Worked with Navjot from Chutney Masala for our wedding reception, and he went above and beyond to make our day amazing! We booked him only a month out, and he and his staff were in...
credible from start to finish. They made our guests feel comfortable, and the amount and quality of food was outstanding.
Our guests were already full and satisfied after the appetizers, but everyone still made room for dessert! The falooda was especially amazing — I personally had three of them!
I would 100% recommend Navjot and Chutney Masala to anyone looking for delicious South Asian food, excellent service, and an experience your guests will remember. Everyone left with a full and happy belly!
Navjot at Chutney Masala (he is also the owner of Sambal, a great SouthEast Asian restaurant also in Irivington) did a fantastic job catering my daughter's wedding. He catered our ...
Friday night Garba (Indian Folk Dance program) and Saturday wedding dinner (after the cocktail hour that was catered by the venue). He seamlessly worked with the site and their caterer's and thought of details I hadn't. Their dishes were creative and delicious; he had great suggestions on the menu, set-up, flow of event, etc. He was a really good listener too. Everyone at our wedding loved the food: Americans without any Asian heritage, Indian Americans, Indians, and Southeast Asians. He also was able to add some Southeast Asian elements to the menus (from Sambal) since we wanted some food to represent the groom's Thai and Filipino origins. And he even sourced Ube ice cream when he heard that was one of the groom's favorites. And we were delighted to hear that my daughter's favorite dessert when she visited Thailand -- mango sticky rice -- was on Sambal's menu but with a locally-sourced twist: pumpkin sticky rice. I can't say enough good things about them -- eat at their restaurant at the very least -- the food is delicious.
Navjot and his team did a wonderful job. They not only catered two of our events, but also hosted two brunches for my wedding party during the weekend of my wedding. Each event had...
such tasty food. Everyone kept on commenting on how wonderful all the dishes were. At the wedding, everyone raved about the selection at cocktail hour as well as the main buffet. Navjot was so easy to work with and made sure everything was taken care of as we had discussed prior. He was willing to accommodate special dietary restrictions and really made our events perfect!
Highly recommend Navjot and the Chutney team. You won’t find better Indian food in the Westchester area. His team is easy to work with and we got dozens of compliments on the food....
He catered our Haldi, Sangeet for 230, and lunch. Very reasonably priced for what they offer.
We had a small wedding, and Chutney Masala catered for our appetizers and an Indian dessert (gulab jamun). They were fantastic, and my in-laws were so impressed with the food! We w...
ill be visiting for dine-in if we track back to Westchester in near future.
Navjot catered my and my husband Ali's wedding on June 30, 2018 at Monteverde at Oldstone. He is an incredible person, and was very honest and forthcoming through the entire proces...
s. I found him to be the single most accommodating and professional caterer through all of our wedding events and highly recommended him to friends in the Hudson River Valley area. He cooks great Indian food and since we are Pakistani and couldn't find a Pakistani caterer for 200+ people in the area he helped us with the menu as much as he could. Our guests LOVED the food on the wedding day. Thank you Uncle Navjot for helping us create the most magical wedding we could have ever dreamed of!
Our Sangeet Dinner by Chutney Masala Catering (from Westchester, travelled to Hudson Valley for our event) was phenomenal. This meal may have been everyone’s favorite, as Indian fo...
od is even the Queen’s Sunday dinner. At Sangeet, we had live street food stations of Aloo Tikki Cholley, Punjabi Papadi Chat, and Chili Chicken. We had passed appetizers of Aloo Samosas, Fish Amritsari, Lamb Seekh Kebab, Hara Bhara Kebab, Bhajjia, and Chicken Achari Tikka. The actual meal consisted of staples like Bhindi Masala, Saag Paneer, Lamb Rogan Josh, Baigan Bharta, Saffron Pulao, and more. It was a feast! Navjot Arora and his team were amazing to work with, and we would do it again in a heartbeat. Definitely a top 3 favorite vendor we would recommend, and was in fact recommended to us through our closets family friends.
