Cindy was pretty good! Very calm. Spent a lot of time before our wedding reviewing timeline. Asked about names of family members for photos. Day off, she did run our timeline late. She was there on time. We had set a timeline with extra buffer room. I was the bride and went over to meet her to put my dress on around 1215, the time we set. She was not ready. She wanted extra dress and veil on hanger pics fine, I trusted her the professional but it took another 15 minutes, I had very bad wedding nerves and then my dress took forever to put on (not her fault) but it ran our day late and we had to skip my first look with my brothers (fine), but she wanted to skip my first look with my dad (I said absolutely not, we will skip bridal party photos instead). We had a large bridal, but the area of the venue where we took our photos was not good lighting and we do not have 1 single good entire bridal party photo. My largest other complaint is we had very specific instructions for photos of decor. I spent hours perfecting and putting lots of thought into special bar signs, lyric signs, guest book and table signs. Cindy did ask about details but did not get enough photos day of. Not 1 photo of our reception table decor other than our sweetheart table. Odd angles of our guest book and seating cards. Not 1 photo of our bar signs!! I spent $200 on our bar signs and not 1 photo! The lady who made them, wanted photos and I had to tell her sorry, I have 0. Very upsetting. Cindy does spent lots of time getting the perfect photo. She does have a very creative eye and did work very hard for us. She did come up to me, the bride, and asked where her tip was at the end of the wedding, my brother was handing out the tips, I had 0 idea so I had to ask my brother in law to give her cash so it would not be awkward. If you want super creative, more posed photos that look like art work, Cindy is perfect. If you want more silly, unposed and fun photos, look elsewhere. She made it seem like she would do more candid than posed, but I would say she does more posed. She also does not do black and white photos even though she has a few on her timeline. We asked her for some, and she said you can select black and white when you print from the gallery, but send a few and I can edit to be black and white. At that point, we decided to just figure out how to filter ourselves. Again, very creative beautiful eye and she will work very hard to get the perfect lighting for your photos.

Cindy did such an amazing job with our wedding photos! She captured the day perfectly, it's so hard to choose some of my favorite photos. She made us feel comfortable and directed us with the best way to pose, she also made sure to get every important picture on the big day! Our venue was extremely crowded but she was able to find great spots for us. She communicated with us in a timely manner and helped put together a timeline for the day of and responded quickly to my messages! Highly recommended!!

Cindy and her team were wonderful to work with the whole way through. Up to the day of the wedding, I was a bit nervous knowing that much of the day would center around photos, since I’m not the most comfortable when I know there’s a camera (or multiple) on me. I’m not exaggerating when I say I felt completely at ease from the minute Cindy and her team started. Cindy has a calm and pleasant demeanor, and nothing felt rushed. I felt like I was taking the day in as we got photos. Months before the wedding, Cindy called to ask about our vision. She suggested that I revise the proposed wedding day timeline I mapped out so we wouldn’t have to rush for the most important photos, and let us know how much time was needed for each round of photos (getting ready, first look, bridal party, family, extended family, etc). She was excited to hear that I wanted first look pictures. When I’d Google searched first look examples, many of them involved one soon-to-be-spouse sneaking toward the other, thus focusing on one of their reactions more than the other. I told Cindy I wanted to turn around at the same time as my husband, and she not only accommodated this wish, but executed it well. I’m so happy I can treasure the moment frame by frame from each perspective. Cindy was also glad to hear that we wanted golden hour photos outdoors. On cue, we were snuck out during the dinner hour. Before she and the team packed up, we also got sparkler “send-off” photos at the gate of the venue. The team has the gadgets to ensure the best lighting, so if anyone’s hoping to get photos at sunset or after dark but is worried about them “turning out,” fear not. There are thousands of high-quality photos to choose from, and many from different angles of the same moments, so it was hard to pick our favorites. Believe me when I say the magical atmosphere is captured perfectly in every photo. We’re delighted with how many fantastic pictures there are of our family, bridal party, and friends, too. Everyone who has seen the photos is pleased. My husband and I can’t stop looking at them over and over-- it’s like we’re reliving that day!

We are so lucky that we found Cindy to do our wedding photos last October. We met her at a bridal show that was being held at our wedding venue about a year prior to the wedding- and she was so genuine and personable (on top of her pictures being so beautiful!!) Our wedding was June 8, 2019. It was a beautiful day; we couldn’t have asked for better weather. My husband and I decided to do first look before the ceremony so we could take some of our pictures before to get them out of the way! Cindy cares so much about capturing your day. She has such a big heart and you can truly tell that she loved what she does! We got our pictures about a month after the wedding, I believe this is an incredibly reasonable amount of time! Cindy was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish, and my husband and I are thrilled with the photos from both our engagement session and wedding. My husband basically hates having his picture taken. He was quite uncomfortable during the e-session but somehow Cindy managed to get an album’s worth of gorgeous shots where he looks at ease. He was also dreading the afternoon photo shoot the day of the wedding, but again, Cindy and her colleague Daniel (we had a deluxe package with 2 photographers) were great at putting him at ease. In fact, I was the nervous/emotional one that day so it’s a wonder Cindy captured some of me looking happy and relaxed. Cindy has an eye for natural lighting, and many photos are bathed in dreamy light. We received the images from our wedding within 2 weeks and can’t wait for the album. I’ll just reiterate how great Cindy is to work with….which as anyone planning a wedding knows, is not the case for everyone. Her packages suit a range of budgets and needs. Cindy is great! She goes above and beyond to capture those special moments and isn't fazed by any weather. Our wedding day was supposed to snow and she called to discuss different options for snow photos. The day of it was pouring rain. She didn't bat an eye (just look at some of her rain photos in her gallery if you don't believe me). Thankfully the sun came out right before our first look and she was able to capture some beautiful shots of the sun on our faces. If you want beautiful, natural looking photos of your wedding Cindy is the perfect fit.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Cindy DeSau. We absolutely love her! We first heard of her and witnessed her work through our wedding venue, Hollyhedge Estate. They had a lot of gorgeous photography around their office and one name kept popping up on our favorites: Cindy DeSau. We knew immediately we had to meet with her! We were already sold on her photography and her style but when we met her we instantly made a connection. It was obvious how passionate she is about what she does and how much she truly cares about each person she works with. We saw this passion come to life when she was describing a first look encounter she had photographed. Cindy was the one and only photographer we saw - we didn't need to look anywhere else. We booked a package that included engagement photos which we had done in May. I had a vision of capturing my husband and I as we truly are and in our favorite places. The issue was, one of our favorite places and the place where he proposed was Sea Isle City. So, Cindy did a shoot with us in Doylestown capturing our love of books at the bookshop and our love of movies with with the idea to arrange our names and wedding date on the marquee AND she agreed to drive all the way to Sea Isle in one day to make my vision come true! Those photos though, even though we are married now my husband and I STILL scroll through those photos semi regularly. Cindy not only captured us in our element but she just caught "us" who we are as individuals and a couple on camera for us to have forever. Naturally, this made us incredibly excited to work with her again during our wedding. We felt like we had already come to know Cindy and the work she puts forth but nothing could prepare us for how wonderful our wedding photos turned out to be. I just was married this month and my experience with Cindy was incredible. Having read Cindy's reviews, we have very high expectations-- and she FAR exceeded them with her professionalism, creativity, warmth and the stunning photos she and her assistant took. And as for wedding party photos, not only does she have the creativity and expertise to make suggestions on her own, she is incredibly patient to listen to exactly what you would like in your shots. When we got the photos back from her (in less than 3 weeks!) we couldn't believe how many great ones there were. Mainly because we didn't even realize she was there most of the time! She has a real talent for moving around to get multiple angles without you even realizing. At the end of the night the groom decided to sing with the band and Cindy practically laid down on the floor to get shots from below.... and they look AMAZING! Total worth the cost. Cindy was fabulous! We were married October 15th 2017 at Holly Hedge Estate and were lucky enough to have Cindy photograph our day. Cindy maintained great contact throughout the months leading up to the wedding and helped us to create a timeline that would maximize the photos she could take on the day of the wedding. The BIG DAY finally arrived…and it was raining. My daughter is pretty fearless…but no more fearless than Cindy! She kept to the schedule, checked and rechecked with us to make sure all of the photos we requested had been taken, and tirelessly dealt with the rain, getting soaking wet, to make sure her photos would create the memories of a lifetime. Cindy is amazing! I just got married this past Sunday at Holly Hedge Estates and Cindy was absolutely incredible to work with. When we chose Holly Hedge as our venue they recommended Cindy as their preferred photographer and after carefully considering several photographers, we were ultimately the most impressed by her portfolio, the vibrancy and professionalism of her photos and artistic aesthetic. We then booked an engagement shoot at Fonthill Castle which was one of her suggestions and went with a whimsical theme in rich tones to set the mood for what we envisioned for the wedding. The photos were so amazing that we chose one for the Save The Date and people were telling us constantly that they were the most beautiful ones they had ever seen and were totally blown away! At the wedding she was efficient and made sure to get all of the shots that we had requested, keeping everyone on time and coordinating between the venue and guests to ensure everything went smoothly. The photos that I have seen so far are absolutely magical!!! Cindy was selected from 6 other wedding photographers. This was my wedding gift for my niece's wedding. My niece liked the style of her photos and felt she captured candid and spontaneous moments as they happened. The couple's poses were natural with beautiful natural lighting even when she used a flash they were lighted so naturally. She also preserved details and moments most would not even notice and the Bride and Groom were not even aware of. Cindy was easy to work with, a good listener and a total professional.

Cindy was awesome! Creative, warm, thoughtful, and very communicative. She learned everyone's names beforehand. We generally don't love getting our photo taken, but Cindy was super respectful and conscientious of our wishes on the day of whenever we said we tired of posing. We felt super comfortable. Took tons of photos without being intrusive (didn't see her at all during the ceremony). Afterwards, she got our photos to us very quickly (less than 2 weeks!) and sent them to us both digitally and by CD. Always responded to our emails quickly. Thrilled with how our photos turned out. Can't recommend her enough!

Cindy was absolutely the BEST to work with! After finding out venue, I knew finding a photographer was my next priority and I did not want to skimp on who we used. We hired Cindy for our June 10th, 2017 wedding at HollyHedge Estate in New Hope, PA. She was highly recommended by their staff and she did not disappoint! She was easy to communicate, especially through email which is what I prefer. We booked Cindy so far in advanced, we planned a final meeting a few weeks before our big day and she put us as that everything would be great. On the day of, she was nothing but professional and we ended up with over 2,000 pictures from our special day! Our pictures are STUNNING and we are so happy we had Cindy there to capture our perfect day!

We got married at Reading Terminal Market in May of 2017, and thoroughly enjoyed working with Cindy. She was very easy to work with, and answered all our questions prior to the wedding. She also took extra care in finding out what types of photos we would want and what our vision was. Cindy was able to capture the things we asked her to, and the quality of photos we have is great! We also appreciated Cindy's flexibility with us, and her help planning out the schedule for photo taking. On the day of the wedding, we still had not decided how many hours we would want her to stay at the reception. She was flexible with that as well, and we played it by ear, which was very helpful. Even after we received the photos, she has been attentive and has made sure we are satisfied with everything. I would certainly recommend Cindy for any event!

We were married in July 2016 at Holly Hedge Estates in New Hope, PA. We selected Holly Hedge because of the beautiful photos we saw that were taken by Cindy. So we knew if we were going to have our wedding at Holly Hedge, we had to hire Cindy as our photographer! She was amazing. Cindy was professional and really made herself part of the process to wrangle our rather “unruly” family together to keep us all on time for the ceremony. I had a particular concern for the day, my father, she simply asked me, “What can I do to help”. This is not just a job for her, she is here to make capture your wedding as your best day ever, and that she did! We recently visited with family that were unable to make it to the wedding, and going through Cindy’s pictures brought our wedding day back as if it was just yesterday. Her professionalism and caring nature made her an exceptional part of our day. Cindy is also very well known in the Bucks County area and knows all the best times of day by season to capture the best shots.

Cindy was the best! We had our wedding at Holly Hedge on 6.24. She was recommended to us when we first started working with Holly Hedge.When we saw some of her photos in an album they had we knew instantly that we wanted Cindy as our wedding photographer. We had a jewish military wedding if that says anything They aren't always the easiest to take photos of and we love every photo she took. She has an amazing eye and was so easy to work with. No matter what kind of photo you may have told her you wanted even if it wasn't the easiest Cindy had no issue getting it. Cindy was extremely professional and helped guide us through getting gorgeous photos. Cindy was such a joy to worth with during our wedding on 7/1/16 at Holly Hedge Estate. She was a true professional from day 1 - always very responsive and helpful. Cindy photographed my wedding in November 2015. The wedding photos look amazing - everyone who sees them keeps commenting on how great they are. Cindy's photos are photojournalistic and they really captured the emotion that we were feeling on that day. She spent lots of time emailing us and speaking with us by phone beforehand, and she even took the time to learn the names of my close family members and the bridal party in advance, in order to make sure that everyone who was supposed to be in the photos was there. :) I really appreciated all of her patience and it was a lot of fun to be a part of her photo shoot.
