We had Chuy's Tex Mex cater our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with our choice! The food was absolutely delicious and received rave reviews from all our guests.
The staff from Chuy's were wonderful. They were not only incredibly nice but also very professional. They arrived on time and set everything up quickly and efficiently, ensuring that our guests were served promptly and with a smile.
Their service added a delightful touch to our wedding, making it even more special. We are so grateful for their hard work and attention to detail. If you're looking for fantastic food and outstanding service for your event, we highly recommend Chuy's Tex Mex catering!

We chose CHUYS to cater our wedding on 06/24/2024 as it is one of our favorite restaurants. We are so pleased by their services and quality of food. Guests were satisfied and their communication throughout the planning process was very thorough. We are so happy with our decision to go with non-traditional wedding food as it was absolutely delicious and affordable!
Positives: Good communication prior to the event, reasonable pricing, left over food packaged up properly.
Negative: It took a very long time to serve the meal. I wish we would have actually timed it. The venue and coordinators said the slow serving was not normal for Chuy's. Maybe they had new servers.

Chuys was absolutely phenomenal. They were so easy to work with and were very communicative throughout the process! Plus, the food was delicious, of course! We had creamy jalapeño dip for our cocktail hour and fajitas for dinner. They made our plates for my husband and I and for our guests it was a buffet! Everyone loved the food!

Chuy’s was prompt in their responds, extremely professional, and the food was excellent! They provided to-go supplies and even brought dinner to the groom and I. We really appreciated that!

Chuy's was recommeded as a wedding caterer by a friend who had used them a few months prior. We were not disappointed! The food was great and the service was even better!

Truly enjoyed having Chuys as our food choice. They were so easy to work with from the get go. Nikki was very responsive and quick to answer emails. The food was a hit with our guests. Unfortunately our queso fountain malfunctioned, but all was handled. Would definitely recommend!

Chuy's was the pinnacle of an organized, professional, and well done catering. From meeting us to understanding our wedding size, they understood what we wanted and provided delicious food all our guests loved! They were also great with packing up the leftovers so we got to eat their delicious food for the next few days. Would highly recommend!

I could not possibly recommend Chuy’s catering more highly! The tasting experience was friendly and helpful. Their communication leading up to the event was clear and they responded to any changes kindly. At the event, our caterers were punctual, professional, and efficient! They were clean, communicated with us clearly, and packaged our leftover food so well. The food was excellent and we had many out-of-towners wondering if they had a Chuy’s near them! It was a wonderful experience working with Chuy’s and I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

The experience started with the booking, Nikki was awesome, and the Catering staff was accommodating, personable, and professional. They were available when needed, they were timely, and cleaned up as expected.
We had them catered at our wedding, and they did not disappoint! We had the salsa bar for cocktail hour, the fajitas for dinner, along with the tres leches! Our guest raved about the food! The service was amazing, and at an unbeatable price, that wasn't just "typical wedding food". Nikki was great to work with, and the servers did a lovely job at the end of the night as well. Differently recommend for a wedding!

We were extremely pleased with the catering at our wedding by Chuy's. We received amazing feedback from our guests about how the food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We had a really fun setup at cocktail hour with a salsa bar and queso fountain which everyone loved. Chuy's Catering was able to serve all of our guests in a very timely manner and was extremely professional throughout the entire process. They provided timely responses and answered all of our questions quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend Chuy's for your wedding - they were amazing!

Chuy's Tex Mex - San Antonio was absolutely amazing!!!! We booked them to cater our wedding, and we were blown away by the service!!! Nikki and Jamie and other members of the team were so professional and helpful from the very first correspondence and they helped us plan the perfect dinner menu for our guests! We made a few changes to our package throughout the planning process, and they were so patient and accomodating. The day of the wedding, the service provided was absolutely impeccable and our guests all LOVED the food! Their team truly went above and beyond, and we would highly recommend Chuy's Tex Mex San Antonio for any occasion!!

We'd like to give a big shout-out to Chuy's for the delicious buffet they provided for our daughter's recent wedding reception! Nikki, the catering manager, was very professional and easy to work with. She willingly answered our many questions and talked through all aspects of the happy hour and buffet service. Also, big "thanks" to Jamie and the whole on-site crew, who provided excellent service throughout the evening. We have received many compliments on the delicious food. They were very helpful in packing up a meal-to-go for the bride and groom and all remaining leftovers for us to take home. Thank you, Chuy's! We don't hesitate to recommend that you select Chuy's as your wedding caterer.

Chuy's was perfect! It was affordable and our guests loved it. They handled our cocktail hour (chips and salsa bar) our dinner (vegetarian fajitas), our water station, and bussed the tables after dinner.

Chuy’s was amazing in both service and quality. They set up everything perfectly and served us as the bride and groom. I highly recommend adding the queso and creamy jalapeño fountains to your package! They bussed the tables at the end and their whole team was very sweet and professional.

The catering team was amazing! They went above and beyond for everyone at our wedding! The enchiladas were great and queso, salsa, flautas, and quesadilla happy hour was a bit! Would definitely recommend Chuy’s catering for any event!

Chuy’s was very easy to work with! They have done this a lot and know what they are doing! The food was excellent and we got lots of compliments on the tasty food. My only disappointment was that we ran out of Queso before the meal even started. Guests were looking to have Queso with their meal also but it was gone. I think beans and rice ran out also because even though we were sent home with 3 tins full of meat, there was no beans and rice. I would want to make very sure that there was going to be plenty of the staple items. We paid for 230 people and actually had around 200 attend so I feel like we shouldn’t have run dry on anything.
Other than that, Chuy’s was great. Good food, hard working and attentive staff and affordable.

We booked Chuy's for our wedding 11/18/22. The food was all delicious and plentiful. We had the Mamacita Fajita Bar that comes with beef and chicken fajita, rice, beans, and all the fixings. We also had the salsa bar for cocktail hour which was a huge hit with the queso, salsa, and jalapeño dip. The servers were all very friendly. You can rent linen for their tables only if needed. They packaged up all the leftovers and also made a small to go bag of all the food specifically for us to take when we left that night. We also payed for cake cutting and the bussing of the tables. We've had zero complaints from our guest about the food or service, and still get compliments of how soft and tasty the food was.

The food was great, but we paid $100.00 for a salsa fountain. The fountain turned out to be very small and was located in an area that very few saw.
There was only one line of servers for over 175 people, therefore, it took extremely long to get food.
When my final bill came, I paid it with a credit card. When I looked at the charge, I was charged an extra $400.00. When I questioned it, I was told the final bill did not add up correctly so I had to pay the extra $400.00.

I was the wedding coordinator for a wedding Chuy’s catered. The Chuy’s crew was AMAZING!!! They were set up and feeding right on time. Not only was the food delicious, the service was perfect! We were very pleased with food, service and presentation at our daughter’s wedding. The food was all delicious and plentiful. We had beef and chicken fajitas, rice, beans, chips queso and all the fixings. The servers were all very friendly and efficient. They brought greenery and floral to make their tables look nice and it matched our decor very nicely. I was concerned when my Chuy’s contact confirmed final count close to the wedding date as she told me they were completely booked and maxed out for catering on our date. They could not bring any tables, thankfully our venue had tables available, Chuy’s did provide the linen for their tables. Even though they were maxed out for catering that date they provided wonderful food and service. They packaged up all the leftovers quite nicely and made a wonderful bag of all the food for my daughter and new son in law to take when they left that night. I heard several comments that evening about how good the food was, so I would say it was a great success!

We were beyond pleased with this establishment. The communication was great! Servers were there in plenty of time and so pleasant. Our guests loved the food! We ordered the Big Daddio Fajita Setup with all the dips and sauces, as well as, tea and lemonade. I highly recommend hiring the servers, as they set up, pack up left overs, and clean. We didn't have to worry about a thing!!!

Who doesn’t love fajitas?!? From the time that our friends and family heard that we were having Chuy’s fajitas at our wedding, everyone was excited! Chuy’s fajita buffet made it really easy to accommodate guests with different dietary restrictions, including vegetarians and vegans. We were a little worried about the buffet with about 150 people, but the line seemed to move quickly. One pleasant surprise that we had was that the catering staff prepared not only a plate for both of us during our reception, but they also make up a to-go plate for each of us for later that night. At the end of the night, they packed up all the leftovers in containers that could be taken home and eaten later. Overall everyone, including us, really enjoyed having Chuy’s fajita buffet at our wedding.
