part of. This is truly not the case with the Ciccarellis - in our experience they have the ability to both produce wonderful photographs and seamlessly take part in your special day. We had our wedding in August and they were an invaluable addition to the day. Not only do they both seemingly have unending energy to continue to get you excited throughout the day, but they also are completely infectious. We had many guests that mentioned to us how much they enjoyed having the Ciccarellis at our wedding and that they loved interacting with them (which is great, especially because they are so skilled at capturing these joyful interactions on film). Finally, we really loved how purposeful they were in making sure that we were comfortable with them on the wedding day. Included in their wedding package is a complimentary engagement photo shoot which enabled them to get to know us before our wedding (as well as produced great photos for our save the dates). I was skeptical at first (extra photos seemed a bit gratuitous), but it really did help us feel comfortable with them on our wedding day and enabled them to capture a lot of genuine interactions, rather than just staged photos. I'm glad that they also do family photos so that when we decide to have children, we can have an excuse to see the Ciccarellis again! Thank you so much for making our day so special.

h. They were extremely communicative and responsive, and made sure we collaborated on a shot list so nothing would be forgotten on our wedding day. We had an extremely large bridal party, which Marissa and Erik managed to wrangle with effortless grace. We had wanted some shots in one location, but given the size of our party, Marissa & Erik suggested another location that ended up working out far better. And the photos! We hate stuffy posed photos, and much prefer candids, and Marissa & Erik made sure we had so many incredible candids - including several shots of our parents laughing and smiling together, which meant a lot to us. We are thrilled with Ciccarelli Photography.

From the very beginning they were extremely friendly, accessible, and prompt. They were super quick to answer any questions we had. They worked with us to get a good day and time for our engagement session, and they were just unreal on our wedding day. There’s tons of photographers out there that can take a good photo. And the Ciccarelli’s are up there with the best of them. But what we also wanted was a connection. Someone who we could talk to and not feel like it was awkward to carry on a conversation. It’s just effortless with Erik and Marissa. They’re fun. They’re warm. They have a gift for making everything feel comfortable and no photo seems staged or forced. During the photo sessions, they were our biggest fans haha. They got excited about the photos they were taking. They made us feel like they truly wanted to be there with us. And that’s what we appreciated most. Our wedding day was so smooth and it was in large part to Erik and Marissa. They made sure we stayed on time. They directed the wedding party and family like a breeze. We had a transportation service taking the wedding party to and from photo locations and Erik just jumped in and took the lead on communicating with the driver on where we needed to go and how long we needed to be there. At the venue, even though they had never shot there before, you would have thought they owned the place. They had a detailed plan for the whole day and really made my wife and I feel like it was completely under control. The reception was no different. Everything was so smooth and effortless. I have been to weddings before where the photographers actually got in the way on certain occasions, bumping into people on the dancefloor, etc. Not Erik and Marissa. Most of the night, I didn’t even realize they were there, except when they would come up to us during down time to make sure we were okay and to remind us of upcoming moments in the night. My wife told me later that Marissa went above and beyond what she had expected and pretty much acted as another bridesmaid, making sure everything was going smoothly and even getting her refreshments to make sure she stayed hydrated. I could go on and on. We had a lot of options. Too many options. But we are so very happy that we found the Ciccarelli’s. Not only for their amazing photography. But because they are personable, warm-hearted people. Thank you guys so much!

Rest assured that if it is your wedding day, and due to slightly bad planning by the groom (COUGH-myself-COUGH), your ride to the ceremony does not show up, they will graciously offer to give you a ride. Our photos turned out so great that it brings joy to my heart. Especially considering that my wife and I are an interracial couple, which I've heard are notoriously difficult to photograph. So if you're also an interracial couple and you're tired of you and your partner looking like some combination of Taye Diggs and/or Casper the Friendly Ghost (see description below), you wont be disappointed! [Low lighting --> African-American person looks like Taye Diggs / Caucasian Person looks normal Plenty of lighting --> African-American looks normal / Caucasian person looks like Casper the Friendly Ghost] A bit of backstory: I'm so frugal (my wife would use the word “cheap”) that while traveling for work, I will regularly sleep in a vehicle so that I don't have to pay for a hotel. AND STILL, I would have paid double whatever these two were asking! Do yourself a favor. Hire Ciccarelli Photography for your wedding. Hire them for your engagement photos. Then do ME a favor. Marissa and Erik were so kind and easygoing, yet they were very professional and able to direct us to figure out the style and other details that we wanted. Fast forward to our wedding day, Marissa and Erik did such an amazing job in capturing all the magical moments. We had our first look and a photo session after that. Erik and Marissa, we couldn't help but like them right away. We just clicked. We knew that we liked their work but after meeting them in person, we could tell that they would be comfortable and fun to work with. Not only that but Erik and Marissa kept in touch throughout the wedding planning process to make sure that nothing was missed. They are so helpful and flexible every step of the way. And they definitely exceeded our expectations when it came to the wedding day! We did an engagement shoot at the Freeway Park and our wedding took place at the Fremont Foundry. Being the professionals that they are, Erik and Marissa scoped out the both areas beforehand to find good picture spots. On the day of the wedding, they were so organized. Erik and Marissa were on top of things and really helped keep us on schedule. Not only that but they were really flexible to accommodate impromptu photo sessions with each table. Anyone who's been around my extended family knows how hectic family photos can be. However they handled it flawlessly! And the work...AMAZING! They are incredibly talented and were able to capture our love in such a beautiful way. We had so many people gush over the photos that we ended up including prints of each guest for their thank you cards. It felt like we were just hanging out with friends instead of our photographers. . We absolutely loved their photos! When they sent us the link to the photo gallery, we were blown away. Marissa and Erik made us feel so comfortable and relaxed during the photo shoots, and we feel this really came through in the photos. They captured wonderfully candid, intimate moments, and poses never looked awkward or stiff. They knew how to make the most of outdoor settings as varied as Pike Place Market and Edward Myrtle Beach, and the photographs of the wedding at the Edgewater Hotel turned out beautifully. This was especially impressive given that the backdrop is floor-to-ceiling glass windows that face the setting sun, which makes for challenging lighting! Our wedding was a fusion of Indian and western customs and traditions, and Marissa and Erik did a fantastic job capturing all the big moments and little details of the ceremony and reception. Marissa and Erik are amazingly professional - they always kept us in the loop during the planning process and responded promptly when we emailed them with questions. On our wedding day, we knew exactly what the plan was and they were totally flexible and accomodating to any changes or inevitable bumps along the way, they just kept things moving along so smoothly! On the morning of the wedding, Erik and Marissa worked separately to capture photos of the groomsmen and bridal party getting ready, and when we reconvened at the Edgewater Hotel, they put in what must have been a superhuman effort to corral the various groups together for photographs and keep us on schedule. We enjoyed working with Marissa and Erik so much that we were bummed when they left at the end of night! We can't recommend them highly enough, and we look forward to working with them in the future to capture more special moments in our life together!

work with. My husband and I are not the most comfortable being the center of attention, and the Ciccarellis made us feel at ease, and we even had fun taking our pics. This may sound bad, but I really hadn't put much thought into the ceremony pictures before hand, and I mostly chose them because I liked the more candid style for the traditional wedding family photos. However I wound up completely loving the ceremony pictures in addition to our group photos. Working as a team, they were completely unobtrusive during the ceremony, and they captured the coolest photos of our family and friends watching and reacting to the ceremony and of us actually getting married! They also captured some fun reaction photos of our guests during the reception listening to toasts and interacting with each other, which I will treasure. Marissa was so detail oriented but easy to work with from our first conversation, to our engagement shoot to planning our timeline and being there on the wedding day. My husband and I planned the wedding ourselves, and Marissa went above and beyond by offering her expertise and input when I was stressing over our timeline details in the weeks before the wedding. Marissa also tactfully and skillfully herded our large families (not an easy feat) and was flexible when one important family member was late for photos. In addition to taking great pictures, they are a funny, down to earth couple, and it was actually fun to have them around on the day. I whole heartedly recommend them!

It was really nice having a team of 2, so that we got a mix of different perspectives and were able to capture multiple moments that were happening at the same time. They were so fun and supportive, easy to work with, and turned around our photos in less than a month after the wedding. And, they take great pictures.

They were able to enjoy themselves (which was important to me) and also capture all the photos that I wanted. They were flexible and took photo requests of ours throughout the night. They were in the right places in the right time for candid photos and surprised me with some wonderful pictures that I didn't expect them to take. They captured our night wonderfully. We really were able to relive the magical night again and again looking through the photos. We got loads of really spectacular photos. They were fantastic. I'm sure I'll never get married again but if I was going to the photographers would be an easy choice!

I was having photographers we were comfortable with who could make us smile and let us have fun on our wedding day. It was never awkward with them. We had established a must have photo list prior to the big day, and they were very on top of it with making sure we got all of the photos that we wanted. We had anticipated having all of our photos taken indoor due to our wedding being in January in Seattle, but it happened to be an absolutely beautiful and sunny day, so we were able to adjust our ideas and take amazing photos outside. The husband and wife match up is perfect, because Erik spent time with my husband while him and his groomsman were getting ready and Marissa was with me and my bridesmaids. They have been giving us a few sneak peeks already and the photos look absolutely beautiful. We can't wait to get all of the photos back and the photobook that is included with our package. If you look at their website and are thinking the photos they post are only "the good ones," you'll be wrong. We had our engagement session, and wedding shot with these two. In addition, my wife got a bridal session with them as well. EVERY photo they took (close to a thousand, by the way) were incredible! All our photos look like they belong on their website! Erik and Marissa capture every moment perfectly, most likely because they've been in those moments themselves! They were such a fun couple to work with and immediately had us at ease (both of us feel weird when having people take pictures of us, let alone people we hardly knew!). We have so many wonderful memories documented for us to keep for the rest of our lives. From the moment of our first contact they were gracious and professional. You can tell immediately that the love what they do. We had a blast with them at our engagement session and at our wedding and were blown away at the quality of the photos. I loved all of them.
