st! My dancing dress was heavily altered from a larger off-the-rack sample and she added 4 bustles which were easy for my MOH to find night-of. She even gave me the scraps without me asking and I’ve used them for crafts! My favorite thing is that I never felt rushed during either appointment.

She also was able to take out the boning in the back so it didn’t buckle and fix the bust for me being small chested. She also fixed the button for the cross cross low back so it looked more aesthetically pleasing. You couldn’t even tell she has made the alterations she did! Everything held up perfectly for my hiking wedding! She makes things so simple and easy with alterations. Her skill is amazing and personality is just icing on the wedding cake! I don’t have enough kind words to describe my experience working with her but her professionalism and kindness start the moment at first interaction. Setting up my appointment was a breeze, but do be warned to book ASAP as she is in demand (for a good reason!). Her bright personality, professionalism and knowledge shine through during your appointment as well as she greets all clients with so much warmth and excitement to be working on your wedding gown. Even though my gown was a made to order dress, it was advised by the company to secure a seamstress as it is made in size ranges and while some brides need zero alterations, some may wish to make a few. I had an unfortunate experience with the manufacturer of the gown that resulted in me having to quickly change my appointment date with Ciara. The gown was to arrive 8 weeks before the wedding date and my alterations appointment was 7 weeks from the date. Well, a manufacturing error in the gown resulted in me having to ship it back to Australia and I wouldn’t receive the gown for another four weeks. As you can imagine my stress of this error so close to my wedding day, Ciara was so kind, reassuring and accommodating in moving my appointment to a new date that was extremely close to my wedding date without penalty. Her poise and kindness were helpful in keeping me calm about this massive schedule upheaval. For that alone, I can’t thank her enough. My alterations were fairly minor when considering the spectrum of needs, and included a bustle and strap adjustments. She truly helped make my gown the perfect gown for my big day! I recommend her to every bride in the area asking for a seamstress to care for their gowns.

She made my dress fit perfectly, even when I was having doubts that it might have been too tight she reassured me that it was supposed to fit like that and she was right! After her alterations to my off the shoulder straps, taking in the dress to fit every curve on my body, and a bustle that had about 7 clips that were invisible she made my dream dress a reality. To have trust in your seamstress is huge, to have one that will hold your hand about your dress worries is even better! Ciara is the best at what she does, I can promise you that! Stomach churning, I know, but I knew who to call. My Fairy Godmother was none other than the fearsome, the powerful, the saver-of-lives herself: Ciara's Alterations. She brought me in ASAP and took no shortcuts. She was extremely informative and gave me excellent advice. She’s seen it all and knows how to make it work. I left feeling 100% confident and 200% excited. LADIES I needed a high hem on an entirely lace gown. I needed both sides taken in from my armpit to my thighs and the gown was fit👏ted👏 And she also had to make the boobs smaller and I still have no understanding of how that physically occurred. I picked up my dress the day before my wedding and I’ve never worn something that fit me so flawlessly. Tearing up right now just thinking about it. My dress was my dream come true and I am inexplicably thankful to Ciara and her team for making it happen.
