Wes and Jill were lovely to work with. They were beyond flexible with the specific needs of our wedding and we were so impressed with the way they facilitated everything seamlessly...
! From moving chairs to steam-ironing tablecloths and beautiful hand-drawn chalk art that was personalized to our wedding, Wes and Jill ensured that everything was taken care of. Additionally, there were strong winds on our wedding day, resulting in a neighborhood-wide power outage in the middle of our ceremony. During cocktail hour, Wes and Jill lit every candle they could find, manually ensured the bathrooms were functioning, and were hauling in a generator right as the power magically came back on! They truly went above and beyond and, most importantly, made sure that we as a couple were not stressed and assured us that it was being handled.
Aside from the wonderful staff, the venue itself is a true gem! Getting married in March, we were worried that no venue would have greenery for our early-spring wedding. However, the bamboo provided us with the perfect backdrop! The rooms are beautifully decorated and the manor has various styles of chairs and other decor to choose from. We definitely saved hundreds in decorations due to the manor having so much charm and general decor to use! My husband especially loved the spacious grooms suite that included the entire basement, stocked with games and comfy seating. A gem of a location, especially for a smaller wedding!
Thank you, Wes and Jill!
This was our dream venue! Beautiful inside and out, unique, spacious, well-maintained and decorated. Perfect! Wes and Jill were incredibly accommodating every step of the way, hel...
pful, thoughtful, and flexible. We couldn’t be happier and definitely recommend Cimiez Manor.
Let me tell you about Cimiez Manor and its owners, Jill and Wes Dunn. Let me start with the venue. The house is perfect for an indoor/ outdoor ceremony and reception. It's so beaut...
iful that you don't even need to decorate it that much except for some flowers to make it look even prettier. There are separate suites for the bride and groom to get ready, which was very important to us as we did not want to drive around too much on our wedding day. Our guests absolutely loved the house and everyone said the atmosphere there was almost fairytale like, especially when the sun set and we all got to enjoy the outdoor lights and the fire pit by the newly renovated patio.
The owners of Cimiez Manor, Jill and Wes Dunn, are extremely accommodating, professional and organized. They are awesome coordinators and communicators. Everything went smoothly on our wedding day thanks to their hard work and professionalism. Not only did they help us decorate the house and set everything up for us prior to the wedding, but they also treated us as if we were part of their family for a day. They allowed us to visit the venue before the wedding whenever we needed it, drop off whatever we needed for the wedding ahead of time and show up at whatever time we needed to on our wedding day with no extra cost. Throughout the ceremony and the reception, both Wes and Jill helped us immensely, especially me, being there without my parents or close family due to the pandemic. They are extremely hardworking, warm, welcoming and wonderful people. They both went above and beyond to make our day extra special. I don't think I have enough words to express how grateful I am for their help and support during not only the wedding day itself but throughout this very stressful process leading up to it. If you are thinking about Cimiez Manor as your wedding venue, just go ahead and book them. You will not regret it!
I booked with Cimez Manor in April 2020 for January 2021. Now I understand the pandemic is happening, but I found the way they weren’t transparent with me to be really off-putting,...
and want to share. We paid half to set the deposit, and the other half September 2020. We had delayed communication after we booked; a week for an email or more. We asked to have a walk through in early October and was meet with a short email saying “we’re not comfortable holding your ceremony; move your date or take a refund”. There wasn’t a phone call, or a conversation to see what options we had. Just that. We have other vendors with deposits already paid and already moved our plans once due to pandemic. We paid in full 3 weeks before asking for the walk through and now they don’t want to hold our event? I’m giving them two stars because they did send our check back; I had to ask twice though. It was a headache and we lost money; that’s my experience.
Jill and Wes Dunn could not have made my daughters day more beautiful!! The venue is beautiful. The owners are gracious, thoughtful and very organized. Our wedding was on the pa...
tio Oct 17, 2020. The weather was perfect during the ceremony but once the sun went down is was quite chilly. Wes had a fire pit near by for guests to warm up as well as fires in his grand fireplace inside. Every effort was made to keep the guests safe during this pandemic. We highly recommend Cimiez Manor for your next celebration!
Classic, elegant, memorable! The owners are excellent and timely communicators, and they worked hard to assist us in making our daughter's wedding all she had envisioned! They were...
wonderful listeners and were flexible and kind. They made planning the wedding from across the nation possible! Highly recommend!
If you book Cimiez for your wedding, you will not regret it. From day one, Wes and Jill listened to our vision and worked tirelessly to make our special day a dream come true. They...
worked with us in drafting up the contract which made us feel very involved in the process. They treated us with the utmost professionalism and were always very quick to respond to our emails/phone calls/requests. On the day of, Jill made sure that my needs were met and ran interference for both the photographer and caterer. Throughout our wedding day, our guests described the venue as “perfect” and “intimate.” It was the perfect location for our 100-person wedding and we couldn’t have been more pleased with Wes, Jill, and the venue itself. Please don’t hesitate to go visit!!
