Situated on four acres, stands the elegant Cielo at Castle Pines, in Castle Rock, Colorado.  Located just minutes away from Denver and Colorado Springs.  Cielo offers couples a peaceful, mountain-like setting surrounded by pines, a beautifully landscaped patio, gazebo, and a majestic water feature to exchange vows year-round.  Entering through the large sliding glass doors, you will find the main dining room which can be arranged to suit your wishes – with a beautiful fireplace and grand staircase. Cielo can comfortably sit up to 300 guests.   Cielo has thought of everything.  Two spacious dressing suites is a perfect place to get ready and take those memorable pre-ceremony photos.  Cielo does not offer packages, as we feel no two occasions should ever be the same. We will, however, be happy to help you make your special choices.  We are committed to excellence; therefore the use of one of our Exclusive Caterers and Party Rental Companies is required.  From buffet to plated, light hors d'oeuvres to a lavish dinner, the caterers will be happy to serve you! Cielo's flexible beverage packages can accommodate any budget. Open bars, hosted Bars, and cash bars are available with many other beverage options to make your event extra special.  Cielo is happy to provide you with friendly, knowledgeable bartenders to serve you and your guests. We used the outside area for ceremony and cocktail hour, and the water and fire features complimented the garden atmosphere. e staff they had present during our wedding was wonderful--Todd was so great and made sure my parents knew he was their point person if they needed anything. Their "preferred vendors" were all wonderful. The only downfall was that since our wedding was in the winter and inside, they required that we have our cocktail hour in their basement, which was fine, but they charged a ridiculous amount for something they required.

The venue offered hundreds of unique photo backdrops, including a waterfall, fire pit, stone pillars, large curved staircase, elevator, rustic gates & doors, 2nd floor balcony, etc. Our guests loved the venue and also thought it was a gorgeous location. We were very happy with Cielo and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful wedding location. However, I will forewarn future brides considering this location to get a full understanding of the price before signing the contract. At first glance, this venue appeared to cost about $6,300. But after all was said and done, we paid about $8,400.

After booking Cielo, I did get realize a few things. You have to purchase your beverages through them, which non-alcholic beverages were an added 700 plus two bartender fees. We had to ask permission for certain decor. We couldn't use real flower petals inside...ect. I didn't feel I had the freedom to really transform the venue into my own. The staff seemed a bit condescending to my fiance and I. It is a family run venue in a very wealthy neighborhood, I'm not sure why I expected anything less.
So if you have the money and you love this venue enough to use it "as is" then I recommend it. Be sure to look at their preferred caterer list first however because they charge you a kitchen fee if you decide to use someone else.

ffer. There were a few down sides, no outside liquor, which I didn't think would be that big of a deal until right before. It was a bummer having to quickly down champagne prior to leaving the hotel due to it not being allowed in the venue. You also have to use one of their preferred caterers. Also didn't think would be a problem, however, their approved caterers are not the cheapest, nor are they the easiest to work with. And finally, if you choose to add on the beverage package for your guests to have unlimited soda, tea and coffee, make sure you ask how they are going to inform guests that this is available. We included this in our package only to discover half way through lunch that no one was informed and that we paid $900 for 10 guests to have one drink. I've been to other weddings where drinks a poured and left on the bar for people to just go and grab. That's a MUCH better system then the one that was in place for our wedding. That was one of the biggest annoyances. Other then that it was a FANTASTIC venue!! And I highly recommend having the ceremony inside in front of the fireplace. Very romantic. We worked with Stacy for just about everything regarding the venue and she is WONDERFUL!!!
Cielo is simply a gorgeous venue. It services one event at a time, so you are their #1 priority and it is easily navigated by guests. It is really pricy, and you may not bring outside liquor.
