One star because the owner tried to ruin my wedding. I didn’t get married at Celio Farms. I got married at a wedding venue just below Celio Farms in September 2021. The owner of this venue flew a drone over my wedding as we were getting set up and called the police on my wedding before 9pm for loud music. This is unacceptable. We were well within the legal noise limits of the area. This owner is truly terrible. Sure get married here, but what wedding venue owner tries to spy on and ruin someone else’s wedding. Unprofessional, unacceptable.

I gave 3 stars because the venue is beautiful but when touring we were treated like an after thought and not worth their time. Our tour guide wouldn’t even have showed us the whole venue if we hadn’t had asked. If a couple is going to drive several hours to tour your venue and consider paying a large sum of money for it, please also value our time or at least act like you want our business.

Cielo Farms is officially our happy place. From the moment we stepped foot on the property, we knew it was our venue. It feels as though, for a moment, you are not in Malibu, but tucked away in a little idyllic bubble of Tuscany. The property is stunning and the people were wonderful to work with! Shout out to Stephanie for being so lovely and helpful throughout the planning process. Our wedding day could not have been better! The Cielo in-house wine selections were all fantastic. The view from this place is unparalleled- your pictures will be incredible. Several Malibu wedding venues sit below the hill and cost the same, if not more, and they don't get the sweeping mountain view that you get at Cielo. I'm a fan girl, can you tell? A few things to be mindful of for budgeting: - Cielo does not have a built in kitchen on site, so you will have to order rentals for the catering company - They use an exclusive catering company, Tres LA, but not to worry because it's the best wedding food you'll ever have -There is currently not a grooms suite, so the guys (or girls) will have to get ready offsite if you're trying to stay separate

My husband and I recently got married at Cielo Farms. After searching venues all across Southern California, we stumbled across this gem and instantly knew this would be where we got married. There is really no other place like Cielo, with the tuscan barn tucked away in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains. Even after the Woolsey fire, the are bounced back within months and the hills look like Ireland! Our out of town guests were amazed by the beauty of the location. The only downside to the venue is that it not handicap accessible.

After searching 50+ venues in several states and even different countries, we ended up choosing Cielo Farms for our recent wedding. It was absolutely incredible. After the fires last december, everything around the venue was extremely green. The grounds themselves were pristine and it was so incredibly beautiful. All of our guests loved the outdoor space and the interior of the barn, and if we had to do it all over again, we absolutely would choose Cielo again in a heartbeat.

We feel so incredibly lucky to have been able to have our wedding at the gorgeous Cielo Farms. It’s the perfect venue for a rustic but elegant wedding, and the only useable barn for weddings that we could find in the area. It’s stunning, a place that feels like a private slice of heaven. At once intimate as well as expansive. Our guests from abroad felt like they came to a perfect jewel of a location - a tuscan vineyard barn on the side of a hill overlooking the malibu valleys, and our local LA friends commented that although they know the area so well, they had never been to anyplace like this. For weddings, they have a sound system already in place, and a team of vendors that work so well together they’re just doing you a huge favor introducing you to them. Also, and this was huge for us, the site reps Shawna and Sheena are an absolute joy to work with. Understanding, patient, and knowledgeable, they were probably our biggest help through the entire wedding process (and when have you heard THAT to be the case - seriously, those two made the whole process work so smoothly.) They made the place feel like family. We’re absolutely joining the wine club now and can’t wait to be there again. We highly recommend the venue, and their team to anyone who wants a perfect wedding day.
