Chuckanut Bay Distillery is quintessential old-meets-new: a modern wedding venue in a historic 20,000-square-foot building in the heart of beautiful downtown Bellingham, WA. This fully renovated location features a large-scale production facility, tasting room, restaurant, bar, rooftop lounge, and grand ballroom for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and celebrations of all kinds. Matt Howell and Kelly Andrews, the owners of Chuckanut Bay Distillery, share a deep passion for premium spirits and beautiful historic buildings. Since starting the business in 2011, they have won national and international awards for their distilled spirits and completely renovated their historic downtown location, which includes a 4,200 square foot Ballroom with capacity to accommodate up to 300 guests cocktail style, 240 reception only, and 160 for ceremony and reception. With an open floor plan bathed in natural light from a wall of windows, this enchanting space is reminiscent of ballrooms of a bygone era, with hints of our distinct Chuckanut Bay Distillery aesthetic. In addition to the Ballroom, the venue has multiple spaces for couples to utilize on their special day, including a private bridal suite and a rooftop bar with an expansive view of the city skyline and Bellingham Bay. Chuckanut Bay Distillery offers full-service catering, with several exquisite menus to appeal to all tastes and budgets.
