My wife and I recently had Chuckwagon cater our outdoor wedding of 130 people. Everything was exceptional, from working with the catering manager, Krista, and the chef, the service...
at the site, to of course the food. We were able to get everything we wanted on time and under budget; you really can't find this quality elsewhere at such a good price! Of the few caterers we tried, Chuckwagon had the best food. Our event included smoky pulled pork from a whole hog, delicious jackfruit for vegan/vegetarians, freshly baked buns, potatoes fried onsite, baked beans, corn, coleslaw, and watermelon--the perfect combo for a beautiful summer day. This was all done seamlessly onsite, which made it very convenient for us. If you're considering caterers for your wedding, we highly recommend Chuckwagon!
Best walley ever—most catering companies cannot perfect fish—Chuckwagon’s is amazing. Guests raved about it!!!

We were very pleased with Chuckwagon Catering. It was the first and only place we met with and they did not disappoint. We decided then and there at our tasting. It was reasonably ...
priced and they offer a huge menu to choose from. Gibby delivered everything we asked for, and our wedding guests couldn't stop raving about dinner! I'm still thinking about that macaroni and cheese... wow. We will think of Chuckwagon Catering for our next big party! Thanks for being part of our day! Highly recommended!
Overall, Chuckwagon Catering was wonderful. The food was delicious and we felt like the company took pride in their food. Our guests raved about everything, so we definitely picked...
a good one! A couple things you might want to be aware of, especially if you aren't a event planner. The catering manager also works many of the events, so while she can be responsive, once busy season started, I felt like it was difficult to get in touch with her. She eventually got back to us, but overall it took more time than most catering companies I've worked with in the past. Also, we requested a special meal for one of the members of my bridal party. While they were accommodating at first, I had to remind them multiple times to add the meal to our invoice (which they did with no problem), then they either didn't make or forgot to bring the meal with day of. It was a little frustrating, but we didn't let us ruin our day because they really did deliver amazing food.
Wonderful food! We did our tasting with them and knew it was for us! They are reasonably priced and work with your budget. Gibby was friendly with us since day one. There was one m...
isunderstanding about pricing but was quickly resolved. They were professional on our wedding day and made things run smoothly.
TERRIBLE! Gibby has not responded to my emails in over a week. She also was rude in her emails. For example: "We do not do “samplings”. We do tastings for our clients mostly" afte...
r i inquired about sampling some of the food. She did not need to correct me on that. She knew what i meant. Or starting out another email by saying " This is an extremely busy time for us. " I have been in customer service for 8 years and this is not how to talk to potential clients. I would of said "i apologize but i can not meet until __ due to the time of year". She gave me nothing but negative vibes and i will NOT be using Chuck Wagon.
Can't say enough about the team at Chuckwagon! It was so nice to feel that they were equally invested in making our wedding great. Gibby was a pleasure to work with and open to mee...
ting a couple of special requests that were important to us. Everyone raved about the food - HUGE hit! The mac 'n cheese was a special favorite, but everything was so delicious. Thank you Chef Ken!
We actually went through their Special Events and Catering department rather than Chuckwagon but I believe it's all the same. Gibby was a pleasure to work with right from the start...
. The whole time they were very open to anything we were requesting and were very accommodating. Their prices were reasonable and within our budget. The staff, the day off, were very courteous and professional. We would definitely use them again!
We had a rustic/vintage wedding so we wanted to do a pig roast and we are so glad we found Chuckwagon Catering! The food is amazing, and they make it all fresh on site. Everyone wa...
s raving about the food, especially the baked potatoe wedges. Chuckwagon is great to work with, very quick to respond to calls/e-mails and very professional. They even cut/served our cake since our wedding wasn't at a vendor that had a cake-cutter. They let you take home all of the left-over food too, which is awesome. We definitely recommend them!
I have nothing bad to say about Chuckwagon. I had a rustic/vintage, outdoor wedding and loved that an actual chuckwagon was outside our venue and all the food was cooked FRESH on-s...
ite. The value was great for what we paid. They custom created a menu for us and were SO easy to communicate with. Everything they promised...they delivered (which is hard to find with wedding vendors). Ours guests said the food was great! I would definitely recommend them.
The food was absolutely delicious. We heard many positive comments from guests about our choice of food. The price range was perfect for my husband and I and we received a wide var...
iety of food in their "party with a pig" option. The service was also good. The catering manager was very flexible and worked with requests we made to have appetizers before the dinner in the two weeks prior to our event. We had good communication with the catering manager for the most part. The one discrepancy that we had was the time they were going to show up on the day of the event to set up place settings, etc. In the end, everything got done on time and I couldn't be happier with they way things worked out.
We chose Chuckwagon for our backyard BBQ reception and were 100% pleased with our choice. Despite having a handful of vegetarian and vegan guests, we chose the "Party with a Pig" ...
pig roast option and the chuckwagon staff were able to modify the standard menu items to include more vegetarian options and even added vegan burgers and vegetable kabobs, which aren't usually on the menu. Top it off, they even labeled the food so that the guests would know what was vegetarian, what was vegan, etc. The food was spectacular and everyone commented that it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. The price was extremely reasonable - about a fourth of what most wedding caterers charge (probably because they are not a typical wedding vendor). They even boxed up the leftovers for us before they left. We would have them cater our next event in a heartbeat.
