Cinderella's Event Services

mmended to us by our venue, the Meeting House Grand Ballroom, my hair stylist Kara who used him for her wedding, and our wedding planner Adell Wymer with Everlasting Engagements. We paid for Josh to do our wedding because of how professional he sounded on the phone and for how he markets his truly amazing ability to “read the room” to keep the dance floor packed all night. Anybody can say they have this ability, but I’ve been to weddings where the DJ isn’t good.. Josh actually does exactly as he says he is going to do. He kept that dance floor packed the entire night!! We actually called him the next day to sing his praises and give him one hell of a tip!! My husband does. not. dance. He was out on the dance floor the entire night with me!! We didn’t even want to come off the dance floor for drinks or the photobooth, but I knew we had to come off at least once or twice for it!! My neighbors whom I haven’t spoken to in years—our age, who don’t dance..DANCED the entire night. We have friends we didn’t know had dance moves like that!! Josh has the ability to pull out everyone’s alter ego and make your wedding night truly the best night of your life. GET THE UPLIGHTS HE RECOMMENDS. We originally were only going to do 16 to save money. Josh convinced us to do 32, he is a good salesman.. But he WAS RIGHT!!! I trust his expertise entirely and so should you!! GET THE LIGHT UP GLASSES AND FOAM GLOW STICKS!! Our wedding was the best party I’ve ever been to. We had grandparents dancing all night!! If you want to read the review of the person happiest for getting Josh as our DJ, you’ve come to the right review. And if you’ve read this entire thing, what are you waiting for? Just book him already! We love you Josh!! <3 The Nordstroms

ith timing. His organization and professionalism allowed the whole day to flow exactly how it should, which took so much stress off of us. Josh is incredibly kind, easy to work with, and very attentive to detail. The music was fantastic—our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much fun they had on the dance floor. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and would recommend him to anyone looking for someone who is both reliable and amazing at what he does!

elped things go smoothly! The coordinating and picking songs was a breeze. I had multiple people mentioned that they kept thinking about leaving the dance floor to get late night snacks or drinks but he just kept playing great songs! I highly recommend them to anyone getting married soon!

super communicative and accommodating to our requests and timeline changes. He gave us recommendations to make sure our ceremony and reception flowed well. Our photobooth was a huge hit and our photo album we got from it is something well keep forever! We highly recommend working with Cinderella if you're getting married in Michigan!

ur first phone call he was professional and personable, attentive and kind. He triple checked all of my details and made sure that everything was going to run smoothly for my big day. The day of, he showed up early ready to work - he had everything set up and ready to go with plenty of time and was extremely organized and on top of every part of his job. I could not recommend Cinderella DJ's or Josh more, I would hire them over and over again!!

process and we were extremely stress free thanks to the planning and call we had with him the week before our wedding! From the ceremony music to the cocktail hour music to our reception he made the entire wedding a fun atmosphere and our guests danced the night away! We highly recommend hiring Cinderella’s Wedding DJ for your event!! You are definitely in good hands! Thanks a ton! - Sarah and Cooper!

s approached by many guests telling me how wonderful he was as a DJ. Thanks so much Josh for making our wedding reception so fun and full of all the laughs and dance moves that I will always remember and cherish.

gave his input without overstepping boundaries. He made it very easy to select the music to match the atmosphere we wanted for the day. The consultation call was easy and Josh is super friendly. He listened to what we wanted for the day and made sure our wishes were upheld. During the wedding, Josh and his team were absolute professionals. He ensured our timeline was seamless and constantly checked with us to ensure we were on board with any changes that were suggested. We and our guests thoroughly enjoyed his impeccable selection of music for the evening. We could not recommend Josh and his team enough! Thank you for helping bring our vision to life!

selections. I cannot express enough how incredible our DJ was. Keith brought the dance floor of my dreams to life! As a Pine Knob Mansion bride, I had concerns about the building’s layout and whether guests would come out to the patio to dance, but Keith had the floor packed all night. He masterfully balanced music for every age group-- from songs we used to dance to with our college friends to Italian classics for our older relatives. It was perfect! My friends and family are still raving about the dance floor!

s were amazing, and he had the best personality. Before the wedding, he was super easy to communicate with and was very professional and made us feel at ease for the big day. He was a great MC announcer on the big day, and made sure to keep everyone on schedule. When we wanted to end the music a bit earlier than expected, he was quick to accommodate our request and kept everyone dancing all night! HIGHLY recommend, we couldn't believe how smoothly the wedding went with Cinderella and we could just lean back and enjoy our wedding day without any worry!

ng and was on a dance team in college, so we were happy when we found a vendor who could meet our wishes and was within our budget. We appreciated Josh's open communication, coming to us with a solution before we even knew a problem arose. Thinking back on that call, my heart was beating so fast with worry, but Josh had everything handled which is exactly what you want in a vendor for your big day. DJ Kyle was also lovely, supporting our creative decisions and making sure the night went smoothly. He held steadfast in our "do not play" list and found songs to play I didn't even think about adding to our playlist. The Wedding Planner App is mostly helpful, though I accidentally submitted our song survey by hitting enter and had to redo it over. All in all, I highly recommend this vendor!

ing! Josh especially took the time to help us plan, talk through wedding stressors and logistics, and worked really hard to provide the best of services. 12/10 would recommend to a friend!!!

he made the planning feel so easy. He was always so willing to accommodate any request we had for him from mics, speakers, speeches, music, etc. He was a dream come true. Josh will tell you he knows how to read a room and keep the energy up. He backs this up. We gave him our dances, and 5 song must plays... and you would have though he had seen every single one of our playlists and played our Spotify top 50s. He also has such an amazing set up that adds an amazing style to the wedding I could have never expected to have at our wedding. I would recommend him to anyone, for anything. Please call Josh for your wedding, you are in great hands!!!!

venue because we weren’t there to answer questions. HE EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!! I can’t say this enough. I had so many compliments on our DJ. He took all requests, and kept a great flow going. I don’t think there was a time the dance floor was empty, even if it was just kids. Take Josh’s advice when you do your final walk through, he knows what he is talking about. I myself have worked for a wedding venue for close to 20 years, so I have seen my fair share of DJs, and he is one the best I have seen.

e spent HOURS on the phone with me planning and executing my dream music landscape for my special day. He also assisted in surprising my now husband with a pre-recorded love song I sang to him on our wedding day. Not only was he wonderful during the planning period, but he also ROCKED the day of. He was the greatest MC for our ceremony and reception, straddling the fine line between the life of the party and the man in charge. He had the dance floor PACKED with the greatest hits, and he also played every requested song we had while ensuring we were in a position to enjoy them. He was flexible and went with the flow of dinner service, even when that put the scheduled agenda off-kilter. He prioritized the experience of the guests over a strict timeline. Finally, he encouraged us to take over the DJ booth for a couple of cute snapshots. If you book with Josh, I promise that you will have a true fairytale experience. Just don't lose your shoe at midnight!

recommend him for your wedding! We also booked the photoboth and uplighting with Cinderella's Event Services and both were fantastic! The guest book you get with the photobooth is a great memory keepsake and we loved looking through everyone's pictures :)

on and interaction. He made our special day so perfect from the music to the uplighting to the intros, everything he had a hand in went so flawlessly! If you are considering hiring Cinderella’s events, do it!!! You will not regret it!!! Thank you Josh, we loved having you!!

r full with a great blend of songs, genres, and eras. His announcements kept everything flowing smoothly. Several of our guests also commented on how much they liked the music and his energy. His service was wonderful, and we wholeheartedly recommend Cinderella’s Event Services!

cho-y glass building but he made sure everything sounded perfect for the ceremony and reception. He kept everything on track and even went out of his way to help us find a copy of the song my husband and his mom danced to. Thank you so much Josh!!!

edding to sound like. We really enjoyed and appreciated the thought that went into his music choices and we really felt heard. I’ll be recommending to everyone I know! Thanks Josh!!!

s song selections were incredible and he is so accommodating to make sure the bride and groom get everything they wish for. I HIGHLY recommend and would pick him again and again if I did it all over! Thanks Cinderella Event Services and Josh for making our wedding so awesome!

recommend Cinderella’s Event Services!! The app was also super helpful when it came to planning :)

r venue and he took his time with figuring out exactly what we wanted, discussing details over the phone, all the way to meeting with us in person to review color schemes. One of our favorite vendors because he made everything so seamless! Thank you, thank you!

how wonderful he is to work with. Prior to the wedding he was so easy to talk with and discuss music options and responded incredibly fast to all of our questions. Day of, Josh was so so attentive and would double check all the details (name pronunciations, songs, etc) to ensure every detail was perfect. Everyone had an absolute BLAST and I received so many complements after. He truly made the day stress free, and we can't thank him enough for it. If you want your wedding done right, you need to book Josh and Cinderella's Event Services!!!

excited to do our reception as we were to have it. He guided me through the early parts of the night when I was most nervous, making sure I knew what was going to happen and how things were going to go and for that I am so grateful. We had all ages at our wedding and he got everyone dancing multiple times with great music. We definitely recommend Josh and Cinderella's!

hing

reception flowing smoothly, even though some unexpected hiccups made us have to delay starting it. He was easy to get along with right from the start, and he even stepped in to DJ our wedding himself when a different DJ who was assigned to our wedding left on short notice. The music was awesome, and he was able to get all of our requests played. Everyone had a great time on the dance floor! Two big thumbs up for Josh and Cinderella's Event Services!

Services made it so easy for us. I highly recommend them!

k the bank!

s playlists and meshing of songs were so great. He had people out on the dance floor ALL night! COVID had our wedding spread out at our venue, and Josh went to work right away with our venue figuring out how he could ensure there was sound throughout. Along with this, he had guests laughing and kept the night flowing so smoothly. He was so kind and patient and fulfilled all our wishes for music. I surprised my husband with a different song choice for when I walked down the aisle and Josh was on top of it and ensured it happened - secret intact! We cannot recommend him enough for your DJ-ing needs!!

the mirror package was not a problem. I can't thank Josh enough for helping us out. I even asked to add on a 'mother/daughter' dance the night before the wedding. As you can tell I'm very last minute. The DJ kept the party going, he asked for requests. If he didn't have a song he said he'd find it! The photo mirror attendant was awesome; extremely helpful. Our guests gave us complements on both the gentlemen.

nd loud, and his music and spinning song after song into each other is just plain flawlessssss to perfection!!!!! I would highly recommend him and trust me I am PICKY!!!! lol I have danced my whole life and wanted to make sure I could dance all night on the dance floor and love every second of it!!! He did just that and more!!!!! My husband and I will use him every chance we get and we pray you all do too!!! No need to look anywhere else when Josh is all you need for anyyyyy event!!!!!

dance floor was completely packed the entire night! We also used Cinderella’s photo booth, which our guests loved and added a fun touch!

m our phone conversation a week before the wedding to the actual day of; he was always kind, patient and professional. He kept the dance floor busy all night and made sure my husband and I were happy. Definitely 10/10!

my wedding (9/22/2018). He had referred us to NATE VALENTIN who we booked and couldn’t have been happier with! Nate is the real deal! He showed up early and set up all of his equipment and performed sound checks for the venue space to ensure the best quality. He is very professional, had a great friendly and outgoing demeanor, and was highly organized and on top of his tasks as well as coordinating well with the venue employees and the photographer. He truly knows how to take the stress out of your hands and handle announcements, grand entrances, speeches, and most importantly... keeping the dance floor packed!!! He made sure everyone in the wedding was in the right place at the right time and literally kept the party going consistently from the first song to the last! We received nothing but phenomenal feedback regarding Nate and his DJ skills and professionalism. I would recommend him to anyone for any event that requires a DJ. He played the perfect music that we wanted throughout all portions of our wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, entrance, dinner music, and DANCING!). We can only say great things about Nate! If you want a professional that really knows how to excel at his job and give you the best wedding experience... BOOK NATE VALENTIN!

early since he had not been to our venue previously. My entire family thought he was fabulous! My MIL wanted him to play a song that was on our "do not play" list and he specifically made sure to ask me if it was okay before he made his next move. I would recommend him time and time again to all of my friends and family!

oor was always occupied. Highly recommended!!

r crowd doesn't need much encouragement to dance, but there was not one time during the night that I looked at an empty dance floor... in fact it was rare that I could see any of the dance floor, so many people were dancing all night. From keeping the flow of the wedding going to choosing excellent music, Cinderella's Wedding DJs delivered beautifully.

re engaged. My sister and brother-in-law received numerous compliments on how great of a DJ they had, so when it came to us picking one, we only looked at a few options, and it was clear that Josh was the right choice. Josh offered up his knowledge/opinion on all things wedding: should we have a videographer, should we do the dollar dance/garter toss/different vendors/etc. That was a HUGE help b/c we had a lot of questions about what we should do, and he answered those very quickly, most of which did not pertain to music at all. When we decided to book with him, we knew we had made the right choice. Josh is very familiar with the venue we had chosen and even knew the staff by name, so he already knew the best to configure the speakers in the various rooms we had. He also explained that his soon-to-be-wife would most likely be there to help him gauge the overall feel of the guests and to make sure he was playing the right music to help ensure people got out on the dancefloor. Josh gave us a packet which included the necessary information on what songs we wanted played, songs we did not want played, the names/relationship of our wedding party, etc. When we had our pre-wedding phone call with him, we went through it all, giving us feedback and encouragement about our choices. One thing we also loved is that he does not take requests lightly from guests; if the song is kind of questionable, he will not play it without speaking to you first, which in our eyes, is fantastic b/c the last thing you want is a trashy song to come on when your grandparents are there. Josh showed up to the wedding early and gave himself plenty of time to set up, which was great b/c that helped reduce our stress knowing he was there and ready to go. Josh was basically our “day of” wedding coach/planner, telling us what will happen and when. He did an amazing job rounding everyone’s attention when needed and did a great job with song selection. Our guests were on the dancefloor all night getting after it, and that’s all b/c of Josh. If you are in the process of looking for a DJ, please take the time to check out Josh as we found him to be extraordinary! He is honest, attentive, thoughtful, caring and very reasonable!

p organize the night and you never would of known because of them! They are a great team and they made my wedding better than I could have ever imagined! The music was great and everyone had a blast. They are two of the nicest people I have ever met and they really care about what they do. We really appreciate everything they did for us. They went above and beyond. I would highly recommend them to anyone. You won't regret it :)

He kept us on track, he moved the night along seamlessly, and was overall great to work with. There was miscommunication in the dinner time with me and the venue and he took the initiative to fix it (which is above and beyond)! He also did a great job with managing requests and guests and always reached out to us (bride/groom) when he needed us or it was time to move the reception along (aka (cup)cake cutting, first dances, etc.). He was also the ONLY vendor in our wedding search that gave us a military discount. So we thank him especially for that. He's not only a fantastic DJ, but he gives back. YOU won't be disappointed, book him now!

rofessional adn prompt and know how to get teh party started and keep it going. Thanks so much guys!

ced the entire night, and the dance floor was usually full. Josh listened to what we wanted, and took it to a whole new level. He calmed my fears and made sure nothing bothered me that night. He was professional, fun, kind, had everything we requested, and everyone had an amazing time. We gave his name out several times that night, and I will continue to plug Josh and Cinderella's because it was an amazing experience!!!
