Cimiez Manor

Let me tell you about Cimiez Manor and its owners, Jill and Wes Dunn. Let me start with the venue. The house is perfect for an indoor/ outdoor ceremony and reception. It's so beautiful that you don't even need to decorate it that much except for some flowers to make it look even prettier. There are separate suites for the bride and groom to get ready, which was very important to us as we did not want to drive around too much on our wedding day. Our guests absolutely loved the house and everyone said the atmosphere there was almost fairytale like, especially when the sun set and we all got to enjoy the outdoor lights and the fire pit by the newly renovated patio. The owners of Cimiez Manor, Jill and Wes Dunn, are extremely accommodating, professional and organized. They are awesome coordinators and communicators. Everything went smoothly on our wedding day thanks to their hard work and professionalism. Not only did they help us decorate the house and set everything up for us prior to the wedding, but they also treated us as if we were part of their family for a day. They allowed us to visit the venue before the wedding whenever we needed it, drop off whatever we needed for the wedding ahead of time and show up at whatever time we needed to on our wedding day with no extra cost. Throughout the ceremony and the reception, both Wes and Jill helped us immensely, especially me, being there without my parents or close family due to the pandemic. They are extremely hardworking, warm, welcoming and wonderful people. They both went above and beyond to make our day extra special. I don't think I have enough words to express how grateful I am for their help and support during not only the wedding day itself but throughout this very stressful process leading up to it. If you are thinking about Cimiez Manor as your wedding venue, just go ahead and book them. You will not regret it!

I booked with Cimez Manor in April 2020 for January 2021. Now I understand the pandemic is happening, but I found the way they weren’t transparent with me to be really off-putting, and want to share. We paid half to set the deposit, and the other half September 2020. We had delayed communication after we booked; a week for an email or more. We asked to have a walk through in early October and was meet with a short email saying “we’re not comfortable holding your ceremony; move your date or take a refund”. There wasn’t a phone call, or a conversation to see what options we had. Just that. We have other vendors with deposits already paid and already moved our plans once due to pandemic. We paid in full 3 weeks before asking for the walk through and now they don’t want to hold our event? I’m giving them two stars because they did send our check back; I had to ask twice though. It was a headache and we lost money; that’s my experience.

Jill and Wes Dunn could not have made my daughters day more beautiful!! The venue is beautiful. The owners are gracious, thoughtful and very organized. Our wedding was on the patio Oct 17, 2020. The weather was perfect during the ceremony but once the sun went down is was quite chilly. Wes had a fire pit near by for guests to warm up as well as fires in his grand fireplace inside. Every effort was made to keep the guests safe during this pandemic. We highly recommend Cimiez Manor for your next celebration!

Classic, elegant, memorable! The owners are excellent and timely communicators, and they worked hard to assist us in making our daughter's wedding all she had envisioned! They were wonderful listeners and were flexible and kind. They made planning the wedding from across the nation possible! Highly recommend!
