Absolutely recommend Chuy's for your event! Of course the food was fantastic - we had lots of compliments on it from guests - a great price, and the team was so low fuss and professional and flexible. They also flipped our ceremony site to dinner tables, and cleaned up at the end of the night. It was an extra thoughtful touch to send my husband and I home each with a plate of leftovers, even though other family members took most of the food for us. Very welcome surprise when we got home and realized we were starving!

aintenance about your food selections, then Chuy's is an excellent pick. There won't be really any communication from them after you sign a contract, but there doesn't really need to be. They don't offer many different payment options -- they request your cc # about a week before the wedding, so if that bothers you then take that into consideration. However, their level of service on our wedding day was TOP NOTCH. They were regularly checking on us to see if we needed anything. They made our plates for us so that our coordinators could focus on dismissing tables and they were so kind to me. One of the servers was hyping me up right before I walked down the aisle, which was so sweet of her! They packed up our leftovers & they cut our cake for us! Such a good experience.

At the end of the night they packaged all the leftovers for us and cleaned up after dinner and cake service. Don't hesitate to book them they are spectacular

booked, I think they were in the middle of transitioning people in the catering department so I gave some grace with that. However, everything for the day of and the weeks leading up to the wedding they were amazing and very responsive so they made up for that. The fajitas were incredible and the servers and staff that helped at our wedding we courteous, respectful and so kind. They were able to provide all the services our venue required for catering and they followed the plan without a hitch. I am so grateful we used them to provide a buffet for our wedding and would not hesitate to recommend them in the future. We were so happy with the food, service and attention to detail for our wedding!

The only issue I had was that I often needed to send a follow-up e-mail to receive responses from them and they would not provide flipping services for my ceremony. I think portraying yourself as a full service caterer would imply that you offer these services. However, I still would highly recommend due to great service, tasty food, and working with me on changing the allotted time needed last minute.

ve a tasting and talk logistics. She was knowledgeable and super sweet! Through the final planning stages, we updated her with the numbers and specialty meals we needed and they accommodated easily! We even had a guest who has a corn allergy so I bought my own corn-free tortilla chips for her to eat queso with Chuy's put them in a separate basket and delivered it to her assigned table. The dinner ran smoothly with 190 people with buffet and we had ample amount of food that my parents took home! They were wonderful to work with and the food was delicious! As well, the staff bused our tables, handled trash and clean up that we paid extra for due to the venue's rules. They were great!

expected and was such a treat for our out-of-town guests as well as for all of us who are already Chuy's fans.
The two caterers who came to our event were both exceptionally polite and conscientious, and they went above and beyond in all regards. They were so helpful in many ways - tending the food, assisting guests, clearing plates, packing leftovers - and they stayed until the room was spic and span at the end of the evening.
Mica was prompt and helpful with emails and phone calls during the planning phase. The whole experience exceeded my expectations and I could not be more pleased!

If you work with them, I would make sure you have a few people you can contact since they can be hard to get a hold of/ get a response from. It was a little bit of a frustrating experience when we were trying to get all the details together for the day, but they did a great job in the end for the actual day. We actually just launched our full service catering on August 26th. Previous to this date you were working with a restaurant. The managers in our stores had their time divided between running their restaurant and taking care of events outside of our stores.
Now with our new catering department we have one contact that is always available and only focuses on making sure that every event goes perfectly. I am so sad that we did not have this in time for your wedding.

atering guy he said that its hard to keep the burritos warm and from drying up and recommended we stick to fajitas. I was a little bummed since the burritos are my absolute favorite. They ended up bringing 2 burritos just for me and the groom (which were warm and delicious!!) as well as a free meal for 2 since they werent able to do the burritos for everyone.
Everyone loved the fajitas. They also provided beans, rice, chips, and creamy jalapeno.
Everything was perfect!!
