music. His team also did a wonderful job with the uplighting, which gave a soft ambiance to the event. Chuck was absolutely amazing! He was very open to our suggestions and very easy to work with. He gave us great advice on specific song choices which was appreciated. We received so MANY compliments on how great her was. During the ceremony and cocktail his son played beautiful music on his guitar which everyone really enjoyed. At our reception, EVERYONE was on the dance floor all night and having a great time. I was for sure dancing the night the way. He did a great job transitioning English songs to Spanish songs! Chuck was an amazing DJ at our wedding in March 2021. We also hired a surprise string trio through his company for the ceremony and cocktail hour. That was a HIT with our guests and they performed beautifully. Chuck clearly took time to learn about us and our vibe. He made the night elegant and fun. He understands timing for songs, announcements, and customized uplighting very well. Chuck was accommodating and helpful during the planning stages. He is timely and extremely polite. He had great suggestions, which I took and appreciated (like bringing out our guests to join us half way through our first dance song). Also, the noise/volume level was spot on. Everything about the experience with Chuck was perfect! We highly recommend him for weddings and other events!

DJs are so important to help bring a lively and engaging spirit to a wedding. Chuck has that spirit and personality. This was the second time we hired him for our daughters' weddings. Chuck is an experienced, outstanding DJ who listens to the wedding couple's wishes and helps ensure a wonderful wedding celebration. I wish we had another child to marry off so we could enjoy his music again!! We also hired his son Jonathan to play guitar for the ceremony. Jonathan helped to create a very special ambiance.

BEST DJ EVER. When I started looking for a DJ, I was a little nervous. I had a very specific vibe in my for our wedding as well as a very specific idea of what I did not want. I've been to weddings where the music really makes or breaks the mood (sounds dramatic, but I can assure you the wrong choice can lead to some truly awkward moments on the dance floor). That's why we were so lucky to have found Chuck! He made it seamless and easy. He listened to us, then took our ideas and put together a killer playlist that was truly us (if you're wondering, it was an upbeat mix of modern pop, 80s pop, and alternative rock). He was also extremely professional and helpful. Chuck wants to make sure he does right by what you want. And his experience helps him fill in the blanks if you're stuck. Stop reading this and just hire him, already!

Chuck was 1000% all we could have hoped for and more in a wedding DJ! He is the consummate pro. He made us feel like we were his most important clients. He was communicative, a great listener, and really did everything he could to make his job all about us. When we were looking for our wedding DJ we immediately felt comfortable after speaking with Chuck. He was wonderfully communicative during the planning of the wedding, and he really helped guide us in making sure we had an awesome reception. He spent time with us a few times ahead of the wedding to make sure we had our key songs picked out and made us very comfortable that he would get the party started and keep it going when the time came. Sure enough our reception was an absolute blast and our family and friends all loved the music he played. He kept the party going all night! We had an amazing time and Chuck was a big part of it. Chuck is the MAN! From the day we first met, he made us feel comfortable and excited for our day. We moved our wedding up and Chuck had no problem switching the dates and making our day so great! He selected awesome music, announced the titles which we loved, announced everyone's names perfectly and made sure the party kept going. Chuck and his son Jonathan were amazing! My husband and I did not want a super loud wedding with club/party-type music and Chuck delivered! The music he played was perfect and exactly what we wanted. We had our wedding right before everything had to be shut down due to Coronavirus, so many of our guests were unable to attend. I was so nervous that because there were so few people, that no one would want to be on the dance floor. Chuck had almost everyone on the dance floor throughout our reception and we were ecstatic to see that! The days after our wedding we were still getting texts about Chuck and his son and how great they were. Jonathan played for our ceremony. He worked with our song choices and even learned an obscure song that my husband requested off from a video game he loves. It truly made my husband's day. We are so happy with Chuck and Jonathan's work and would highly recommend them!

From the moment me and my husband met Chuck he was extremely helpful and had great advice. He was also always available to answer any questions and made us feel so calm leading up to the big day. Chuck's son played the acoustic guitar during the ceremony which I highly recommend. He is extremely talented and it was so beautiful to walk down the aisle too. I'll never forget it. DJ Chuck was amazing!!!! Our guests were dancing non-stop!! Just when they thought they could take a break, DJ Chuck put on another hit! I couldn't be happier with the order the songs were played. We can’t say enough great things about having Chuck as a DJ for our wedding. We came across him at a bridal showcase at the Madison Hotel (he is the only DJ recommended by the hotel) and we loved the music he played and how he interacted with the crowd. Chuck’s prices were very reasonable compared to other DJs in the area. He was so personable and responded to all emails very quickly. He never tried to take over our reception or make it about him. He played all of the songs we asked him to play. All of our guests complimented the playlist and spoke so highly of our DJ. Chuck - thank you so much for everything! One of my biggest fears was that no one would dance at our wedding. If you are also afraid of this you NEED to have Chuck as your DJ. He was amazing and the dance floor was packed all night. Even months after people are still telling us how much fun they had at our wedding.

Chuck was hands-down the best DJ we could have chosen for our wedding. The dance floor was packed with relatives and friends that we’ve never even seen dance before at other events! Chuck nicely organized the flow of the night without talking too much or trying too hard to get guests dancing. He took all our requests and gave advice when we asked. My cousin recommended Chuck after hiring him for his wedding some odd years ago, and had a great experience. From the moment my fiancé and I met with Chuck, we knew that he was a very personable guy who definitely knew what he was doing! His prices are great for his level of quality! Better than a band! I can't say anything bad about Chuck Russo. He was absolutely amazing! We used him for our ceremony music, cocktail hour, reception, and up-lighting. We booked him about a year in advance, and a couple weeks before the wedding started communicating with him more about the details. He was responsive (better by phone than email), had plenty of resources for us, had such a great attitude, and shared a lot of excitement for our upcoming wedding, all while remaining completely professional. The day of our wedding, everything ran incredibly smoothly. We pulled a couple audibles with how we were going to be walking into the reception and a few other things that he was very flexible with, but most importantly, people were dancing all night long! So many people after the wedding told me that the music was so good, they couldn't take breaks because they didn't want to miss any of the songs. At one point, our photographers pulled my husband and I out to take some night pictures, and it was really neat walking back into the reception and seeing the dance floor packed, regardless of whether we were our there or not. It confirmed what I felt about the whole evening, that people were out there because they were having a blast! I also had a ton of people tell me after the wedding that it was the most fun they ever had at a wedding. I know it's nerve wracking booking a DJ that you have never witnessed in action, but you cannot go wrong with Chuck Russo. He was phenomenal!

The biggest compliment I received besides my wedding dress, was Chuck and his team! Chuck and Jonathan were absolutely spectacular, people were stating how they haven't seen their husband dance that long on a dance floor in a long time. Wow where do I begin? The dance floor was packed the entire night. Chuck was so easy to work with. If we had any questions he always made sure to answer them. We gave him a list of songs and he played basically all of them. We let him know it was more important for our guests to have a good time. One of my friends at the wedding came up to me and asked if I gave him an entire playlist for the night because he was playing 'my kind of music.' Chuck is just that good.

DJ Chuck and his son Jonathan were quite the dream team at our wedding! Chuck's prices are VERY reasonable, and our guests raved about the range of music he played to keep the evening going. He was a great emcee throughout the event, and he was always easy to reach via phone or email throughout the planning process. If your budget permits, I also recommend having Jonathan play acoustic guitar for your wedding ceremony and/or cocktail hour- it was such an incredible experience, and it was something we felt like we'd only ever seen in movies/never thought we'd be able to afford! We'll never forget them!

Chuck was the DJ for our wedding reception at the Grain House Restaurant on 11/9/18. He is awesome! From the very beginning, my husband and I felt comfortable talking with Chuck as he's amazingly approachable. He knew our venue well and was able to offer tips and suggestions based on his experiences which made the night run smoothly. Chuck Russo provided the ceremony music, a jazz trio for our cocktail hour as well as the reception music. He was very prepared and arrived early to make sure the sound (for our beach ceremony) was perfect. The jazz trio really elevated the event and was a nice touch. During the reception, he played all of our must plays and kept the guests dancing throughout the night! Many people complimented our music after the wedding. We highly recommend Chuck for your next event!

We met Chuck at a wedding expo at the Olde Mill Inn and were very impressed by his passion and his thirty years of experience in the business. We thought he might be a good fit for us. We had been pitched by outfits and individuals who were into creating bombastic productions, but he seemed different. He presented himself as a DJ who worked with a couple to create the wedding they envision rather than someone who seeks the spotlight for himself. Our fear was that he would be too expensive for us. We contacted him anyway and found instead that he is incredibly reasonably priced! We appreciated his quick and informative communication and his invitation to come see him work. We took him up on his offer and went to see his introductions for a wedding at the Madison Hotel. Boy are we glad we did. He was exactly as he presented himself. He was not flash and bombast. He wasn’t in the middle of the dance floor. He was classy and professional. We made our decision then and are forever grateful for the DJ we got. Chuck talked to us before the wedding and mapped out our intros and special songs. He inquired about basics and variations—in short his communication was terrific, and his attention to detail superb. At the wedding he was the definition of what we wanted in a DJ—classy, cool, and cooperative. In our eyes he was perfect. My wife gave him an extensive list of songs and he played a great number of them and also mixed in requests from our guests (even one even he didn’t think he had but found for my best man!) and reading the crowd beautifully to keep the night moving and keep everyone happy—and happy they were. That VERY NIGHT we were getting compliments on our music, from my wife’s nineteen year old niece to her ninety-three year-old dad. We still hear raves for Chuck’s work from our guests. He helped create a night for our guests, and for us that could not have been better. It is a night we are proud of and will never forget, and he was such a huge part we can’t thank him or recommend him strongly enough. Chuck was awesome! He DJ'd our wedding this past May. My husband and I love rock music (classic, 80s/90s, modern, etc) but also understand the need for crowd-pleasers, and Chuck thinks on this exact same wavelength. He chose the music perfectly, and he isn't cheesy and doesn't make things all about himself. He doesn't make stupid announcements; he lets the music and the event speak for themselves. We really appreciated how much time he took to work with us to take our input and mix it with his own expertise. He made our wedding flow perfectly.

Chuck was as amazing as expected. I had attended several other weddings that he DJed so I knew what to expect and he definitely delivered. He had everyone up and dancing from the start. When planning my wedding, one of my top priorities was picking music / entertainment that would make the guests dance and ensure they had a good time, regardless of age. We went back and forth between a band and DJ, and then we spoke to Chuck and knew he was the right choice. He just seemed to understand exactly what he needed, likely because he has been doing weddings for so long. He did not disappoint - he was the absolute best choice and was a key part of making our wedding so fun. He knew just what to play and when and could read the crowd perfectly. I could go on and on, but it's best explained by the fact that the dance floor was never empty. Everyone cannot stop talking about how much fun they had dancing two weeks after the wedding. Beyond that, Chuck was so thorough with the little details that make a big difference- i.e. name pronunciation of of bridal party/parents, fading out of the Father daughter dance at just the right time, ensuring guest joined us at just the right point during the first dance song etc etc. He was absolutely amazing, and I really cannot recommend him highly enough!!!

Our vision for music at our wedding was to keep it classy but fun. We started to look for recommendations for a DJ with that vision, everyone 1st recommendation was Chuck. And they were all SO right! First, he is such a pleasure to work with personally. His son played live music during the ceremony and was TREMENDOUS! Chuck worked with us closely on the mix and style of music we wanted for the cocktail hour, dinner and then got everyone on the floor all night for dancing. The Up-lighting he provided set a great look to the room, and the Photo booth he offered was the absolute hit of the night, We got so many compliments on the music for the night and on how fun it was!! 5 stars is not enough of a rating for Chuck, I HIGHLY recommend him!!!

Chuck Russo did an excellent job and fulfilled every promise he made for our big day. He played the types and genres of music that we asked for, left out the ones we specifically didn't want, and was politely firm in talking down would be karaoke stars (although he did play requests that fit the vibe). He knew how to read the energy of the room and matched the music to it. On top of it all, he was a great guy who emailed/called in the weeks leading up to the wedding to make sure he had everybody's names right and all the music in order. All in all, Chuck was an awesome DJ who knows exactly what he's doing and will help create an awesome soundtrack to your wedding!

Chuck was my cousins DJ a year before my wedding. We had a blast dancing at her wedding and knew we wanted Chuck to be our DJ. Our wedding was vintage theme and we knew we needed a classy DJ at our wedding. We didn't want a DJ passing out glow and the dark necklaces and sunglasses to our guests. Chuck Russo is an amazing DJ!!! We just had him DJ our wedding at Perona Farms and he created the perfect atmosphere for the whole day. He carefully went over all of our requests and specifications beforehand. His son Jonathan Russo played classical guitar during our ceremony, which was one of my favorite parts! Then Chuck rocked it during our cocktail hour and reception. He played every single song I sent him as recommendations and then magically filled the rest of the party with perfect song choices. He was professional and animated, but not overbearing. The best DJ we could have asked for!

Chuck Russo is a fantastic wedding DJ! He emcees the night, but does not get obnoxious or in your face. He lets his excellent music choices do the work and get the people on the dance floor. He worked well with our other vendors even when there was a miscommunication and he was inconvenienced. He did everything in his power to make sure we were having a great night. He even checked in on my mom when she stepped out for a moment and made sure she was okay and everything was to her and our satisfaction (he had not worked with or met my mom prior to that day). Chuck was AMAZING! We are still getting compliments on the music!! He had people up dancing the whole time, playing most of the songs on our "must" list. He really listened to what we wanted and paid attention to the type of guests we had at our wedding. Chuck is easy going and very fun to work with. He announced everyone very naturally so it didn't feel like we were at the circus. He also provided the photo booth with an album, sign and two helpers, plus uplighting! Like I said, he was amazing!
