Cindie was wonderful from beginning to end! From our first Zoom meeting from across the country we knew we wouldn't have to look any further for an officiant. She took the time to understand us and what we were looking for and tailored a beautiful little ceremony that brought both of us to tears (in the best way possible). She has crafted a wonderful survey/questionnaire that each of us filled out separately for her to use in building an intimate and personal ceremony that captured our relationship honestly and fully. Cindie is a true professional who takes her job to heart!

We love Cindie! She was incredibly patient with us as we refined our ceremony script. She is very professional and experienced, while also making the wedding ceremony fun! She was prompt, organized, and thoughtful during our rehearsal and ceremony. Guests told us how much they loved the ceremony and how personal it was. Cindie is definitely well known in the Sacramento wedding scene, as our photographer, DJ, and videographer all knew her from past events. Cindie is wonderful. We come from different religions/faith backgrounds and we have even more variety in our family's and friends as well. So we wanted to find someone who could make the ceremony special but less religious. Cindie worked with us on incorporating bits and dashes into it ceremony that made this so personal and memorable. We had so many tears of joy during the ceremony, both from the guests and ourselves. She really gets to know you and bases the ceremony around you as a couple. I cannot say enough. Thank you Cindie!

Cindie was an amazing vendor to work with and was recommended by our planner. Since we didn't have a personal friend or family member officiating our wedding, we had some initial apprehension about finding a vendor who could make the ceremony personalized to us as a couple. We really appreciated Cindie's approach to gathering information about our story and the questionnaire she had us initially answer was very helpful in even the creation of our own vows. Cindie was very prompt in giving us a look at the first draft of the ceremony and we loved the direction she went! She followed all of our requests and we were very pleased with how the big day went. Cindie was also very helpful in the administrative side of our marriage license and was super communicative throughout the entire process of what to expect before and after the wedding. Cindie is the best! We are from Nebraska and eloped in Yosemite so we did not meet her in person until our ceremony. Somehow she was able to make our ceremony extremely personal and specific to us - which was exactly what we wanted. Her questionnaire for couples is very thorough and in depth, helping to make our ceremony very special to us. From the moment we first reached out, Cindie was a pleasure to work with, and she was possibly the only person within 250 miles willing to go on a 30-40 minute hike with us. However, her kindness, experience, and storytelling ability were the qualities that drew us most. Our cliffside ceremony was very intimate, and so we wanted our vows to be entirely unique to us. If you ever need an officiant for your elopement or wedding, Cindie is your go to person. As our party was traveling from the east coast, she made the entire process seamless for us. We had an initial intake phone call to make sure that each party was comfortable with each other. The process afterwards was pretty painless, each partner filled out an additional personal questionnaire in which Cindie created a beautiful story to share. For our ceremony, we wanted to be surprised and we could not have asked for anything better. Cindie was able to capture our journey to the elopement and brought many happy memories back for us. She was also very flexible during our last minute changes at Yosemite as we were from out of town and found a better location a day before the event. Cindie is absolutely incredible and we would recommend anyone and everyone to choose her to officiate their wedding! My husband and I started looking for an officiant during COVID as we were planning a small elopement in Yosemite in May 2021. Cindie was the first and only person we talked to. Why? Because as soon as we started talking with her and getting to know her, I looked at my then fiancé and whispered, she is the person! We connected instantly with her and her approach to creating a custom ceremony that was focused on us and our story. She is easy to talk to, incredible at her craft, and so responsive. Throughout the process, she was always available to answer any questions or talk through any thoughts we had. Once we filled out the questionnaires, she drafted a beautiful ceremony that made me cry the first time reading it through. She captured not only the essence of my husband and I as a couple, but told our love story in a beautiful and honest way. She was able to give our guests an insight into our relationship that not everyone sees. We got married on a Sunday and on the Friday before, we found out that the location we had a permit for in Yosemite was closed! In the mist of all the stress about finding a new location, we let Cindie know and she instantly replied and was ready to perform the ceremony anywhere. With the change in location, Cindie updated our ceremony to incorporate our new location! I remember during our ceremony, thinking she is wonderful! Seamlessly, making changes to our ceremony to reference the beauty of our new ceremony spot. After the ceremony, all of our guest commented on how beautiful and special the ceremony was and we owe it all to Cindie! Cindie wrote a beautiful, personalized Ceremony for us. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we wanted in our ceremony. She worked with us to find out details about us and used them in our own personalized ceremony. She was very responsive anytime I reached out with questions. We had very little idea of what we wanted for the ceremony when we started planning, but Cindie guided us through everything and crafted something perfect. I wasn't too excited about a ceremony originally, because I'm introverted, and the plan was to go to City Hall by ourselves before having a reception. But the plague happened, and all our plans were upended. So we decided to have an elopement with just an officiant and a photographer/witness. Cindie sent us a questionnaire to fill out beforehand, and she wrote us a very personalized ceremony that absolutely captured our relationship. She was helpful during that time, too, as somebody who had done so many weddings, and provided useful info, as well as a calming presence. I'm so happy we found her for such a meaningful moment.

Cindie was the perfect officiant for our elopement at Yosemite National Park. We clicked with her from the moment we met her (via Zoom), and we liked her energy so much that we decided to hire her for pre-marital coaching as well! This really gave us a chance to get to know Cindie, and vice versa, which made the ceremony feel that much more special, like an old friend was marrying us. Cindie really loves what she does. She has an open mind and a gentle spirit. We felt like she "got" us, and the ceremony she wrote for us was truly perfect. We are so grateful!

My wife and I were initially supposed to be married by one of her siblings back in April of 2020. Pandemics, as many of us have found, are not conducive to plans. Our wedding was delayed by six months and we, very late, decided that we would not be having family or friends at the wedding and would instead do the full elopement instead of the sort of elopement which meant that we would need to hire someone to officiate. When we started our search I came across Cindie's profile very early. I sent it to my wife and she liked what she saw. However, my wife is very thorough and we continued looking. After spending a number of hours navigating the pages of numerous possible officiants I kept on coming back to Cindie. My wife found herself doing the same thing. Cindie looked so inviting, and her website was thoughtful and when we kept coming back to it we found more and more that just clicked with what we were looking for. We finally contacted Cindie and, let me tell you, she is very patient because we were horribly inexpedient in responding to her emails. We set up a Zoom meeting and after just a few moments I was completely at ease and knew that Cindie would be the one marrying us. Cindie's energy was so positive and effusive. I immediately felt at ease as if I were speaking with someone I had known a lifetime. My wife obviously felt the same way because there wasn't even a conversation about bringing Cindie into our wedding day, it seemed like a long foregone conclusion. Cindie then sent us a questionnaire and it is extremely detailed. While was filling it out I at first was intimidated by its breadth and scope. By the end, though, I was enjoying the ability to relive some of the more touching moments of my wife's and my relationship, and reconnecting with some of my favorite memories. Within a couple days Cindie sent us back the draft of our ceremony and we immediately understood why her questionnaire asks the questions it did. We were both blown away by how personalized, detailed, and heartwarming the draft was. For at least the third time our choice to have Cindie marry us was reaffirmed. Cindie was in constant contact with us in the weeks and days leading up to the ceremony and finally, when the day came, Cindie battled some unexpected traffic delays on the long drive to Yosemite and still showed up just as we and our photographers were getting ready. The ceremony was absolutely perfect and the words that Cindie prepared were even better in person than us reading them at home. My wife and I both teared up at moments, and laughed at others. To have someone not only write something so tender and heartfelt, but also deliver it with such passion added such a beautiful touch to our day. After the ceremony we spent some time speaking with Cindie and our photographers before heading off for more photos. Cindie was so personable and warm we once more felt like we were chatting with a family friend who we had happened to bump into. Later that night, as my wife and I relaxed in our room at the lodge, we both on numerous occasions brought up how wonderful Cindie was, and how we absolutely knew we had made the right decision in asking her to be our celebrant. We cannot recommend Cindie enough and a 5 star review does not begin to encapsulate how wonderful our experience was. Even with COVID and wildfires raging Cindie made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and loved.

I highly recommend Cindie. My wife and I had her marry us on the shore of Lake Tahoe. It was a simple, COVID-era wedding with only 4 other people attending and many of the details were improvised as we went along. Cindie was accommodating and flexible. She wrote a great reading with details of our relationship leading up to the marriage, as well as some very nice inspirational sections that resonated well with our personal beliefs. She made herself available for online discussion prior to the ceremony, communicated well and was reasonably priced. Again, I highly recommend her, especially if you are planning a ceremony in nature.

Cindie was recommended to us by our photographer and we are very happy we went with the suggestion! She wrote a special ceremony for us that conveyed our story perfectly. We got married while the recent wildfires were sweeping through California. As the date grew closer we were worried that Yosemite would be closed or too hazardous for the ceremony. Cindie was accommodating and resourceful and helped give us updates about the park and it’s condition. We highly recommend Cindie!

The search for the perfect officiant seemed to be very much like speed dating.. Extremely uncomfortable! That is.. until we met Cindie. She put us at ease immediately. The first time we met, we instantly clicked during the consultation. We wanted our officiant to feel like an old friend that we could just chat with and someone who was authentically interested to learn little details of our relationship and what we envisioned for our ceremony. She helped guide us through the process, sent regular check-ins, and made some great suggestions whenever we were unsure of anything. She put together an amazing opening and weaved an elegant story that was tailored for our audience. Lastly we definitely appreciate her patience with us as a couple that was impacted by COVID closures and as we navigated the uncharted waters of multiple postponements. She was there for us with incredible patience and flexibility. We had a small elopement ceremony and our guests were extremely complimentary of how Cindie conducted everything. I think like many weddings they typically see it performed by an outgoing friend who got the certificate online and is typically their first time officiating. If you want a professional officiant go with Cindie. You will not regret it.

It's hard to put into words how incredible Cindie was to work with. She married us in Yosemite National Park on August 7th and even through all the 2020 wedding challenges she remained so kind, calm, and thoughtful throughout the whole process! As a 2020 couple who's wedding has been affected by the pandemic, it's hard to put into words just how wonderfully kind, supportive and understanding Cindie has been. My fiancé & I live in the UK and had planned to have a small wedding in Yosemite National Park. From the very beginning Cindie was so lovely; full of professionalism and attentiveness. She is so knowledgeable which made the process of planning an overseas wedding so much easier on us. As soon as we finished our first Skype call we knew we had found the person we would love and trust to marry us! Then Covid happened and it quickly became apparent that we would not be able to travel to the US, let alone have our wedding. Cindie was so patient while we desperately tried to wait it out in the hope things would get better. Her understanding of our situation alleviated so much of my stress and from the very outset, she made it clear she would support us no matter what. It really did feel like we were dealing with a friend, not just a professional wedding vendor. With much sadness we have had to cancel our wedding and Cindie has lived up to her words in every respect. She completely understood and supported our difficult decision and made it very easy for us to cancel her services. Obviously we never got to experience our wedding ceremony led by Cindie, but her manor and the past reviews from previous couples speak for themselves. I'm sure we would have loved every aspect of our wedding ceremony and we still can't imagine trusting anyone else to be our celebrant. If you are looking for an incredibly lovely person to help you marry the person you love, book Cindie! She is such a professional and such a calming presence. We had to postpone our big ceremony due to COVID-19, we had a small ceremony instead. Cindie was so helpful and kind along the way. She wrote a micro ceremony for us and was so extremely thoughtful with all the details she put into it. She is great at putting your thoughts and feelings into a beautiful ceremony. Her aura is easy going and from the first time we met her she felt like a long lost friend. My husband and I would recommend her to anyone. Honestly save yourselves the time and meet with Cindie first before anyone else. She was the first officiant I met with and we booked her then and there.

My husband and I cannot recommend Cindie enough. Before the wedding, she was a joy to plan with and very responsive to all of my questions. Our wedding took place in Yosemite over Thanksgiving weekend and there was recent snow and slick roads to contend with. She stayed in regular contact with me and made it out to the Valley with plenty of time to spare. We are so appreciative of the long journey she took to get to us during less than perfect weather. We are also super pleased with the service she created for us. It was tailored and unique to us and our story. When we reflect on our wedding day, having Cindie there as our celebrant makes the memory that much sweeter. She has become such a special addition to the story of our lives.

Cindie Wilding is everything my husband and I could have hoped for when it came to an officiant. When we started the process of planning our wedding we were really unsure when it came to the ceremony because neither of us are religious or practice any religion. When we came across Cindie we realized we could just tell our love story and Cindie did THE BEST at doing just that. Meeting her in person was like meeting someone I have known my whole life. She is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. She is so organized and communicates with her couples so quickly when we had many questions. She really took her time to get to know us and our story so she could make our ceremony unique to us. She also really took the time to understand the vibe and feeling we were trying to convey to our families and friends at the ceremony. When it came to the ceremony she really got our families laughing and feeling the love of our story. It is clear she takes her time to write a unique ceremony for each of her couples. Our ceremony reading was 100% unique to us. Not another couple could ever use it. I will forever remember our ceremony with Cindie because it was so personalized to us and so perfect!

The ceremony Cindie did for us was everything we hoped for and more. Intimate, engaging, warm, beautiful. Many guests commented on how refreshingly personal the ceremony was and how much they enjoyed the story she told about us. As one guest summed it up, "*That's* what a wedding ceremony should be like!!!!" We, ahem, only contacted Cindie one month before our wedding day. She took it in stride and, from the beginning, we felt both calmed and secure that we were in good hands. And throughout the next stressful month, she was gracious about not rushing us, while at the same time making sure we stayed on track. In every department, we can't speak highly enough about Cindie. And finally: Gotta say, we knew Cindie was "the one" as soon as we spoke with her, lol. That may sound funny but we feel it's worth mentioning here. Even though we only met with her once before the ceremony, it felt like she was somehow herself involved in this process and we suspect this is one thing Cindie can offer that may differentiate her from some other officiants. Our wedding day just wouldn't have been the same without her.

Cindie was exactly the person we were looking for to perform our ceremony at Yosemite. When we decided to elope, we knew we wanted something very personal and intimate and we had exactly that, as we stood in the meadow with El Capitan as our backdrop. Cindie has a great gift of turning simple questions/answers into a unique, personalized and beautifully written ceremony. She really made our day so special! It was great working with her throughout the entire process and would absolutely recommend!

She had us all laughing and crying. Cindie is a beautiful person. She helped us correctly fill out our licenses, made sure it was submitted and even sent us confirmation of when it was received by the county. She explained everything in detail and made the whole process so painless and made it easy for us to not worry and know that everything was being handled. We were looking for an officiant and came across Cindie's reviews. We reached out to her through yelp and she quickly responded. She asked if we could meet in person to see if we were a fit. We met and talked for an hour and we already knew that she would bring a calmness to the wedding could tell she was very thoughtful and kind. We completed the questionnaires individually and sent them to her. We then started our personalized vows. A couple of weeks later, she sent the ceremony for us to review. She did such a wonderful job telling our story (how we met, what brought us together, what we appreciated about each other and our plans for the future) that we felt we no longer needed personalized vows. On our wedding day as I walked down the aisle, I caught a glimpse of Cindie with my soon to be husband and immediately felt a calmness knowing she was there with us. We highly recommend Cindie.
