Chunky Daddy performed at our 2/17/24 wedding and it was a SHOW! They played nice dinner music and then when we opened up the dance floor, they really had the entire wedding dancing! Everyone has raves about how awesome the performance was and several guests asked us for their information for their own future events! They also provided mics, sound, and played our selected music for the ceremony and cocktail hour in additional to the music they performed at the reception. They were awesome to work with, and we are so grateful for helping us have the wedding dance party of our dreams.
We booked Chunky Daddy for my daughter's wedding in Hendersonville, NC and they were amazing!! Matt was always very quick to get back to me and very accommodating. The band arrived in plenty of time to set up and sound check before the reception started and were very professional. The best part, though, was that they sounded AWESOME! My husband is a musician and can be pretty critical of other bands - he was blown away by the talent of Chunky Daddy. Our guests danced all night and everyone had the best time. If you have the opportunity to hire this band, do not hesitate!!

Chunky Daddy was amazing! We hired them for our wedding in Charlotte and they rocked the house. Their standard set list is great, and they were able to accomodate requests ahead of time too. The band leader Matt was a pleasure to work with, very professional, prompt and flexible. I’d strongly recommend them, thank you again!

This band was amazing! We hired them for our wedding in Greenville SC. The band was so lively and had a great song selection. Matt made me feel so comfortable about our music for wedding day and we couldn’t imagine our big day without them! Highly recommend if you are looking for a good time!

If you’re looking for a wedding band, these guys are it! Matt was easy to get in touch with and always responded promptly to emails. They are fantastic! The music was great and the dance floor was always bumping- exactly what you want at your wedding. They even learned our songs for our special dances. Everyone at our wedding was impressed! This band is amazing! I hired them for my daughters wedding in Heath Springs SC. It was an amazing night. The band was set up for an outside wedding and accommodated all our needs from the wedding music, announcing the bridal party and then playing awesome music for hours. Best band ever!

I’m a sucker for a good band and this was the one thing I cared about the MOST at my wedding. These guys NAILED it! They performed at our wedding a couple nights ago and I cant tell you how many people kept commenting on how talented they were. The Funky Chunk Daddy Band will not disappoint you, I can truly promise you that. They were worth every penny and so much more! Trust them and they will take care of you. Chunky Daddy was an absolute BLAST at our wedding reception! They kept our guests up on their feet and on the dance floor all night long! We had such a great time! Their talent is evident, professionalism was great, communication/response time was quick and easy, punctuality was great! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a fun party band for their reception or event!
Chunky Daddy ROCKS! They were the best decision we made for our wedding. We got married on New Year's Eve at Highland Brewing, and they brought the party & had people on the dance floor the whole night. We love live music and knew that we wanted to spend the extra money in our budget on a band. I was a little nervous not having actually *seen* the band live before the wedding, but trusted the reviews & videos - and we were NOT disappointed! Matt was super friendly, responsive & helpful through the whole planning process and delivered on everything, including all our last minute notes/questions. Even when they weren't playing, Matt was a great MC - when I heard him start announcing our wedding party to Thunderstruck, I knew it was going to be an awesome night. And as soon as they kicked off music for the night, we were blown away by how talented & fun they are! They played a great variety of music, had everyone singing along to Sweet Caroline & Wagon Wheel, and even played a special version of Auld Lang Syne we requested for midnight. We hired Chunky Daddy for our 25th anniversary party and vow renewal. We were blown away! They are absolutely fantastic and our guests loved every minute of their music and performance. If you are looking for an amazing band Chunky Daddy is the band to choose. They were professional but also fun to work with. They made sure everything ran smoothly and even took request and nailed them. We would give them 10 stars if possible. If we ever need a band again we will be 100% contacting them again. Oh and the price was amazing!!!!
The BEST band! We couldn’t have had a better experience with The Chunky Daddy Band. They worked with us after 2 Covid postponements to our wedding celebration and traveled to OBX for us. They learned a special song for us to dance with our daughter, and it was the highlight of our day. Matt went out of his way to make sure everything would go smoothly for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, coming by the venue the day before to scope everything out. His communication along the way made us feel well taken care of. They are upbeat, fun, and super talented! We wish we could do it all again just so we had more time on the dance floor to relive this experience. You cannot top this band!
This band was SO MUCH FUN! We had about 175 guests and almost all of them were on the dance floor the whole time. They were so amazing, and the guests could not stop raving about how talented they were - ESPECIALLY the lead singer. They were so easy to work with and really communicative leading up to the wedding and did great MCing the whole event. Highly recommend!!!

Chunky Daddy made our wedding day absolutely perfect. From cocktail hour, to the entrances and getting the crowd moving, they never missed a beat. We have received so many compliments on how amazing the band was with their song choices and involving our special requests. They even let us (bride and groom) sing on stage! We were so happy with how everything turned out.
Chunky Daddy was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! More than a month later, our family and friends are still telling us how amazing the band was at our reception. They ensured the evening flowed well, and they kept the party going.
Matt was incredibly easy to work with, always quick to respond and a true professional. Although the music and sound for the ceremony and reception were some of the key elements of the day, they required the least amount of thought and planning, thanks to Matt's coordination and expertise.
We would HIGHLY recommend Chunky Daddy!

Choosing a live band over a DJ for your wedding may feel like a riskier option. But let me tell you, if you book Chunky Daddy you will absolutely not experience a hint of disappointment. They were FANTASTIC! Like many couples, we wanted the dance floor at our wedding reception to be hopping and that is exactly what Chunky Daddy was able to provide. Our guests continue to rave about them as well. Aside from their music abilities, Matt was a pleasure to work with. No need to look any further for a band, Chunky Daddy's got you covered!

Just left my daughter’s wedding and before I get to rest I must let everyone know that the wedding reception was beyond anything we could have anticipated. Chunky daddy had everyone on the dance floor non stop for 3 hours straight! All night guests were approaching me telling me how this was the best wedding band they have ever heard!! Seriously, I have never experienced a wedding band like Chunky Daddy! Best wedding band ever!

Hired Chunky Daddy for my wedding in Sept. 2021 and they were INCREDIBLE! I talked to Matt throughout the whole planning process and he was very responsive, helpful, accommodating, and super easy to work with. The band blew my (already high) expectations out of the water! My guests kept coming up to me throughout the night (and texted me days later) about how amazing they were. They interacted with the crowd, helped me with announcements, and so much more. They kept everyone dancing, singing, and having fun for the whole reception! Highlight of my wedding by far. I can't recommend Chunky Daddy enough!!!

My husband and I wanted a live band for our wedding and I’m so glad that we found Chunky Daddy! They were everything and more of what we hoped for!! We used them acoustically for our ceremony and cocktail hour and then the whole band for the reception. They kept the party going throughout the night and were very accommodating! What a wonderful group full of such talented musicians. Chunky Daddy made our wedding day perfect especially in the rain. They have such great personalities and are such a pleasure to speak with. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jeremy who is the band’s main contact. The band was so entertaining and played such great music that had everybody dancing and wanting more. I highly recommend this band as you won’t regret it.
Chunky Daddy Band literally MADE our wedding. My husband (!!) and I love live music and knew we wanted a band for our wedding. However, being a musician myself I also have really high standards for the quality of the band we were going to hire. As soon as we saw Chunky Daddy's promo video, we knew we had struck gold. Then, working with them was even better! They were super responsive to our last minute emails and questions and really brought the party. Every one of our guests loved dancing the night away with Chunky Daddy.
It was an unforgettable night and I will 10000% percent recommend Chunky Daddy Band to anyone and everyone!

Not a single negative thing to say. They put on a great show for our wedding (Coordinated ceremony music, intros, light dinner music, and awesome post dinner sets). Never had to worry one bit about music, and for anyone planning any event, that was a huge stress reliever.

This band had no trouble getting the crowd to their feet...young and old alike. With a stellar vocal and jazzy saxophonist along with funkin fabulous guitar and drums they managed to play everyone’s favorites. Fun fun fun

Hired this band for my daughter's wedding. So much fun! They even learned a song for her first dance. High energy and had everyone on the dance floor. They returned calls and emails promptly. Matt and his crew made my wedding! They were so fun and they know how to read a room. They play everything from the classics to pop and can get the crowd pumped up! These guys were awesome! Everyone stayed out on the dance floor at our wedding all night. They hit the right party vibe, and all of our guests kept telling us how fun the band was. We'd highly recommend them!
Matt/The Chunky Daddy Band were fabulous! All our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the band, they exude a great vibe! The Chunky Daddy Band played to our crowd yet are very professional. Matt was easy to work with and his bandmates are very friendly...Jeremy was exceptionally ‘Sax’y 😘I would highly recommend them for any wedding or social function.
Matt and his team were fabulous! Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the band, it really does offer a totally different energy. They are complete professionals and made our day super easy. The biggest piece of advice I would give a bride to be is to hire vendors you trust...who will simplify your life, not complicate it...Matt and his team are those kind of people!

5-Stars without question!!! Chunky Daddy Band is a must have at your wedding! I was looking for an upbeat, fun, crowd pleasing, keep the dance floor crowded kind of band and they are just that! I knew from the start after one phone call with them that they would be a perfect band for our special day. Matt and Jeremy were great communicators form the start. They worked well with my day of coordinator & venue directors. They executed the ceremony music perfectly and played every song I hoped for. One of my favorite things is that they performed our first dance songs...I feel that is such a special touch that you just can’t get with a DJ. They also did a fabulous job of mixing up genres to accommodate all ages. Not to mention they are just down right fun!! Our wedding day was unforgettable and Chunky Daddy Band played a huge role in that.

Such an awesome band! Their spirit, energy, and of course, sound, were wonderful. Our wedding really turned into a fun party with this group. They were professional, easy to communicate with (not true of every vendor), and were the perfect choice for our wedding. They certainly can play, but what sets them apart is the energy they bring, the crowd engagement, helping make announcements, being flexible, helping me (nervous bride) set up a music stand for a violinist when my hands were shaking. Chunky Daddy knows what they're doing. We've been to weddings where the band can play and give honor to the songs well, but aren't strong in making the night feel personal or engaged with the crowd and couple. From our young friends to the not so young, all had nothing but amazing things to say about Chunky Daddy. Thank you, thank you!

It was great working with Chunky Daddy. I helped DJ Dean and Megan's wedding. They let me plug my DJ equipment into their sound gear (which was top notch, by the way!) for the special songs for the couple.
So easy to work with. I would definitely work with them again!
And, they are an amazing band! I hear a lot of bands at weddings. Chunky Daddy played a great mix of new and classics and kept everyone dancing all night!

Awesome band! Live party music is the best kind of music, and these guys definitely know how to throw a party. Excellent atmosphere, wide variety of songs, these guys are 100% professional in every aspect of their trade. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We loved Chunky Daddy! They did such a great job stirring up the party mood and help kick start the dancing at our wedding. They did a great job playing a variety of music for the different ages and styles of people- everyone was having a good time! Having live music was such a good choice- well worth the price for such a cool atmosphere! I 100% recommend them!

Hands down the BEST wedding band you can get! As a professional touring musician myself, I was beyond impressed with absolutely everything from their professionalism, stage setup, appearance, sound, and overall just put on the best show for the crowd and even played requests on the fly! From my experience not only as a musician, but as well as a groom, I would 100% suggest this band EVERY TIME. Take my word, you'll be glad you did.

Chunky Daddy was a BLAST at our event!! These guys are hands-down one of the best bands on the CLT circuit. They not only play an incredible mix of popular songs, but their stage presence and showmanship and second to none. Highly-recommended!

I recently got married and our reception was just fantastic thanks to The Hunky Chunky Funky Party Band!! They were so much fun and no matter what they were playing ~ rock, pop, country, oldies or beach music ~ there was not a soul sitting down!! They are an incredible group of musicians! My wedding planner told me ~ "good music is SO important" and she was exactly right!! Our reception was full of great songs, dancing and fun!
